Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter und das angebotene Zitronen-Gurkenwasser an der Reception. Hotel ist nur einpaar Metter von der SBB entfernt. Ein gutes und vielfältiges Frühstück.
Obwohl meine Zimmer anscheinend auf der ruhigen Seite war, war ein irgend ein Getriebe immer wieder hörbar. Wo dieser herkam weiss ich nicht und wollte ich auch nicht fragen, da ich jeweils früh raus musst und spät zurückkam. Da habe ich mir wiedermal mit Ohrenstöpsel ausgeholfen. Frühstück könnte gerne schon um 6 beginnen, wenn man früh zu Meetings oder Seminare geht.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Zimmer in der Residenzia. Alles ok bis auf den Eingangsbereich. Sie berücksichtigen nicht, dass alle Zeute nicht Katze Augen haben. Der Eingangsbereich vor dem "Kasten" mit Safe viel zu dunkel. Keine Chance etwas zu sehen. Schade!!! Beanstande das nicht zum ersten Mal, geändert hat sich leider aber nichts. Muss inskünftig mit Taschenlampe kommen.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026La ubucación y uno de los superiores en la recepción que fue muy ayudador para los datos de transporte y de la ciudad.
Tuvimos 2 habitaciones. Una tuvo el aire acondicionado todos los dias malos y era julio. Luego hubo un oroblema en el pago, porque usaron una tarjeta de credito de la invitada, que solo era para extras, y fue solicitada en la recepción, cobraron la habitación y al reclamar dijeron por mail al darnos cuenta contestaron que habia que reclamarle a booking. Se les explicó que booking nunca tuvo esta tarjeta, ya que fue solicitada en la recepción sino no dejaban entrar a la huesped a la habitación. Nunca contestaron al explicafrles esto y hasta el dia de hoy no se ha podido dilucidar si cobraron algo mas de 400 euros dos veces, porque ya estaba todo pagado con otra tarjeta y confiormado por ellos mismos en el check out.

אמנם ארוחת הבוקר טובה אך קצת יקרה בהתחשב בכך שיש הרבה חלופות זולות יותר בקרבת מקום. ריח לא נעים במסדרון. מבנה מיקום החדרים קצת לא נוח אם ממקמים אתכם בבניין השני ולא הראשי.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Beautiful hotel with fantastic, beautifully decorated rooms with great facilities. The multi adaptor point was a huge bonus when we arrived without correct plugs! The staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly, particularly as we’d arrived unexpectedly after a flight cancellation, giving advice on onward travel options. We really appreciated their hospitality!
It’s a great location, very near the station but that can mean a little noise. Definitely worth it for the staff and gorgeous rooms though!

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The hotel is right by the train station so very convenient if arriving by train. We were given a card which meant we could get free public transport around the city. It also got us a discount on the river cruise. The room was very large with lots of windows so we could get fresh air. The air con was very efficient and in fact we only used it for the hottest part of the day. The bed was large and comfortable and the duvet not too heavy. The breakfast was included and was excellent with lots of fresh fruit, bacon eggs even a toaster and twinings peppermint tea. The lifts were large and quick.
The girl at reception was not very friendly and difficult to understand. The fridge was not very cold and couldn't be adjusted. The shower was over the bath which was a bit dangerous for older people. The TV didn't have any news channels in English. However we would still recommend this hotel. Not a lot of restaurants near the hotel. We went to the bistro attached to the hotel one night but were disappointed with our meal.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026The location across from the main train station was wonderful. The tram stopped just in front to take me everywhere I wished to go, very conveniently and efficiently. Given its location I was a bit concerned but my hotel room, the staff, and the restaurant connected were convenient and comfortable for a 3 night stay. Easy to get to the Kuntsmuseum and the fondation Beyeler— my reasons for visiting. I would certainly book there again!

It has a restsurant,bar and outside terrace for drinks from the bar. Two minutes walk from room to the tram stops.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Comodissimo se si arriva in treno, basta attraversare la strada, inoltre fermata dei tram a pochissimi passi con il quale si raggiungono tutti i punti d’interesse della città e cosa veramente super, al momento del check in viene fornita la Basel Card per usufruire dei mezzi pubblici in modo gratuito e con una scontistica molto interessante su musei ecc ecc. Pulito e per una volta abbiamo trovato la possibilità di gestire l’aria condizionata! Buona la colazione ☺️.
Dalle camere che danno sulla stazione, si sente abbastanza il passaggio dei tram.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Location is very central, a slight sound of the trams moving through Bahnhofplatz, rooms very comfortable and bathrooms clean and efficient. Restaurant serves a good range of delicious meals.
all was very good for my stay, I always chose Hotel Victoria when in Basel, I have tried others but they do not have the same comfortable and welcoming feel. Staff make a;ll the difference, I always see a smiling face at reception and around the hotel.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Zentrale Lage am Bahnhof mit Tiefgarage, die nicht ganz einfach zu finden war. Navi führt direkt vors Hotel, Garageneinfahrt aber auf der Seite. Mit großem Auto gut zu befahren, Mit der kostenlosen Baselcard die wir im Hotel bekommen haben konnten wir Bus und Bahn kostenlos nutzen. Keine langen Wartezeiten, gut getaktet. Frühstück war sehr gut, das Restaurant im vorderen Bereich wie ein Bistro. Essen war gut.
