הגעתי לחדר קטן מאוד וחשוך מאוד נורה אחת בשירותים לא עבדה אבל המזל היה עובד שיכל לתקן לי את זה לאחר מכן גיליתי שהחשמל עובד לסירוגין ולא תמיד מטעין את הטלפון ובנוסף שעוד נורה לא עובדת, החליפו לי חדר. בחדר החדש היה מדף *זכוכית* שלא היה מקובע לקיר טוב והיה שנייה מליפול עליי גם המתקן של הנייר בשירותים התנדנד ובקושי החזיק העובדת בקבלה אמרה שאין מה לעשות כי אין חדרים (ראיתי שיש עוד חדרים פנויים בבוקינג להזמנה לתאריכים שאני נמצאת בהם) ושהמנהל שלה אסר עליה לתת לי חדר אחר. מלבד כל זה, היה שיפוצים בקומה וכל הזמן הסתובבו האנשים של השיפוץ ליד החלונות והרגשתי שאני לא יכולה לפתוח חלון כלל. תודה רבה למלון על השהות הכי נוראית שהייתה לי.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They also have a closed parking space which is more than required since the area is not the safest. The hotel is clean, the check-in and check-out processes were smooth.
The only problem is one that's out of control for the hotel: the area. By being so near the Hauptbahnhof, there are drug addicts walking near the area, but the hotel has all that accounted for and they make you feel safe.

Старый обшарпаный номер, треснутая раковина, стеклянная дверь в ванную комнату на месте где должна быть обычная деревянная непрозрачная, лифт не на все этажи, когда приходится все чемоданы на себе ещё один этаж тащить, кондиционер воздуха который не охлаждает (и не говорите, что я не разобрался в настройках, он просто до верхнего этажа недостаёт), выключатель, который ничего не делает. Это не первый отель сети Леонардо, в котором я проживал и поэтому ожидал такой же уровень как в предыдущих, но Франкфурт видимо сильно повлиял даже на Леонардо. Судя по поведению сотрудника на ресепшене, наше бронирование или забыли, или потеряли. Я конечно не был на нижних этажах, но самый верхний, куда нас определили, это разочарование.

The location is very central but the good sound isolation keeps the noise out. The area is as it is near the train station but nothing too bad.
The light in the room was insufficient as there is no main light in the room. The toilet is oddly low. And the breakfast is rather basic though good.

Prior to arrival, I specifically messaged the hotel through the app asking if there was an extra fee for our dog, but we never received a proper answer—only an automated check-in email; upon arrival, we were surprised with an unexpected €15 pet fee on top of the €20 parking charge. To make matters worse, room amenities were extremely basic, providing only a single bottle of shampoo with no conditioner, cotton buds, or other basic toiletries you would expect. Overall, the combination of very poor communication, hidden costs, and minimal amenities made for a disappointing experience.

Entering and exiting the parking garage was a bit difficult, as the entrance was often blocked by vehicles. The staff was helpful in requesting the vehicles to move.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Leonardo Hotel is just around the corner from the train station. It’s a short walk to downtown and the river with dining close by. Turkish food abounds in the area, but also O’Reilly’s pub that serves a delicious fish & chips. Their drinks were great and huge for the price! I was in room 118 and my only complaint would be the housekeeping staff, they were extremely noisy, slamming doors and vocal. (I believe they were having personal issue). On my departure day I arrived at breakfast late in the future requested I pay at the front desk first. A lovely woman at the front desk it kind enough to waive my breakfast charge since it was so late and told me to go ahead and enjoy my meal, on the house! That gave me plenty time to eat before my cab arrived to take me to the airport.
I’m a generous sized woman, and had to squeeze past the vanity to get into the shower, which is a step up. Besides the room being as large as it was, I would’ve added at least another foot to the bathroom the mobility issue I had knee surgery and was difficult for me.

Район рядом с вокзалом заполнен иммигрантами, бомжами и наркоманами. Вокруг арабские магазинчики и ресторанчики. Место колоритное. Интересно увидеть своими глазами. Мы обедали в тайском ресторанчике. Было очень вкусно.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Honestly, it was beyond my expectations as a classical hotel. Staff were very polite especially Mr Mustafa who made our stay comfortable from the very beginning. Just cross the road from train station, 5 min walk or less. Wide modern room with good wifi and air conditioning.
Mattress are not comfortable and double bed are merely two single beds beside each other. Tram could be a bit noisy but it’s okay for a short stay.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026In 3 min vom Hauptbahnhof zu erreichen. Straßenbahn direkt vor dem Haus. Nettes Personal und gute Essensempfehlung in Sachsenhausen. Hatte ein ruhiges Zimmer zum Hof. Zimmer war bereits am Mittag zu beziehen. So konnte ich gleich in die Stadt. Trinkwasserspender, auch Wasserflaschen, die man auffüllen und mit ins Zimmer nehmen konnte. Ausstattung und Bett gut.
Das ist sehr persönlich, weil durch Verletzung körperliche Einschränkungen bedingt … Im Bad ist der Waschbecken-Unterbau sehr lang. Man muss schräg auf dem WC sitzen. Der Papierabroller ist hinten an der Wand. Man muss sich extrem verdrehen, um daran zu kommen. Ich habe starke Schmerzen in der Schulter bekommen… Einfache Lösung wäre, den Abroller am Waschbecken-Unterbau oder rechts an der Wand anbringen. Das Zimmer wäre für Rollifahrer ungeeignet - aber mglw. gibt es geeignete.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Great location for access to Frankfurt city and the train station. Given its location it was exceptionally quiet in my room, meaning a good night's sleep. The breakfast was amazing, probably the best I've had in a hotel for a while, and the staff overseeing it were friendly and helpful.
The shower doors were jammed almost shut, meaning I couldn't have a shower after travelling for 6 hours in 33 degree heat. Nor could I start the next day with a shower before another long hot day travelling. To be fair, on booking out the reception staff genuinely apologised and said it was a known problem when I reported it. But that merely meant the management knew it was a problem at least since the last guest booked out that morning if not longer. The ability to have a shower is key for travellers, particularly in summer. IMHO, the room should have been closed until the problem was fixed or a discount given.

The hotel is well managed and everything from accommodation through to breakfast was as promised. We have stayed here before several years ago and had good service - that is why we chose to return.

They were always willing to help and made us feel very welcome. Our room was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed regularly, which we really appreciated. Everything was kept clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Frankfurt. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so pleasant!

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Αρκετά άνετο δωμάτιο σε κεντρικό σημείο δίπλα στον σταθμό των τρένων με αρκετά μαγαζιά στην γειτονιά για τα καθημερινά ψώνια.
Ίσως κάπως πολύβουη περιοχή έως κακόφημη θα έλεγα με αρκετή φασαρία τα βράδια.

Lediglich die Lage direkt am Bahnhof eigentlich super aber die Strassen sehr verdreckt mit entsprechendem Klientel, Drogenabhängige und Obdachlose.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Lage direkt gegenüber Hauptbahnhof (5min) Netter Empfang um 24 Uhr, auch die Kommunikation vorher über Mail und WhatsApp sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nachdem wir auf dem Zimmer waren, kam noch eine Frage über WhatsApp ob wir noch etwas benötigen! 👍 Vor der Rezeption gibt es einen Kühlschrank mit Snacks und Getränken Frühstück in Ordnung Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, sauber, zum Teil neu renoviert. Fahrstuhl etwas älter. Zimmer angenehm, nach hinten raus (3002) mit kl. Balkon, Mobiliar schon etwas abgewohnt, sauber, TV, Klimaanlage, Kaffeemaschine (Kapseln und Tee inkl.) Tassen, Gläser, gute Betten Großer Pluspunkt- Wasserspender im Frühstücksraum gratis (Wasserflaschen ohne Verschluß stehen dabei) Bad- gr. Dusche, sehr tiefe Toilette (für ältere Menschen schwierig) sauber Das Zimmer war relativ ruhig, allerdings spürt/hört man die Straßenbahn von vorn. (für empfindliche Menschen) Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend Für einen Zwischenstop eine gute Wahl

El personal muy amable y servicial, brindando informaciones de interes. La ubicacion del Hotel muy cerca de la estacion de tren. El desayuno con bastante variedad para cualquier gusto de huspedes de diferentes nacionalidades.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026L'hotel è in una posizione strategica, perfetta per gli spostamenti dentro e fuori città: di fronte alla stazione slcentrale, a 5 min dal terminal degli autobusa, 10 min dal lungo fiume e 15 dal centro storico. Buona la colazione, confortevole la stanza.
L'unico aspetto negativo riguarda purtroppo l'ambiente circostante la Stazione Centrale, che si presenta degradato e frequentato da spacciatori, tossicodipendenti e vagabondi, tuttavia l'accesso alla struttura è consentito solo con la chiave elettronica, il che rende il soggiorno assolutamente tranquillo.
