The location is good, just a few minutes walk to the beach and to the shops. The gardens and pool are are really lovely. Water, fridge and kettle were good in room.

The rooms definitely could good do with some maintenance. Taps were loose and paint coming off the walls. Very basic room clean every day.

Location was perfect and the resort was absolutely beautiful we loved it! Staff at reception were lovely too and breakfast was nice. Super close to the beach and main street in Sanur. Perfect :)

The cleaning of the bathroom and toilet could better. All needs a good scrub into corners grout and all the edges. Everything just seems to be cleaned around these areas. Not clean enough for me.

Tout. La chambre était scandaleuse (sale, vieille, de la moisissure aux murs et au plafond, une « salle de bain » ignoble, un petit déjeuner degueulasse, …) et le tout pour 85€ la nuit … un scandale !

The location is perfect. Tucked away on a side street in a quiet area. The pool area is wonderful. Beautifully maintained grass and gardens.

The rooms are getting dated especially the bathroom and sink in my unit. Breakfast is limited and I'm not sure if it is understaffed but it could take a while to take your order. Scrambled eggs are always cold unfortunately pre cooked. I have had cheaper accommodation that is on par or better but I do recommend if you want a quiet close to the beach place

Good location, rooms were big, breakfast was nice, staff were fantastic. Close to some good local beach restaurants. Very comfy beds. More suited for adults wanting to relax.

The rooms were spacious and had a comfortable bed. Shower was great, however room had some obvious signs of ageing although didn't impact on comfort. Close to beach and plenty of shops and cafe's around. Icon bali mall was a comfort 1.5km walk along the beach front on a path. Swimming pool was also good

Nice staff, great garden and pool. The food and breakfast is pretty good. The bed was comfy. The location is good and relatively quiet.

My room often smelled of septic tank. There was mold in the walls and bathroom. the shower was over a bath and there was no shower curtain so a shower meant a wet toilet and floor. There were not enough power points and the few they had were not other plug friendly. The internet dropped out every time I closed a device meaning that I had to log back in all the time. This was my 3rd stay at Segara Agung, I loved my first stay except for the shortage of power points, the second stay was marred by the septic smell but I thought they would fix it, I don't believe that much,if any, maintenance has been carried out on their older rooms since my first visit.

The pool and gardens are excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily if wanted. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Grounds were kept very tidy all the time. I loved my room with direct pool access.

Staff very noisy all day, laughing and talking top of their voices which seemed to take over the whole area. It did spoil the peace and quiet many days. I didn't have an AC remote so couldn't monitor my room temperature. Internet connection was a bit hit and miss.

Rooms could be cleaned better

The gardens and pool are pretty typical Balinese style which I like. Very basic breakfast though with drip coffee and tea. No gluten free or lactose free options but it’s included in the stay.

My first room had a crack in the sink and the wood behind the sink had a gap from rotting away with water damage. There was a smell like moth balls in the room and there was damage on the walls that’s not been repaired. The towels provided were old and threadbare. Bed was clean though and the balcony is good but it’s an old place so there’s just no charm inside the place. The lighting is not great especially to do makeup which is just a woman thing. The gardens are lovely and there’s a temple on the grounds plus a lovely pool where you can have breakfast. I had stayed at a 5 star resort the first night so this was a bit of a shock. They did move me to a room upstairs which was better. I really only slept here and used the facilities at Bali Beach Hotel where I’d bought a twin share package.

Locatie is fijn! Zijstraat richting strand. Verschillende gebouwen met kleinere en grotere kamers. En beneden enkele bungalows huisjes voor meerdere personen. Kleinschalig en niet te druk. Fijn zwembad (niet erg schoon helaas) Het ligt ochtends wel al vol bij het zwembad maar einde middag vaak weer genoeg bedjes beschikbaar. (Wij zwemmen vooral eind van de dag dus voor ons geen probleem) Leuke tuin (elke middag kaketoe in de boom) en restaurant aanwezig voor ontbijt/lunch of diner of drankjes. Bezoekers zijn voornamelijk (Australische)ouderen en enkel wat gezinnen. Ontbijt verschillende keuze mogelijkheden en kinderkaart. Huisje 15 tegenover restaurant is erg ruim. Heeft een ruim terras en een badkamer met 2 wasbakken inloopdouche en toilet. Voldoende ruimte voor 4 personen.

Schoonmaak gebeurd bijtijds in de ochtend al. Rond 08.00-09.00. Als je uitslaapt kun je gewekt worden hierdoor want ze kloppen gewoon aan wanneer je niet buiten zit. Geven ruim voldoende water elke dag, heel fijn! Huisje 15 is echter erg verouderd en niet schoon! Onder en achter de kastjes meubels / bed wordt duidelijk niet gepoetst. Ligt veel viezigheid en stof. Ook stoflagen op de lampenkappen en ook niet alle lampen doen het. Jammer als het netjes en schoon is ziet het er al 20x beter uit! Badkamer ook verouderd en veel kalk en vies douchegordijn en ventilatierooster. Er is geen daglicht/raam in de badkamer. Handdouche was goed en warm! Regendouche niet geprobeerd na alle reviews dat deze niet of nauwelijks werkt. Geen vies beddengoed gezien wel handdoeken met wat vlekken. Filters zwembad zaten vol met plukken haar, dus niet erg hygiënisch.

Wir waren zu viert da. Ein schöner Garten mit Pool. Freundlicher Service. Frühstück war ok. Aber sonst sind die Zimmer schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr muffig riechendes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss . Im Obergeschoss ging es etwas besser. Beide sehr staubig. Die Badezimmer, sind meiner Meinung nach absolut inakzeptabel!

Alles in allem zu dreckig. Bettzeug hatte alte (Blut-)Flecken. Die Handtücher hatten auch schon ihre Beste Zeit hinter sich. Fensterrahmen waren zu geklebt. Von der Wand löste sich die Farbe bzw. der Putz. Lieber nicht buchen, wer wert auf Hygiene und Wohlfühlen legt.

Property had gone downhill since last year. 1st room was dirty and smelly. They did upgrade us though. Breakfast very bland. Pool started to go green.

Alles is wel wat gedateerd. De badkamer mag wel een upgrade krijgen. De stortdouche konden we niet gebruiken, die was aan 1 kant open en water stonk enorm. Verder veel vlekken op allen lakens en dekens

Very average breakfast, wifi was slow at times and had to re log in every time. Also charged us for a ‘damaged’ towel that we had used to mop up a soft drink spill.

Prachtig gelegen en aangelegd, op en mooie locatie vlak bij de winkels en restaurants en vlak bij de zee en boulevard Kamers zijn ruim genoeg, en er is een koelkastje op de kamer. Personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prijs/kwaliteit is uitstekend Ook ontbijt was goed, voldoende keuze. We hebben er ook 1 keer gelunched, ook de lunch was prima.

We hadden meerdere kamers en eigenlijk was bij elke kamer de wasbak en wastafel aan vervanging toe.

That photo does not reflect this property, it is very dirty, run down and old. I had a dirty towel, asked for a new one, got a dirty one again. Had to ask again. The bathroom looked to have window openings, which made it noisy, the doona had stains, and so did the sheets. I ordered breakfast to my room and the omelete had a hair in it. Ordered a pot of tea, the crockery was filthy. I booked 12 nights and stayed 1.

Staff were awesome pool awesome garden staff amazing (noise from screaming children unfortunately loud and disappointing) the best thing this hotel can do is not allow children to stay there. There quests are usually older and do not want screaming children all day🤬this was a disappointment and as long as they have children staying at this place I will not return (

It was a nice small hotel, a short walk to the beach. The rooms were very spacious. Water temperature and pressure were excellent. Could always get a bed by the pool

The room i stayed in could do with a really good clean, especially the bathroom. There was mould on the walls, and there was a smell of sewerage in the bathroom also. The door had to be kept closed always. Only one light worked in the room

The room space was more than adequate with a wonderful balcony since we stayed in the 2nd floor. The hotel was just few steps to the Sanur beach. The staff of this hotel are all accommodating.

The room and bathroom need thorough cleaning. Black molds can be seen in the bathroom.

De motivatie van personeel een paar sprongen eruit supervriendelijk Maar je ziet gewoon dat het management ze niet juist behandeld Erg sneu ze doen zo hun best Was stroomuitval en geen noodgenerator... Dus maar paar daagjes eiland hoppen.. Had late uitchecken op voorhand geboekt en krijgen we bericht dat we er eerder uit moeten.. das schrikken..later excuses gemaakt .. Maar aan zulke dingen merk je management tekort!

An older style hotel with old school charm. Not far from the beach and handy to eating places. Could do with a little freshen up but it was okay for us.

Loved the location and the staff were great. Comfy bed and a heated was great. If they maintained the rooms like they do the gardens it would excellent. Certainly value for money. Quiet location helped make this relaxing.

Room was dated and needed maintaining. There were water stains on the ceiling, cobwebs in the corners, wood borers in the furniture and shower was below standard. There is also a few trip hazards around the pool and loose tiles in the room.

Loved everything about this hotel. Great location in a quiet part of Sanur. Only a few minute walk to the beach and loads of shops and warungs nearby. Beautiful friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable spacious room, beautiful gardens and a great pool.

The location is excellent, with the beach and shops within easy walking distance. The garden and pool area are সুন্দর and well maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

The rooms feel quite worn and in need of renovation. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, and hot water was unavailable most of the time. Strong fragrances are used in the rooms, likely to mask odors, but they can be overpowering. While Wi-Fi is available, the internet connection itself was not working reliably. Also, if you arrive before 2 PM, the hotel does not seem to prioritize preparing your room earlier, even if possible.

Great location, just a short easy 4mim walk to beach and restaurants. Pool was clean and beautiful. Gardens were kept so well. Cold air con in room 9. All rooms great location, I'd choose ground floor any day. Breaky was off a menu and the eggs on toast were lovely sitting right by the pool.

Tired rooms, but great for budget. Vanity was in need of replacement, but didn't effect our stay at all.

Bathrooms are bath type with shower head and big step to get in Bathrooms need renovating, very dilapidated. The rooms have mould on walls and need cleaning and painting Wifi is terrible, drops out all the time Cleaning staff need a rev up, all young playing on there phones However if you do ask, they will clean everything for you The pool was very dirty and had algae growth all over the walls. I spoke to the manager whom got one of the staff to scrub the walls and add chlorine each day She was very helpful

Segara is beautifully located in Sanur. A quiet position and just a short walk to the esplanade walkway and numerous cafes and the beach. Very well balinese styled buildings, spacious rooms and phenomenal value for money. I won't stay anywhere else in Sanur now.
