Location and service
The bathrooms have no proper doors and locks, a bit disconcerting.
Absolument tout !!!
Absolument rien !
A true first class hotel, the values its guests. Everything at this hotel, big and small, and every interaction with the staff, reflects great care, pride and attention. They make you feel valued and cared for from the moment you walk in to when you check out. The manager took the time to give us a detailed "tour" of the all of the rooms features and tech. The room was modern and classic at the same time, and truly luxurious. The breakfast (which starts with a tower of pastries, treats, and juices) was both delicious and beautiful. The piano bar was amazing. And even the pool and fitness room was a cut above. And the location could not be better. I very highly recommend this hotel, and would love to come back.
Beautiful facilities and friendly and helpful staff, who made your stay feel luxurious and special.
PC in concierge provide excellent service and made sure all our needs we taken care of.
We dropped in here late afternoon, midweek i.e. a quiet time, for a drink: tea / pint. Service was excellent, notably so. Staff very friendly too. Memorable.
Stunning and well placed hotel in Kilarney. The service and accommodations were among the best I have ever been. The rooms were well appointed and immaculately clean. It was a quick walk to town.
We stayed over the third weekend of June and loved the property, the rooms, the service, and the beautiful breakfast restaurant. The concierge PC went out of his way to help me with some bookings I needed to change. He personally reached out to one of his contacts and was able to help us as needed, but more importantly, he followed up with us before and after to ensure everything went well. Thank you very much PC; you really surprised us and showed a desire to serve and assist us. You must certainly love what you do, and it shows. We look forward to our next trip.
The hotel is itself is phenomenal. I have stayed at some of the nicest hotels in Ireland and this has been the best. The recent remodeling is impeccable and the service is excellent. I could not give it a higher recommendation.
We (my husband and I, my daughter and her husband and 2 year old toddler, and my second daughter) checked into the Killarney Park Hotel on 6/27/26 for two nights. This is a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. I had reached out to the hotel for accommodations, and the concierge got in touch with me immediately, made sure we had perfect accommodations for traveling with a toddler. They sent emails after booking to see if we needed any recommendations for sight seeing. The beds were fabulous, and they have great air conditioning. Wonderful breakfast, food was very good, with a spectacular breakfast. The bartenders were really top notch. The hotel is extremely clean, everyone from the waitstaff to the doormen were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Killarney.
This was a fantastic trip and it is all due to the Killarney Park Hotel. After I booked the hotel I emailed the concierge and asked if they could arrange a driver and guide for me that has knowledge of the area in the 1960s/1970s, as I am writing a book set in that period. Padraig Casey aka PC, head concierge, came up with a plan very quickly and it was exactly what I wanted. His staff that I saw daily (Tim, Colin, Declan and Sean) were fabulous, friendly, helpful and all with a great sense of humour. The excellence of the hotel did not stop at the front door. The managers Ciaran and Stephen were always around making sure that everything was perfect. I dined in both restaurants and the food was excellent. My room was lovely and spacious, and overall the hotel decor is pleasing to the eye. The only thing I didnt do because I didn’t have time was go to the spa. So if you want a 5 star hotel, but one that is not pretentious go here.
Staff were so good, room was excellent, Killarney was brilliant
If Armagh had of beaten Kerry in the football 🤣
In hospitality, the guest experience is shaped by a series of small but important moments — the points at which visitors form their impression of a hotel’s service, quality and overall standard. The guest-facing team at the hotel clearly understand this. Thanks are due to them and, in particular, to Suzi O’Gorman for the care and attention they showed throughout our stay. It was disappointing, therefore, that those efforts were undermined by a number of systemic weaknesses that one simply would not expect in a five-star hotel. I have written to the hotel separately to set out these concerns in more detail.
A nice hotel but the experience was destroyed by our experience yesterday (10th) morning. My partner woke up early and asked the housekeeper in the hallway for some fresh towels and not to clean our room and that I was still sleeping (he said she didn't seem to have great English so it's possible she didn't understand that he told her not to clean the room He left and I woke up at 10am and saw that his bed (we had a twin room) had been made up. I thought it was weird cause he usually wouldn't make up his bed but I brushed it off. Then I noticed that a tissue box that was previously in the bathroom (I had moved it to my bedside table) had been put back in its original place. I looked around and the bin had been emptied and there were a bunch of new towels folded neatly. I feel like I'm going crazy because surely there's no way a cleaner would clean a room with a guest literally inside SLEEPING, but there's literally no other explanation. My partner thought this was really freaky, as do I. It's possible she maybe didn't see me at first but she moved the tissue box that was literally right by my head... I have no idea what to think of this and I didn’t really want to complain as the receptionist is quite a nasty lady herself when we checked in preferring to chat with the other receptionist instead of checking us in . Especially if she didn't understand what he said or maybe misunderstood and thought he'd asked her to clean the room? The privacy please sign was also on the door. I'm honestly not sure what to make of this so called five star hotel, wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!
The Killarney park is excellent. The staff were more than helpful prior to arrival and all were wonderfully welcoming when we got there. They all represented the hotel so well and the whole team do this venue a great service. The hotel was immaculately clean and the attention to detail makes this place special. The food and drinks selection is extensive and we enjoyed all of our meals there. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day to walk around the town or head off and enjoy the tourist attractions (of which there are many and the staffs’ knowledge of all of these was impressive). The pool and spa facilities were great to finish off the day, and for us, made our trip even more enjoyable.
On one of the sunny days we wanted to sit outside and their outside area isn’t as good as the hotel inside. Possibly some more comfortable outside seats/tables would be ideal. Still loved the place.
What a fabulous hotel!! We stayed with rewards from the Leading Hotels of the World. So glad to have come across it through LHW when looking for a stay in Killarney. From the valets to desk check-in to bar staff to room care, everything here is top notch. The rooms are beautiful! We had a third floor overlooking the park. So serene. The rooms are very updated, electronic everything. The bathrooms are huge and perfectly equipped. We even received a personal note and delicious pastry on arrival. A glitch in the circuits for our mini bar was promptly attended to and compensated with a whiskey in the bar while they resolved it. We only wished we had booked for dinner in the hotel, as we didn’t want to leave the premises. What a beautiful property! We’d be back in a minute if we weren’t an ocean away. One tip though: when they ask before arrival for your room preferences, choose carefully. The “soft” beds are really soft! I prefer a firmer bed with a soft topper. My mistake. The pillows were perfect!
Every thing
Nothing
Wonderful location, stellar service, and comfortable luxurious rooms.
We had a magical stay for five nights at this gorgeous property on the edge of the great national park.Every detail was attended to with warmth and style, and our sincere compliments in particular to Chief Concierge Padraig Casey and his skilled team, who guided us through walks, coastal drives, unique dining spots and finally to Cork ! We will return ...
Exceptional in every aspect. Now that I’ve had a few days to marinate I can confidently say this has been a top 3 experience for us traveling abroad. The staff, food, drinks, service was nothing short of fantastic. It has set the bar for every other hotel from here on out. Sláinte.
Our stay at the Killarney Park was an unforgettable one with many precious memories made for a lifetime. From the moment we arrived, we received Céad Míle Fáilte from Declan and Maria and felt right at home. The hotel is wonderful, but the staff felt like family and made the stay so special. The room was perfect and so comfortable. The food was excellent, and the service was 5 star. The leisure centre and spa are top class, as again are the staff. Every need was catered to, and I highly recommend a stay here. We will be back. Thank you all so much.
Beautiful hotel, service was excellent, room was amazing, staff very friendly
La chambre, les équipes juste tres à l'écoute, les attentions, les services, l'espace piscine, le calme
This is a stunning hotel. The public areas look like they are out of the best hunting lodge. The rooms are furnished in extraordinary style from murals on all the walls, to beautiful light fixtures, to beds that are so comfortable. The people who staff the hotel are friendly and helpful. They greet each guest and they offer to help in any way needed. The food at the Garden Room is well prepared and beautifully served. They ever have a piano player who plays some older, familiar tunes without overwhelming the room. There was nothing that was missing from this stay. It is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff!
Worth every penny. Everything about it was beautiful. The staff was top notch, kind, attentive to every detail. Our room was spotless. The bath was gorgeous. It practically ruined us for other hotels on our multi stop trip as each other one was compared to this one and fell short!
The Killarney Park was, without question, the highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, something just felt different. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what makes this place extraordinary is the people. We felt genuinely welcomed in a way that is rare. This hotel is not polished for the sake of appearances, nor is it transactional...just real, warm, and deeply thoughtful. It felt effortless, and more importantly, it felt like home. Padrig, "PC," was exceptional. He has a way of understanding what you need without you having to explain it. From the start of booking the trip months in advace, PC was available with the most detailed and genuine recommendations that went far beyond our stay at Killarney. Nothing felt scripted or templated. He paid close attention to our family, especially traveling with two young boys, and guided us in a way that made everything feel simple and natural. There was never a sense of over-planning or stress. Everything just worked, and it allowed us to actually enjoy our time together. Suzi was equally wonderful. Every interaction with her felt genuine and intentional. She is the kind of person who makes you feel like your experience truly matters. Adrian, Brian, and the entire team carried that same spirit. What stood out most was the consistency. Every person we encountered was kind, present, and welcoming. And the way they treated our boys meant more to us than anything else. As someone who travels frequently, what made Killarney Park so special is the balance it strikes. It delivers a truly high-end experience without ever feeling formal or stiff. The hospitality is down to earth, personal, and incredibly comfortable. That combination is rare, and they execute it flawlessly. We came into this trip fully expecting another well-known castle stay, one that travelers and locals alike consistently describe as magical, to be the highlight. Even members of the Killarney Park team spoke highly of it. But coming directly from Killarney Park, our perspective had shifted. The standard of hospitality we had just experienced was so high, so intuitive and genuinely human, that it changed what we now look for entirely. I will not call anything out directly, but I will say this. Within a very short time of arriving, all four of us looked at each other and said we missed Killarney Park. Our kids asked if we could go back. That moment said more than anything else could. If you are deciding where to stay, this is it. What makes it special goes far beyond how it looks. It is how it feels when you are there, and how it stays with you after you leave. We will absolutely be back.
It was very nice and had everything you needed. The pool and leisure facilities were great. The rooms very comfortable and all the hotel spaces such as the Library and various lounges were ideal for relaxing and well set out. We ate in the bar which was very good. We were a family of 4 adults and it was perfect for us. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The nice touch of putting a bookmark in my bedside novel was very much appreciated. The hotel library was excellent.
Nothing!
Killarney Park, you have set the bar. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and every staff interaction felt effortlessly professional and authentically warm. This is what five-star hospitality is supposed to feel like. The atmosphere wraps around you and makes leaving feel like a small heartbreak. The beds were among the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and the bathrooms were beautifully designed. We didn't want to leave — we half-seriously discussed moving in. A special mention to Noreen in the restaurant and Veronica at the front desk — both were absolute highlights who embodied everything that makes this hotel exceptional.
We had about a 10-day tour around the southern part of Ireland as a small vacation. In the trip, we stayed at the Glenlo Abbey in Galway (2 nights), the Dingle Benners in Dingle (2 nights), The Killarney Park (3 nights), and finished at the Anantara The Marker in Dublin (2 nights). That is to put this review in perspective, because the Killarney Park was a standout here. Some additional context - we took a trip with my wife's parents to France just a few months ago and stayed a couple nights at the Waldorf Astoria in Versailles...the Killarney Park was honestly still at the top of the list! We did book this through the American Express "Fine Hotels and Resorts" program, and were lucky enough to get both the early check-in and a room upgrade - it was amazing! Our room was absolutely fantastic, as was the rest of the property. However, the real standout was the staff - all of them - but I need to call out the concierge staff in particular who were simply outstanding! I would also call out one individual, known as "PC", the head concierge - he is simply a master of his craft, and went out of his way to make sure the activities we had planned for the entire trip were suited to our expectations, including a recommendation for the Gap of Dunloe, which was not even on our radar! (It is not to be missed, either!) The true testament was his assistance on our travel from Killarney to Dublin for the final leg of our trip. The protests had shut down some access to major routes into Dublin, and PC helped us with a detailed plan, avoiding known backups and giving us tips on real-time sites to watch for updates. He actually called us a couple hours into our trip, after we had checked out and left, to make sure we were ok, and recommended a small change to our route because he had been monitoring the situation and noticed an update that impacted our original route! That is service just above and beyond expectation, and I think we can honestly say that was the overall memory we were left with from the Killarney Park!
Alles was perfect!! Ze krijgen 6 sterren. Echt een familiebedrijf. Absolute klasse. Aandacht en perfectie in topvorm.
Helemaal niets op te merken.
The service is unmatched. Personal experience for each.
Great location Friendly staff Made you feel welcome
-
Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Vom Check-In, Comfort in den Zimmern, Spa & Pool, Frühstück, Bar und Restaurant. Rund um sehr gut.
Stayed at the Killarney Park Hoel on 27th of March and cannot recommend it enough. The moment you drive up to the front door you are greeted with a relaxed, friendly welcome. Your car is taken away and you are scooped into the warmth inside. No carrying luggage, which magically appears in your room without you being made feel that you are being precious, similar treatment upon departure, conceirge staff were a pleasure. Rooms are spotless and finished to the highest standards, with lovely complementary treats in store. The gym was very well equipped and the pool area with sauna and steam room were quite the nicest I have been in for a long time. Again, lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you wthout being sycophantic. The bar was busy with a lovely vibe and mix of people, live piano music, expert mixologist for the perfect cocktail and really helpful and affable staff. As a vegetarian, the options on the menu, both bar and fine dining, were the usual suspects so we ate at an award winning Asian restaurant only a minute's walk away for the hotel, which despite the feeling of privacy and quietude is bang in the centre of Killarney, We returned to the bar after dinner for another few cocktails and my only quibble was that staff began vacuuming whilst customers were still there, and it wasn't that late, we weren't the stragglers! Notwithstanding this very small negative, would stay here again without hesitation. Again, a small thing and more of a piece of advice for the hotel, as someone who stays regularly in Killarney, the display of art collections in some of the great hotels there really transform the public areas into something quite special and I felt that the over-use of historical prints throughout the Park gave it a rather corporate, dull feel. Nonetheless, was truly a five star experience.
This hotel certainly lives up to its 5 star rating. From the moment your enter the gates until you leave the staff go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure you have a memorable visit. The refurbished rooms are stunning , the breakfast so fresh in every way delicious and the food in pereguine restaurant absolutely Michelin quality in every way. All the staff i met were a credit to themselves and truely had the guest experience top of their agenda. The location is perfect for wandering around the beautiful Killarney or Killarney National Park which is only a two minute walk away. Will definetely be back. This hotel is well worth a visit.
A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Thank you for an amazing stay celebrating a special birthday.
Nothing we had a perfect stay.
We enjoyed a true 5 star experience. The facilities are beautiful and the staff were very (emphasis on the “very”) attentive to all of our needs. If traveling to Killarney, choose this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel Its our first time Staying here , we got a great deal , the Hotel just got a refurb , looks Fabolous , well done :-) Room , Food and breakfast 10/10
Overall it was brilliant

We had an absolutely wonderful 5 star experience at the Killarney Park Hotel. Every single member of staff we met was extremely friendly and helpful. Service was exceptional throughout our stay. Our room was absolutely spectacular. Food was excellent - we ate in the main restaurant one night and the bar on another night. Would highly recommend
The experience from the start to finished with meeting the gentleman at the front door who parked or car to the staff at the hotel nothing was a problem
Stay was to short
We were fortunate to stay in the Killarney Park for two nights in March. This hotel is in the centre of Killarney so close to everything. The welcome was fantastic, from the porters at the front to the staff on the desk. The manager also came out to greet us which we felt was particularly impressive. Norma on the front desk really stood out. Like every member of staff at the Park, she was so helpful and friendly. She also was perfectly professional and ensured that all our needs were effectively and efficiently catered for! We loved our room - a beautifully appointed family room as we stayed with our daughter. It was slightly difficult to work the heating but the night manager Radimer was extremely helpful and this was sorted quickly. Staff at breakfast and in the garden bar were also excellent. We wanted to mention Dora in particular as she very personable and professional. She really looked after us and took the time to make sure we were happy with everything. We all felt the pancakes were the best we have ever tasted and we have tasted many! We also wanted to mention the pool. My husband and daughter used the pool and the pool manager /attendant kept the pool and changing areas immaculate. He worked so hard to keep the poolsides dry and frequently attended to towels etc. Unfortunately we can’t recall his name. We would score the Killarney Park 4.5 out of 5 but there was no half option. The only reason for the slight reduction in score was our dinner in the main restaurant. There were a number of issues with the dinner and we felt the food was not on par with the rest of the experience from quality to service. Overall we would definitely return however and would highly recommend this hotel.
My wife and I had a magical experience at the Killarney Park Hotel, the overall Servive from the spa, concierge, the bar, to the doormen was fantastic! I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone!!!
My daughter and I spent two nights here. The staff is wonderful - one person more lovely than the next. Breakfast was the best we had while traveling in Ireland. The rooms are newly renovated. There is not a detail overlooked. The concierge was able to get us dinner reservations that I was unable to get myself. Breakfast to go was ready at 350am, our departure time for the airport. Highly recommend.
I can’t describe how amazing this hotel was! We travel all the time and I never leave reviews. From start to finish it was amazing. 5 star requires a lot and attention to detail and they have it! After this hotel, we have gone to other 5 star hotels all throughout Ireland and compare all and they end up coming up short. Please do yourself a favor and make a point to visit here when you visit Ireland!
This hotel is fabulous

The Killarney Park Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff is incredibly friendly and they make you feel like family. Declan, Tim and CP the door provided amazing recommendations which did not disappoint. Each day they asked what we were planning to do and made great recommendations for our itinerary. They changed our mind from Ring of Kerry to Dingle Peninsula because it was a bit shorter and just as nice. That day was amazing! What a great recommendation. Heading out to Galway after checkout, they gave us all the great spots to hit. Cliffs of Killkee are better than Cliffs of Moher. We would have missed them if it weren’t for the staff. As for the rooms, service and general attitude, they pampered us in style. We will be back. Thank you KPH!!!!!
There is a rare level of consistency at The Killarney Park Hotel that is hard to find elsewhere. Having just completed our fifth stay, my wife and I were once again reminded why this remains our first choice in Killarney. From the effortless check-in to the moment we departed, the experience was characterized by a genuine sense of care and professional warmth from every member of the staff. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, striking that fine balance between high-end elegance and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spotless and impressively quiet, featuring a stunning bathroom with an excellent shower, details that make all the difference. Even the leisure club stands out for its comfort; it is a well maintained space and, crucially, nicely heated. Whether it was the exceptional quality of the room service or the relaxed, vibrant atmosphere of the bar, every element of the stay felt polished. Its central location is the final piece of the puzzle, putting everything Killarney has to offer right at your doorstep while maintaining a sense of sanctuary inside. It was an amazing stay from start to finish. Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful experience, we are already looking forward to our next visit.
We did a 2 hour horseback riding tour through the park that was absolutely beautiful and amazing. The deer were in full rut so we were able to see hundreds of Red Der and Sika Deer. We also did a walk through the park to Ross Castle from the city center and back which was relaxing and peaceful. Would 100% recommend and we already are booked to go back and revisit May of 2026!
The hotel is remarkable in every aspect. Wonderful architecture, elegant, comfortable and amazing staff.
Everything was great.
Everything was excellent from the minute we arrived. The people, the hotel, the room, the food. Only good to say.
Nothing could be better. The weather was even good!
Myself and my wife had a wonderful stay in the hotel. From start to finish this was a superb experience. Hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was amazing. Special thanks to PC who made the stay that extra special. Staff were friendly and courteous and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and met Declan and checked in. The location is perfect with only a short walk to the center of Killarney. The food in the bar was amazing with the piano playing giving it a great atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was top class also. The newly decorated rooms and Bar were fantastic. Overall i would have to say this was the nicest hotel we have stayed in with the service and quality being 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back. Derrick
My husband and I spent three fantastic nights staying at The Killarney Park while exploring Ireland for the month of September. We stayed in room 270 which is a garden suite. The room was spacious. Everything in the room was perfection. There was artwork everywhere in our room. All of the furniture was very clean and very comfortable. This room has two balconies. The first balcony has a table and two chairs and overlooks the gardens. The second balcony is on a rooftop, but the views are still spectacular especially at night watching the stars. When we arrived in our room, we were given a delicious dessert and a bowl full of fruit. The refrigerator had several drinks and snacks all of which were included. Our bedroom since it was a suite was in a separate room. The bed was very comfortable. The design of the bedroom was stunning. Make sure you check out my pictures for more details. The bathroom was quite large with a separate tub and shower. There was also a heated towel rack. Everything was in pristine working order. There is plenty of space for storage and plenty of drawers to place your clothes. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the small balcony. You overlook the gardens. One the roof tops is completely covered in heather. The color of the heather would change throughout the day so I enjoyed taking numerous pictures. The room is very quiet. Every employee that we encountered was extremely helpful. We did dine at several of the restaurants and breakfast was included every morning. I will be doing separate reviews of all of our food and dining experiences. Breakfast here is truly an experience. We would especially like to thank Norma & Cody at the front desk for assisting us in all of our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with Dora at breakfast every morning. Brian and Adrian at the bar were also very friendly and welcoming. The guys out front were always ready to assist with directions or questions. The hotel is stunning. There is so much to see & do. The hotels grounds are gorgeous . I realize that this hotel is slightly more expensive than other ones in Killarney but with the perfection, it is definitely worth the expense. Some people say it’s just a place to sleep, but for my husband & I it is the experience. We were definitely made to feel like family & we can’t wait to stay here again. We are extremely grateful to have stayed at the Killarney Park and I absolutely 100% would recommend staying at this fine establishment. You are within walking distance to many sites, shops & restaurants.
great location easily walkable to town center. beautiful hotel with its library and billiard room and excellent service. plenty of room for 3 people and really appreciated the small thoughtful details. wonderful breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend and will be back.
The newly refurbished hotel has to be seen to be believed. Luxury personified. This applies not only to the decor but to the menus, the food served, the variety. But the most impressive of all are the staff. From the friendly, helpful, knowledgeable doormen right through reception, bars, restaurants, housekeeping staff....lots of them young but so well trained, personable, pleasant. What an experience.
Another fantastic stay at The Killarney Park. The room upgrades are excellent. A massive well done to all involved. As usual everyone was so lovely during my stay, it really is a home away from home. Special mention to Norma who checked me in and could not possibly have been more welcoming and friendly. Also thank you to Macieka in the bar who always has a nice welcome and chat. Well done everyone, the standards maintained are exceptional.
Good location. Nice rooms. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Good food. Always a pleasure to return here.
Some the new renovations
Fabulously new renovated, very high end finish. Well appointed room with very professional staff

An absolutely amazing breakfast experience! Ideally located in the heart of Killarney. The variety and quality of the food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes to suit every taste. What truly made the morning special was the staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their professionalism and friendly attitude reflected the high standards you expect from a five-star hotel. A perfect start to the day and a truly memorable experience.
What a magical stay we has at the killarney park. It truely lives up to its 5 star rating. I cannot fault this hotel in any way it was perfection. The service is top class, everyone was so friensly, professional and attentive in all departments be it reception, spa, garden bar, breakfast, the doormen. All outstanding. Our room was beautitul and spotless. The hotel was decorated so well for Christmas also. Its a hotel we didnt even want to leave. Its such a nice atmosphere we wanted to stay there and not go out during our stay. Really do feel the pricepoint is right too and its good value for money for the experiencw you get. We also brought our 3 month old baby who was really looked after also. We cant wait to return. Up there with one of my favourite hotels ive stayed at ❤️
This is the perfect hotel to stay in for a visit to Killarney. It is a 3-minute walk into the main street which is full of great pubs and restaurants. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, with beautiful ensuites attached. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made an effort to chat with us whenever we seen them and ensured we were not wanting for anything. The two hotel restaurants are lovely, the food is excellent and there is a great selection on the menus at both. The steaks in the Peregrine were 10/10. The pool area was very relaxing, chilling there is a great way to spend an hour or two. I also proposed to my girlfriend in the library of the hotel, Clare from guest relations went above and beyond to help me organise it all, she was brilliant and the moment turned out better than i imagined. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough if other people were considering proposing down in Killarney and looking for a space to do it in. All in all, we had a wonderful few days, made even better by choosing this hotel as our accommodation. We will absolutely be back in the near future to relive the memories we created here.
The finish is exceptional
I thought it was a country estate … silly me
Lovely Christmas decorations and the staff were very helpful
No complaints
We have been going to Killarney Park hotel for years and it never fails to impress. It is a lovely hotel, the minute we walk in we can feel ourselves relaxing. There is a lovely atmosphere with all the fires lighting which just adds to the coziness. The staff are fabulous, very friendly and helpful, everyone makes you feel very welcome. The food is lovely and compliments to the pastry chef for all the lovely pastries at breakfast time. Loved the renovations ,and the Christmas decorations are fabulous as always. The pool is so relaxing. Can’t fault the Killarney Park. It is our go to hotel . Many thanks to all the staff for an exceptional job always.
Great location right in town but you also felt quiet and secluded

Beautiful hotel. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Excellent service. Great location. Beautiful christmas decorations. Really special place.
We had a lovely stay at The Killarney Park Hotel. We stayed as a family of 4. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The rooms are excellent. The staff are fantastic. Breakfast and dinner were great. We had a lovely time swimming in the indoor heated pool (with spa facilities). The location is perfect with a host of bars and restaurants within walking distance. A really excellent hotel. All details are thought of and catered for. I recommend a run in the National Park. We will definitely be back.
Beautifully decorated, all amenities and rooms clean, staff were attentive and helpful, food was gorgeous and the whole experience was 10/10
Nothing, everything was perfect
What a wonderful unexpected treat we had on a cold wet November day! Wandered in for lunch and were immediately welcomed by Brian at the Garden Restaurant. From start to finish this was a superb experience. Hotel was beautifully decorated and festive, staff were warm and attentive, and the food was top-class. Our initial disappointment at hearing a certain item was not on the menu was relieved when the chef agreed to accommodate us. This was critical to overseas travelers intent on tasting this dish. Staff were friendly and courteous and made it a memorable day. Special thanks to all, including Brian, Noreen and others whose names we did not have the chance to learn. 10 out of 10!
It started with the gentlemen that greeted us at the door to take our luggage, they started the wow factor. The ladies at front of house couldn't have been sweeter. We had the privilege of staying in house for a few nights so we were lucky enough to sample most of the hotel. Sure the room was just at a standard that I can only imagine is near impossible achieve, it's completely brand new in a way and with this, they are achieving this absolute impeccable standard. All staff we met were super lovely. Some notable people who made our stay extra special were Evelyn, Abbey, Amondene and the lovely Noreen.Noreen was quite busy one night in the bar but still made plenty of time to stop and talk and give us the lovely history on the family's mark on Killarney. It's the people like Noreen that make this hotel what it is, and thats a cut above the rest. Last but not least, Ciaràn, what an absolute gem.
My wife, my 9-year-old daughter, and I checked in to the Killarney Park Hotel earlier this month for a two-night stay and were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. Although it is not called such, our room would be a suite in almost any other hotel. It was spacious and clean. as well as beautifully decorated. But what makes this hotel special is the staff. At every turn there is a member of the staff greeting you and waiting for an opportunity to help when needed. They provided us recommendations, weather updates, and anything else you could think of. This hotel is hospitality at its best!!! The pride in service exhibited by this staff is unparalleled and I will forever recommend the Killarney Park Hotel to anyone I know is going to Ireland. In fact, we enjoyed our stay here so much that we cancelled the last portion of our road trip and then extended our vacation by three nights so that we could stay longer and continue to relax here. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. We will definitely return in the near future.

The girls from the office and I had the most wonderful stay at the Killarney Park Hotel. Our room was cosy, warm, comfortable, and spotlessly clean — it had everything we could have wished for and more. The leisure and spa facilities were fantastic. Our spa treatments were simply amazing — relaxing, luxurious, and delivered by the most professional and friendly staff. It was pure bliss from start to finish. It was also a glorious experience to sit in the outdoor heated pool while the rain gently poured down on our faces. Breakfast was second to none — truly a highlight of our stay. Every little detail, from start to finish, made our visit perfect. From our hearts, we say a huge thank you to all the staff for going above and beyond to make our stay so special. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’re already looking forward to returning very soon! Warmest thanks, The Girls from the Office In Tralee

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay ever last night in the Killarney Park Hotel. We arrived on our anniversary and we're so lucky to have our room upgraded to a gorgeous suite. The care and attention to detail for our arrival was so amazing. The room had beautiful Halloween bakery gifts and there was a delightful note from Claire welcoming us to the hotel and to enjoy our stay. The room was cosy, warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had everything we could have wished for and more. The leisure facilities are fantastic and it was a glorious experience sitting in the outdoor heated pool with the rain pouring down on our faces. We relaxed by the huge fire and enjoyed all the surrounding decoration. Breakfast was second to none and a highlight of our stay. Now to the staff.... From our hearts we say a huge thank you for all that you did for us above and beyond what was necessary to make our stay so special. We could not have asked for more. It was a lovely surprise at breakfast when Hiroki produced a beautiful plate decorated for our anniversary, with homemade treats. Every little detail made our stay so perfect. Thank you all so much and we'll be back as very soon.
The warmth & welcomes with gracious smiles bestowed on us. A birthday celebration for my sister. My Mum, Sister & I had the most amazing experience and celebrations. Magnificent Muckross Suite. 2 bedroomed, 3 bathroom. Sitting room. Every opulent comfort given. Beautiful toiletries, water, teas, coffees, biscuits. Birthday treats from Clare for her birthday. My Sister was in awe of the generosity and said. Irish welcomes with the most amazing team . The beds were like sleeping on clouds. The food in The Garden Bar fab. Gorgeous lunch. Ambience fantastic. Beautifully appointed hotel. Within few minutes walking distance to mainstream Killarney. Ideally situated indeed. It was so wonderful that I returned with my Husband for a 3 night stay.. One simply could not fault The Killarney Park Hotel as it so lives up to its 5 star name. Well done the team. Thank you Clare.
No complaints. Amazing hotel.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! We absolutely loved this hotel — we only wish we had planned a longer stay! LOCATION – EXCELLENT. Perfectly situated in the town center, right across the street from the National Park — truly the best of both worlds. ROOM – LOVE LOVE LOVE. Beautifully and elegantly decorated, combining modern boutique style with great functionality. We were lucky to stay in one of the suites, which had a separate room — perfect for working without disturbing each other, or for one to watch TV while the other works in peace. The bed was incredibly comfortable (and I’m the kind of person who usually brings my own pillow when traveling!). Despite being in the town center, the rooms were wonderfully quiet at night. SERVICE – EXCELLENT. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel is clearly run with five-star standards. A special shout-out to Maria at the Front Desk — her warmth and helpfulness made our stay feel extra special. FOOD – EXCELLENT. We tried the bar, breakfast, and dinner — all were outstanding, both in quality and service. We will definitely stay at The Killarney Park again when we visit the area. It’s a truly special place!
