Needs up dating; especially the bathroom. The bed was too soft. Small room

Location was very good. A small refrigerator and microwave were nice to have.

Our bed was uncomfortable. We didn’t use the air conditioner as it was very loud. We saw a beetle and a centipede run under the bed.

The manager,Adam was so friendly,there was no problem with our reservation . The room was attended every day,relaxing,quiet,and central. We are going back!!! And…this is big……there is a telephone number so we can confirm reservation etc. 👏👏👏

Things very good….reserved again!!! Loved that our room was attended each day,towels,coffee etc. Nothing ripped,dirty,etc. We enjoyed our stay,we were on business and nice to come back and relax!!

The room was comfortable and a good size, and I especially liked the size of the beds. Having a mini fridge and a bathtub was also really convenient. I also really liked the little chairs placed outside the rooms—it was a nice touch and gave us somewhere to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Overall, there really wasn’t much I didn’t like. My only disappointment was the lack of flexibility around the 11:00 a.m. checkout time. An unexpected situation came up that morning, and I asked if we could have just an extra 30 minutes to leave. Unfortunately, the response wasn’t particularly kind or accommodating, even though we were out by about 11:35. I completely understand that rooms need to be cleaned, but I think a little flexibility in unexpected circumstances—especially until 12:00, which is a common checkout time at many hotels—would have made the experience much more positive.

Convenient location on the Main Street in town of Bracebridge makes it easy to commute by car, foot, bike or public transportation

The manager/ owner was extremely rude to me after I told him I was homeless and that was the only reason I was staying in this very dirty rundown hotel, he came out to yell at me multiple times telling me that I wasn’t allowed to take more of my bags and boxes of personal belongings into my paid hotel room that I stayed in for two consecutive nights because I simply had no choice with only a couple hundred dollars left on my account. I chose to spend it on this room at this hotel, which was OK because it allowed me to sleep in a bed instead of the back of my car which was physically impossible anyway anyways, because I had my entire life packed into the back of my SUV.. He then proceeded to yell at me the following day because I came out of my room with my dog, which was allowed to be there which I paid for her to be there, because I needed to get her leash from my car, which was parked directly outside of my room door, but he believed that I was walking around his parking lot without having her on a leash and yelled at me because it was a liability that she would be hit. I proceeded to explain that I can’t go anywhere without getting the leash from my car and I can’t leave her in the room unattended, which is why she was right by my side the entire time not near the road and she is a highly trained emotional support animal, so she doesn’t just simply run away from me or cause danger for any other pedestrian or driver passing by… overall he made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I will never recommend anyone to stay here even if you’re homeless. I’d rather sleep in a parking lot for further needs highly disappointed because I am a local person my whole life in Muskoka and I was still treated like this by this person who is not even from Muskoka.

The unit has bed bugs. I woke at 2am with 8 bites to my shoulder the size of strawberries and 5 on my forearm. Adam, the staff attendant, was dismissive and unhelpful. Not willing to inspect or help us. I had to beg for plastic bags to bag our items.

Needs updating. Old, smelly and the carpet had stains, stains on bedding. One room had no mirror other than a 24” in bathroom. No bureau. Too high priced for the facilities.

There was a large gap at the bottom of the door, the baseboards and the fan cover in the bathroom were disgusting , and there was a piece of styrofoam under the fridge. I can send pictures if they are needed.

Walk-in shower was nicer than a tub but no ledge or bracket inside to put anything down like your shampoo, soap or wash cloth etc. Toilet worked properly. White Towels, floor matt were clean. Location was excellent.

The cheap appearance, dirty exterior doors, frames etc. Strong smell of room deodorizer. Poor lighting. Cheap furnishings. Squeaky uncomfortable double bed and pillow. Tossed and turned all night. Hole in drywall from door knob. Shower leak near baseboard with damage to drywall. Cracked bathroom tile. Nothing pleasing about the room decor. Like a run down cheap motel thats In desperate need of repairs.

Payment and check in was easy. Room was outdated, but had everything you need. TV, microwave, air conditioner, mini fridge. Was able to park right in front of my room so loading and unloading was easy. Right in town, so easy to walk to sight see.

Furniture and decor was outdated, but clean. Could see daylight through the edge of the door, so safety was a bit of a concern.

Easy check-in, fridge was cold.

The $130/night was excessive . Floors were uneven, the room smelled odd, the shower was....interesting

3rd time staying here. Has the best valu compared to other motels in the area. Bonus, you're downtown and walking distance from lots of stores. Book store, movie theatre, patio shops, toy stores, coffee shops, a few restaurants, and much more!

Having a fridge and microwave in the room made it helpful as a base. It was brilliantly positioned for access to downtown Bracebridge as well as the busier parts of town.

The room was a bit basic but it was our first time in a motel so we didn't know what to expect. It was great for what we needed, though.

It was comfortable and close to everything. Staff was very friendly.

Bed sheets were dirty. Electricity was unstable and lightds on and off were dimming. Other guests were noisy. Smoke alarm was covered by a ziploc which had gone unnoticed by service staff.

Didn't stay. Room had a very strong cleaner smell like they were covering something up. Couldn't park in front of motel room and there were suspicious people wondering around. A/C worked great, grounds were well maintained. May have just been a time and place situation but I chose to drive home instead of staying.

It was everything we needed. Good price, comfy bed and clean room!

Could be really cute little place with some love and care (and $$). But it's pretty run down. Room had multiple spots that were dirty enough they hadn't been cleaned in weeks (e.g. block of wood the toilet paper holder had been attached to, back ridge of bathroom sink). Linens seemed clean and no bed bugs. Every room's window had an ashtray and chairs in front for smokers. People smoking right outside, so can't leave the windows open for fresh air. Great location.
