Reviewed Sep 17, 2026La situation en plein centre de Bayonne avec des visites totalement à pieds ou en transport collectifs de façon à pouvoir facilement visiter les principales villes du Pays Basque sans utiliser sa voiture et perdre beaucoup de temps a chercher des places de parking.

Bayona es una ciudad preciosa que merece la pena conocer y este hotel es perfecto para poder hacerlo en una ubicación muy buena cerca de todo y lejos de la zona de más ruido.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Fantastic location in a quiet street on the edge of the old town, close to the cathedral, castle, shops, restaurants and public transport. The reception staff were charming and helpful. Loved the quirky lift!
Housekeeping accidentally missed out our room one day but the reception staff were very apologetic and fetched fresh towels for us.

The staff was outstanding and very friendly The bar and breakfast area have a beautiful decor. Breakfast have delicious local products and the freshly made orange juice offered is a very special delicate touch The hotel is in a building from another era, and the size of the room was amazingly large (great!) , and the view to the front street and trees was very nice The bed was very comfortable
The bathroom was also from another era, and although I liked the vintage large sink, the shower, toilletries and general facilities were not in line with a 4 star hotel (e.g. no washcloth yet shower gel in the shower, high slippery bathtub, unconfortable position of the shower, not enough hanging pegs or poor shelfs where to place the travel necessaire). Dark carpets show more the dust and needs to vacuum daily (which was not, and it showed)

L'accès à l'hotel (qui est situé en semi-piétonnier) n'est pas évident en voiture vu les sens uniques innombrables. Bien suivre les indications fournies par l'hotel. Le parking de l'hotel, situé dans une rue voisine, est situé au 5eme étage d'un immeuble ancien transformé. L'accès est extrèmement difficile vu l'étroitesse de la première montée. Grosses voitures s'abstenir et préférer un parking public. Les chambres: fonctionnelles mais assez exigues. Le prix: Plutôt élevé, mais sans doute justifié vu l'excellente situation.

Au bar une carte restreinte , mauvaise odeur, endroit lugubre . Chambre j ai choisi une chambre avec des portes fenêtres et petit balcon rien de tout cela. Pour avoir de l eau en chambre vous louer une bouteille 10€ le comble .parking 25€ et de surcroît votre voiture ne passe pas... il faut donc chercher une place en ville et biensur payant.. beaucoup trop cher pour tout ses désagrément.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026I really liked the property’s central location, which made it very convenient for exploring the town. The restaurant partner benefit card was also a great perk, and it was honoured at every restaurant I visited.
The shower gel and shampoo dispensers were either not refilled or not functioning properly, which made it difficult to shower comfortably. I would have appreciated better attention to this during the room cleaning.

Parking not at the property (normal for city center properties), maybe 5 mins walking, easy to unload bags in front of the hotel, a bit complicated the logistic to park, but very well explained by the staff. Quiet. Room floor cleanness can improve. Room size OK. Great shower. Staff friendly. WiFi slow. Ck-in/out OK. Fridge OK.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Nice older hotel conveniently located near center of old town Bayonne. Excellent staff - professional, friendly, and always willing to assist. The room was spacious and quiet at night. The bed was large and comfortable. What some might consider to be dated about a room in an old building, we found to be quaint. Do be aware that the deep bathtub might be challenging for some.
Our main disappointment was the very slow Wi-Fi. We sometimes do consulting work while traveling, but this was not easy under these conditions. Also the breakfast is overpriced - the space is nice but very crowded.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof, wo alle Klimaanlagen des Hauses zusammen liefen. Was visuell und akustisch keine Bereicherung war und nicht für guten Schlaf gesorgt hat.

Le PDJ est bien trop cher par rapport aux choix proposés et à la qualité des produits. Même si l'hôtel est entouré de bons restaurants, il est dommage que pour un 4 étoiles, celui-ci ne soit pas doté du sien.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The location of the hotel. I have mobility problems and l could get a free electric bus to take me to the areas l wanted to visit. Very close to centre with numerous places for refreshments including the delicious cake shop opposite.
I did not find anything l personally disliked and would definitely choose the same hotel if l revisit Bayonne.

La habitación que nos dieron estaba muy vieja con el baño anticuado, y el suelo de la habitación inclinado.

Nous avons été un peu malmené par des groupes organisés qui squattaient les espaces petits déjeuner sans vergogne. Le prix des chambres s'est envolé ce qui n'est pas totalement justifié, même si on comprend bien que des aménagements ont été réalisés Mais 30 % d'augmentation en 2 ans ?

Desatualizado. Inaceitável nos dias de hoje a falta de pontos de corrente junto às mesas de cabeceira. A falta de estacionamento no local devia de estar devidamente indicada na reserva, já que obriga a uma deslocação de cerca de 500m para estacionar no parque que não pertence ao hotel
