Sehr sauber, gute Lage. Badewanne habe ich geschätzt.

332.- für 2 Übernachtungen fand ich für mich teuer.

Posizione comodissima per raggiungere il centro sia a piedi che con tram gratuito.Colazione con molta scelta.

L: emplacement est parfait.Le personnel (On est arrivé malheureusement très tard donc je peux pas trop faire de critique la dessus)Mais la personne que j'ai croisé a fait sont travail et elle était sympathique.

La chambre était comme un retour aux années 80..Mais propre, confortable avec des WC au sol a Carreaux noire et blanc.

Lage super dicht am SBB , Busse und Straßenbahn.

Zimmer zum Hinterhof war okay, aber dass ein Kompressor oder ähnliches alle paar Minuten laut ansprang war etwas lästig. Besonders wenn es warm ist, keine Klimaanlage da ist und man das Fenster nachts auflässt.

Останавливаюсь в этом отеле не в первый раз и с удовольствием вернусь опять. Персонал делает все для того, чтобы ваше времяпровождение было комфортным. Все работники невероятно приветливы, встречают отдыхающих непременной улыбкой, терпеливо отвечают на все вопросы. Есть русскоговорящие. Особо хочу поблагодарить Геннадия, который в первый день помог решить нам некоторые проблемы. Завтрак очень хороший, но однообразный. Уборка производится ежедневно.

Для меня единственным минусом было наличие ступенек при входе в отель, с багажом подниматься сложно.

I give 2 stars for it's convenient location and the pleasant staff. The room was a different story. The morning after the first night I noticed large stains on the duvet. I thought the water in the toilet was just yellow but upon further inspection I realised it was a build up of dirt from not being cleaned properly. On the flush there was marks as if someone scribbled on it with a red crayon. There was a hole in the curtain. As we were only staying 2 nights we settled to having the room cleaned. It shouldn't have been like that in the first place.

The Metropol Hotel is conveniently located almost across the street from the main train station. Staff are friendly and courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is available at the restaurant of the attached Euler Hotel but we chose to go to a nearby coffee shop in the morning. There are coffee shops, restaurants and parks nearby, however, the more interesting area is the old town with bridges, museums and the cathedral. We were given transit passes which enabled us to travel to the old town easily via tram 8, as it's otherwise a half-hour walk and return is partly uphill. The Metropol Hotel was perfect for our one night stay after we returned from a river cruise. We chose it for its proximity to the train station for onward travel to Zurich the next day. It took us 3 minutes to walk to the train station.

The hotel is very conveniently located, and the room was clean, recently renovated and very comfortable.

However, the breakfast was disappointing. Despite being charged separately, it was very limited, not particularly tasty, and certainly not up to the standard one would expect in Switzerland. The breakfast area itself is small and poorly serviced, with piles of dirty dishes left on the tables.

The location is excellent, just at the railwaystation and opposite the tramstops. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Metropol hotel is a bit old style from 1970-80ies. I don’t like full carpeting in the room. It is unhygienic.

Slecht toegankelijk met bagage: veel trapjes. Onverschillige reactie van receptie. Geen airco dus snikhete kamer. Bed waarvan je maar één kant zonder kruipen op kon. Douche in bad.

L’emplacement idéal à 2 pas de la gare de Bâle pour un week-end de découvert . Le personnel est très agréable . Le petit déjeuner correcte.. Terrasse sympa .

Pas de Clim. On nous a emmené un ventilateur sur demande.

Definitely not a 4 star as stated. But it's clean, very convenient, good staff and spacious rooms. On the down side, there's no AC and a bit of street noise.

Personeel is zeer arrogant en onvriendelijk. Er is nooit iemand achter de bali. Je moet ze echt gaan zoeken.

Nah am Bahnhof, ich hatte um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten und es auch bekommen.

The location was close to the train station and many trams and buses, but also walkable to the old. City areas and Rhine River. Appreciated the Basel City transit card, especially for the free bus to the airport. Also liked the bed, pillows and shower.

We had no complaints. We didn’t realize we would be staying over a large festival weekend, but that didn’t impact us much. Not much could be done about 102 degree temperature.

-odlična lokacija in čistoča, - prijazno osebje, ki je prisluhnilo moji pritožbi, - upgrade sobe, ki pa je nisva ravno čutila

-pri zajtrku ni bilo nikogar, ki bi dopolnjeval hrano: zmanjkalo je kave, ni bilo sadja, od jajc je ostala ena žlica. Nedopustno za hotel s štirimi zvezdicami- - premajhna postelja in slabo delujoča klima

Die Lage ist top. Der Hauptbahnhof ist nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Die nächste S-Bahn-Station erreicht man in 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Zimmer war schön und vor allem sehr sauber. Absolut zu empfehlen! Sehr freundlicher Service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location

I recently stayed at Hotel Metropol Basel to attend the Art Basel and was somewhat disappointed by the overall value for money. While the location is convenient and the staff were courteous, the hotel did not meet my expectations for a 4-star property. The rooms felt dated in terms of design and furnishings, and the carpets contributed to an older overall impression. One of the main drawbacks was the air conditioning system, which is centrally controlled. As a result, the room temperature was too warm and could not be adjusted to a comfortable level. Considering the room rates, I expected more modern facilities, better climate control, and a fresher, more contemporary atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is acceptable for a short stay, but I do not feel that the quality and comfort justify the price charged.

L'emplacement est vraiment idéal et très pratique.

Nous avions une chambre double et il y avait un 3ème lit (pliable). Nous avons demandé 2 fois de l'enlever mais cela n'a pas été fait...trop compliqué nous a-t-on répondu. Pas très professionnel comme réponse. Concernant le petit déjeuner il était servi également au 8ème étage. L'hôtel semblait plein et une seule personne pour le service qui n'arrivait pas à suivre pour débarrasser les tables et remplir le buffet. Dommage

O hotel não tem ar condicionado e o quarto era muito quente e abafado. O cafe da manhã custou FR 19 e era bem regular. Achei caro pelo que ofereceu.

Die Lage direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofs und gleich neben einem schönen Park. Innenstadt und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Freundlicher Empfang. Für den Hund war eine Decke und Wassernapf bereitgestellt.

Die Kosten für einen 4kg nicht haarenden Hund liegen pro Nacht bei 18€. Der gleiche Preis wie bei einem großen Hund. Das finde ich etwas viel. Gut wäre generell, dass die Preise für Haustiere bereits bei der Buchung angezeigt werden. Das wäre aber ein Thema für Booking selbst, diese Funktion einzurichten.

部屋は広いし、眺めも良かったが、コンセントが壊れて使えなかったりフロアースタンドがつかなかったり、窓が閉まらなかったりで部屋替えしたりが残念たった。朝食もよいしよかったのどが。フロアーでリンゴなどいただけたりして良いホテル

Nach dem Reparaturen der Beleuchtung im Badezimmer war ganze dreck auf unsere kosmetik und pflege Produkte.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba no hubo ni mando o aparato para encender había calor por la noche y teníamos que abrir la ventana que afuera era mucho ruido! El desayuno era lamentable y no es culpa de la chica porque pobre estaba sola no daba basto no hubo ni platos ni vasos ni desayuno variado ! Muy caro lo que es un hotel de 4⭐️

Отель расположен в 5 минутах ходьбы от вокзала. Чисто в номерах, удобный матрас и подушки, белоснежное постельное белье и полотенца. Есть капсульная кофемашина с капсулами. Качественные гель для душа и шампунь. Отзывчивый персонал.

Чтобы зайти на ресепшен, нужно преодолеть 13! ступенек. С тяжелым чемоданом это было совсем некомфортно!

L’hôtel mentionne 4* mais pour nous c’est plus un 3* Pas de climatisation qui fonctionnait Chambre super petite, alors que nous avions réservé une chambre confort !!

Стаята беше просторна, беше чисто. Леглото е много удобно. Хотелът на на 3минути пеша от жп гара SBB. Трамваите до центъра също са до хотела. Пеша до центъра е 15мин. При настаняване ни дадоха и карта за градския транспорт за целия ни престой, която включва и автобус 50, който е до летището, както и отстъпки за различни музеи, зоогическа градина и тн.

Zu laut, leider kaum Zimmer mit Dusche, sondern mit Dusche in der Wanne, zu kurz und rutschig. Für a ältere Personen nicht zu empfehlen
