Badrutt's Palace Hotel St Moritz

Badrutt is an experience. Excellent hotel, staff and facilities. In St Moritz, everything mean’s Badrutt’s only. We loved our stay and would like to return.

We really enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. The hotel is stunning, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was amazing with everything you could want.

There was really no communication between concierge and thr rest of the team. We booked and confirmed a restaurant for dinner and there was no table for us. They then gave us a “side table” (you couldn’t call it any different as there was no space to put plates and glasses on it) and shoved us by the piano where we couldn’t hear each other. We booked this restaurant a month in advance too! Shocking! They booked my transfer and on the day they told me they don’t have anything in their system and only when I showed them my emails they found the details. There are so many beautifully dressed staff with big smiles on their face but the service is not up the scratch apart from ladies at the reception..

The views of the lake are astonishing so breathtaking and with the most praiseworthy accommodating, polite and utterly professional staff they are exemplary…the entire stay was simply immaculate!

Everything was exceptional from the staff to the facilities, but if I had to choose one thing that stood out, it was an amazing breakfast with a panoramic view.

Price was a bit high, but worth it!

The location is great. It’s a historic building with according style of rooms and places.

It’s the first time ever i was pointed to giving a tip while checking out ! While at everything we ate and drink I already tipped. It’s unacceptable

Everything was exceptional! The staff at the hotel were the friendliest and warmest I’ve ever come across. Hospitality at its finest!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The staff are very nice and super helpful, from the front desk, concierge, wait staff, and housekeeping. Our room was a nice size, with a spectacular view and large bathroom. The breakfast was great, as was our afternoon tea on the terrace, and our dinner in the bar. And the location is perfect. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Hotel

I like the amenities of this hotel. though it may be a bit pricey but definitely worth the payment you spend on. YOU TOTALLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. the staff were all accomodating they also picked us up at the train station which was a 3 mins ride haha in a rolls Royce. 😎 it was snowing during our stay they were able to accomodate us complimentary ride to and from the shops around st moritz

what I didn’t like about my stay was my cancelled booking at the spa . cancelled on the same day of the booking because I wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t get out of bed. took some pain meds and it knocked me out on the same day. JESSICA from the spa called and o asked if I can cancel my booking because I’m not feeling well and couldn’t come she told me “No you can’t cancel because we are fully booked now” Without taking any consideration on my side she abruptly replied no. so I dropped the phone and didn’t know what to do because I was alone in the room and couldn’t even get out of the bed. upon checking out I saw that they charged me of the full amount at 250 eu for manicure and 200 eu approx. for pedicure too total of 450 eu +++ . they charged me 100% of the cost even though I didn’t show up because I was feeling well. in my end isn’t it that the hotel also needs to check on the welfare of the guest too? and the guest in the hotel? for me I made the right choice not to go to the spa considering that I was traveling for the past few days and I don’t want any chances of a virus in the spa considering that it’s a small place. upon so many considerations and explanations that I made through fron office they only gave me a discount of 25% off from the spa. another option was to avail the service on the same day of my checkout but they were also confused if to charge me a new rate or not. so that’s what confused me also. I have sent an email to Jessica a day after that incident but she wasn’t able to get back to me asap. and on that day another staff was handling me and had to coordinate with JESSICA STILL. point here is I think you should put considerations on your cancellation charges if theres an appropriate reason for it. safety of your guest and the guest around should be your priority as well.

We were kindly upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the lake. it was spectacular. everything at badrutts palace exceeded our expectations. for example, the service at breakfast was exceptional- very attentive and food was excellent; concerige was very helpful work hiking trails to do and he organised complimentary rides to and from hiking spots; we were able to use complimentary electric bikes; the housekeeping service was exceptional- clothes were folded up, and very fast and efficient. Brilliant hospitality. we will definitely be back.

If you want to spoil yourself, this is the place. The view and location are second to none. The staff was amazing. The pride they all have and show to the guests is heart warming. Of course, the building is historic and wonderfully maintained. Can’t wait to return!

Very clean, excellent service, great location, fantastic facilities

Perfect central location, excellent concierge and staff can-do attitude. Facilities (pool, tennis, spa) are very good. Common areas could use some renovation, but the charm of a palace is definitely there. Rooms (we had 2 deluxe lake view) are comfortable with renovated bathrooms. Overall a great 3-night stay.

The Hotel is Beautiful, the service was excellent. Special mention goes out to Eric in the ski and boot area and also to the spa personnel. The restaurants were excellent and the room housekeepers were also excellent. Unfortunately the front desk management is not as professional as the staff. Upon check in they offered a reduced price room upgrade for 100 Swiss franc per night additional, but at check out they charged us 400 per night Swiss franc. Then argued with us when we raised it with them that this was not as stated. They couldn’t get in touch with the person who checked us in either. Not what you would expect from this grade of hotel. Hotel guests should be warned about this upgrade on check-in play and try to avoid the upgrade as the deal is not what they tell you at the time.

快晴のサンモリッツでレイクが一望できる7階のお部屋に泊まらせていただきました。 お部屋の設備も素晴らしく、バスルームも清潔でバスタブも充分な大きさでした。 ホテルの作り、広さも素晴らしく、まさしくパレスという名が相応しいホテルでした。 朝食もどれも豪華で美味しかったです。 まさかの白米とお味噌汁があったことも感動しました。 次回も必ずこちらに泊まりたいです。

A palace in a very good location by the lake, nice and friendly people, great service and free rides with a rolls_Royce to nearby spots, nice and spacious room, and very good breakfast! We had an unforgettable summer stay in this palace hotel; definitely recommend!

Amazing service and beautiful setting. Perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Plus we got a ride in the Rolls on our way to train station! I would say it is more of a “good rutt” than the name suggests! 🤓😂

Amazing hotel in St. Moritz with a superb service. Great restaurants and spa including a heated pool outside surrounded by snow and temperatures of -16 degrees Celsius.

Wonderful stay in a brilliant hotel. Had a great time, super attention to detail. The service is amazing and a special note of appreciation towards the concierge team, Giuseppe and Alexander were amazing in sorting out everything during our stay. Carmen from reservations was fantastic in solving an issue I had before my arrival. The location is prime and lives upto it’s reputation.

Badrutt's is a very historical property, and the design/architecture is true to its 19th century origins. My room had a great view of the lake, and I loved the all-marble bathroom. If you arrive to St Moritz via train, you will be picked up (complimentary!) in a Rolls-Royce, which is pretty spectacular. Assistance from the concierge was hit and miss, but I got good advice about where to buy the best Swiss chocolate.

Superb hotel, faultless. All employees were attentive and obviously take great pride in their work. I hope to visit again in the near future.

TOP of the Line Hotel. It is truly a Palace! Would definitely stay here again, it is well worth the price.

Incredible hotel! I was there in the summer, so the rates were very fair (under $600) for a five star hotel. I am sure that this place is multiples in the winter. The spa is phenomenal and the pool is spectacular. Please look at the photos to get an idea of how incredible. I played tennis on the courts, which were also great. The room is well appointed and laid out. This place blends a historical, high end feel with modern amenities. I highly recommend this place if you are a five star traveler.
