Os funcionários foram excepcionais, sempre disponíveis para ajudar e muito simpáticos, localização óptima, limpeza impecável, pequeno-almoço muito bom, piscina no terraço espetacular.

הגענו למלון עם ציפייה שהמקום יהיה טוב אבל מהר מאוד הבנו שזה לא יקרה. התחיל במציאת חנייה, אין חנייה במלון למרות שרשום בבוקינג שיש חנייה בתשלום של המלון וזה לא נכון, הם שולחים אותך לכל מיני חניות בעיר של מרחק הליכה גדול. לאחר מכן ציינו את העניין של החנייה לעובדי הקבלה ובתמורה לכך זלזלו וצחקו לנו בפנים. כאשר קיבלנו את החדר הוא לא היה דומה כפי שרואים בתמונה, החדר היה קטן וכלל לא תואם את התמונה גם מבחינת העיצוב. מבחינת המקלחת הזרם היה חלש ודלת הזכוכית לא נסגרה. החוויה במלון הייתה לא נעימה וזה הרס לנו את האווירה הכללית לא ממליצים בכלל וכמובן שלא שווה את הכסף.

Hotel was clean, room was well-kept and modern, staff were professional. The hotel is in walking distance to the main city centre. Bed was very comfy, and air con worked really efficiently over the heatwave.

Hotelli oli keskeisellä sijainnilla, huone oli siisti ja kattoterassilla oli mukava uima-allas ja auringonottopaikka baareineen. Liikkuminen oli helppoa ja hotellin ympäristö turvallinen. Huoneessa oli kaikki tarvittava ja se oli tasoltaan ensiluokkainen. Huonepalvelu oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta.

Valitettavasti kylpyhuoneen suihkupää lorotteli vettä yöllä. Heräsin yhtenä aamuna ennen seitsemää siihen, että kattosuihkusta lorahti yhtäkkiä itsekseen reilusti vettä. Arvelen, että joku muu käytti suihkua viereisessä tai toisen kerroksen kylpyhuoneessa, mikä sai aikaan minun huoneeni suihkun lorottamisen. Matkustin ryhmän kanssa, joilla kullakin oli omat huoneet. Ainakin kahdella muulla henkilöllä oli sama ongelma oman huoneen suihkunsa kanssa. Pienenä epämukavuutena oli myös se, että hotellin äänieristys oli heikohko ja kuulin (kovaäänisesti käytyjä) keskusteluja viereisestä huoneesta. Koska hotelli oli buukattu täyteen, en vaatinut huoneen vaihtamista, vaan nukuin korvatulppien kanssa.

Sehr zentrales Hotel mit schönem Zimmer sowie Dachterrasse.

Das Frühstück war leider etwas dürftig und der Kaffee hat nicht geschmeckt. Auch sehr schade das das Frühstück im Keller statt gefunden hat.

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem Hotel verbracht und waren bereits zum zweiten Mal auf Madeira. Bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt auf der Insel wohnten wir etwas außerhalb von Funchal in Richtung Lido, diesmal wollten wir bewusst zentral wohnen. Das Hotel Turim hat dafür eine sehr gute Lage. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Bushaltestellen sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Ins Stadtzentrum und zu den wichtigsten Verkehrsanbindungen benötigt man nur wenige Minuten. Die Zimmer waren gut und boten alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Er ist zwar nicht sehr groß, war für uns aber völlig ausreichend. Auch die Anzahl der Liegen war stets ausreichend, sodass wir jederzeit einen Platz gefunden haben. Insgesamt ist das Hotel eine gute Wahl für alle, die Madeira erkunden und dabei direkt im Zentrum von Funchal wohnen möchten.

Leider gab es auch einige Punkte, die uns weniger gefallen haben. Beim Frühstück war die Auswahl an Müsli sehr begrenzt, und bei den Eierspeisen hätten wir uns während unseres siebentägigen Aufenthalts deutlich mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Die Pfannkuchen wurden durchgehend kalt serviert. Außerdem hatte das bereitgestellte Wasser einen unangenehmen Beigeschmack. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage war es nachts teilweise recht laut, insbesondere durch vorbeifahrende Motorräder. Das Personal wirkte auf uns meist eher distanziert und wenig herzlich. Zwar war der Umgang stets korrekt und professionell, auf besondere Wünsche wurde jedoch nicht eingegangen. Dadurch fehlte uns insgesamt etwas die Gastfreundschaft, die wir von anderen Hotels kennen.

Staff incrível, limpeza impecável e uma estadia simplesmente maravilhosa, recomendo e voltaria sem hesitar!

Le WIFI n'est pas au niveau : deconnexions fréquentes et les PC avec un peu de sécurité ne peuvent pas se connecter, c'est le seul hotel à Madere ou je ne suis pas arrivé à le faire. Ok au niveau smartphone mais avec deconnexions fréquentes.

We have asked for the silent room on the upper floor, but for the first night we were given the second floor room in front of the elevator (209). It was noisy and we smell someone's cigarette smoke when we opened the balcony in the morning. So we have claimed about all of that on the next morning, checked out from this room and left our backpacks on the reception. When we returned back at the evening, we were given the great room on the 5th floor, and that one was perfect, thanks!

Las habitaciones amplias y todo está muy cuidado

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und über alle Parkmöglichkeiten informiert. Wir entschieden uns für das Parkhaus "Auto Silo do Campo da Barca" welches nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt liegt. Aber Achtung: am Samstag Nachmittag und den ganzen Sonntag hat das Parkhaus zu, da kommt man nicht zum Auto oder kann ausfahren, aber dafür kann man in der Stadt Gebührenfrei parken. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht, das Meer hat man zwar aufgrund der Stadtlage nicht ganz gesehen, aber war gut sichtbar. Zimmer und Bad war sauber und sehr geräumig, man konnte den Koffer öffnen und hatte genug Platz rundum zu gehen. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen, es war sehr reichhaltig und das Personal hat immer darauf geachtet, dass genug da ist. Selbst die Rühreier wurden immer wieder umgerührt. In wenigen Gehminuten war man am Hafen, bei der Seilbahn und in der Altstadt. Mit dem Auto war man sehr schnell auf der Autobahn um die Insel zu erkunden. Auf der Dachterrasse gab es einen Pool und eine Bar. Von hier aus hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf das Meer und auf die Stadt Funchal, welches spektakulär auf Berge gebaut wurde. Alles in allem war es ein toller Aufenthalt welchen ich sofort wieder buchen würde.

Sem dúvida da localização, e das dimensões do quarto

Da falta de estacionamento, da simpatia da maior parte do staff, retirando o pessoal da recepção e da limpeza, deixam muito a desejar, o sistema de cartão para activar o elevador não consegui perceber a utilidade e a teimosia de providenciar copos de pequenos para o pequeno almoço

O quarto não era exatamente o da foto, era bem menor, apesar de ter as mesmas comodidades.

Nous avons passé une semaine au sein de l'hôtel afin de pouvoir nous déplacer facilement depuis Funchal. -L'emplacement de l'hôtel est le vrai +, on peut facilement repartir de Funchal en évitant les embouteillages du centre et à pied on est vraiment à 10-15mn du port, de rues commerçantes, de la cathédrale, des choses à voir de la capitale... -Le petit-déjeuner est complet et bon. Il y a également une piscine très cool sur le rooftop avec un bar qui vend boissons et snacks très sympas si besoin (salades, tapas). -La chambre était spacieuse et toujours très propre. -Il y a un parking avec des places limitées dans l'hôtel mais nous jugions le prix assez élevé (15 euros/jour). Heureusement il y a un parking public payant à 5mn à pied (attention vérifiez bien les horaires selon les jours car il n'est pas ouvert H24) ou sinon des places dehors gratuites à 10mn à pied. Pour une semaine et pour l'emplacement, nous ne pouvons que recommander !

-Seul léger bémol, vu la taille de la chambre il pourrait y avoir plus de rangements proposés notamment dans la salle de bain.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très accueillant, gentil, les chambres sont propres et confortables, les choses sucrées du petit déjeuner sont délicieuses. Et la très bonne surprise du menu entrée-plat-dessert proposé le soir : des produits de qualité, plats équilibrés, portions impeccables. Excellent. L'hôtel est également bien situé, le centre est rapidement accessible à pied.

Les repas se faisaient au sous-sol, on aurait préféré en terrasse :-)

Das gesamte Personal des Hotels war super kundenorientiert und konnte uns immer bei jeder Frage oder Bitte weiterhelfen. Unser Highlight im Hotel war die Dachterasse. Dort kann man essen, trinken, im Pool baden und die Aussicht auf die Stadt, Berge und das Meer genießen.

Die Kaffeemaschine im Frühstücksraum (Instant-Kaffee) wird dem restlichen Standard des Hotels nicht gerecht. Meckern auf hohem Niveau: der Fernseher in unserem Zimmer war nicht Smart-TV fähig, d. h. kein Netflix oder ähnliches.

Sehr netter Empfang im Hotel. Tolle Lage- wir haben fußläufig nur wenige Minuten bis in die Stadt gebraucht. Man hat in dem Hotel alles, was man braucht. Bequeme Betten, gutes Frühstück und sehr sauber. Insgesamt auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen :)

Un serveur jeune, assez grand et avec un tatouage au niveau du bras passait son temps à discuter au lieu de s'occuper du client... Il nous a apporté des œufs au plat et il nous les a posés sur la table comme si nous étions des chiens ! Aucune formule de politesse ... ni bonjour, ni merci, ni aurevoir ! Heureusement que les autres serveurs n'étaient pas comme lui !

We had a wonderful stay at Turim Santa Maria. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help us plan our trips, accommodating every request with professionalism and care. A special thank you to Catia, who kindly arranged for us to dine at the hotel after a long hike. The reception team also gave excellent recommendations for our mountain excursions and evening spa visits. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel was impeccably clean, and its location was perfect, within easy walking distance of most attractions. Thank you, Turim Santa Maria. We can't wait to return!

We booked quite late (3 days in advance) and paid 600 euros for 3 nights with half board. It is a beautiful hotel and the food is good. The pool on the rooftop terrace is a very nice addition.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi sometimes leaves something to be desired.

One thing worth noting for future guests is that parking is not offered as a complimentary benefit, even though it is listed among the hotel's facilities. Guests should expect to pay an additional charge for parking, which wasn't made clear upfront.

The hotel is on a good location within 15-20 minute walk from most areas we needed. The rooms (if you take separate beds) are spacious and comfortable. Beds are of good quality. Toiletries are basic, but sufficient. Breakfast has a good quantity of items.

First negative experience was when we contacted the hotel via Booking to arrange a transfer from the airport. Although they confirmed the transport, none was waiting for us. We called the hotel and after 10 minutes they informed us that they forgot to make the reservation and offered to make a new taxi call, but that would pick us up after 15-20 minutes or we can call Uber. Funny thing is that Uber is not available in Madeira, but Bolt is (we didn't know that at that time). After additional 20 minutes lost, we managed to sort out the transfer ourselves from the airport. As an apology, we were offered a cheap bar drink. When we reached reception, only one person was at the desk and processing was really slow. Only one lady was before us and she was already half way through the process and it took another 10 minutes to finish with her. Rooms are good, but sound isolation towards the hallway is horrible. You can clearly hear people talking in the hallway, especially if they are a bit louder or with children. We do not mind the children, but we do mind poor sound isolation. Breakfast has limited variety which is common for Portugal, but we expected more for a 200€ per night hotel not in the peak of season. Breakfast chairs should be cleaned. We were first in the room (7 am when the breakfast starts) and 2/3 of the chairs on two tables we occupied as a group had crumbs all over them from previous meals. There are only two elevators for a hotel which has larger number of rooms and although the hotel was not at the full capacity we had periods of prolonged waiting. There were also other small things like shower clogged with limescale, gel pump not working, etc. We reported some of the issues and they were quickly resolved, but we expected more for the price. In our opinion, value - price ratio is rather poor.

Der Balkon mit Blick Richtung Berge war sehr gut! Spannender als Meerblick. Die Rooftop Bar war sehr schön, immer bereit für Gäste. Schöne Aussicht, ruhig, Sonne und Schatten je nach Bedarf.

Der Parkplatz war ein Parkhaus ca 250m zum laufen, aber sehr günstig mit 4.50€ für 24 Stunden.
