K's House Hostels - Hakone Yumoto Onsen

Nous avons vraiment apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, les espaces communs, la facilité de transports et le onsen ! Les dortoirs sont très propres et confortables. Un des meilleurs hostels qu’on est pu tester.

Le onsen était très bien très relaxant et la pièce commune bien agencée et sereine

위치가.........2명이상 오면 역에서 택시타고 혼자오면 버스타세요. 오르막 산길이라 숙소가는데 캐리어 끌고 가면 힘듦. 반면 숙소에서 체크아웃하고 돌아갈땐 내리막길이라 걸어감 여성전용 도미토리없고 혼성임 태어나서 혼성 첨 가봄. 방은 깨끗한데, 특유의 남자 홀아비냄새가 남. 외국인 배낭여행객들 많음

Fajna atmosfera i klimat oraz bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny personel. W ogole nie przeszkadzal nam brak prysznica w lazience przy pokoju, bralismy prysznic przed skorzystaniem z onsenu i po jego wyjściu. Możliwość korzystania z czesci wspolnej klimatycznego salonu z tarasem i kuchni, zrobienia sobie kawy, herbaty czy posiłku. Bardzo polecam.

Amazing 2 night stay at Ks House. It is up on the hill with amazing views. It is very peaceful and tranquil and soothes your soul. The hot springs in the hostel are great. We stayed in the Japanese style room and that was very authentic and comfortable. The staff was absolutely incredible and super helpful. It is located on the bus line to take you to lake Ashi so that made it great for our hakone free pass which I highly recommend. It is also located 1 minute from a fantastic restaurant that is super authentic and has amazing affordable food.

When we exited the train we tried to get an Uber to the hostel but the Uber was incredibly hard to find. I will recommend letting guests know to take a taxi straight away from the train station and not an Uber. The pickup spot using Uber is really hard to find.

Czysto, przyjemny pokój dzienny, miałam też możliwość skorzystania samej z onsenu, gdyż godziny otwarcia są idealne. No i jestem bardzo wdzięczna za możliwość szybszego zostawienia bagażu oraz pożyczenia parasola bez dodatkowych opłat 😊

Os funcionários são muito atenciosos e cordiais, a acomodação é muito limpa e organizada.

O Horário do Checkout poderia ser livre também. Algo que foi negativo, não é referente a hospedagem e sim a sua localização, há uma longa subida para chegar no Hostel e quando chove o chão fica muito escorregadio, por isso atenção redobrada em épocas de chuva.

Cet hôtel est un vrai bijou logé dans la montagne ! Nous avons séjourné deux nuits. La montée est rude (surtout sous la chaleur) mais cela en vaut la peine. Les futons étaient très confortables. Un gros plus pour le Onsen.

This hostel is phenomenal! Immaculately clean, lovely common areas, welcoming staff, and a relaxing onsen. The facilities are well-designed, well-maintained, and appropriate for children. A passcode is required after hours to enter the building, which contributes to the overall feeling of safety. We appreciated the free coffee and tea in the morning! Highly recommend and intend to return!

The sidewalks to the property are narrow and windy, but this is intrinsic to the area. Though this could pose difficulties for some guests, the hostel makes this information known - plan accordingly.

働いている皆さんがとってもとにかく綺麗なようで、関内には地理1つありません。キッチンもいつもピカピカに磨かれていて、電子レンジやトースターの裏側もピッカピカです。温泉もそれほど大きくありませんが、時間を選んで入ると1人でゆっくりできます。

旧東海道沿いであるので、大体100メートルほど坂道を上がる必要があるため、重たいスーツケースなど持っている人はちょっと苦戦します。私はリュックを背負って足腰を鍛えるつもりで歩きました。汗びっしょりですけどね。

The calmness and comfort of the house made my stay very relaxing

Très calme proche du centre à pied malgré une jolie montée. Restaurants sympathiques aux alentours. Onsens décontractants. Personnel aux petits soins attentionnés.

The hot spring was perfect! So relaxing. The shared kitchen was super handy too! It has its own hot spring and also a 15 minute walk down the road is tianshan (tenzan?) hot spring which was so big and amazing! It was raining so we spent the whole day there.

It was all perfect!

Wspólna przestrzeń, onseny, wygodne łóżka, wyposażona kuchnia.

This hostel is truly a gem. We stayed in a very spacious private room with its own bathroom and a beautiful view. The room was comfortable and nice, but we also loved the common areas. The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the private onsens, both indoor and outdoor, included in the price. We had the chance to enjoy both, and the experience was simply perfect.

One of my favourite hostels from my stay in Japan! The dorm rooms are lovely and the beds are very comfortable. The inside onsen unfortunately was not usable during my stay, but the outside onsen was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Outdoor tub and terrace. The lounging room. Kitchen well stocked and convenient dining. Right on bus line. Beautiful views from rooms and terrace. Nice decor. Quiet. Nice futons.

Tubs not open til afternoon. Coffee not available til 7:30. Couldn’t use terrace til 8 am. We were out and about most of the day so we were there mostly early in the morning and so couldn’t enjoy terrace or tubs.

Well connected to train station and by bus. Well setup hostel. Kind staff. Outdoor onsen beautiful. Easy to connect with people in common areas.

There was a bit of strange smell around the onsen (but it was clean and it wasn't the water), and there was quite a loud technical buzz sound all the while.

Onsen was as good as any expensive ryokan, with generous opening hours. Not crowded at all, if you come early (before 6PM) you get a very good chance to enjoy the bath alone. The room was spacious, bathroom always clean and avalaible.

The location is a bit far from from the station and the hill is steep. If coming with baggages, take a taxi from the station, it costs around 1000-1300 yen.

Ein gemütliches Hostel mit guter küchenausstattung und netten Gemeinschaftsraum mit Terrasse.

Die Schlafräume lagen leider direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße die auch nachts benutzt wurde. Unser gebuchtes Zweibettzimmer war lediglich mit ein Vorhang von anderen Bettnischen getrennt. Das Wasser, des ansonsten guten Onsens, war vergleichsweise zu kalt.

Located 15 minutes walk fully uphill.

This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The staff was so helpful, friendly and spoke very good English. Free luggage storage was available, laundry was only 500yen, and the onsens were incredible. We were there during the day when they were cleaning and they make sure everything is spotless - including the shared kitchen and bathrooms. The common room and patio had amazing views of the surrounding nature.

Pay attention to the bus times to save your legs from walking uphill. Little hard to find restaurants in Hakone but really nice kitchen to cook some meals right at the hostel!

Ca grimpe un peu pour y aller. Mais ce n'est gênant que si vous avez des bagages très lourds. Dans le cas contraire ça fait un peu d'exercice mais rien de dramatique 🙂

Eine schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft. Besonders toll sind die zwei Onsen - indoor und outdoor.

Die Lage ist gut, aber die Entfernung zum Bahnhof sind deutlich mehr als 350m und es geht immer bergauf. Ich hatte das hostel u.a. wegen seiner Nähe zum Bahnhof gewählt.

Beautiful on site onsen, well-kept communal areas, lovely views and warm welcome.

L'ambiance du logement est top (beaux espaces communs). La chambre était assez spacieuse et les futons assez confortables (ça reste des futons par contre). Les onsens de l'hôtel sont top (surtout celui extérieur) ! Bien placé par rapport à la gare. Personnel sympathique qui nous a bien accueilli et nous a expliqué le fonctionnement de l'auberge en français ! La possibilité de laisser gratuitement ses bagages sur place le jour de l'arrivée et du départ est un vrai plus.

They provide clean towels everyday, slippers. Close to Tenzen onsen. Only one bus stop away. Fully equpped Kitchen and common room is beautiful. Capsule beds are comfortable. Showers and toilets great. The best is their on-site onsen.

The dorm room a bit stuffy. There's a window next to a bed but the person sleeping there might want it closed. Only one bys that goes to the hostel but it's not the fault of the hostel. Walking takes 15 min downhill to the Hakone-Yumoto station but walking uphill with luggage would take 30 to 45 min I think, depending on how fit you are. There are two roads that are quite steep but it is still worthwhile to stay there. Taxi amis around 1000 ten. Bus around 250 yen. Daino-Chaya is the closest bus stop.

Esta situado a 15 min andando del centro del pueblo, hay un bus q te lleva pero que pasa 1 vez/hora. Y coger taxi es muy dificil pero la alta demanda.

I reckon the location on Hakone was brilliant and having your own hot spring right on our feet it's absolutely brilliant and me and new people here as well definitely was the icing on the cake

Unser Zimmer war im japanischen Stil. Futons mussten tagsüber verstaut und abends wieder aufgebaut werden. Der Onsen war sehr schön mit innen und Außenbecken, welches täglich gewechselt hat für Frauen und Männer.

Anreise mit Gepäck ist etwas beschwerlich. Man muß den Bus nehmen. Aber wir wurden vom Hotel darauf hingewiesen. Deshalb ist es in Ordnung.

Estaba muy limpio y cuidadas las instalaciones. El personal te ayuda con las dudas. Las zonas comunes. Los onsen también estaban muy bien, especialmente el que estaba al aire libre.

A tener en cuenta la ubicación. Desde Estación de autobuses para llegar, hay que coger taxi o autobús.

有温泉，宁静的住宿，房间干净。有电梯。员工友善会讲英语。感谢 Ms Kazuko 的友善接待。还未到工作时间还帮我打电话叫 taxi . 住宿方也会提前温馨提示来入住最好搭车，因为都是上坡路。

要到住宿都是非常斜的上坡路，带行李和带长辈一定要搭车。

I don’t like the mix gender in a room. I dont like the smell of the room when mix with gender. Hope when i stay in your hostel it will be seperated. For a couple it will work but for a solo traveller like me i dont like it. The smell of the room when mix in male is so of full.

I loved everything. It was immaculately clean, and everything was well designed and efficient, like the little safe built into the shelf space in my bed, pristine quality white linens, very functional kitchen with free tea, and really beautiful spacious common areas with comfortable couches and chairs, and lovely balcony with a view. Th gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful. Both indoor and outdoor onsens were gorgeous.

This may have been one of the prettiest hostels I have ever stayed at. The common area is underused (at least, when I was there) but worth spending some time there and taking it all in. Loved the private onsen. The overall experience felt more like a luxury stay than a hostel. My daughter and I shared a double bed in a shared space. We had lots of privacy. Our room had its own door key entry and each bed has a place to lock up valuables. We stayed at three different K’s House hostels while in Japan and all were clean with nice common areas. Would recommend staying here!

Le rapport qualité prix est super, sûrement une des meilleurs Guest House que j’ai fais au Japon au niveau des équipements, deux onsen super bien aménagé. Le personnel est à votre écoute et accueillent spécialement le jeune homme avec des lunettes avec qui nous sommes sorti manger 👌 L’espace commun invite vraiment à faire des rencontres avec les autres occupant et ils ont des guest house dans tout le pays.

Le personnel est très accueillant et gentil, l'hébergement est très bien équipé et il est agréable de rester se détendre dans le salon ou l'onsen de l'hôtel. J'ai apprécié pouvoir prendre mon repas sur la terrasse et me reposer sous le kotatsu.
