Insufficient parking space

The property was newly renovated, and our room was very clean and well-maintained. The beds were super comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The location is ideal—everything was within easy walking distance to plenty of local stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

All was great and exceeded our expectations.

Notre chambre était petite mais bien décorée et propre. Les lits étaient confortables et bien que l'emplacement, derrière un centre commercial, ne soit pas ce qu'il y a de plus beau, c'était calme pour dormir. Bien que l'hôtel n'offre pas le petit-déjeuner sur place, le restaurant juste à côté offre de bons petits- déjeuner.

No elevator Bathroom door did not close properly You had to hold down the handle on the toilet to flush The blind in the room did not keep the sun out. So at 5:00am, it was getting light in the room The TV worked when it wanted. It was buffering a lot My phone barely worked in our room. Our view from our hotel room was looking at trees The air conditioner was extremely dirty It took about 3 minutes for the fan to turn on in the bathroom The outside flowers beds were in dire need of some TLC. They were full of sand?? From the winter?

Newly renovated, clean, excellent location, staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed there for two night and there were bunch of kids ding dong ditching on the doors at midnight. Pillows could be better .

The TV doesn’t work. I’ve stayed here multiple times and every time I’m in a room the TV never works.

The location and free parking were good. Wifi was okay. Though much of the parking lot was taken up my construction materials so I had to park in the electric car charging area.

The hotel was under construction which they didn’t tell me before arriving and it was 11pm when I got in, so too late to start looking around for an alternative. There were construction materials and large debris all over the stair and each hallway I had to walk down, even though there were only two construction workers working. Then they were tearing out the carpet outside my room door until at least 3am. It was really disruptive and walking through the hotel was dangerous. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed and I had to hold it shut while showering. It was also badly installed and water leaked under the door frame so I had to clean up the bathroom floor. My duvet didn’t have a cover and had a really bad BO smell, along with 3/5 of the pillows. I don’t think they washed them between guests. As a woman travelling alone, I didn’t feel comfortable walking back through the construction crew to the front desk to have them changed in the middle of the night. But the smells and sounds were horrible. The AC was insanely loud. I wish the hotel had been more transparent that I would be trying to sleep in a construction zone. The $200+ per night fee did not reflect the quality and cleanliness.

The staff on the phone was easy to talk to, helpful, and very accommodating. The staff on site was excellent, helpful and really friendly despite the renovation going on.

I would suggest cleaning the heater/AC unit in the room because the vents were very dusty.

Our GPS told us to turn into the out only. You have to turn into the Canadian tire plaza to get to the hotel from the main street out front

באנו לחתונה במקום קרוב למלון ומבחינה זו, היה לנו מאוד נוח. המלון היה בסדר, גם הצוות, אבל הכל היה מאוד פשוט ובסיסי. היה נקי. היינו 3 ימים ולא כל יום באו לסדר את החדר. זה לא נורא, אבל היה יכול להיות טוב יותר. אין תלונו ת, נתן מענה לצרכים אבל לא ניתן להגיד שזה היה מדהים.

המיטה הייתה רכה מידי, גם הכריות. הייתי קמה בבוקר עם כאבים בגוף. המצעים היו מאוד נקיים.

This is a new Comfort Inn that has been renovated from being the old Sleep Inn. Everything has been gutted and changed. The new clean smell is noticeable when you walk in the lobby doors. Although there is still work to do, i am sure that this hotel will be booked over and over. The price is right. It is conveniently located to walk for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a Keurig in your room and always available coffe in the lobby. The wifi is a bit weak but works. Ask for a breakfast coupon for the restaurant around the corner. Parking is plenty. I recommend this hotel.

Half the lights were working. There is no breakfast other tha. Muffins but we pay the same price as other comfort ins. We were put on second floor and I asked we could have first floor as my dad is 85 and they said this is what I had booked which isn’t true.

Found dirty cap on my nightstand.Didnt like big bottles of shampoo,conditioner and lotion for all to use same bottles.Turned the heat on in my room the smell was so bad like something burning i was choking had to shut it off...Theres No Place like home.

Somewhat awkward to get into , Parking tight. Very friendly staff and rooms were clean noisy at night due to presence of kids baseball tourney but we did not complain so that’s on us. Convenient location for our needs. Decent value in Muskoka high season

The property was well-located and very clean. Although there was some construction underway, it was not disruptive. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable.

There was no elevator, and while the building is only two floors, carrying a lot of luggage could be inconvenient. My room still had the older heating and air conditioning unit, which was quite loud. Fortunately, the weather was cool enough that I could turn it off.

Our room had ants, which was reported to front desk. The next morning the ants were back, house keeping said it was because we had food. But we ate out for the time we were there. And had no food on our arrival.

Under renovations the rooms are new

Modern, clean, comfortable room, but no soap in bathroom. The pillows were too soft. TV remote not set up to be as user friendly as it should.

Under renovations but room was remodelled, clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We found the hotel to be in a perfect location for us.

Outside of the renovations this is a nice place within walking distance of restaurants shops and stores. After the reno this will be a nice place

Beds and linens were comfortable

The fact that’s it’s in the middle of a Reno and that was left out of the booking info was extremely annoying. The property is surrounded by literal construction garbage piles

David and I would like to thank Rob the front desk supervisor for his kindness and understanding. We had to cancel due to a sudden mental health crisis in our family and he validated our feelings with his thoughtful words and diminished our guilt and discomfort of having to cancel last minute. It would be very special if some of the medical staff with whom we have dealt had the same presence of mind as Rob. It was terrible in every way. Under construction, dirty, no elevator, service was bad. They left the cream and milk out of fridge for entire day. ( extremely hot day in July) The milk and cream that guests have been using for breakfast in the morning. I feel like I waste my money. Not recommend at all.

I would recommend this place to others

The property is currently under renovations, which are hard to escape from the entrance to the halls to the stairwells, BUT when we got into our room it is already renovated, comfortable finishes and clean. We also didn't hear anything from our room.

I feel the renovations would have been better planned in spring or winter when the number of visitors is down. Or if they had planned them in zones so you wouldn't be overwhelmed by the mess as you made your way to your room. They were painting stairs railings in areas where we were trying to access the building, putting up wall paper in the halls and rooms directly across from ours were being fully gutted.

Good stay but area in and around hotel was messy because of construction but that was understandable. It was only a one night stay for us and I would not recommend a longer stay until renovations are completed.

Completely under construction. Found a razor blade on the floor inside our room, left from the carpet installers. There was plastic wrappers left on the floor in our room. The ceiling fan in the bathroom was leaking water.

Not ideal property conditions at the time, but seeing it’s going through renovation transition, it’s understandable. When completed it should be great!

So tv not working and staff cannot figure it out. Under construction and not posted on third party booking site. Construction material everywhere.I could go on but seems pointless.

The property was fully under construction. The parking lot was a mess with construction debris, cigarette butts, and coffee cups littered everywhere. The entrance to the hotel was full of construction materials. There there was no sign indicating that the hotel was even open. The hallways and stairwells were completely torn apart, and the smell of paint fumes in the hallway was nauseating. The room itself was lovely, newly renovated, with a very comfortable bed. There was no microwave in the room as advertised, and the fridge didn’t work very well. While, we did not expect our bed to be made or linens changed, we did expect a refresh of coffee and cups. This did not happen. The staff were kind, and helpful. This is considered an affordable/budget hotel, however, considering the amount of construction going on and the utter inconvenience of the entryway I would’ve expected a much better price for two nights accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel until all the construction is complete.

The property is being renovated, so lots of construction material inside and the smell of drywall mudding, etc. My room was renovated and excellent. I’m sure the next time I stay there, the property will be 5*

This hotel is under renovation but the newly renovated rooms are comfy and clean. Staff great.
