The staff were very friendly and willing to give a helping hand with our luggage up the stairs. And even offered to help bring it down for us.

The pool heater was not working so pool was cool as a little more than refreshing and the hot tub was broken down. When you come expecting these amenities working especially having our grandkids and the money we paid to stay I expected everything would be working.

Restaurant was not very accessible and closed at 9pm

C’était vraiment un hotel familial ! La piscine et le bowling un gros must . Le personel était courtoie . L’emplacement aussi , a moins de 5 minutes de plein d’activités et restaurants .

Si j’améliorerais quelque chose , ce serais que les tiroirs des bureaux de chambres sente vraiment mauvais . Je n’ai pas pue mettre mes vêtements a l’intérieur.

It was in a great location for what we were there for. Beautiful river view too, and We enjoyed using the hot tub and pool.

Getting to the pool was a little strange, going down the stairs, through the gym then back up a set of stairs into the pool area. Bathrooms do not have a fan so the can get foggy pretty quickly when showering

The hotel is old and run down. Our room smelled like mold. The door kept slamming shut which I feel like probably woke up everyone around us. For almost $300 a night in a musty mouldy room … is a bit wild. The pool was dirty and so was the hot tub. This place has huge potential but it was a definite miss and I would not go back.

There was a bit of confusion around breakfast hours, we were first told 7 - 8, 7 to 9, 8 -9, so we ended up missing the cheap breakfast which would have been great for a party of five on a limited budget.

The location was beautiful! The front desk staff was amazing! We forgot our granddaughters doll in our room and the hotel contacted us to inform us . Even though we were to far away to come back k for it. We appreciate that outstanding customer service!!

Our one bedsheets was stained and room was not cleaned after first night. We would have been happy if garbage were atleast emptied.

Room size was great! Room was clean aside from when we moved the table to use the pull out it was not sweeped underneath there was garbage and dust. Pool was great however not super clean there was a dirty bandaid in the pool along with used dirty socks on the side near one of the tables.

The pull out wasn’t super comfortable. Our first suite the room didn’t lock automatically and maintenance couldn’t figure out why. They did end up moving us to another suite with a functioning door which was great! But still worrisome that our first suite didn’t have a functioning door that didn’t shut or lock after closing.

Owners tried to set up a broken mirror and take our deposit because of age.

The pool was difficult to get to with all the stairs. Luckily we we on the first floor because partner would not of been able to climb the stairs.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are huge and clean and the service is great. Really good value for your money. I recommend it. Fyi There is a bowling alley downstairs, they have a swimming pool, a hot tub and a big beautiful restaurant

Pull out couch very uncomfortable. Difficult to sleep on.

I appreciated that they put our rooms close together beside each other, and one room actually had a pull out couch which an ex was an extra bonus for us because we had three in that room. Any requests we had from the staff were taken into consideration, and they were very thoughtful to meet our needs.

Pool was a bit dirty with clumps of hair and drains, Band-Aids, etc.

It was mentioned in my itinerary that breakfast was included, but when i reached the hotel, it was for $6 per guest at the hotel

Breakfast could have been included. And the hotel was pretty expensive for a quick dinner.

The first night was fine, and the room itself was acceptable

The stay was extremely disappointing and absolutely not worth the high price. There was a clear lack of staff, and no proper services available at all. Whenever I called reception for anything, the response was either “we don’t have it” or “you have to come to the reception to collect it yourself.” On the second day, I specifically went to the reception to ensure the room would be cleaned before my return — but it was not cleaned at all. When I complained, the receptionist gave an unprofessional and dismissive explanation, saying they only make sure the room is “suitable for stay” for the second night and that there was no housekeeping staff available. She promised to “look into it as a priority,” yet no one followed up for the rest of my stay. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and it was particularly disappointing for both myself and my children. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Well-maintained, clean facility with a friendly and helpful staff. Bowling was a joke back in 80th, though we were entertained for $ 40 :)

The cleanness , location is very close from downtown, and from Bracebridge falls. Also I love the river view.

The temperature of the indoor pool, was kind of cold.

Very nice rooms. Clean and comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was available at the adjacent restaurant- $5 for a 2 egg, ham, hash browns and toast. Amazing deal. Would definitely stay again.

Didn’t like that nothing was accessible for someone with a disability

Liked the coffee and tea provided. Staff friendly. Hot tub and pool clean One concern: bed seemed to be a double instead of queen size, as listed online.

The bed was good and the bed comfortable. The only issue is that there was no elevator and I had to carry my luggage up to the second floor.

They have a bowling alley. A gym and a pool. Also had 2 EV chargers

Restaurant wasn't great. Breakfast not as ordered and not great value

I’ve stayed at this hotel but not for 7 years, and frequent other QI locations. There was no bathroom fan leading to an extra humid room, the lock on ground floor window was completely busted, so easy to break in. The Northland bus stops here, and though they have a cigarette butt receptacle, they were littered on sidewalk in front of lobby. The sheets were 55/45 poly cotton blend. Yuck. To add to a not comfortable mattress, no foam topper, the polyester blend sheets made me sweat. Nice things were location, pet friendly, great staff and check in experience, plus the tea/coffee station in lobby.

In need of updates. No fan in the bathroom so there was a good amount of mould growing on the shower tiles. Hot tub jets do not work, it just a warm bath. The head boards were falling apart and the beds were uncomfortable, but the room was clean (minus the mould) and the staff at check-in were friendly. The location was good, close driving distance to many restaurants. Likely wouldn’t stay there again. Over priced for what you get.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to unforeseen circumstances so I didn’t get a chance to check it out. I loved the room. It was cozy and warm, and I loved the view of the water. I was a little bit disappointed, though that the grounds were kind of dirty with litter, and I wasn’t comfortable seating by the water.

Room was clean. mattress was not very good . they were soft and for people with back pain, it is not comfortable. I think because of the humidity, the property and the room smelled musty.

The restaurant view was lovely but the food was poor

Staff was nice. Property needs some updating and more amenities (filtered water, etc). Onsite restaurant is convenient but food and service could be better. Other food options are less convenient.

It was good experience

Great place for me and my dog

We stayed July 2025, dated hotel but well maintained and clean. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the bowling alley. Restaurant on site was a nice touch. When we checked in there was a very strong smell of cleaning solution in the room (like strawberry car cleaner) multiple staff were very helpful in trying to resolve the problem and eventually changed our room. We will be back next year for sure.

It was fine. The restaurant was nice, food was good. They have a $5 full breakfast which was nice.
