Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Hotel is on a ridge and overlooking two beautiful valleys (even without seeing the famous canopy of clouds). We did a nice 1 1/2h looping hike direct from the hotel to the and then along the beautiful Eryanping Trail. The evening hotpots were delicious.
We didn’t realise that the hotel is an hour’s drive from the Alishan recreation area.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026כל החוויה הכוללת מדהימה. הגענו זוג ומזג האוויר לא היה לטובתנו. הסתובבנו מחוץ למלון והנוף היה מדהים. בערב אכלנו ארוחת הוט פוט טעימה מאוד וחוויתית מאוד מול נוף עוצר נשימה. בבוקר לצערנו לא זכינו לזריחה כי היה ערפילי ומעונן אבל עדיין היה יפה מאוד. ארוחת הבוקר היתה טובה ולאחריה קיבלנו הסבר מפורט כולל טקס טעימת תה מצוות המלון בקבלה שיה מדהים. כששאלנו לגבי היציאה מהלוח לאוטובוס הצוות הציע להסיע אותנו לתחנת האוטובוס הקרובה והיו מאוד נחמדים.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026平台的景觀100分，是十方山水的大亮點，尤其是無憂系列的房型一打開窗簾就是雲海，早上還可以看日出，真的大推。 晚餐自費的火鍋菜盤很豐盛，房間內放的手工餅乾很好吃，整體來說是來阿里山值得一住的地點。
希望枕頭可以多給一顆到兩顆，原本提供的實在是太扁了，不太舒適。

Our room was nice yet basic and tired. We didn’t care for the flying ants in our room. Cash payment was required although card payment advertised. We have traveled extensively. We wished we would have upgraded to a different place.

It was super conveniently located on the bus route between Chiayi and Alishan forest, with beautiful hiking trails and tea houses nearby. It was quiet and clean and everyone was very friendly, especially the chief mouser and head of mouse keeping, tabby cat and orange cat! The breakfast and tea options were delicious, nothing is better than eating their jasmine tea jelly while watching seas of clouds rolling over nearby mountains.

Reviewed May 27, 2026SunSweet House is a very good place to hike and to have a quiet get away. The staff is very friendly and helps with questions on transportation. We enjoyed hiking around the tea plantations. The hot pot dinner is very tasty and nourishing after a day of hiking.
We traveled to SunSweet House by bus. It's an adventure. The bus system is a bit tricky. Having a ready car service to the place would be a good alternative.
