The room was comfortable and the secure car park was big enough for my car and trailer. It was a half hour walk into old Annecy with plenty of restaurants. Although we were only meant to breakfast with our dog on the terrace, as it had rained the staff were happy to have her in the breakfast area.

When we were there the restaurant was not open in the evening and there were no good dining options on the door step.

Het personeel was totaal niet vriendelijk en was helemaal niet opgeleid. Om 9.15 was er al helemaal niets meer van brood, dus geen ontbijt. We konden niet buiten ontbijten omdat het personeel te lui was om de vuile tafels af te wassen en klaar te zetten. Ik vraag mij echt af hoe zo een hotel aan vier sterren komt, twee was meer dan genoeg geweest:

Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Zimmer war sauber und der Roomservice hat die Minibar täglich aufgefüllt.

Das Frühstück war für ein 4 Sterne-Hotel zu einfach aber man wurde satt. Die Servicekräfte beim Frühstück waren nicht besonders freundlich. Es gab immer dasselbe (2 Wurstsorten und Lachs). Das Rührei war z. B. nicht genießbar, da es zu flüssig war. Der Kaffee war wässrig und qualitativ nicht gut. Für das, was das Hotel ist, ist es preislich zu teuer. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr klein und vom ungeheizten Pool waren die Kinder enttäuscht.

Die Lage war sehr gut für den Zwischenhalt mit dem Auto. Das Frühstück war sehr ansprechend mit guter Auswahl.

Personnel très sympatique et serviable, chambres grandes et confortable, chien bien accueilli, parking gratuit et sécurisé (nous avons pu laisser nos vélos sur le porte-vélos sans crainte), petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix, piscine propre et assez grande.

La porte de la salle de bain ne ferme pas de manière isolée, donc vous partagez tout avec l'autre personne. Les toilettes mériteraient d'être détartrées et il y avait des toiles d'araignées avec araignées au plafond. L'emplacement n'est pas idéal si vous n'avez pas de véhicule car le trajet à pied jusqu'au centre ville n'est pas rassurant.

Douchen in bad was wat onhandig, een aparte douche zou comfortabeler zijn.

L’accueil était très bien et le personnel aux petits soins, la propreté de la chambre était agréable et reste bien insonorisée des bruits extérieurs (sauf les étrangers qui parlent très fort dans le couloir de bon matin !) L’hôtel ne se situe pas à Annecy mais est à 15 min à peu près du centre en voiture ce qui reste quand même accessible facilement et il y a aussi le bus à côté de l’hôtel.

L’hotel reste entre le bord de route et les immeubles. Le petit déjeuner en terrasse est à côté de la piscine mais il y a le bruit des voitures en fond. Et 20€ pour le petit déjeuner est un peu cher par rapport à ce qui est proposé, c’est dommage.

Très décevant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles Plusieurs points inacceptables lors de notre séjour : -Odeur d’humidité tenace dans la chambre. - Linge de maison négligé (serviettes fournies encore humides). -Manque d’hygiène flagrant dans la salle de bain et les toilettes (présence de cheveux et traces sur la cuvette). Service client non conforme : absence de gel douche à notre arrivée, et la réception nous a demandé d'effectuer le remplacement nous-mêmes. En résumé, l'établissement ne respecte absolument pas les standards et le standing attendus d'un 4 étoiles.

Equipement haut de gamme, complet, raffiné…Le SPA était super, la piscine aussi…Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, lit King size extra…

La fenêtre de notre chambre surplombait une grille technique sous laquelle il devait y avoir une Clim, les compresseurs des frigos… bref bruit sourd permanent impossible de garder fenêtre ouverte…évitez la ch 224 !

Freie Parkplätze. Inneneinrichtung hat uns positiv überrascht, das hatten wir nicht erwartet nach der äußeren Erscheinung. In der Nacht war es sehr ruhig. Die Betten waren gut und das Badezimmer ordentlich groß.

Das Zimmer war ok. Im Schlafraum ein Teppichboden. Es fehlten Handtücher, dafür hatte es je zwei Duschtücher. Am zweiten Tag gab es statt Handtücher zwei Bodentücher. Der wasserdruck in der Dusche war schwach. Das Restaurant hat nicht überzeugt. Abends ein Menü mit wenig Auswahl. Die Qualität würde ich als essbar bezeichnen, aber eines Hotels dieser Klasse nicht würdig. Das Frühstück war eher mager. Eine gute Station für Crêpes fiel sehr positiv auf. Ebenso positiv das sehr gute Brot und eine Nesspresso Kaffeemaschine. Die Auswahl insgesamt aber schlecht. Generell waren die Teller schmutzig und Schöpfbesteck nicht überall vorhanden. Das Personal war zwar freundlich, aber eher unorganisiert. Die Lage war nicht sehr weit vom Zentrum, ca. 35 Minuten zu Fuß. Aber auch mit Navi nur schwer zu finden, schlecht Signalisiert in einer eher hässlichen Umgebung. Der angepriesene Bus ins Zentrum war ca. 10 Minuten entfernt, der Weg dahin war ein sehr schmaler und dunkler, von Büschen überwachsener Gehweg direkt der Straße entlang. Wir konnten in diesem Hotel gut übernachten und wir sind nicht verhungert. Bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt in sehr schönen Annecy würden wir aber ein anderes Hotel wählen

תשמרו קבלות כי אותנו רצו ביציאה לחייב על ארוחת ערב ששילמנו- מזל ששמרתי קבלה. בנוסף למרות שלא הזמנו ארוחת בוקר ניסו לחייב אותנו על אחד הבקרים. ארוחת ערב שהזמנו הייתה חוויה לא טובה. שכחו אותנו למעלה מחצי שעה כשאורחים שהגיעו 20 דקות אחרינו כבר קיבלו את האוכל. כשהזכרנו להם הם רק התחילו להכין והביאו אוכל שבושל יתר על המידה ולא היה אכיל. בזמן הזה נגמרו חלק מהקינוחים. כרטיסים בעייתיים-כל פעם היינו צריכים לקודד מחדש את כרטיס החדר (לא הוחזק בתא בתיק שצמוד למכשיר נייד). בסוף אחת העובדות בקבלה הודתה שיש להם בעייה ואמרה לנו שכל פעם נבוא לקידוד מחדש. חבל שלא אמרו לנו מההתחלה היה חוסך לנו הליכות חוזרות מהחדר

La proximité d Annecy centre

Il y a eu un incident la première nuit avec évacuation de l’hôtel en pleine nuit … bien que le personnel de nuit a bien réagit et la gestion du lendemain a été catastrophique avec des chambres sans eau ou Elec ou els deux certains ont pu être reloger d autre non mais le pb est que c est un 4 étoiles donc les prestations n y était pas du tt sur le séjour … on ne peut pas laisser reposer l organisation générale sur des saisonniers

La chambre mérite un peu de remise en beauté et surtout un sèche serviette… surtout qu’avec la piscine plus le spa tellement important… car résultat le maillot de bain était toujours un peu humide le lendemain matin

The room was great, as were the staff and facilities. Air conditioning was great. Access to water fountains was very much appreciated. Food and pool access were all good, and the spa was lovely.

My bathroom door was broken and didn't close properly, and the staff forgot to put my room down for cleaning each day. But neither of those things impacted my stay much at all.

Frequent travelers to Europe will know how rare a good a/c in Europe is. Either it barely cools or is only allowed to be used in July and August or the thermostat is so needlessly complicated it needs an instructional manual. Often it’s argued that it’s for the sake of being green yet these same hotels will blast the heat in the winter. That doesn’t use electricity? Oh well, cultural differences and all that… Having just stayed at a hotel without a/c during a heatwave we felt like we had returned to civilization. The room had a mini-fridge. The room was spacious. The carpet and furniture were in very good condition, perhaps new. There was plenty of parking, which was free. Our Privilege room had a complimentary bottle of Coke, still water, apricot juice and grapefruit juice in the min-fridge. There was a water filtration unit in the corridor that dispensed cool water. The bartender was very nice about obliging our request for a glass of ice. There were a myriad of prepared food choices available for purchase in the lobby. We love this feature of many Accor hotels. There were also many choices of ice cream novelties available for purchase. So many amenities present to ensure a very comfortable stay. However, housekeeping fell short. The interior of the mini-fridge needed a quick wipe-down. However, far more egregious was the disgusting state of the toilet. The entire bottom of the bowl was covered in a thick layer of a brown substance we decided was an algae. We had seen some brownish algae in toilet bowls in public washrooms on a rare occasion. We’ve stayed in many Accor properties in various countries and know that they’re a bit quirky when updating properties. For example, last month we stayed at the Fairmont Jasper Lodge in Canada. Our cabin was completely updated but the baseboards and bathroom door weren’t replaced or painted. They were chipped and dirty. So we chalked it up to an old decrepit toilet. To our horror, we noticed pieces of brown matter detaching and floating to the surface. We then realized it wasn’t fungus but it was fecal matter. It was too late in the evening to request housekeeping. We took a cup, filled it with warm soapy water and poured it in the toilet. After setting for a couple of hours the fecal matter was loosened and most of it was able to be flushed out. I am a very frequent traveler and this is the filthiest bathroom I’ve ever encountered traveling the world. All the amenities on offer at this fantastic hotel could not compensate for this disgusting experience.

We are a family of four from Denmark travelling through France on a four-week road trip, always looking for comfortable hotels that combine quality, relaxation and a family-friendly atmosphere. We originally hoped to stay here for two nights while exploring Annecy, but unfortunately the hotel was only available for one night. After our stay, we completely understand why it is so popular 🌟 Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Our family room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a separate sleeping area for the children, giving everyone a little extra privacy. Small touches such as bathrobes in the bathroom made the stay feel even more comfortable, and the room was beautifully presented. Another highlight was the pool. We had it entirely to ourselves, which felt like pure luxury after a day of sightseeing around Annecy. It was the perfect place to relax, and our children absolutely loved it. The only improvement we can mention is that the hotel was surprisingly difficult to find, even with GPS. Clearer signage would make arrival much easier. Overall, this was one of our favourite hotels during our road trip through France. We genuinely wish we had been able to stay longer, and we would not hesitate to book this hotel again on a future visit to Annecy.

Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr aufmerksam, vorallem die junge Dame mit den Locken und der junge Herr am Samstag Nachmittag! Alle sehr hilfsbereit und gut gelaunt! Das Bett war sehr bequem!! Klimaanlage perfekt eingestellt, direkte abkühlung im Zimmer bei 39 grad draussen… Wir durften den Pool vor dem Check in nutzen, perfekt!

Diese Eingangstüre für die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss wurde immer zugeknallt.. evtl mit einem Senor oder so versehen? damit sie selbst auf und zu geht! Und die Zimmerkarte/ Schloss, war nicht angeschrieben, dass mamn die Karte schnell rein und raus schieben muss. Entweder anderes System oder Erklärung an der Zimmertüre!

The breakfast exceeded our expectations.

The location was really hard to find and didn't feel safe, not to mention not-nice at all. The hotel facade looks like a temporary accommodation for construction workers (almost as if it's made out of shipping containers). Room amenities were ok, but the room was not too clean and the lobby area looked dated. Quite a disappointment after a beautiful day at Annecy lake.

We only booked for 2 nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, wouldn't normally spend this much so was expecting extremely good value for money. We paid extra for breakfast which was shocking! Hardly anything to choose from. We had access to the spa included in our room cost. We booked the time slot we wanted & went into the spa to find it so busy we couldn't get a lounger! We we're only given paper cups in the room. So although we had the hot tub nothing else about the room was exceptional.

Breakfast was okay.

We pre paid for breakfast and dinner. At the 1st night at dinner, the veal was not cooked enough and the fish was not fresh. On the 2nd night, we were told we would not have any hot food, instead only bread, ham and cheese. I was with my 2 children so that was a difficult aside from not getting what we had paid for.

Une seule personne a s'occuper du petit dej !!! arrivé à 10h, plus de pain, plus de lait, fin des pots de confiture, plus de crèpes, machine à café ne fonctionnant plus... Le lundi c'était un peu mieux.

The room design, the soft carpet, and the beautiful picture on the wall of the girl skating perfectly reflect the Alps and one of the most popular activities in Annecy in a beautiful way. I also loved the cool air conditioning after staying in hotels without AC, and some that had AC but with very weak cooling. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the quiet atmosphere, the spacious bathroom, and the fact that everything needed was available in the bathroom.

The room did not include slippers. The refrigerator was not working properly and did not keep anything cold. At night, my son went to ask for an extra blanket, but he was only given a bedsheet and told that this was the only thing available. There was also no iron in the room, and we had to request one before it was brought to us. In the morning before check-out, I asked for towels for my son to take a shower because we had already used the previous day’s towels. The towels were delayed even though we had a trip to Geneva afterward. I asked again, and they were delayed once more. After that, someone knocked on the door. My husband opened it, and I heard a woman speaking to him angrily in French while handing over the towels. We could not understand exactly what she was saying, but her tone and attitude were very rude and it was obvious that she was upset. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which was nice, but it is not in the city center.

Beim Frühstück hatte es zu wenig auf dem Buffet. Das Brot war zum Teil noch heiss vom Steamer. Das Rührei kam leider schon kalt in die Pfanne und dementsprechend auf den Teller. Schade.

Chambre sale, pas d’eau chaude, ni de pression pour se doucher, télé même pas branché. Le soir pour rentrer à l’hôtel, j’ai dû attendre une demi-heure devant le portail a sonné car personne m’ouvrait.

Nous avons passé deux nuits exceptionnelles à l’hôtel Mercure Annecy Sud pour célébrer nos 12 ans de mariage. L’établissement est magnifique, très bien entretenu, et tout le personnel est d’un grand professionnalisme. Le petit déjeuner est également excellent, rien à redire, tout était parfait du début à la fin. Je tiens à adresser une mention toute particulière à Lisa, qui s’est occupée de notre réservation et de la décoration de la chambre pour cette belle occasion. Elle a été tout simplement formidable : très gentille, à l’écoute, attentionnée, et surtout très impliquée pour que notre séjour se déroule dans les meilleures conditions. Grâce à elle, cette expérience restera inoubliable. Des profils comme Lisa sont rares et méritent d’être valorisés, car ils font toute la différence dans un établissement. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe, nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation !

- Problème d’entretien sur le réseaux d’eau, nous n’avons pas pu nous rincer à notre aise après le spa et l’eau chaude n’est revenu que tard le soir… nous aurions apprécié un geste commercial voire une proposition de changement de chambre de la part du personnel pas suffisamment réactif sur ce point - il manquait un certain nombres de plats proposés au départ à la carte

la climatisation ne fonctionner pas et la lumière de l'entrée aussi la personne de l'accueil nous a changé de chambre merci
