The hotel is very close to the beach, and the free breakfast is a great bonus. The rooms and common areas are serviced every day. They have both indoor and outdoor pools, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I also really liked how nice and fresh the hallways smelled. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

It would have been even better with more fresh fruit.

Nice cookie-cutter style hotel with two pools and included help-yourself basic breakfast. Near beach, restaurants, and attractions. Clean and spacious rooms. Room not ready til 4 pm....no early check-in.

Tenía muchas zonas sucias y con basuras en el piso, otra cosa nos tuvimos que retirar antes de la fecha por motivo de tormenta tropical y Hotel como también. Ustedes no me ayudaron a recibir un retorno bien sea una devolución monetaria o una propuesta de diferir a otra fecha, perdimos el dinero.

Room was excellent. Pools were refreshing and water pleasant. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They attended to every need. TV and internet was excellent. Bed was clean and comfortable. Great location for all attractions. Affordable and you get a very nice breakfast! What more does one need?

Smelled old. Furniture outdated. Horrible looking breakfast. We went somewhere else. Took forever to check in. We came about 8 years ago and decor was on its way out then. Use some money to upgrade the inside like you did the outside.

An okay location that’s close to the beach!

This hotel needs some renovation. Especially to the bathrooms. They charge for everything including a singular plastic fork. So as much as they charge for everything, the money should be spent on keeping up with the hotel. The rooms smelt like mildew and it was just muggy the entire trip in our room. This is something small but big to me, you have to put down a deposit which is fine. At checkout they told me to leave the room cards on the counter. I asked for my deposit since I gave cash. She was searching for 5 mins just to get back an almost ripped in half $100 that was not mine (I pulled out cash from my bank before arriving, so the money was fresh) and I showed her which envelope was ours and she still gave us another envelope. It’s a small incident but just being open & honest. I’m thankful I got the money back but that whole situation of it making it seem like they wanted me to forget abt it and then the $100 almost being useless because it was that damaged one fold away from ripping.

The lady that checked me in was very hateful and hard to understand, I rented 2 separate rooms for 5 nights as it was a family vacation, one of the rooms had water standing in the bathroom floor that had came through the vent from the 4th floo bathroom. They did clean it up and i was told that they were booked and if i didnt want that room i could go elsewherr which i thought that to be very rude and unprofessional. Of course no refund was offered either. Thankfully after they spoke to the 4th floors renters about the situation the water stopped coming down through the vent. Other then that situation it was an ok stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The roo. Was very clean as were the hallways and common areas. Breakfast was hot (the eggs were not a favorite, but thats a me thing) they have many choices for breakfast and kept it full, clean and neat. Would 100% stay again

Bathrooms can use updates such as the peeling wallpaper, and leaky toilet. Sheets and towels kind of worn out but clean. Outside doors by the pool didn’t lock properly to prevent non visitors from entering.

They lied about me being able to stay an extra night without having to move to another room even though I checked 2 weeks before and upon check-in! The manager was rude and said if I didn’t like having to change rooms I could go elsewhere. The blow dryers didn’t work, the tv remote in the second room didn’t work and the a/c in the second room rattled so loudly I couldn’t sleep, plus the floor was wet around the unit, ruining a pair of my socks. I’m disabled and this was a huge inconvenience asI was staying alone. This was my last day to spend with friends and family as I was there for my only son’s wedding, so precious time was missed with him and family. They eventually found a room on the first floor, which is what I needed due to my limitations. They told me it would take about 30-35 minutes to clean but agree an hour it was still not done. The place is in desperate need of updates, but the only update they were working on during my stay was putting up a new digital sign, which by the way blocked several odd the handicap spots. I wish I had taken pictures.

They brought clean towels every day and made the beds.

The location was great. The 2 pools were nice.

The bathtub had a dip in it so water would pool up and you’d have to stand in water. There were a few moldy spots we noticed in the bathroom towards the end of the stay.

Thank you Ms Tina. You made our stay so great. Your help with where to take our fur baby was spot on. She(Nova the Catahula Leopard) made lots of friends there.

the location has restaurant at walking distance. The beach is possibly at walking distance but if you carry anything to the beach then it is too far.

It was dirty and smelled like mildew. The shower was a disaster and the water ran into the carpet in the room. The staff were not nice and were very rude. Housekeeping showed up 15 minutes before check out time.

Staff is greedy on its towels, if you ask for extra towels or fresh ones they get an attitude and make comments under their breath. Cutting breakfast 30min early and then they get an attitude when you ask why. Place is too big to have one tiny elevator. Guest and cleaning personal fighting over the same elevator is ridiculous. Booking.com says it's walking distance to the beach. Definitely not. Abt 20 mins.or more depending on traffic. Not safe either, crossing five lanes of bumper to bumper traffic like the game frogger. Don't attempt it with kids or all beach stuff.....

The breakfast was wonderful. The kitchen staff were awesome. They were very attentive and accommodating.

The rate in the bird feeder in the front of the hotel. We were sitting outside on night, and a rat and her family were eating out of the birdfeeder.

If you're walking to the beach, you have to cross a wide, busy intersection. The beach area closest to the hotel was largely resident-only, private beaches. The next day, the wound up opting to drive to another area of the beach with better public access.

No me gustó el desayuno por que mis desayunos son saludable, lo mas saludable que podia comer era huevo, pero en realidad el huevo se parecía a todo menos a huevo. Era otra cosa que no se que es. De lo demás desayuno Americano.

I was there doing a surprise proposal at Henderson Beach, and SummerPlace was only a mile or so away. Plenty of food choices in walking distance.

Pleased with the entire stay, staff is friendly and accommodating to your needs, so thank you! Beds and pillows are super comfy, and location was perfect not far from beach at all! Will be back!

Was not as nice as the pictures looked. Can tell that the room we had used to be a smoking room. Brown water stains and rust as well. Their breakfast was sub par and breakfast area was too small.

Pool much smaller than images made it look. It is right next to a race track so the smell and sound when at the pool is bad. Our room was right next to the door where people entered/exited for pool and parking so our window to our room was very exposed.

Everything, the staff was amazing and were so nice and accommodating. The location made all of our adventuring easy. We stayed for our son's baseball tournament and could look out and see the fields. Best view in our opinion.

If I have to put something, we had a couple issues with the TV (it was old) but not enough to bother anyone with it. We just had to unplug it twice and it was fine.

Both indoor and outdoor swimming pool however hot tub was not working.

Wall plugs in half the room did not hold into the socket so I was limited to what I could charge for a family of 6. Also I let them know family of 6 and I only had towels for 3 the entire stay in a deluxe double bed that was big enough for 6.

What I liked about the hotel was its location.

I arrived after driving for more than seven hours. It was a bit frustrating to find that my room had problems with the air conditioning. I reported it to the front desk, and they told me it would be fixed the next day. Unfortunately, after spending a night barely able to sleep, I had to go back to the front desk the following afternoon because the problem still hadn’t been resolved. After the engineer inspected the air conditioner, it was decided that I should be moved to another room. It took almost 24 hours to resolve the issue so I could finally get some rest.

Friendly and helpful staff

Extreme shortage of towels. Housekeeping would remove dirty towels and not leave any clean ones. When we asked for clean towels the response was "we don't have any" or "they're being washed". That's no excuse to me. Buy more towels if washers can't keep up.

I wish I could give it zero stars! First let me say the staff and the hospitality of the staff are amazing, from Tina she’s a housekeeper super sweet! It’s a very convenient hotel, however for $1200 the filth that we had to encounter was outrageous! It’s already a vintage and old hotel that should be remodeled and updated with a lot of its amenities, the rooms were horrible! The beds had trash and wrappers behind them, the blinds to the balcony were torn, the room smelled like old rust and old cigarette smoke, the shower was dirty as the room floors, the sheets had pee stains on them as well as the bed/ mattress. I am very disappointed and need a refund for the madness we experienced! Update: I tried to contact management after I was replied to by management to call only to be talked down upon and hung up on as if the rooms weren’t horrific of course I stayed in the rooms and didn’t learn until afterwards when I stripped the bedding that it was old blood and piss on the mattresses! You all ought to be ashamed!!
