Die Nähe zur Autofähre ist perfekt. das IBIS ist für eine Nacht absolut in Ordnung, nicht perfekt, aber zum schlafen ausreichend. Wir waren schon das dritte mal dort und kommen auch gerne wieder.

Absolutely 1000 mosquitos in our our room . We couldn’t sleep and no aircon . The hotel is near the river . With no facilities to to avoid mosquitoes. Super uncomfortable.

Das Hotel ist sauber und gut eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Frühstücksraum mit Außenbereich, wo man auch abends sitzen kann. Es gibt Getränke zu kaufen. Der Parkplatz ist groß und eingezäunt.

Überall sind Schilder mit Hinweisen, was man nicht tun soll. Im Hotelzimmer liegen etliche Schilder (laminierte Ausdrucke) mit Regeln und Verboten. Das ist nicht sehr einladend und vieles versteht sich von selbst.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food at the restaurant was excellent.

The hotel is old and on desperate need of a refurbishment. It wasn’t the cleanest either. For the price I expected better.

Hier ist die Nähe zum LeShuttle Terminal ausschlaggebend, ca. 10 - 15 Minuten. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend.

Gute Lage, in 5 min ist man beim Check in der Fähren, in ca. 25 min ist man zu Fuß im Zentrum. Calais ist ein nettes Städtchen und sollte auch angeschaut werden ( es verdient nicht, nur als Fährhafen gesehen zu werden) , also etwas Zeit einplanen

With Ibis whose chain I have used all over Europe does what it says on the tin, you always know what your going to get, the staff are always cheerful and helpful

Läget i ett slitet område utanför Calais.Rummen jättesmå och slitna. Vi kunde inte öppna resväskorna på golvytan som fanns över. Mögel i taket ovanför duschen. Endast en personal synlig när vi checkade in en söndag. Väldigt stressad och osocial person.

Good parking. Easy to find with sat nav. Close to well signposted ferry port. Pleasant enclosed patio to enjoy a beer etc. Restaurant for evening meal is quite good. Bed large and comfortable. Bathroom clean. Ferry too early to try the breakfast but probably quite good.

Bedrooms quite small. Parts of ground floor a bit dated with several store rooms on view. Patio furniture needs replacing.

Pillow case was slightly dirty. Shower in the morning wasn't hot. Corridor smelled badly of dogs.

Terrible room! Dirty, small, and badly in need of proper renovation. The pillowcases were dirty. The staff were unfriendly and didn’t even provide any information about breakfast. The soundproofing is terrible. You can hear people sneezing and talking as if they were right inside your room. Simply the worst hotel.

The restaurant was not open for our stay, there was no lift. The one staff member we saw wasnt even helpful to a elderly gentleman trying to get his suitcase up the stairs. The hotel smelt damp and mouldy. Nothing much around the hotel. Grounds were dirty and unkept. No security in car park. Worrying. Bed was uncomfy. We only stayed due to tiredness from our car journey. Or we would of moved on to somewhere else.

Both breakfast and dinner were excellent - unusual for budget hotel! Room had all we needed for quick overnight stop.

The property is not clean, at all. Staff was not friendly and make us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast was not up to standard, few choices and not many options

Everything for one night stay before catching ferry was good

Nothing to do with the hotel but we followed signs for car ferry from hotel which were useless. Future guests follow the a16 sign.

The location and purpose of our stay was sufficient. A one night stay close to the LeShuttle so we did not had to rush or drive a long way before getting on the train. Also we were alowed to take our dog where we even could take him into the restaurant for breakfast.

The hotel is out dated with very small rooms and is located in a doubtful area but we didn't felt unsafe.

Corridor outside the room needed a good clean & some air freshener, and the hotel is getting a bit tired

Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy. Bed was good.

We would have liked some milk with the coffe/tea facilities in the room. There was not a small towel that I could have around my hair when coming out of the shower. We had a feeling that we might have had a room on top of a laundrette or some thing like that, as there was a feeling of the washing machine spinning. When people talked out side the room, it was as if they were in the room with us. After having driven since the evening before and all through the night and day, we just wanted to have some tea/coffee and see some television. However, there was not one single channel in a language we understood! Only in French. I know we were in France, but if you stay at a hotel in Germany, Holland, Denmark etc. there are various channel with different languages to choose between. This was very disappointing.

Amplasarea locației aproape de port, personalul cald și deschis tuturor străinilor, restaurantul deschis toată ziua ( f.f. important pentru cei care ajung seara și nu mai au alte opțiuni de luat cina în oraș). E locația perfectă pentru o noapte, înainte de-a te urca pe feribot sau de-a porni la un drum lung prin Europa.

Cameră mică, mobilier vechi, priveliștea de la geamul mic, nu tocmai plăcută, baia ciudată ( parcă eram într-o capsulă minusculă, închisă, undeva în univers), și ce era cel mai ciudat, UȘILE groaznic de grele ( mai ales pentru cei vârstnici).

After a long drive I was pleased to see that tea/coffee was available in the room, but I was mystified that milk was not provided. I asked the receptionist and she gave me some in a paper cup. Our evening meal in the restaurant was excellent.

When we initially arrived the receptionist didn't smile and was very abrupt with us. She did however become more friendly as the evening went on when we were eating in the restaurant.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming and value for money. Really enjoyed our stay, service is professional but friendly and relaxed.

We were very disappointed with the size of the room, we have a medium sized dog and there wasn't room for our luggage, ourselves and the dog. Very basic.

Handy location near to the ferry and channel tunnel. Stayed here a couple of times and on both occasions it's been very clean and the staff have been friendly on my arrival.

Convenient location for using LeShuttle. Free parking on site which is helpful. Everything was fine, nothing particular to mention. Nice to have tea/coffee in the room. Decent shower and helpful staff. It's what you'd expect from an Ibis!

Rooms were small, grounds untidy (cigarette butts and dog poo on grassed areas. No security barriers and in a rough part of town. Window catch broken (room 210) room far too hot, there was a heatwave but there was no fan either.

Wir brauchten eine Unterkunft für die Nacht vor der Tunnelfahrt nach Folkestone (mit Hund), von der aus wir vorher noch Calais erkunden konnten - und genau das hat uns das Hotel geboten.

Parking is free and right outside the door. Convenient for the channel crossing. A kettle and a multi-way socket in the room. Good showers.

Room was cramped once our luggage was installed. Flickering light in the bathroom (room 11) but nobody to tell as we departed. Used the bar and outside space for a nightcap but cleanliness was not good. 11 tables, 2 occupied, 6 dirty some with glasses and full ash trays that were not cleared for 45 minutes and even then not cleaned; it was not busy at the time. Maintenance is lacking.

We were looking for an overnight stay both ways on our holiday with two dogs ( needs area for walking) along with easy eating availability. We had previously used the Campanile hotel over the canal, but it was beginning to show signs of wear and tear, and the meal provision was not so robust as before. So we tried somewhere else.

Hôtel à 15 minutes des embarquements des ferry. Très pratique quand on part tôt. Il y a un restaurant sur place, ce qui est appréciable.

The water in the bathroom wasn't quite hot enough and the shower screen doesn't stop water from flooding the bathroom. The area isn't great for eating out although the local friterie was very friendly and good value.
