Room was cold. TV reception not great. Would be great if we didn’t have to switch the geyser on and off and if there had been a coffee machne. But these are suggestions for improvement rather than outright negatives.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2025This property is in a very beautiful, safe, tranquil and quiet guest house in Durbanville and it has a beautiful garden, including a fish pond, and beautiful fresh flowers! The owners have great customer services and they are always ready to help and go out of their way to assist and to make your stay great. My son and partner loved the facility and it was our home away from home. I would definitely go and stay there again, when I am in Cape Town again!
My initial parking was quite small for my sedan car, but the next day they were able to switch my parking to a larger parking bay. Which definitely made it a lot easier to go in and out. Lastly, in addition to the pond, a nice little pool or hot tub outside would be great to soak up the beautiful Cape Town sun. Thanks Ian and Co. for your beautiful guest unit, we really felt like VIP's and I would definitely recommend a stay at your place, as it is also great value for money!!!

The room that we stayed in was clean and spacious and it had everything you need. The lush garden is perfect for an early breakfast or a glass is wine in the evening. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a place to stay in Durbanville and want great value for money!

The location is perfect, close to Durbanville center and the wine valley with all the nice spots to do wine tastings and eat and hang out with friends. Yet in a very calm and quiet area. The flat was very spacious and clean and it had everything you need. we also liked that we had our own corner in the garden with a braai and furniture outside. Safe parking for our rental was just outside our door. Ian is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We really recommend this place, you can’t get more value for the money that it cost! we will definitely return to Ian’s place:)
