Clean room Good location

Had room lock malfunction twice Had to go down to reveption 7 times to get it sirted, they were not proactive to come up and sort it, each time they gave me a new card to try Had to go back an forth 7 times Till they agreed to come up.when they did it took 30 seconda for them

Location excellent, free parking, quiet

Bathroom had a double usage for door, which was slightly annoying. Shower curtain, which never completes off the water from coming out the bath. Toilet seat very loose, incorrect nut used on fitting

The room was good. The staff were very helpful. It had everything we needed for the purpose of our stay.

The airconditioning unit in the dining room was very loud - really roaring when sitting in certain parts of the room. I wish the coffee machine had fresh milk not long life milk in it. Really not big issues.

Perfect location for us visiting friends nearby. Friendly welcome at reception. Lovely beds, shower was great and rooms immaculate and very spacious. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice

My husband has mobility issues and the lift buyton on the fourth floor was not working. A nktice said to call reception , this did not work. A cleaner said to go to third floor where the button works. Not great for soneone who struggles to walk.

We were on 4th floor and throughout our stay the call button was out of order so either had to walk down to 3rd floor to call lift or phone reception to bring lift up to us Unfortunately there was an air of sadness as many of the staff had lost there jobs due to take over by Premier Inns

Lovely room, staff very pleasant, restaurant and bar hours openend late into the evening, shower execellent.

I think we were on the top floor at the very end of the corridor with two windows in our room and the noise from the extractor (kitchen) was detrimental to sleep! It was difficult to open the second window to any degree. If I booked this hotel again - and I thought it was very good and adjacent to a very good shopping outlet, including M&S Food, I would request a room away from the horrible extractor fan which really ruined my nights sleep. Hubby slept with earplugs.

It’s in a good location. Nice sized rooms & generally good facilities.

If the staff were more friendly I would have been able to give a glowing review but we had a couple of encounters where we experienced rudeness and a generally bad attitude. It’s a shame because this put a dampener on what was otherwise a pleasant hotel.

I've been a few times and overall it's been good with every room. Friendly, helpful staff, clean and welcoming. I like car park is next to it

The lift to the 4th floor wasn’t working, had to call for the lift to be sent up, a little inconvenient when I needed to go at 6.30 in the morning and had to wait for reception to send the lift up

Have stayed here twice whilst walking the SWCP. Nice, well appointed, big rooms and friendly staff. Much better than similar chain hotels and very good value for money. Can also walk to M&S football.

Bad experience with staff whilst checking in as they were head counting, found this very disrespectful, never experienced this as we stay all over the world. During our stay it was constant hard work as one of the room given was not as per our booking which means we had one less bed. They said they couldn’t do anything about it and was very dismissive. They did not provide enough bedding for sofa bed which made some family members cold during first night. The manager working in the morning Sandra was much more understanding and sorted it next day. Also one room had a humming sound which led the morning manager to change room in which case she spoke on the phone to me & said both rooms people will receive breakfast as complimentary, however Alison afternoon manager was adamant that it was for one room only then found out on msg it was said for both rooms.

I had a Kate breakfast and everything was dried up. I wanted a laté coffee but the machine had run out of milk, and when one of the staff proceeded a a cup it was bitter The WiFi worked only intermittently on floor 3

The parking was convenient, right outside the front of the reception, it was a quick check in and lifts to the rooms. The room was very big with comfy beds for us and the children.

The receptionist on arrival wasn't the friendliest(check in) The check out girl was lovely though.

Location is easy and free parking is plentiful which is a bonus.

We arrived slightly early and we were told our room wasn't available yet (which was totally fair) but were told it wouldn't be long. However, after an hour it still wasn't ready and every 5/10 minutes we were told "just another 5 minutes". Several guests arrived at check in time to be told the same so I suspect there were cleaning issues that day. I completely understand this causes stress but front of house staff literally get paid to be friendly and the 2 staff on reception couldn't even crack a smile, let alone offer any apology. The lad on desk was there for checkout the next morning and was outside taking a phone call in spite of a queue of 4 people when we needed to leave, coming back in without so much as a "morning" or "sorry to keep you". The beds weren't comfortable, the toilet struggled to flush, there wasn't enough milk for more than 1 drink. We got married in this hotel 15 years ago so come back for nostalgia but I'm sorry to say I think this was our last visit.

Air conditioning/ heater system is not working. Room was filled with mouldy smell. Only halved open window was the ventilation. No fridge. But the reception staff said they were not allowed to keep our food in their fridge. When I asked for ice, they gave me a bucket and I had to cool my food down in ice for the night but barely helped with that method though. Due to poor ventilation and mouldy smell, I did not have good sleep.

The room was a good size and the hotel in general was quiet given its location.

Both the main desk and housekeeping were very reserved with regards to refilling the tea and coffee, in particular the white sugar which seemed to have been rationed.

room was dusty, and not cleaned well enough compared to other stays. housekeeping could not understand me when i asked how much longer they would be before we could get back into a clean room. we had to wait four hours. White stains on brown materials on bedding(hate to think what that was). Phone in the room did not work. Bathroom was not cleaned well enough. Such a shame, we have stayed with you three times before and always had a really good stay. Not sure why, as a guest you have to pay more for breakfast if you do not book in advance, if we are staying as a guest why do that!? All reported to reception Sunday morning, she wasn't really interested and nothing done about it. Such a shame, we have stayed with you three times before and always had a really good stay. This would make me think twice about booking again sadly.

Pessima esperienza, siamo arrivati e ci è stata assegnata una camera sporca e con una macchia di urina sotto al letto che puzzava parecchio. Ovviamente ci siamo fatti cambiare stanza, ma anche quest'ultima comunque non era molto pulita. Purtroppo in tutta l'Inghilterra la pulizia non è perfetta soprattutto per la presenza della moquette, ma questo hotel è proprio sporco. Ho frequentato spesso hotel di questa catena in diverse città europee, mai trovato un disagio e una sporcizia del genere. Terribile per noi.

We used the Future Inn to stay the night before our ferry. Was a great stay. Very quiet and plenty of parking spaces which are included in the price of the stay. Lovely hotel with a restaurant. We didn't use the restaurant but it is very handy to have this facility on site.

My bed didn’t look clean and the sheets weren’t ironed and it just had a bit of a tired feeling about it. Also at dinner, they asked our room number when people were standing behind us which, as a woman travelling on your own, made you feel a bit unsafe especially after all the press.

Excellent location! Recurring visitor and will continue to do so. Brilliant breakfast and good value for money.

The Hotel is equipped air conditioning, it was wonderful. Although no refrigerator inside the room, you could ask from the front desk or bar in the restaurant. The gym room is not big and no air conditioning, but 2 small fans are provided.

Car park seems not enough, far from the town centre. After confirmed staying at Future Inn, I sent email twice before my trip and enquired about laundry service, no answer about this and only received an offer to ask me to book breakfast in advance. That’s the problem on your customer service.

Location near to ferry port, parking and bed and breakfast. Good size room for both of us. Availability of access to a fridge for my unopened insulin pens.

We had a lovely clean and spacious room. The free parking was great. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

There was a variety of breakfast items this included a full breakfast, cereal, toast, fruit, pancakes and omelette. The reception staff where really polite and listen to me about 2 different occasions that the cleaning staff had left things in room. However once speaking to them this was quickly rectified. The staff throughout our stay was very pilicte and friendly. Where the inn is situated is ideal as you have a cafe, range and a few other necessity shops.

We had a few problems with the cleaning on one occasion they left the dirty linen in the room and also the recycling that a note on the shelf suggested leaving on the desk. Having a little fridge in the room would be ideal as it is really difficult tk be able to keep drinks scold especially for children. Also more draws and hangers for clothes as i was travelling with 2 children and we only had 2 draws and 4 or 5 hangers.
