The location is very good.

Front office staff and the restaurant staff. They solved an issue at check-in that made a big difference to my family's stay.

The parking access is horrible.

We stayed at Novotel Annecy on our seventh night of our road trip around France, Italy, Switzerland and Monaco. The hotel really surprised us with its quirkiness. We hadn’t looked into it much before booking and didn’t realise the building overhangs the railway, which we found fun and interesting to see. It definitely brings a modern vibe with a touch of unusual charm. The room was spacious enough for a family of three, newly refurbished and well designed. The underground car park also proved to be well designed for our low‑suspension car, which we appreciated. The location is great too; you can reach the old town in about a 10‑minute walk. Breakfast was exceptionally good! Plenty of choice, all hot and fresh. There were traditional local options as well as some new choices for us, which was lovely to see and try. A large group staying at the hotel had completely taken over the breakfast room in the morning, leaving no free tables, but the staff were very accommodating and quickly found us a nice space outside. Luckily the weather was pleasant, so it actually felt like a bonus not having to sit in a crowded room. The foyer facilities are again very modern, up‑to‑date and inviting, with plenty of space to sit, have a drink, read a magazine or simply lounge.

We would prefer a walk‑in shower instead of a shower over the bath.

J’ai aimé le fait que l’hôtel soit au centre ville du coup cela nous a permis de faire plusieurs activités à pied. Et le petit dej en buffet super tout était bon et frais.

Nous avons passé deux nuits accompagné de nos enfants et les poubelles n’ont pas été vidées et les lits n’ont également pas été fait. Grosse déception

Location is excellence! Train station, coach to Geneva, buses to different area of Annecy! Super good location.

There is no shelf/cabinet in the bath room for the towels. First morning, 2/3 big groups sports playing groups having breakfast same time, little bit crowd of people, need to queue up for coffee. Monday morning, may be these groups check out very early (05:00-05:40) very noisy. All else are good.

Saubeekeit im Zimmer.Zimmer müsste überhaupt überholt werden. Zimmer war direkt über dem Bahnhof, man hörte die Züge gut.

The staff was amazing !!

We didn’t like anything about the property. The hotel has weird smell. The room allocated to us had damp smell from the bathroom, curtains had stains and a few holes. The receptionist was kind enough to change the room but the other room was exactly the same. The manager is aware of this issue and he said they are trying to fix it by next summer.

Il y a effectivement un parking privé, mais malheureusement payant et extrêmement étroit… pas évident pour les grosses voitures

La habitación olía realmente mal. Tuvimos que cambiarla pero para ello necesité insistir hasta en 4 ocasiones para que alguien de personal pasara por la habitación para comprobarlo. Me dijeron que estaban al 100% ocupados y que era imposible cambiar. Después de insistir conseguí que subieran a inspeccionar la habitación y mágicamente ya no estaban 100% ocupados

Location is closed to city center

I am disappointed with my recent stay at your hotel. While I stayed for seven nights and booked two rooms, the overall service and housekeeping standards were below expectations.Firstly, the staff did not appear welcoming, and it often felt as though guests were being served under pressure rather than with genuine hospitality.The cleanliness of the rooms was unsatisfactory. The toilets had an unpleasant odor, and the cleaning standards were poor. On one occasion, our room was not serviced at all. I also had to contact reception because basic amenities such as toilet paper and tissues were missing. Although these were eventually provided, there were two separate days when no soap was available in the bathroom despite my complaints.In addition, one night the fire alarm was triggered at around 11:00 PM, resulting in the evacuation of hotel guests. Despite the inconvenience and disruption caused, no apology or explanation was provided by the hotel management.I raised several of these concerns during my stay. The receptionist informed me that my complaints would be reported and that some form of compensation would be considered upon checkout. However, when I checked out, no compensation, follow-up, or acknowledgment of the issues was provided.Given the number of issues experienced during a relatively long stay, I expected a much higher standard of service, cleanliness, and customer care. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.

check-in time 16.00 is too late, we came to Annecy at 11 a.m and see the old town but, It was hard to wait for our hotel room to relax after a journey from another city with the kids.

Le service de ménage n’a pas été fait chaque jour. J’avais demandé à ce qu’on fasse le ménage surtout pour enlever les poubelles puisqu’on a deux bébés, mais la femme de ménage passe l’après midi, or c’est l’heure de la sieste pour les bébés. J’avais mis la l’étiquette de ménage qui a été enlevée mais le ménage n’a pas été fait

Le parking très étroit et pas du tout pratique si le véhicule est imposant. Extrêmement difficile de trouver une place: temps d’attente parfois 40 minutes le temps qu’une place se libère.

Eigenlijk was alles goed. Nadeel van de locatie zou je het kunnen noemen dat de tram/trein dichtbij loopt. Dit hoor je wel een beetje binnen. Echter is het qua locatie weer een groot pluspunt dat het vlakbij de oude stad zit, je hier zo naar toe loopt en je binnen 15min lopen bij het meer van Annecy staat. Daarnaast is het top dat je de auto in de parkeergarage onder het hotel kunt stallen. Annecy is echt een aanrader om op doorreis te overnachten/een paar dagen te verblijven/in de omgeving op vakantie te gaan

Etablissement très bien situé à 5 minutes de l'autoroute, attenant à la gare et en plein centre-ville. Commode et agréable avec un personnel accueillant. Buffet petit-déjeuner très complet.

Rien de spécial.

The location of the hotel was perfect - a very short walk to the train/ bus station as well as a short walk to Old Town, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The room was comfortable in regard to size, the bedding, etc and given it was unseasonably hot in France, we truly appreciated the A/C. If we return to Annecy, especially if by train, we would stay here again.

Geluidoverlast trein die door je slaapkamer rijd maar ook isolatie binnen heb 3 uurtjes geslapen Zeep pomp viel op mijn kind zijn hoofd terwijl ze in bad zat Bed niet op gemaakt laken er gewoon over heen gegooid en veel te klein waardoor je matras zichtbaar was Tweede nacht niet gebleven en wacht nog op mijn geld terug en van de slechtste nacht heeft het hotel mij van de 260 euro slecht 20 euro terug gegeven waardeloze manager er stonden meer mensen met dezelfde klacht is lopende band werk maar dit hotel is 2 sterren waard in alle opzichten en zou 70 euro per nacht moeten kosten ik schijf nooit recensies maar ik hoop dat u gewaarschuwd bent

Zakelijk goed, niet al te veel charme, maar wel super praktisch en alles in orde. Eerder koel, maar alles wel wat je verwacht van een vier sterren hotel. Lekker ontbijt en vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Gezellige lobby met kickertafel. Voor families zeer prettig.

Ligging is op stap afstand van het centrum, maar de treinen donderden wel onder het hotel door. Op de vijfde verdieping hadden we er niet veel last van. Parking vraagt wat rijvaardigheden met een grotere auto, maar het lukt wel.

C'est très proche de la gare. En plus, proche du centre-ville et de bons commerces et retaurants. Dès qu'on y va dehors, il y a même de super oeuvres sur les murs!

We found all kinds of things like toys, brushes, creams on the floor, sofa and under the bed. The breakfast area was dirty and the breakfast buffet was not very clean. The hotel is over a train station and you can hear the trains pass by.

We had to move out of our badly air conditioned apartment and managed to get a family room at the Novotel. Check in is easy and they keep your baggage too. The room was clean and you could have it serviced as much as you wanted to. Rooms have a tv, kettle, coffee maker and fridge. It is literally 10 mins from the old town. Yes it is next to the train and bus station and you could hear a rumble but not enough to bother us. Each floor has a water machine. The Craic serves food but we didn't eat there. Breakfast could be considered pricy but was lovely. We would stay here again.

Staff could have been more helpful. Corridors were smelly and rooms were not cleaned. Very limited halal food options even in breakfast. Driving through Parking entrance was like putting a thread in the needle. I forgot the luggage cover in the garage. It was difficult to communicate with the staff.
