Nkala Safari Lodge

We had the most amazing stay at Nkala safari lodge. So well decorated and had everything we needed to have the most comfortable and beautiful experience.

There seemed to be a sand flea nest in the outdoor seating area.

Everything! It’s more beautiful in person than in the pictures.

Nothing to dislike

My second time here and it never disappoints in every regard 👏

I’m fussy and there is nothing that disappoints

We had a wonderful stay at Nkala! Our bungalow, the lion suite was exquisite! The kitchen, lapa and boma were all wonderful and well-equipped for our self-catering needs. The lapa overlooking the waterhole was our favorite place to hang out and relax. It even has a loo so you don’t need to trek back to your rooms. But, our Ranger Ellie, was the star of our visit. She gave us a wonderful, wide-ranged bush experience from wildlife to landscapes along with some wonderful birding. Thank you so very much Ellie and the Nkala staff for the marvelous experience.

The place is amazing, and the rooms are as good if not better than the photos. The ranger Ella was great so knowledgeable and easy to talk too. The viewing area is fantastic. You see some amazing animals up close.

The rooms and facilities at the lodge are perfectly thought out, and the staff were brilliant.

I really can't find any fault.

Ella, our guide and the entire support team were amazing. Each went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The lodge facilities were luxurious. The perfect family holiday location.

Due to some recent heavy rains many of our doors had swollen and were getting stuck. Some of the outside lights and one bar fridge was not working, but this was repaired within 24 hours.

The buskveld location is wonderful and the game drives are a real treat. The layout of the property suits our family very well - enough private space as well as enough communal space. The property design and decor is 5 star. The staff are friendly, attentive and quietly discrete. Elsabe is an excellent game ranger and goes the extra mile to make everybody happy and comfortable during the entire stay. Hilda was a very helpful and friendly chef. The family came from far and wide and everybody agreed that this destination is one in a million.

We hated going home

They thought if everything. And very well maintained. The game ranger was incredible.

Load shedding.

Nkala is amazing and cant thank the team enough. Ella and the staff was amazing. The lodge is incredible and cather to every need. We had the best time and will most definitely be back and be back and be back.
