Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Beds are comfortable and rooms are well ventilated.
Loudest hostel I have ever stayed in. All the windows open onto a courtyard, where all the noise from other residences spills out and you can hear full conversations. Some 18 year olds were partying and after direct requests to turn the keep the volume down didn't work, phoned the front desk 3 times. No response. Went downstairs to get help and there were 3 groups of people who were waiting to check in and had been waiting for more than 25min. No one was there. Phoned their line again so that it went through to another office and there was absolutely nothing they could do. Leaving one person to manage a fully booked (I asked) hostel on a weekend, while expecting them to clean and help everyone is a mistake on they company's part.

Noise isolation in rooms not great. Ventilation in summer is lacking.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026The position is next to the main train station and amenities.
This morning, I nearly had an accident because the floor near the lift was wet and extremely slippery. There was no warning sign or indication that the floor was wet. I slipped and only just avoided falling. I am reporting this because it was a serious safety hazard and could easily have resulted in an injury. Wet floors should be clearly marked with appropriate warning signs until they are completely dry. I would appreciate it if this could be recorded and appropriate steps taken to prevent this from happening to another guest.
