Absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect, just minutes away from San Marco Square, making it so easy to explore Venice. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and approachable throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from each morning. Everything about our experience was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!

Personnel de très grande qualité, très professionnel et très aimable. Les chambres sont très agréables et il règne dans l'hôtel une atmosphère de grande sérénité. Il convient d'ajouter que le restaurant de l'hôtel est gastronomique et propose des plats délicieux dans un endroit de charme.

It was historical yet very comfortable and convenient. Location was excellent. The staff went beyond they were great. We will surely go back there.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Also at breakfast thought the staff were super good. The breakfast itself was fantastic. Teh location was perfect - and it being Venice, the streets go naturally quiet early so no issues with any noise.

The Location was excellent, especially being able to step on and off a private water taxi from the hotel. The rooms were fabulous, the breakfast was delicious, the bar was atmospheric, the cocktails were epic, the steam and jacuzzi was tranquil, the roof top terrace had the perfect sunset chill, the restaurant in the garden courtyard was classy, but most of all the hotel staff were quality.

Nothing about this Hotel to dislike.

The staff were lovely & made my daughter's birthday very special. The room was a great size with a lovely bathroom & ritual toiletries. We ate in the bar the first night & the restaurant the second night - both with superb food.

Was in a fantastic location! Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Piazza San Marco. They were also able to book our airport transfers when we departed, and the boat came up to the back canal entrance of the hotel straight to Venice airport.

The first night we got there our shower the drain was blocked and we flooded the bathroom. We told reception in the morning and called maintenance and they fixed immediately

This is a beautiful place! Our rate included breakfast, which was bountiful and delicious. The location is great, easy to get to from many directions. Quiet street, air conditioning.

The only thing that I didn't lile that the hotel didn't provide bottled water for drink. Only in mini bar.

The breakfast was lovely as were the breakfast staff who went above and beyond to make sure you had every you needed constantly refilling the food trays.

The shower was a hand shower and we struggled with it. Would have been better if it was fixed higher on the wall.

2 American tourists. Location, staff, and cleanliness was fantastic. 5 min walk to Marco plaza and to the Vaporetto . Roof top lounge, great restaurant, and swanky bar all on site. I’d give it a 10, wife’s says a 9 so…

Расположение очень удачное. С одной стороны торговая улочка с элитными магазинами, но при этом не очень шумная и перегруженная туристами, с обратной стороны небольшой канал. Сан Марко в нескольких минутах пешком. Интерьер из дорогих и качественных материалов сделан, это заметно, но очень давно, стареет дорого, но выглядит слегка пожившим, есть ощущение необходимости реновации. Завтраки отличные, вкусно и разнообразно для Европы, подают просекко, персонал ресторана вежливый и оперативный. Открытая терраса великолепна.

Номера с видом на канал мы бы не рекомендовали, вид формальный исключительно, так как сам канал узкий, примыкает к стене отеля, из окон номера его по этой причине почти не видно, если только встанете вплотную к окну и прильнете носом к стеклу, увидите треть примерно от ширины канала). Переплачивать не за что, лучше брать с видом на торговую улочку. Персонал в ресторане отеля выше всяких похвал, а вот на reception и обслуживающий персонал, можно быть и более friendly. Чувствуется некий формализм, недостаток радушия и гостеприимства.

Taking the tradition of its family owned provenance, through to today, retaining that where they couldn’t do enough for us, and combining it with today’s travellers’ wishes. In short, a superb hotel in a great location.

It was my 4th time at this hotel I really love the location and the staff is beyond amazing. It's great for getting to the Arsenale and Gairdini for the bieanale so central yet quiet. Breakfast and the breakfast room and staff is an amazing start to the day.

Slept in a double bed that was two single beds put together I ended up in that middle creak not amazing for my back.

Lovely older hotel with character, very well located between San Marco and the Accademia, very friendly and helpful staff. Pickup from the airport was worth the money.

Beautiful old building with perfectly appointed areas to rest while waiting for your turn to speak with the staff, who were most helpful and accommodating. We arrived late in the evening; most of Venice was closed for the night. The gentleman behind the check-in desk directed us to a nearby take-away pizza place. It was close to the hotel and was honestly some of the best pizza I have had. Breakfast was delicious and the staff could not have been more helpful. This hotel was a lovely little affordable luxury. Location was convenient as well.

This was a really lovely hotel run by the same family since 1908. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly too. We got some great recommendations for activities a bit off the beaten track. We had a superior double air conditioned room which was a great size with a separate bathtub and shower, a dressing area plus a balcony onto an inner courtyard. The hotel has a great bar with a full range of cocktails and a great restaurant where we had an excellent meal. Breakfast was superb and includes great fruit and yoghurt, lots of savoury options, fresh orange juice and waffles, prosecco - even bacon and eggs. Last the location was perfect.

Nothing - for some people it might seem old fashioned but we loved the character.

The room was so small

The staff at this hotel were very friendly. Since we arrived early they held onto my luggage until check in time. Many of the major landmarks were within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious. There is an excellent restaurant on the premise and a bar. The people at the bar would provide me with ice to put in my water bottle since we went during the summer so it was very hot.

There is nothing that I didn’t like.

I would have liked to have a guide on how to get to the hotel in terms of which Vaporetta stop etc to get there and in the shower there were a few tiles missing but it was still great

Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut. Der Luftabzug im Badezimmer war mangelhaft. Daher war die Luft dort unerträglich.

The location was suburb. It was just the right size hotel for a couple of nights in Venice. If you were staying longer, I would want a bigger room.

The location was excellent, just a 3-minute walk from St. Mark’s Square. The front desk staff and everyone at the hotel were incredibly friendly. They always greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable chatting with them. On our departure, we had the unforgettable experience of leaving for the airport directly from the hotel’s private water taxi dock. It was my first time traveling that way, and it made for a truly wonderful and memorable end to our stay.

The customer service, concierge staff and communication was phenomenal. They helped arrange private transportation for my family that made our stay less stressful. They also recommended some great restaurants in the area. The rooms were a little small but this is expected in Europe. Rooms were comfy and clean. My husband loved the coffee stations in room and in the hallways of each floor. The elevator is small which gave my family a comical moment as we all tried to fit with our backpacks/lugguage. Almost like the three stooges! We enjoyed drinks at the bar and the upper deck with great views. The breakfast each morning was a hit with lots of variety. Highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there again in the future.
