Free parking and rooms sound proof which was good as next busy road!

No air in rooms would not like to stay there in the summer. Twin beds not comfortable also they are going cash free soon I think that’s disgusting!

Super friendly staff and service. We have stayed here for many years as a stopover on our way home from France. This has always been a super friendly and accommodating place to stay.

Location perfect for our needs.

Excellent location, all staff were very pleasant and helpful. Both evening meal and breakfast were superb. Highly recommend.

Convenient for where I was going

Well ,The Ibis is not a Hotel , it is a "Motel ". We were given room 38, on the lower floor level ,next to the end room of the two story block of rooms . It was very noisy as we were very close to a busy round about leading to the A38. Traffic noise mostly all ight . It was quite a walk from our room plus steps to the restaurant /reception and bar . We were able to park in front of room if there was a space and more steps ("with out hand rail " ) from car level to room . If it been winter or raining you had to walk out side to get breakfast (we did not do this ) . We found easier to eat else where, on our way to visit friends . (The purpose of our visit to plymouth . On the Plus side the room was very clean and and serviced daily . This really is not the place to stay if you have walking difficulties , specially with the lack of "hand rails but steps " On check out, I did remark about the lack of hand rails at most sets of steps and was told there are ramps in several places . We did not eat at the Ibis so can not comment on this . I close the Ibis as it was close to the friends who we were visiting and for this reason it served our purpose I'm giving this review as truthful as i can .

Location.

Knew things should be okay with Ibis, but this was probably the most basic one I have stayed in. The weather was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning. The price was very high for something so basic, which is my main gripe. Everything would have been satisfactory if the price had been about 30% lower.

We could park there, friendly welcome.

Right by a busy main road, and no air con so had to have the window open. Hardly slept a wink. Not worth 90 quid, room only. Room very small, accessed from outside.

Bed was comfortable. The food menu + the bar offered a good choice. The lounge area by reception is also comfortable.

The main issue with ithe accomodation was noise from the nearby dual carriageway. My wife found that the lighting outside of our accommodation was too bright: the curtains and blinds were unable to block this out sufficiently. My beefburger was a bit dry.

Clean

I was in a room suitable for disabled people as I have limited mobility. The shower had a large step into it which I couldn’t manage. Traffic noise.

It was close to where I was working

The smell in the room 0 it was so bad and smelled really bad of dogs. It was far too hot and the room was so small and the bed had a mattress tope on it because the mattress was sagging.

Well located with a bus stop just a few yards away to get into Plymouth. Clean, welcoming. Buffet breakfast provided ample selection.

The position of one of the single beds in the room resulted in the main light to be switched on/off by movement of the pillow against the headboard, and the pull-cord was also in a poor position.

In an industrial area, but for what we used it for nothing to put us off staying again.

Conveniently located, the room & bathroom were clean, the bed was very comfortable and, although the bathroom and shower cubicle were decent the actual shower itself was just about acceptable. My partner had the breakfast which he said was good quality and good value. The staff we encountered were all very pleasant. We have no complaints and we would stay here again.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Any questions you have they answer. This was my 2nd time at this hotel, and would choose it again.

Maybe have extra sheets in the cupboard, as personally I don't like quilts, so this time I took my own sheet. It's saved me pestering the staff for more sheet. Even though I knew they would have brought them.

The staff were so lovely especially the staff who were at the bar, they couldn’t have been nicer and so helpful. The evening meal was superb as was the breakfast.

Normally we get breakfast included in price. This time even though we asked for a double bed, we ended up with singles, room at rear of car park. When we parked in disabled bay, even though I have a badge, we were asked to move.

Noisy, guests were walking past window all night on phone to another room. Shouting and getting in and out of open back truck, other friends joining them and banging doors. Carpark on a slope, just no rest.

There were a few tradesman staying, it smelt like one of the guests was smoking weed. Could only smell it for a short period thankfully

All Staff were friendly and helpful. This type of accommodation is not "my usual choice", however I was more than happy with everything at Ibis, Plymouth. I will definitely return.

Perhaps a more organised layout for the breakfast items would make it easier to find what was wanted.

The location was great after getting off the ferry and travelling up north in the morning. The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful when I left my phone behind and it was posted back to me.

The room was very clean but there was a slight musty smell - possibly due to the extremely hot weather of late.

I did not like that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was very hot inside. There was a fan, but even though it was running constantly, the room remained uncomfortably hot.

The hotel is very dog friendly and the rooms allow instant access to.the car park and grass area. The hotel also has a bar area / restaurant in which dogs are allowed into.

There were only bath towels in the rooms a hand towel would have been useful .

The room had no air con but it did have a working table fan.

We liked the motel feel, all the rooms facing one way and only 1 story high the bar and restaurant area was lovely, very relaxed and calm. Our room was great, plenty of space, great bathroom, and very clean. The food was nice, very reasonably priced too.

The location is better for us as we go to visit family x3s a year.

We have stayed at least 5xs before this visit but this time the room was dirty. Glass peices weve found under the bed by the headboard. We csme with a little dog very dangerous. The bath mat was black and grimey but the mat it self was mesnt to be cream. The person whom cleaned the room the day after didnt even clean the bathroom sink. Ive never had an issue before apart from this visit. We were woken up by banging in the early hours of the morning which then woke our dog up whom began to bark which then poceeded to wake the person next door to us up.
