Ein super Hotel/Resort. Es war so viel Gutes dabei, dass die kleinen negativen Sachen nicht groß ins Gewicht fallen. Zimmer waren super, Aussicht vom Balkon war genial Dadurch, dass das Resort auf einer Halbinsel steht, hatten wir die Sicht vom Balkon direkt aufs Meer und dahinter die Stadt Agios Nikolaos. Sehr romantisch Abends. Ich glaube es gibt kein einziges Zimmer ohne atemberaubender Aussicht! Seit langem in Europa und Afrika (wo ich so in letzter Zeit war) das erste Mal, dass keine Glastür im Bad war. Endlich eine Tür, ganz normal aus Holz und gut verschließbar. Der Resort-private Sandstrand ist hervorragend. Wer Sand nicht mag, kann gleich daneben auf flache Felsen oder sogar ins Gras gehen und dort die Liegen verwenden. Es ist ganztägig der Bademeister da und kümmert sich um Alles. Sehr freundliches Personal und nicht aufdringlich, wie mancherorts in Griechenland. Die Freundlichkeit der Bademeister ist nicht aufgesetzt, sondern wirkt natürlich. Also meinerseits ein großes Lob an die Bademeister. Es gibt 2 große Pools mit wunderschöner Aussicht, aber wir waren nur am Strand, also kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Das Frühstück war toll und vielseitig. Für jeden Geschmack war was dabei. Es gab nicht nur griechische Kost, sondern darüber hinaus alles was das Herz begehrt. Eines der Lokale im Resort (weiß nicht mehr wie es heißt) kann ich auch empfehlen. Etwas teuer, aber man bekommt gute, ausreichende Portionen eines hochwertigen Essens. Ich war danach satt und zufrieden.

Das Hotel/Resort ist eigentlich super, sodass das hier Meckern auf hohem Niveau ist. Zimmer: Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß, aber wir hätten uns etwas mehr Platz gewünscht. Die elektrischen Schalter für Licht und Klimaanlage waren viel zu kompliziert. Man braucht einen Doktor-Titel in Elektronik um das zu verstehen. Aber es gab auch althergebrachte Schalter, also war es nicht so schlimm. Das Waschbecken war im Flur direkt bei der Tür des Zimmers statt im Bad. Personal/Service: Prinzipiell waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Freundlichkeit schien auch nicht gespielt, sondern ehrlich. Aber zwei Dinge haben gestört. 1. Beim Check-In wurden wir auf eine Couch gesetzt und die Rezeptionistin stand neben uns als sie uns alles erklärt hat. Das hatte ein Feeling von Über- und Unterordnung. Außerdem hat sie so leise gesprochen, dass ich die Hälfte nicht verstanden habe und mehrmals nachfragen musste. 2. Die Zimmer wurden pro Tag 2-3x vom Service besucht. 1x Reinigung, 1x Check der Minibar (warum auch immer das Jemand Extra machen muss), 1x Abendbesuch bei dem die Vorhänge geschlossen wurden. Wir fanden das etwas übertrieben und so, als müsste man uns kontrollieren. Preise: Das Hotel ist so schon sehr teuer und die Zusatzpreise für Massagen, Restaurants usw. sind noch schlimmer. Eine einstündige Paarmassage für 400€ ist lächerlich. Dafür haben wir woanders auf Kreta 8x einstündige Massagen erhalten. Aber ja, wenn man ins Minos Palace Resort geht, hat man wohl keine Geldprobleme... Longevity Prinzip: Das Hotel ist auf Longevity ausgerichtet. Allerdings hatten wir das Gefühl, dass das eher halbherzig gelebt wird. Ein Beispiel ist, dass man bei Zimmer+Frühstück zwar beim Frühstück und 1x pro Tag aufs Zimmer jeweils eine 1liter Flasche Wasser bekommt, aber den Rest muss man dann extra bezahlen. Dabei wäre Wasser trinken wohl bei Longevity ziemlich wichtig. Naja... Es gäbe noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten, aber der Platz ist aus.

Exceptional hotel. Everything about it was amazing. The smell, the fact that they prepare your room for sleep, attention to every small detail, very helpful staff, the location. The food and drinks are really good, although quite pricey.

Lack of a smart TV. It’s unbelievable to me that so many “high end” hotels still have old TVs. At least put a Chromecast or Apple TV. But other than that, everything is amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Minos Palace Resort in Crete. We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and originally booked a standard room with a sea view. We were very pleasantly surprised when the hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with a private pool. It made our stay even more special and enjoyable, and we are very grateful for such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing atmosphere exactly what we were looking for on this holiday. There are two restaurants on the property, both serving delicious food, and you can also order food at the beach bar, which is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options for every taste. We also really enjoyed the dinner buffet, especially the beautiful little desserts they looked like tiny works of art! The staff were always very polite and welcoming, and the level of service throughout our stay was excellent. Our room was serviced twice a day, which was a particularly nice touch. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and are very happy that we chose Minos Palace Resort to celebrate our anniversary. We left with wonderful memories of our time in Crete and would happily stay here again.

Après une forte journée de houle, des plastiques flottants étaient visibles dans la mer juste devant la plage . L’hôtel devrait prévoir un service de nettoyage nautique afin que le client ne soit pas choqué par saleté de la mer , seule la plage et le bord sont nettoyés !

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff were amazing, and the breakfast was excellent. The whole place has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of spots both by the beach and around the pool, so even when the hotel is busy, it never feels crowded.

Overall, everything was perfect. If I had to mention one small thing, I felt that a few little details could have been thought of — for example, having sunscreen available by the pool would have been a nice touch.

Ein sehr schönes modernes und gepflegtes Hotel, das Essen im allen Restaurants auf Fine Dining Niveau

Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren zwar nett aber lange Wartezeiten teilweise bis etwas passiert und auch unzuverlässig. Bei Ankunft war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig, es wurde gesagt es sei in einer stunde fertig, dann wieder 5 Minuten u wieder, das sollte in einem 5 Stern Hotel nicht passieren schon gar nicht bei einem Zimmer Preis von 1200€/ Nacht. Dann hatten wir am Abflug Tag um 13:00 einen Duschraum reserviert (einen Tag vorher) auch dieser war dann nicht um 13:00 fertig, warum auch immer. Wir konnten dann ins spa duschen gehen. Das ist natürlich kein tolles Kundenservice und kommt auch heutzutage nicht mehr oft in high class hotels vor. Vielleicht sollte man das Personal besser abstimmen.

Premises location, garden, sea views, cleanliness, yoga classes. However, the staff at the reception , at restaurants (a la carte side), at spa made the big difference in accomodating tourists during their stay.

Air conditioning limited to 23C, removal of personal stuff from the sun beds after someone is away for less than an hour (e.g. while at a yoga class), beach towels not always available in the morning, some rude servers at the breakfast (the only man I saw the whole time of my stay serving on the buffet terrace).

Unbeschreiblich! Wirklich alles perfekt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt so geliebt. Dieses Resort kann definitiv mit einer Maledivenreise mithalten. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr gut durchdacht, bis in viele Details. Die Ausstattung ist schön, sauber und neuwertig. Das Personal ist unglaublich zuvorkommend. Beim Essen kriegt man sogar den Stühl untergeschoben. Alle Grüßen, arbeiten fleißig, damit man das beste Erlebnis und Komfort pur hat. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich es lange nicht erlebt habe, dass Leute so fleißig sind und in ihrem Job bemühen. Essen ebenfalls - UNFASSBAR KÖSTLICH. Alles! Wirklich alles. Der Strand und Pool-Bereich ist ebenfalls einfach traumhaft (am Pool keine Musik - einfach Ruhe! Es war göttlich). Wir waren einfach sprachlos. So viel Komfort und Schönheit. Die Bucht ist wirklich ein Traum. Einen besonderen Dank an Mariana (Rezeption) und Katerina (im Restaurant). Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Amazing resort on a beautiful location. Lots of little hide-outs where you can hang and chill. Great food in both restaurants on the resort. Absolutely 5-star worthy.

Spa ist nicht inklusive, was deutlicher gemacht werden sollte bei der Buchung. Zudem sind die Wellness-Behandlungen unverhältnismäßig teuer. Das Frühstücksangebot hat uns enttäuscht und man kann keine Speisen am Tisch bestellen. Zudem waren beim Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet einige Speisen nicht beschrieben. Zudem wenig Liegen am Meer, die bereits morgens mit Handtüchern beleget wurden. Wlan funktioniert nicht. Insgesamt stimmt hier leider das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht, wir kommen nicht wieder.

Le site est splendide. On peut se balader et admirer les jardins et la vue. La plage privée est très agréable. On peut facilement voir plein de poissons avec un masque. Le confort du lit est exceptionnel. La vue de la chambre est très belle. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant.

La piscine ferme à 18:00. Mais ce n’est qu’un désagrément tout à fait mineur.

I'm trying to find the words to adequately express the experience. I could pile on the superlatives, but I won't. Let's just say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was truly wonderful, all of them. From every simple "Hello" and "Good morning" to trying to make every moment perfect for the guests. The room was absolutely dreamy! I slept like a baby every night, with the crashing waves and the wind in the palm trees as background music. Don't get me started on the food...I'm still reminiscing the lobster linguini and the white wine while watching the sunset. And finally, a small detail I forgot to ask them about. The whole building had the most seductive and intriguing scent, I wish I knew what it was.

להנהלת המלון, לדעת שלפעמים ניתן ורצוי להתגמש כדי להעניק שדרוגים לאורחים כשיש הצדקה. הגיונית. מזה הכי התאכזבתי.. מעבר לכך אהבנו מאוד את הצוות והמלון על כל חלקיו ואזוריו.

Excellent hotel, rien à redire. Le service est impeccable, la vue est epoustouflante et le niveau de confort vaut le prix de la chambre. L'hotel dispose de parkings et se situe à 5 min en voiture du centre ville d'Agios Nikolaos. Nombreuses piscines et restaurants et un personnel très serviable et aimable.

If I could give Minos Palace 12/10, I would. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The architecture is outstanding, and whoever designed this place has exceptional taste. Everywhere you walk, you discover another peaceful corner surrounded by nature. There are so many beautiful spots to relax that you could stay here for a long time without ever getting bored. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. The wellness and health center is fantastic. The spa team is professional, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The yoga teacher offers wonderful classes, and the sports instructor, Janice, is highly professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Overall, an unforgettable stay. This is a place where you can truly disconnect, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend Minos Palace to anyone looking for beauty, tranquility, wellness, and exceptional hospitality.

If I had one suggestion, it would be about the gym. The equipment is excellent, but in such an exceptional location, a large window overlooking the sea or nature would make the experience even more special and perfectly aligned with the spirit of the hotel. Our room 319 which was near the cleaning staff was very noisy

There is lack of sunbeds at beach and they take it away from you when are away more than 45 min. Very stressful. You cant have a lunch or massage without risk of loosing your sunbed

This was a nearly perfect hotel for its value. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, the infinity ocean view room was very quiet with an amazing view, the location is prestige, the sunbeds very comfortable, the umbrellas provided a nice shadow. The breakfast was incredible and the restaurants offered very good food, drinks and wine menu for an expensive, but fair price for the segment. I participated in some of the complimentary activities (yoga, functional training) which were also good. We certainly want to come back!

To be honest, this feedback is just to make it perfect and it didn't significantly impact our stay. Hopefully you can implement these changes so I can come back every year =) 1. I didn't appreciate much of the value of the spa treatments. It seemed to offer a lot of services for very high prices and very low value. The infrared sauna does nothing but a bit of relaxation, really, and it is certainly not worth 40 euros. The shower experience with the lights does not make me want to come back. On the other hand, every hotel in this segment has a dry and wet sauna (hammam) included in the fee (even if you require booking in advance to avoid overcrowding the space), which has many proven benefits to your health, which sadly missed during my stay. My wife had a massage and she really enjoyed it, but its price was way too high. 2. I would add a few extra umbrellas over the sunbeds in the pool area where there's a whole stack of empty uncovered sunbeds (around 10-15) that people use just for a few minutes before it gets too hot. On the other hand, at peak hours, there are no free shadow spaces in the pool and beach areas, which makes you want to hurry up and get a spot. I would add some more of those kingsize bungalows in the pool area, those are just fantastic. 3. The rooms need a bottle opener for the complimentary sparkling wine =) 4. Offer snorkeling or swimming goggles at the beach - most people forget! 5. Maybe put up a "non-smoking" and a "relaxation is shared" sign in the pool and beach areas. Nature should be preserved and privacy does not come naturally for some.

If to describe in one word this hotel, i would say Paradise. From the entrance of the hotel, welcomed by the best staff ever, to rooms and lunch and dinner: everything seems so perfect, so clean, so respectful and so professional. You will have the best sleep because their sofas are so comfortable and so delicate. Staff is undoubtedly one of the most professional i have ever met: kind and warm regards to all stuff from Amar restaurant (Leonidas and his team is fantastic: smiley Anastasia and so warm Maria to smiling George and all other persons working there a big thank you). I cannot forget Irini from main restaurant the way she was preparing and attentively arranging all fruit and deserts. Guest and reception relations is another success story: Sofia welcomed us at the hotel and created such a beautiful atmosphere during the whole stay. Thank you so much Sofia. I appreciate also the flexibility of the hotel to adapt to customers needs: we arrived in the morning and immediately the hotel took care of us and we were proposed an early check in . I was surprised by the fact that: if leaving late, the hotel will grant you with a room to get ready for departure, which is really nice and thanks for that.

Maybe the prices per 100 grams for calamari or prawns or octopus are a little bit too high

The staff was so friendly and kind, everyone treated us so well. The hotel is ultra clean and pecise. Someone thought about all the small details…oh, and the bed is super comfy!!

Maten. Jag är vegetarian och kan bara tala för det vegetariska utbudet, vilket tyvärr var skralt och höll låg nivå på alla hotellrestauranger (dessutom väldigt dyrt i relation till nivån på maten). Vi valde bort hotellrestaurangerna i den mån vi kunde.

We were on the search for a beautiful hotel and we found an outstanding one! The whole hotel complex is harmonious. The garden of the hotel is incredible, The room was the perfect size, as you spend the whole day anyway at the exquisite and for the hotel guests reserved beach. We can highly recommend the Amar Restaurant where you have the most attentive and lovely team. Huge shoutout to Maria and Leonidas, thank you so much for your hospitality! And of course the dishes are so delicious. We ate there every day. Actually you don't have to leave the hotel for your whole stay because you have everything you need at one place - great gastronomy (the breakfast is also delicious), wonderful beach, great sun loungers, geat gym, excellent SPA and most important you get all the rest you need, no disturbing music or whatsoever. We can only highly, highly recommend this hotel for your next stay..

We would have loved a beach bag from the hotel, as we didn't bring any and had made the experience from previous 5 Star Hotels that they provide beach bags for their hotel guests And there is no hotel shop with like bikinis or swim wear, or local art or pottery or clothing from local brands, that was a little missing

The hotel rooms, facilities, views, grounds, staff, and location were all amazing. We stayed in a Sunset Room, which was spacious and had a lovely balcony. The room was spotless, and the housekeeping service was excellent throughout our stay. The hotel’s interior was beautiful, and we especially loved the breakfast setting and buffet. It was such a relaxing atmosphere that you could easily spend two hours enjoying breakfast without feeling rushed. The beach area was gorgeous, with a private sandy beach that never felt overcrowded. It was always easy to find a place to relax. We especially loved the beach sofas—they were incredibly comfortable and a great alternative to the sunbeds if they were occupied. The beach service was excellent, with food and drinks served promptly. We had lunch twice at the seafood restaurant on the beach, and both meals were fantastic. The lobster pasta and tomato carpaccio were especially delicious and highly recommended. We also had dinner once at the hotel’s main restaurant, where breakfast is served. It offers a buffet-style dinner with live entertainment, which created a lovely atmosphere. While the food was okay & can be improved. The hotel is about a 30-minute walk from the town, but we preferred taking a taxi each time. The hotel staff would arrange one for us, and it always arrived quickly. In town, there was always a taxi queue with available cars to take us back to the hotel, so transportation was never an issue. When we visited Elounda, which is farther away, the restaurants there were also happy to call a taxi for us. Overall, this is the kind of hotel you don’t want to leave. We hardly did, except to head into town for dinner. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful vacation. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the view was breathtaking, and the food was excellent. What is there not to like?! It is absolutely stunning and everyone was so welcoming, personable and attentive. The room we had was gorgeous and the sunrise in the morning was stunning. The decor is minimalist but pure luxury, the perfect blend. Our room was spacious and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. The pool is beautiful and we thought there was plenty of places to sit by the beach and sunbath. The breakfast is phenomenal! The choices are amazing. Everything is so tasty and so healthy too. The variety is incredible. The food in general was delicious. We will miss all the staff that looked after us!

Honestly it was absolutely incredible and if we are being incredibly picky it would be that where you grab your towels for the sun bed towel box it makes a loud bang that everyone can hear. I think a simple fix would be a soft close lid- super simple solution. A hook next to the shower for your towel could be useful and I think emailing out the programmes available beforehand would be great. Then you can pre plan your whole time better. Last thing would be to open the gym at 6am as there is a lot of people who clearly love fitness here at this hotel and it would also help improve how busy it got at 7am.

Alles super schön angelegt, grosszügige Anlage mit wundervollem Blick. Alles super modern und analog zu den Bildern. Das Personal liest einem alle Wünsche von den Lippen ab. Wirklich toll!

Für das Spa wird extra berechnet. Für Anwendungen natürlich nachvollziehbar aber für den Rest unseres Erachtens etwas over the top.

Alles hat uns gefallen. Besonders der Privatstrand

Der ganze Aufenthalt war einfach unglaublich! Die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeitenden sowie der Service lassen nichts an Wünschen offen. Auch ein großes Kompliment an das Reinigungspersonal, das Zimmer wird zweimal am Tag gereinigt, ohne dass man Stress haben muss, sie kommen einfach wenn man aus dem Zimmer geht. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit einer großen Auswahl. Das Resort sauber und einfach nur paradiesisch, wir haben jeden Tag neue Ecken entdeckt. Das Gym wurde komplett erneuert, mit Reformer sowie neuen Technogym Geräten, perfektes Training. Vielen Dank für diese absolut traumhafte Woche, wir vermissen es jetzt schon!

Die Preise für das Abendessen waren uns persönlich zu hoch und die Auswahl am Abendbuffet für den Preis nicht ganz gerechtfertigt, weswegen wir nicht oft im Hotel selbst gegessen haben. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es jedoch zwei nette Tavernen und in 6 Minuten ist man mit dem Taxi im Stadtinneren, um eine Vielzahl an Kulinarik hautnah zu erleben.

Rundum erholsam! Super freundliches Personal. Gutes Essen, tolles Frühstück! Herrliche liegen am Meer. Abends essen im Mom Restaurant mit Blick auf die Bucht und im Schein des Vollmondes war einfach traumhaft. Dafür muss man aber a la carte essen.

Kein Poolboy. Sonnenschirme musste man selbst aufmachen und Handtücher von anderen Gästen weg räumen.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit einer tollen, gepflegten Anlage. Trotz der Grösse wirkt alles angenehm privat, da es viele verschiedene Bereiche zum Entspannen gibt. Die Zimmer sind modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. Auch die gute Lage (Auto allerdings notwendig) ist ein Pluspunkt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Verbesserungspotenzial sehen wir beim Service. Ein Teil des Personals wirkte leider nicht ausreichend geschult und teilweise wenig aufmerksam. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir jedoch den Beach Boy am Strand sowie einzelne Mitarbeitende beim Frühstück/ Reception, die sehr engagiert, freundlich und aufmerksam waren. Mit einem insgesamt konstanteren Serviceniveau wäre der Aufenthalt nahezu perfekt gewesen.

Die Lagoon Suite ist außergewöhnlich hochwertig ausgestattet und die Betten sind einfach himmlisch. Die Aussicht sowie der private Pool waren atemberaubend und eine Oase für die Sinne. Der fußläufige Privatstand (Sand) mit seinen gemütlichen Liegen und seiner tollen Sicht haben den Urlaub abgerundet. Auch werden der Ausblick vom Restaurant und das vielfältige Frühstücksangebot den 5 Sternen mehr als gerecht.

Everything is amazing, cannot recommend it enough

Everything was perfect

Excellent once again. This is our fourth trip to the Minos Palace and every time it gets better. The setting is beautiful, breakfast exceptional and the beach glorious. The new gym is a huge improvement from the previous set ups, albeit quite warm in there with no obvious AC to adjust. The renovations undertaken over the past couple of years have made this hotel extremely smart and accentuate the beautiful gardens and views. Already can’t wait to visit again!

Being really picky, sun-beds on the beach remain as competitive as ever. The hotel have put rules and staff in place to monitor sun bed reserving which is proactive of them but you have to be up and on your beds early to be in with a chance!

Despite a few minor drawbacks, we had a fantastic stay. The hotel is wonderful, the food is delicious, the views are stunning, and it's the perfect place for peace, quiet, and relaxation.

There are no towel hooks or racks, the Wi-Fi is weak, the private pool water is too cold, and there is a very limited selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

The hotel is fantastic - the location, the staff, the facilities, the food. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We stayed in a sunset suite with pool, would highly recommend!

Its just perfect! Loved every single moment in there wish if I stayed longer ! Perfect location with wonderful views and a very nice beach .. the breakfast was great too .. the room layout was good and it was very clean and comfortable.. the staff were extra nice ! Would definitely love to come again and stay longer

The only downside to me that they informed me that they do a strict policy regarding reserve the sun beds .. even though people was still do reserve and no one did a thing about it It made it difficult to find a good spot.
