Really comfortable bed, quiet area and easy to park on the street. A walking distance to the Calais centre. Extremely friendly staff.

All good, but if I have to say a suggestion, the room feels a bit dim and it could do with a refurbish.

The location is very good, it is just behind the railway station and right next to the bus station which makes commuting in and out easy with the shuttle bus to and from the ferry port up the street. The welcome was warm and helpful. The rooms were relatively clean. Pricing is fair given the location.

The rooms we were in looked nothing like the photos, very dated hotel and there's a lot of neglect across the building and the shower curtains were covered in mould. The hotel is in a bad state and being a historical hotel I find it appalling that it is being left to rot. There are no rules enforced with people making noise right up to 4am, smoking and shouting out their windows and banging. The breakfast is 12.99 per person; complete waste of money! The breakfast in question is a few slices of generic cheese and a couple of yogurts. They offered us; scrambled egg or an omelette. My travel partner had the scrambled egg where I had the omelette. No flavour, overcooked liquid egg. Two mouthfuls and it was left and we went for a better breakfast down the street.

Convenient location.

The toilet seat has no leg room. All walls, carpet and furniture are ageing. The room is very small, dark and has odd smell. The pillows are uncomfortable.

L'odeur au rez de chaussée de remontée d'égout, les feuilles de tapisserie se décollent dans la salle de petit déjeuner ainsi que dans les chambres. Dans le chambres pas de douche mais une vieille baignoire, équipement et décoration très vieillissants ! La moquette des chambres est douteuse...

Het was een vrij verouderd hotel, maar dat gaf het charme. Het personeel was aangenaam.

- €14 voor een ontbijt waar de vliegen een feest op houden, kan je met een gerust hart overpriced noemen. - de garage die geadverteerd wordt, is helemaal niet beschikbaar voor gasten. We mochten mooi onze auto op de parking van het busstation pleuren. - de badkamer was enorm verouderd en hygiëne was een nagedachte. - de kamer stonk naar sigarettenrook - de centrale verwarming werkte niet en de kamer opwarmen met het oubollige elektrische vuurtje in de badkamer was zeker en vast een leuk tijdsverdrijf.

It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The manager was very helpful and the fact there was a locked garage was great. We did not have breakfast do can’t comment on that.

Nice hotel in the centre of town. Secure parking if required or side street parking outside hotel entrance. Very pleasant staff. Great for a one night stopover.

Location, parking and staff. Very nice to see a lady return having mislaid a sentimental necklace and within a minute it was located and handed back.

Bathrooms a little tired but this wouldn’t stop me returning for a third stopover before ferry home

Breakfast food was limited e.g. allergens. But main issue was charging individual full breakfast price, for each member (including children) for all staying in one family room was excessive. It added a quarter of the stay bill and didn't feel right.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Good location, 15min walk from the centre and 10min walk from Eurotunnel. Easy to park outside. Super comfortable bed and you have all facilities you need.

Location was good and the option for secure parking for motorcycles

The bathroom is in need of a makeover. The shower is useless, the toilet seat moved at least six inches and the toilet is so close to the wall it's almost impossible to sit down. The bedroom lights are very dim.

Very convenient location (10 mins tops from the tunnel exit), 24 hour reception with very friendly staff, off street parking, good value for money, there was a lift so we didn’t have to carry our case up the stairs. Perfect for what we needed.

Location good, close to centre and had secured parking (although we couldn't take advantage of it, it was fully booked). Staff supplied all we needed for tea in our room and we were moved to a quiet room at our request.

Verder hele kleine kamer, bedompt en muffig hotel, douchen in bad, zonder haakje om de douchekop op te hangen, wel schoon….

We did not have the in-house breakfast but it smelled nice Had drinks at the bar, half litre of Jupiler (basic lager) €6 and Gin & Tonic €11.50.

Toilet seat only held on one side, so quite perilous! Sink water didn’t drain. Tried to plunger with palm which helped, just a bit Bath rather than shower which would have been nice, but the water flow was so slow we couldn’t use it. TV had just 2 English channels. The French channels were just dubbed terrible American “dramas”. With subtitles I could understand them, which was worse. Best thing on was (dubbed) Big Bang Theory, an American triumph! Twin beds, so very separate! Really liked the 4 leather library chairs in the entrance area.

The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for a short stay. The location was excellent; round the corner from Calais Ville station and 10 minutes by taxi to the ferry terminal. There is a shuttle bus for foot passengers but unfortunately we had to be at the terminal earlier than the first bus. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were only here one night and arrived early evening, so did not see much of the hotel. The ground floor seemed a little 'tired' and possibly needs updating.

No iron available, no food other than breakfast. Bath with shower attachment but no proper shower. I booked a small 2 person room, thought more like a small one person room!

24/7 Reception, opozite railstation parking , It is a parking opozite rail and hotel, i don t know if is hotel or private place but no penalty , so ok.

They ask for breakfast €30, for 2 persons, but we had very poor options in the morning all I can chose was a cofee , and i found 3 croissants on a plate some juice , my wife had only coffe for €30 ????

Great secure motorbike parking and short walk into town

I stayed there a week earlier and internet was not working well. I messaged to check all ok as was going to cancel but I was told all ok. When I got there no internet…..again!

Bar lounge area was very comfy. Decor was very in keeping with the age of the building.

It smelt really unpleasant in the room and the hotel itself. We sprayed the room and it still did not get rid of the smell. There was also no wifi in the room. We asked the staff about the wifi and he was not much help.

Sans oublier les petits chaussons. Système de chauffage, sèche-cheveux et baignoire dans la 322 dans la salle de bain. Volets avec rideaux occultants. TV avec chaînes TNT, canal+, ... Généreux en serviette de bain.

A szoba nagyon kicsi volt, kb akkora mint a franciaágy, ami benne volt, de az is a legkisebb méretű, éppen hogy körbe lehetett járni az ágyat. A fürdőszoba kb múlt század beli, linóleum a padló, semmi nem volt felújítva, nagyon gáz volt, a tisztaság is hagyott némi kívánnivalót…

Bij het inchecken was onze kamer blijkbaar al gegeven aan een andere persoon met een gelijkaardige naam.

Personeel was erg aardig en parkeren kan voor de deur.

De kamer was erg vervallen, het raam wou niet goed open en de badkamer was erg gedateerd en niet schoon.

Leblosen und unaufmerksamer Service beim Frühstück. Flocken und Knäckebrot in aufgerissenen Tüten, Käse und Wurst offen im Kühlschrank und entsprechend trocken. Keine Gabeln zum Entnehmen. Im Bad kaum Platz für die Beine vor der Toilette. Für Menschen über 1,76 völlig ungeeignet.

El personal muy amable, el hotel tiene un aire vintage se nota que han ido mejorándolo desde los años 20 cuando lo abrieron pero dejando toques clásicos como los radiadores de hierro fundido decorado o los paneles de madera tallada del comedor.

el cuarto de baño necesita una reforma a fondo.
