Easy to find and my request for a quiet room on the backside overlooking the river was implemented.

We checked in after 5pm, went up to the room and it was in quite the disarray. Apparently it was supposed to be taken out of service for carpet cleaning but I guess a miscommunication somewhere. Someone immediately came upstairs with new keys for another room with many apologies. The first morning they had water line issues, so unfortunately no coffee/ hot beverages and limited items at the breakfast bar. Just a few bottled waters for the Keurig in the room. Disappointed but it was out of their control. In the room the lamp and the phone did not work, I couldn’t get wifi so I had to go in person for some extra items and inform them of said deficiencies. I was told they recently took over the hotel, slowly working thier way thru the “to do list”.

Staff were excellent location looking out on the river and with the big dinosaur, perfect. The walking path behind us and a great restaurant right beside us. Loved it.

Beds were comfortable. Room was laid out in a manner that made it easy for a person with mobility challenges to get around.

There was no TV remote when we arrived. The TV didn’t shut down properly — distracting when one is trying to sleep. The coffee maker didn’t work in the morning.

The location was perfect. The view of the river from the upper level at the back was great. It’s Right next to the walking/biking trail, across the river to the spray park, and a couple minutes walk to a playground. There is a very family friendly restaurant next to the hotel which was also very convenient. The staff were friendly.

The AC unit made it very damp in the room, the rug felt wet. There was no designated smoking area so we were constantly walking through cigarette smoke to get to our room. This should be unacceptable for any hotel. They had “continental” breakfast but had very limited options; no eggs or any sort of meat, only cold cereal, pancakes, and other cold options (yogurt, muffins, apples).

Some of the staff were nice and knowledgeable. They didn’t make excuses for when things went wrong and promises made that we’re not kept because they didn’t know the policies of the location where they worked.

Room wasn’t cleaned in four days just because I had a pet. I’ve never heard of that before and he’s a small non-shedding hypoallergenic therapy dog.

All the staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Had great views and nicely located near popular attractions!

Bed was comfortable and what a relief, no duvet. I can't understand why so many places leave a heavy duvet on the bed all summer especially when the AC is noisy so you don't want to leave it on unless absolutely necessary.

The two straight back chairs were very dirty needednto put a towel down before sitting on it. The plumbing noise from the suite above was incredibly loud, I was worried there was a leak and water was spraying into our wall space. The rug needed cleaning or replacing.

The view was great. And having a stove was a bonus.

My husband & I spent one night at the Travelodge in Drumheller on our way back from Radium. We were in room 106 with double beds. My husband awoke with bites all over his body which we later found out from a pharmacist that they were bed bug bites. I told the front desk & she in turn gave me a email to inform the manager what had happened. The manager asked for photos of the bites which I sent him. After a few days he emailed me & told me that the room was inspected with no signs of bed bugs & the bites on my husband must have been from something else even though a pharmacist, whom had looked at the bites to decide what to prescribe for the pain & itching my husband was in & had determined they were indeed bed bugs, & unfortunately there was nothing more he could do or say. I had demanded a refund. We will never stay at any Travelodge hotel again!

Friendly helpful check in staff. Cleaning staff needed to pull up their socks in preparing our quest suite for arrival. We liked the location. Easy to find. It’s the first motel when you enter Drumheller and quick access to the museum.

Gap in door, wouldn’t shut properly. Shampoo, etc bottles were almost empty. Hardly enough for 1 person to use. Napkins and coffee stir sticks were put into ziplock bags, handled by someone. Eeewww! Only 2 paper cups, had to reuse from my cold beverage then my coffee. These are paper cups. Seemed to really cheap out on things. Very dated!

I paid for 2 queen beds and when we arrived they wanted to give us a room with a double bed. Finally resolved and had an ok room on the ground floor when originally they said they did have not 2 queen bed rooms on the ground floor. Not impressed but the second room ok.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. One of the fellows fixed/replaced our lamp immediately. The shower was large and easily accessed. Bathroom was clean. For the price I kind of expected it to be more modern and updated.

Walk through and stairs run down and rusty. Broken tile around the jetted tub in our room (that we didn’t use).

I liked the view from the hotel! The bed was comfortable too!

We loved the view of the river from our room. The location was fantastic for exploring the town and surrounding area. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Liked the location for its access to the things we wanted to do. I was hoping for a hot breakfast of pancakes or scrambled eggs or both I was also hoping to have a warm place to eat as eating outside at picnic tables when the morning is chilly is not fun.

When I was looking to book I wanted access to a pool and this was listed among the hotels with pools. It was a disappointment since it was so hot while we were there.

The location was convenient. It was easy to find.

The room was decently clean but the room had a smell. The place needs some TLC, the door had no weather stripping, so there was a massive gap to outside. It just felt very shabby. We didn't partake of breakfast, we needed protein and fruit.

Nice hotel. Convenient location. Picnic table outside our room to enjoy the weather. Didn't bring mine this trip but happy that they take pets.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Our hotel room was on the second floor at the top of the stairs facing the parking lot, yet it was very quiet, even with other guests coming up and down the stairs. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided good advice on the community and activities we were going to attend (Passion Play, museum, etc).

Parking lot was a little small, but it was a very busy day on the night we stayed, and we did find a parking spot, so not really a negative thing.

Advertised guest laundry but had none, air conditioner didn’t work breakfast was a small corner of the reception lobby where you could have gotten food (except it was all gone) and then you had to take your food outside or back to your room

Big fan of a 24 reception desk, makes planning easier. Good spacious rooms and we had a nice riverside view. From here we could enjoy the Canada Day fireworks front row!

Air conditioning made a lot of sound, good thing I brought earplugs. And the doors are in need of screen doors, mosquitoes are abundant!

For the nightly rate it is just fine. All seemed clean, breakfast was standard. Just the noise from the upper room, and the pillows where not very good, led to a poor sleep by all.

Prima kamers die goed ingericht waren. Na 1 nacht al schone handdoeken en waren de prullenbakken geleegd (onze ervaring is dat dit zeldzaam is in een motel!) Ontbijt was basic, maar goed verzorgd. Pancakemachine een grote hit!

Kamers zijn niet heel groot en het is er wat gehorig.

The noisy metal stairs!

You can see the largest Dinosaur from the rooms on the back side. As well as a nice river view and river walking path. Beds were comfortable. Price was right. Would stay again.

Breakfast selection was extremely minimal and not scaled to the guest count (lots of waiting involved). Only outdoor seating for breakfast. Room was mostly clean but did notice a large smudge on the vanity that could have been wiped (makes you wonder about how clean everything else was).

Rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed being on the river side and being able to see the dinosaur from our window.

We may have been in a room thst had previously had dogs, it smelt a bit. There was no air conditioning system that we could see and the window didn’t open enough to properly cool the room down. It was hot.

The staff was extremely pushy and aggressive. We arrived a little late due to unexpected delays on the road, and from the moment we checked in, the manager acted irritated that we had arrived near the end of the check-in window—even though we were still within the posted hours. Before going to sleep, I specifically asked about staying past checkout because I knew I had been driving for a long time and had consumed several energy drinks just to stay awake safely. The manager told me it would cost $15 per hour after checkout. I agreed and asked how late I could stay. He told me 2:00 PM. I explained that I would try to leave by noon but was happy to pay if I needed to stay until 2:00 PM. Instead, at noon—just one hour after checkout and well before the 2:00 PM time we had discussed—he came marching into our room unannounced, yelling at the top of his lungs that we had to leave immediately. It was shocking and completely unprofessional. As someone who has owned rental properties, I understand that landlords cannot simply enter occupied premises whenever they want. While I realize motel rules may differ, I still expected basic respect, privacy, and professionalism. The entire situation was made worse because there was no cancellation option available when our travel plans were delayed. We encountered unexpected issues on the road and arrived approximately six hours later than planned. Despite the circumstances, we were still required to pay for the room whether we arrived or not. The motel’s position was essentially that they could have rented the room to someone else, so they were not willing to make any accommodation. That lack of compassion was disappointing, especially when travelers are already dealing with difficult and potentially unsafe situations. The South Korean gentleman managing the property was particularly difficult to deal with.

I liked the restaurant next door.

The hotel is located close to the city center, making it very convenient to get around. Everything was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay.

Water quality issue: The tap water in our room was brown. It might have been a temporary city-wide problem, but it was still quite inconvenient.

Excellent staff, helpful & friendly. Very clean!!! Good tv viewing options-cable feed or Roku! No issues at all with wifi. Good location with easy access from the highway and lots of free parking. Breakfast is 'light' but fresh and adequate. Will stay here again when in Drumheller!

As reported to 'manager' the bathtub surface is very slippery. Without a non slip mat or secured handrail, it was very precarious to shower! A slip and fall incident looking to happen!

The lady working the desk was amazing. There was issues checking in, but was sorted out.

Booked a room with 3 beds, upon opening the door we were hit with a musty odor. Walking around the room to find out the carpet was soaked in several spots. Had to walk to the front desk as our phone was not working in the room. The manager said he would meet me at the room to fix the issue, he claims all the rain has caused issues with the rooms. A box of carpet deodorizer later and a quick vacumn, we were unable to breath in the room. After airing it out for an hour I asked if we could be changed rooms. He finds 2 rooms to switch us to but they were 2 separate rooms with a double bed, which he claimed to be king rooms, no connecting doors. Not suitable for one adult and 2 minors. We were once again asked to wait and he came back to us with another room with 2 doubles. Not ideal with a parent and a 17 year old. Not much room for sleeping.

Parking seemed small for the number of rooms. The continental breakfast didn’t start until 8am. There was a large gap at the bottom of the entrance door.
