Service et accueil décevant. On vous parle en anglais alors que vous êtes français alors qu’un membre du personnel francophone se trouve juste là et pianote sur son ordinateur. Ambiance : que du business ! Politique commerciale mesquine, pour une chambre payée 332 euros pour une nuit, on vous demande 2.50 euros pour une bouteille d’eau sous prétexte que la gratuité n’est réservé qu’aux membres Hilton. Le bagagiste : nous avons déposé nos bagages le matin à 10 heures à la réception qui les a étiqueté, le bagagiste ne sait pas donné la peine de les déposer en chambre lorsqu’elle était prête. Chambre à la décoration vieillotte et sombre, une seule fenêtre. Salle de bain sans fenêtre et absence de douche séparée ce qui oblige les clients à grimper dans une baignoire haute et glissante. Connections au Wifi laborieuse exigeant une déclinaison d’identité complète. Le linge ne sent pas le frais raffiné mais dégage une odeur de buanderie industrielle désagréable. Hôtel vendu pour un 5 étoiles mais en réalité il s’agit d’un 3 étoiles survendu et facturé au prix fort. Prise de courant absente de la deuxième table de nuit. En bref nous ne retournons jamais dans cet établissement et plus jamais dans un hôtel du groupe hilton !

Vieles. Das Essen war leider überhaupt nicht gut. Weder Abendessen noch Frühstück. Abendessen waren auch klassische italienische Gerichte und ich kam schon mit einer Erwartung das italienisches Essen in Italien gut sein muss. Es war dort nicht so. Frühstück war das Buffet immer leer. Man musste lange warten bis wieder aufgefüllt wurde und eher sehr kleingehalten das Buffet. Ich weiss nicht wie man auf 5 Sterne kommt bei diesem Hotel.

It's a very charming and elegant hotel with a beautiful interior. We had a large, spotless room, spacious enough for our family of five. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They effortlessly arranged for a pick up from the airport despite our 6 hour delay.

I wish spa area access hours were not as restrictive (I think it was something like 12 to 5), unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it as we explored Genova during the day.

Alles, eine rundum perfekte Erfahrung! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Die Betten sind ein Traum, ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen!

Ottima posizione accanto alla stazione e a pochi passi dal porto (noi avevamo la partenza crociera MSC il giorno seguente). Struttura molto curata, staff gentile e pronto ad ogni ns richiesta. Colazione ricca a buffet all'ultimo piano. Camera grande, terrazzino sulla piazza antistante la stazione, tv grande. Nell'insieme molto pulita. Piccoli rumori potevano provenire dall'esterno vista la trafficata strada, ma non ci ha disturbato affatto.

El gimnasio tiene solo 3 maquinas. Una sola cinta El restaurante lo estaban remodelando asi que habia un desayunador armado temporal en un salon muy viejo que tambien funcionaba de restaurante. Los espacios que vi en las fotos de Booking no estaban funcionando ni habian sido inaugurados. Tenias que imaginartelos

As the "Grand" in the name suggests, this is an older hotel and so some guests might find it a bit dated. However, it has been well kept up and the public areas on the ground floor are definitely grand. The rooftop terrace bar offers a good view over the city and the port, and has an extensive cocktail menu. The room was comfortable and quiet. Staff were professional and friendly, at reception, in the bar, and for room service. Parking is valet parking only. The location is good for exploring the city on foot: about a 20-minute walk to the Doge's Place or the Porto Antico. The additional fee for my dog was 45 Euros, which is rather more than the norm. The valet parking was I think 35 Euros: also more than the norm, but worth it to avoid having to sort out your own parking somewhere else. An optional service charge is added to the bill: it's not much, and you can decline if you feel strongly about it.

Bellissima atmosfera, buffet abbondante e variegato, sicuramente adatto ad ogni palato, tutto disposto in un ampio spazio accessibile a tutti i commensali. Lo staff è disponibile e gentile, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. La cena al settimo piano, qualcosa di particolarmente romantico e suggestivo, la ciliegina sulla torta in conclusione della serata, un cocktail (Naked and famous),servito da barman qualificati e col sorriso stampato, che abbiamo consumato sotto il cielo stellato e un panorama mozzafiato.

Badeværelset var meget lydt, man havde intet privatliv der. Morgenmaden er flyttet til underetagen, hvad jeg ikke var så vild med. Vi var meget glade for det, da det lå på toppen.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton in Genoa. The service was absolutely impeccable from start to finish, the staff genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully presented and extremely comfortable, with wonderfully comfy beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The location is superb too, making it really convenient for exploring Genoa. Exceptional service, a beautiful room, great comfort and a fantastic location. We couldn’t have asked for more and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

We got a room here as an upgrade from the hotel continental next door. This was a lovely surprise and a treat. The hotel is elegant and impressive. Rooms were comfortable and beautiful. Staff extremely helpful and the roof top bar and restaurant a real bonus. We enjoyed a lovely meal there with a great view. Breakfast was incredibly good value and a vast range of items. Highly recommend

Excellent location around a 2 minute walk from the train station, perfect for a staying to access Genoa airport. The rooms are spacious and the hotel feels luxurious; especially the rooftop restaurant and bar.

The spa was closed due to maintenance, this was unfortunate as we were looking forward to using it during our stay. However, we did receive complimentary breakfast due to the inconvenience.

Vi tyckte mycket om rummet, men så var det en mini-svit också. Stort kassaskåp, bra minibar. Luftkonditioneringen var bra. Bra städning och byte av handdukar varje dag. Frukosten var helt okej. Hotellet tog hand om bilen för 35 Euro/dygn. Takbaren var trevlig med bra service!

Vi bokade borde samtidigt som vi bokade rummet. Den bokningen fick vi aldrig svar på vilket var första gången någonsin som det inträffade. Det var angivet att hotellet hade en Trattoria restaurang och en bättre A la Carte restaurang, men så var inte fallet. Man skyllde på att det var semestertider, så dom hade stängt A La Carte restaurangen. Mig veterligen så är det augusti som är den stora semestermånaden i Italien. Vi tyckte inte läget var så bra som vi förväntade oss vid Piazza Principe. Hop On/Off bussen lärde oss att vi skulle nog bott på annat ställe som var mer centralt. Baren i bottenvåningen som var luftkonditionerad var stängd och man hänvisade till tak-baren som av förklarliga skäl inte var luftkonditionerad. Ett 5-stjärningt hotell borde haft båda barerna öppna liksom båda restaurangerna.

Location and excellent customer service. Comfortable rooms and very nice breakfast. Eleanora made our trip, as well as everyone we had contact with, very nice experience.

We stayed at a wonderfully elegant old‑style hotel that blends classic charm with beautifully maintained interiors. The main seating area and indoor bar were full of character yet pristine and inviting. The rooftop bar offered spectacular views across Genoa, and even the hot tub was kept at a perfectly comfortable temperature. The hotel’s location is excellent — close to the harbour, easy to explore the city from, and ideal for both sightseeing and relaxing. Our room on the sixth floor was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the view over the harbour was stunning. The bathroom was equally generous in size, featuring a deep bath and a powerful shower. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the spa, it simply gives us a reason to return. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Breakfast offered a wide selection on the buffet, and dinner was served in the same beautifully decorated room — warm, stylish, and very pleasant. The reception team were consistently friendly, helpful, and always smiling whenever we passed. Their hospitality added a lovely touch to our stay. Overall, an elegant hotel with exceptional views, a great location, comfortable rooms, and genuinely welcoming staff.

Go to the turkish baths!!! Such a relaxing wonderful experience, breakfast was also excellent in the morning!

The room was exceptional. Super clean and the best night's sleep. The bath is really deep and is great for a good, relaxing soak. The hotel was old school glamour and steeped in history. Old photographs are well worth a look! The location was incredible. Close to all the sights and easily accessible with the train station across the road. The staff were so helpful and arranged for hypoallergenic pillows to be delivered to the room promptly upon discovery that the ones in the room are down feather. Genoa has so much to see and do!

The bar was not very allergen aware. They deliver nuts with their drinks. It would be great if they could substitute for other snacks as peanuts can get everywhere. If they are in the environment it has the potential to cause a bad reaction. Genoa itself has a real problem with dog poo on its streets. It is everywhere! I feel the hotel could work with the council more to address this problem around the area.

Отель расположен в оживленной зоне возле вокзала, поэтому поспать с открытыми окнами будет проблематично. Не работала зона для гостей на крыше. В ванной имеется выбоина на эмали которую никто не отремонтировал. Вывод: за такую немалую стоимость номера отель должен устранять подобные дефекты.

We were not prepared for how lovely this hotel is, transporting one to an earlier era of classic luxury on a human scale, and beautifully maintained, equipped and run for the modern traveler. There were architectural and decorative delights everywhere (including in the lobby and bar, and the amazing display of samurai armor on the mezzanine level). Our only regret was that we weren't there for longer. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious, had a good view to the rail station and beyond, all the way to the lighthouse. Service was very good, including at the excellent breakfast (we didn't get to try the two restaurants for dinner – if we'd read the reviews here before, we would have!) The hotel is well located, especially for the train traveler, though one has to walk down a sadly neglected street or two to get to nicer parts (how can university buildings be allowed to fall into such miserable shape?!).

Perfect place to go around Genoa, perfect location just a short walk from the train station. Also, a short walk to the old town, the old port and plaza Garibaldi. The decoration is amazing while classic with the Italian attention to detail where everything matches well and everything has been place with thought and taste. We had a great time here, service was great too.

Das schöne alte Hotel liegt am Rand der Altstadt. Das Zimmer war wunderbar, geräumig und gut ausgestattet, das Bad sehr gut. der Service ist exzellent, die Bar sehr angenehm.

Schade, dass man die Fenster aus Sicherheitsgründen nur einen Schlitz aufmachen kann.

Beautiful hotel, with historic flair. Excellent location, within walking distance to the sights in Genoa. The top floor terrace provided gorgeous views of the city. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

The interiors were well appointed and befitting of the historic coastal port. The breakfast was also amazing and had a wide variety of delicious options.

We had a difficult time adjusting the air conditioning and eventually opening the windows to cool the room. We were not sure if it was an issue with the mechanical system or if we didn't know how to operate it properly.

Hotel zachwyca super lokalizacją blisko centrum, co ułatwia zwiedzanie. Stylowy wystrój nadaje mu unikalnego włoskiego klimatu. Śniadania były bardzo dobre,przemiła obsługa. Zdecydowanie polecam!

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo a estação Piazza Principe. O prédio do hotel é do final do sec XIX, mas foi totalmente modernizado e é muito bonito. Os quartos são muito confortaveis e o café da manhã é excelente.

Não gostamos do atendimento de alguns funcionários da equipe, em especial da recepção e do restaurante.

A localização em frente a estação P. Principe é excelente para quem utiliza Genova como hub de viagens para a Riviera. O hotel tem conforto (suite junior) e serviços elevados. Excelentes restaurantes e café da manhã além de looby muito agradável.

L'emplacement, le style et l'atmosphère de l'hôtel. Le toit terrasse et la vue mais quel dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de bar. Les restaurants : Acquamarina et Tratalero et le bar Royale (accueil personnalisé et prestations de qualité). Le petit-déjeuner est juste conforme à un 5 étoiles mais sans plus, pas ouah, rien d'exceptionnel. La taille, la propreté, la literie et les équipements de chambre.

Un accueil trop standardisé (hors restaurants et bar) manquant de personnalisation et manquant d'âme, dommage pour un hôtel avec un tel caractère. Des points de détails (peinture manquante ou à rafraichir, tapis avec accros. Peut-être que les suites sont mieux soignées?
