The room was nice and the bathroom was fairly clean, lots of space for clothes and the bed was firm but comfy.

There was no kitchen for any kind of food just a kettle in the room and a bar for drinks

Comfortable bed.

Shabby decor, main corridor in hotel leaking after rainfall, rusty pipework in bedroom, no breakfast provided. "Fawlty Towers" springs to mind.

Receptionist was exceptionally helpful.

Bed springs on the mattress were really bad. Had to sleep on top of the quilt. Pillows very thin. Very Poor nights sleep.

It was a nice off town location. Very quiiet.

The rooms and bathrooms should be upgraded if ghey continue the charges.

The lady at reception was extremely pleasant and immediately upgraded us to a better room. But the hotel was virtually empty, so I guess that was a good idea. There was a bar, which was also run by the lady on reception. The location of the hotel was quiet - up a longish drive - and handy for the A303.

There was no food available, including no breakfast. The shower over the bath was very difficult to operate, and in the end we gave up.

The bedrooms were very tiny. The kettle was plugged in the tiniest wardrobe, I have ever seen and when boiled clothes got wet.

Excellent location for Thurxton Race Track, but could do with a revamp, starting to look a bit tired and dated in the rooms.

The location was excellent, the room was big and somewhat clean,tea and coffee were plenty in our room.

The most important thing was the mattress,it was just a cover and springs,0 comfort. I had to put the duvet on the mattress so I can go to sleep. No remote control for the TV, asked for one and the receptionist gave me one from another room which was not occupied. Definitely not booking again to stay there.

Location was as expected.

Room was dirty and had not been made up from the previous guests stay. Needed to change room as a result.

Shame that they don’t do any food, we would have had an evening meal and breakfast. Other people there said the same.

Location was excellent for Andover centre and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The Aircon was a Godsend.

The double bed was narrow and a bit of a tight squeeze for my wife and I.

The room 212 was spacious and clean.

The place is nice and the hotel is kind of in a forest, room was OK.

The smell inside the room was unbearable. The smell was like old urine, similar to a nightclub toilet. I couldn’t sleep half of the night because of the DISGUSTING pee smell that the room had inside the carpet.

Fan didn’t work (although the nice staff did replace quickly), air conditioning unit was there but didn’t work, bed was like concrete.

Beds were uncomfortable with wafer thin mattresses. Went during a heatwave but the air con was disconnected. There were seats next to the fire exits and loads of empty cider bottles kicking about

Clean nice room with refurbished bathroom. Air con unit but sadly didn’t work on a very hot night. Didn’t complain as most Uk hotel don’t have air con and I don’t have this at home!

The staff are very pleasant and helpful

The hotel has a restaurant, which is closed. There is no breakfast on offer and the town is approx 0.7 miles from the hotel. This is an inconvenience. The AC is broken throughout the hotel and each room is giving a fan as a replacement. The fan is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. This makes it uncomfortable and hard to sleep. The matress was very stained and requires replacing.

This is by far one of the worst stays to date. I paid £140 pounds for somewhere that shouldnt even be charging more then £30 a night. On arrival at 2am the staff had no clue about my reservations and had to make phonecalls to confirm. The car park was overcrowded with no where to park but an alternative car park which was far to walk and unlit. Room had no AC with a fan that could hardly blow. Window opened was very loud. Uninsulated walls meant U could hear snoring. Iron with no ironboard. Dirty bedding. Stained carpets. Spider in bathtub. Dusty chair and worktops. Absolutely disgusted and traumatised.

The location is good and the staff I met were friendly if ultimately unhelpful.

The weather was extremely hot and the air conditioning didn't work. Our room had a small window which could only be opened a few inches so the room was baking. We were told the air conditioning had been broken for weeks. We asked for a fan and were told one would be provided - however, it didn't turn up and we were told there wasn't one available. If we had known this we would have moved to another hotel.

I liked the quiet location. Our room looked as though it had only recently been renovated, so it was comfortable, clean and tidy.

I didn't like that after driving for most of a very hot day, we arrived to be told that the air conditioning had not been working for 3 weeks, and this was after I'd paid our money for two rooms. Was then told the website had been updated, which upon checking, it had not! Disappointing that there is no restaurant! That is no food serving of any kind. No breakfast, no restaurant dinner , no room service, no vending machine! And no fridge in the room either. Quite disappointing given the amount charged and we could have booked elsewhere with better facilities for the same amount. Would we stay again, Absolutely not! I don't like being taken advantage of or fibbed to. This stay was not what we booked having been mislead by the advertising.

To have a room with a bath was really appreciated during what was a very very hot week in Andover. The shower was also excellent in the morning - very powerful!

Unfortunately, the hotel no longer provides Breakfast. The last time I stayed the breakfast was excellent. There has been a change of ownership and the Hotel is no longer Best Western.

It was a good location

The air con was broken, in the heatwave this was quite horrible, they gave us a fan, which is fine but definitely didn’t cool us down, two very hot sleepless nights. Stains on the carpet, no fridge in room, seems like a tired run down hotel

The hotel is in a good location for breaking up a long journey.

When we arrived the receptionist was outside smoking a cigarette and when she came to the desk there was a strong smell of cigarettes about her. There is a connecting corridor between reception and the rooms, this had ants nests and the ants were swarming making it unpleasant to walk past. In the room there was a crack in the hand basin and the bed was soft which it felt more like soft from over use rather than a soft bed. The smoke detector was only fixed to the ceiling by the wire and not fixed. Overall the hotel was tired looking and in need of upgrading.
