We hadden eerst een kamer direct aan de voorkant naast de weg. Aangezien dit een vrij drukke straat is, hadden we vrij veel last van het lawaai. We konden gelukkig gemakkelijk een nieuwe kamer krijgen, dat was erg fijn. Deze kamer was echt erg goed en hier hadden we nagenoeg geen last van de weg.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Disappointing experience. The apartment 101 is generally okay, but the value for money is very poor. It is a 15-minute walk from the station, far from shops and restaurants. The sofa bed is like sleeping on the floor, and worst of all, the bedroom windows are just 30 centimetres from a very busy road with heavy traffic at all hours. Sleeping there is like being at a Formula 1 circuit. We're sorry, but this was a very disappointing experience.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026De accommodatie ligt iets hoger de berg op dan het plaatsje zelf. Prima lopend te doen maar goed om te weten. 4 ruime bedden en goede badkamer. Het toilet was apart en er was een keukentje aanwezig, helaas geen bank in de kamer om op te zitten. Er lagen poefjes bij de lage salontafel, wat overigens heel normaal is in Japan.
Aan de accommodatie niets! Het plaatsje Hakone is het meest levendige tussen de middag. Als je vroeg wilt ontbijten (7.00-9.00 uur) ivm je dagplanning activiteiten is er praktisch niks open en dat geldt ook voor s avonds waar veel restaurants vroeg gesloten zijn 🤔. Tip: op geen 150 meter van de accommodatie is wel een heel lekker Chinees restaurant gevestigd (en op tot 24.00 uur)

Aunque el alojamiento está a unos 15 minutos andando de la estación, la comunicación es sencilla gracias al autobús, y las instrucciones del alojamiento explican claramente cómo llegar. Además, el trayecto está incluido en el Hakone Pass si se tiene activado. Al principio puede resultar un poco extraño que no haya recepción, pero el proceso de check-in online es muy sencillo y el mismo día de la llegada recibes un código personal para acceder a tu habitación. El apartamento es muy amplio, cómodo y está muy bien cuidado. Cuenta con nevera y cocina, y dispone también de un pequeño baño de estilo onsen que resulta muy práctico y agradable después de un día recorriendo Hakone. Hay varios konbini cerca, por lo que es fácil comprar comida o cualquier cosa que se necesite. Es un lugar tranquilo y silencioso. En conjunto, un alojamiento muy recomendable por la amplitud, comodidad y tranquilidad, especialmente si se busca disponer de más espacio y cierta autonomía durante la estancia.
Como aspectos a mejorar, estuvimos dos noches y no hubo cambio de toallas. Tampoco nos quedó claro cómo solicitarlo en caso de necesitarlo. Además, el día del check-out se permite dejar las maletas en la zona de entrada, pero al no ser un espacio cerrado ni contar con vigilancia, no nos pareció una opción suficientemente segura. Esto limita bastante la posibilidad de aprovechar el día de salida para hacer alguna actividad antes de continuar el viaje.

It was a shame we only stayed for one night, as we quickly realized there was so much to explore and one day simply wasn’t enough. We would definitely love to come back and stay longer next time!

There was a few spots of mould in the toilet and the living room which was also the bedroom and also we didn’t have a view because it had loads of planks over the window to hide the external condensers. However, we were just unlucky because our family had was staying in a different room and had a beautiful view and no issues with mould.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Exatamente como nas fotos. Confortável e organizado. Tem uma conveniência super próximo que dá pra comprar coisas para o café da manhã. Oferecem pijamas, chinelos, shampoo e sabonete. A cozinha tem uma geladeira, microondas e fogão por indução.
Conforme eles já indicam no anúncio, é uma subida íngrime para chegar, embora seja bem próximo à estação. Estávamos em 3 pessoas e não encontramos os lençóis do sofá cama o que foi bem desagradável. Mandamos mensagem por volta das 19:30, mas só responderam no dia seguinte. A cozinha não tem facas nem pratos e tem apenas dois garfos. Se vc está pensando em realmente preparas algo, não dá, o que vc pode fazer é comprar comida congelada e comer na própria embalagem do produto.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Bad war ebenfalls sehr geräumig. Pantoffeln und super kuschelige Piyamas sind auch vorhanden. Ich hatte die Inhaberin oder den Inhaber gefragt wo man diese bekommt und sie haben mir prompt weitergeholfen. In der Nähe gibt es auch Restaurants und einen seven-eleven.

Ausencia de recepción, aunque el contacto con las instrucciones por correo electrónico fue correcto. Ausencia de ascensor. Precisas coger autobús si llegas con mucho equipaje.

We were disappointed that check-in wasn't available until 4:00 pm, which felt quite late. I emailed in advance to ask if an earlier check-in might be possible, but unfortunately didn't receive a response. The room was also not very well soundproofed, and traffic noise from outside made it difficult to sleep. In addition, the cleanliness could have been better. There was a noticeable water mark around the bath that hadn't been cleaned, which was a little off-putting and detracted from the overall impression.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Great space for a family of 5. Super comfortable beds, amazing shower, nice location away from the main area but only 10 minute walk to the main station. Enjoyed the extra amenities - toothbrush and toothpaste, pyjamas. Just a note, the stairs in the building are steep to get up, just need to go slow up and down them.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026The photos on the listing are very misleading. They show a bright room with large windows and natural light, but the room we were given had virtually no natural light because the window was completely blocked by wooden boarding concealing washing machines outside. The bathroom pictured for our room is not the bathroom we had - the picture shows a bathroom with a window, ours was windowless. The room also had black mould in multiple areas, which was unpleasant and unacceptable. I raised these issues with the property, who apologised and said they would update the listing, effectively acknowledging that it is inaccurate, but this did nothing to improve our stay. Had the listing accurately reflected the room, we would not have booked it. I would not recommend staying here.

Apartment was small (expected) but could have used more hooks and storage spaces for luggage. Five of us in the small space was fine but storage was an issue. We also would have loved pre warning that there are no grocery stores in Hakone Yumoto.

Single beds only. If you are coupled, you need to move to a convertible sofa that's not the most comfortable.

Wir hatten das Appartment 101-Erdgeschoss,direkt vor dem einzigen benutzbarem Fenster steht ein großer Wohnwagen mit wohl Putzutensilien für das Personal. Dadurch dass auch die Jalousien immer unten waren bzw 1 kaputt war und sich eh nicht öffnen lies war es im Appartement extrem dunkel.Fenster-ein kleines-waren nicht zu öffnen.Hatte mir leider mehr von der Website her vorgestellt. Aber es gab ja auch viele gute/sehr gut Dinge im Appartement Was auch nicht allzu schön ist-die Autos /der Verkehr fahren gefühlt durchs Schlafzimmer-laut und ungemütlich

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026In my opinion, this is a very pleasant accommodation. It is well equipped, so it could also be a great choice for a longer stay. We arrived early and wanted to leave our luggage under the stairs, but one of the staff members informed us that our room had already been cleaned and that we could use it right away. This was around 11:00, which was a very kind and helpful gesture. Check-in and check-out are handled online, which is very convenient. The website also provides a lot of useful additional information. There is a fantastic place very close by, which I highly recommend: Chobi Yakitori. :) The hill mentioned by many guests really does exist, and you do have to conquer it to reach the accommodation, but it is not a big challenge. Overall, this is a very good choice.
