Easy access and had everything you need. Great views!

There was a little mess on the walls which wasn’t great I think that was just our room though as everything else was great!

The hotel was too bland to excel but I must concede that it was very clean and great credit should be given to the housekeeping team.

Having arrived two hours before the check in time we were informed that our friend’s room was ready, we were then informed that they could have it if they paid an additional €10 per hour until the actual check in time. This avarice was politely declined. Perhaps the hotel can start charging for toilet paper or additional luggage, though one suspects this may have already been mooted at boardroom budget meetings. The breakfast, though plentiful was largely ultra processed and one assumes provided to a (tight) budget! No hooks or rails to hang towels in the bathroom. A choice of thick or thin pillows would have been nice. Now, Maldron hotels in general, though previous stays in Maldron hotels has been positive.

Noise of trafic. Bad attitude of staff. Aircon not working. Breakfast dried out. Bacon like cardboard . Limited cheap cereals. Expensive and bad value.

Breakfast was good - a decent selection and freshly cooked. Staff in the restaurant section was friendly. The view of the sea was lovely and the beds were comfortable. The bus stop just outside the hotel going straight to the city was useful.

Some staff members at reception did not seem to know much about the services (they were perfectly friendly and polite though) - we were once told that "they don't know if rooms are serviced on Saturdays" and told definitely that they are not cleaned on Sundays but when we came back from our outing on Sunday, the room was turned down whereas on a Saturday it was not. We also booked a taxi in advance with reception (the evening before) only to be told the next morning that it had been cancelled and that this regularly happens as we had needed a large car - but when booking the taxi we were not provided with this possibility. On the first morning going to breakfast, we weren't aware whether we had pre-booked or not and were charged extra even though we later realised that it had already been included in our booking. In addition, we booked a deluxe triple room but have to say it did not feel deluxe as it was a very tight space.

Hotel ist recht neu, Zimmer war schön, Betten gemütlich. Direkt vor der Haustür ist eine Bushaltestelle mit der man in das Zentrum von Dublin kommt. Unweit auch eine Bahn Haltestelle. Frühstück war gut, übersichtliche Auswahl, aber auch mit glutenfreien Brot.

Very basic breakfast for the amounts charged, but was adequate.

This hotel has no spa facilities but the website include pictures of pool, which I now understand that is at another branch of theirs. It was not inaccurate but caused confusion amongst my kids who were utterly disappointed.

There's nothing to like about it, it's mediocre.

The shower wasn't draining, the drains were clogged, the carpets were dirty, and the mattress protectors were burning hot. We stayed for 3 days, and no cleaning was done for a single day. I told them to come back in an hour, but they didn't. The room was filthy.

Overall hard to find fault. Small note - Very bright lights in the restaurant in the evening made it feel more like a fast food facility rather than a relaxing atmosphere. But, food was great & staff were fab. Also was quite noisy at the front with traffic, but views made up for it.

Stayed on the 7th floor, room 220, and what a fabulous view of the bay! 🌊✨ And as for the trains that passed by at night… it was like something out of an anime movie! 🚆❤️ It was honestly so, so special. I chose this hotel because it was only about a 10-minute walk from SVPH, as we had travelled from Cavan for the hospital and stayed for two nights. But coming back each evening to that beautiful view of the bay, with the trains tipping up and down, was just magical. I actually left the curtains open and fell asleep watching the trains go by as it grew dark. Romantic, if you like that sort of thing! 😍 Breakfast was beautiful, with plenty of everything. The interior décor is just gorgeous, and honestly, I could not fault the place. We got a great deal on Booking.com, but I’ve noticed you have to be quick when you see a good price! Underground parking was €13, but hey, your car is safe and secure. 🚗 Would I go back? Absolutely! ❤️ Definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great hotel. Clean and new. Easy access for public transportation. 1 bus to the city. Room service was excellent. Newer bathrooms etc. I'd certainly return.

The location

La chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié les bouteilles d’eau et les biscuits renouvelés chaque matin et pas seulement le jour de notre arrivée. L’emplacement n’est pas central mais l’hôtel est très bien desservi par les transports. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Petit déjeuner très varié. J’ai particulièrement aimé le porridge préparé à la demande.

Small room - I was alone and was suggested a double + single bed room which took a lot of space for a single person when one single bed would have been sufficient. The pillow was very hard and thick and I had neck pain after sleeping.

Lovely staff.

Very nice staff at the reception desk. They were very kind to upgrade my reservation to sea view room, with more spacious bathroom as I was on crutches it was more comfortable for me. I stayed there on few separate reservations last few weeks and I’d recommend.
