Hotel A La Commedia

Nous avons passé quelques nuits à l’Hôtel La Commedia et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L’hôtel est vraiment très beau et surtout idéalement situé, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de Venise à pied. La chambre était très agréable, avec une très belle salle de bains, confortable et bien équipée. Mention spéciale également pour le petit bar avec sa terrasse, un endroit très agréable pour prendre un verre et se détendre après une journée de visite. Et petit détail qui fait vraiment plaisir : les marshmallows à l’accueil, beaucoup trop bons ! 😋

The staff at the front desk and were so good. We got a complimentary fruit basket as we walked in to our beautiful room and a few moments later, champagne! So classic and a great touch. Breakfast was great. Beds and room big and comfortable

The hotel staff was great. Super friendly. We actually arranged private transportation to and from the hotel before arriving and while pricy, was completely worth it. A woman met us at the train station with a sign, took us to a private taxi, the private taxi dropped us off and a hotel staff member was there waiting with a cart. He loaded all our luggage and hauled it through the tiny pathways of Venice to the hotel for us. Our friends were in Venice at the same time and did not utilize services like this and ended up lost in Venice for two hours with their heavy luggage in tow. On the back end of our stay we hired a private driver (through the hotel again) to take us to Ravenna (about 2.5 hours south) to board a cruise. This also was a great experience. I also liked that this hotel had a great rooftop bar (with great staff) and they had a self service ice machine (a unicorn in Europe) for us to fill our water bottles.

There is nothing that we didn't like.

Hotellet kan absolutt anbefales. Rommet var romslig og delikat, med et stort bad og badekar. Alt var rent og velholdt. Frokosten var både fersk, smakfull og innbydende, og personalet var svært hyggelige og serviceinnstilte. Hotellet ligger i et stille og rolig område, samtidig som det er svært sentralt, med kort gangavstand til blant annet Markusplassen (Piazza San Marco) og Rialtobroen. En tur til Burano er også vel verdt et besøk. Skulle vi reise tilbake til Venezia, ville vi uten tvil valgt dette hotellet igjen. 😊

L'accueil personnalisé des personnes de l'accueil le jour de l'arrivée. La gentillesse de tout le personnel. L'emplacement et la propreté de l'hôtel. La qualité du petit-déjeuner et le bar en rooftop. L'organisation parfaite du transfert entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel.

Hotel a pochi passi da piazza San Marco , due passi dal canal Grande e ponte di Rialto. Tutto perfetto, stanza confortevole, colazione ricca, molto centrale e tanta gentilezza . Camere molto accoglienti e pulite, l'unica cosa che ho trovato formiche in bagno. Bellissima la terrazza e il bar sul tetto dell'hotel, si può fare aperitivo godendosi una vista stupenda.

Parfait. Emplacement idéal pour visiter Venise. Chambre propre, literie confortable, bien équipée (climatisation, petite bouteille d’eau offerte, chaussons…). Personnel attentionné parlant plusieurs langues facilitant les échanges, au top niveau conseils (merci !). Petit déjeuner continental correct.

Pour être un peu difficile le petit déjeuner manque un petit peu de variété et d’un bon café si vous y restez plusieurs jours mais il y a du choix. (Et à l’extérieur ça fourmille de nourriture…).

Sehr freundliches Personal, ein sauberes Hotel und eine großartige Lage. Hervorragendes Frühstück, und das Frühstückspersonal ist einfach spitze.

Die Badezimmertür ( Schiebetür) hatte keinen Griff, sodass ich jedes Mal damit zu kämpfen hatte, wenn ich sie schließen wollte.

The personell were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic next to rialto bridge and San Marco square.

Great location for everything. The water taxi is close by, key sites are minutes away, hotel staff are top notch and they have a wonderful roof top patio to unwind before calling it a night.

A very pleasant hotel in the heart of Venice. It is located right next to the Rialto Bridge, with water transport stops just a short walk from the hotel. The room was very cozy and well furnished, and the beds were large and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was incredible, room was comfortable, especially the giant bathtub! The only improvement might be the mattress was hard. However, I would stay here again! The rooftop party was amazing!

Perfect stay, love absolutely everything about it! Could watch a movie outside my window, and by midnight there was a wonderful smell of baking bread. Couldn't think of better location than this one.

This place may it easy to be here, even though there was so much to explore! We were required to turn our keys in upon leaving, new one on me. Got them back upon retuning. Nice rooms, very accommodating. Also had a rooftop bar that was the bomb!

Excelente Hotel, Já estive com a minha família em uma visita anterior a Veneza, Há 02 anos e o hotel nos encantou: Funcionários atenciosos, prestativos, procurando nos oferecer o que há de melhor na cidade. Certamente recomendamos e quando retornar a Veneza será a minha primeira escolha com certeza.

L’insonorizzazione della camera, perfetta. Le dimensioni e arredo della camera, e la scelta delle pietanze a colazione.

L’unico piccolo problema e’ stato con il termostato che non regolava bene la temperatura. La reception ha gestito il tutto da remoto e ha sistemato la regolazione della temperatura

A bit over priced

L'emplacement de l'hotel est idéal. Le personnel parle français.

This hotel is located in a quiet square close to all of the major tourist areas. The staff were very helpful in arranging our transport to and from the airport and helped bring our luggage from the water taxi to the hotel (short walk). They also provided a nice map of the major landmarks that helped us navigate the beautiful city. The rooms were well spaced and the bathrooms were stocked well.

They did not have room service, but they have a bar on the 4th floor that does some small bites and a restaurant right outside the building. There are also many fantastic food options just around the corner.

Comfortable, well appointed rooms with large bathrooms. The bed was the best one I've had during my 16 day stay at 7 properties. The staff was friendly and, equally important, efficient. Daniele gave us a map and a good suggestion on where to go as we checked in. A different Daniel took care of us in the rooftop bar that same evening.

My only regret is that I didn't find La Commedia sooner. It was the third of three places we stayed in Venice. The first was too expensive for crowded accommodation, the second one was expensive and had terrible water pressure. La Commedia offered the greatest value and comfort. Sounds like a paid promotion, but I solemnly swear this was the best deal and stay of all the places we stayed in Italy.

The staff was outstanding came up with some great suggestions on different things to do and to be honest with you normally we stay in an apartment since we have a family of five but because we were here, they suggested that we do a private boat trip around the city and it was one of the best things we've done on our entire trip. Also, they booked us an intimate opera show that was a really special night. It was done in an old mansion and it just was a very unique and great experience. The staff always went another way to be helpful and be friendly. As far as the hotel it's in a perfect location for us right near the canal right near a lot of shops and restaurants. And the hotel itself is done in a very Venetian way with a lot of style very clean very comfortable. And the small rooftop bar area is a perfect way to unwind after a long day

All the staff were exceptional and very attentive to our needs. Most spoke English extremely well which made the trip very enjoyable.

The pricing seemed a little higher than similar hotels in similar locations.

Location was brilliant in the centre, 2 mins from the Grand Canal but quiet in a corner of a quiet square. The room was lovely - had everything you needed and classic decor. Breakfast was a buffet and really great choice (only thing i would mention is that i think they may be using powdered eggs for the scrambled!!!). Other than that everything was really good and we would go back again - the rooftop bar was a real added bonus.

I couldn't work the hairdryer properly - didnt read the instructions. Thats is!!! Nothing else negative to say.

The location is an easy walk to the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Breakfast in the morning was good.

The hotel charged us 230 Euros for an 11 minute transfer from St. Lucia train station which was exhorbatent. We asked for a bottle of water at the front desk and were denied because they only put two small bottles of water in the room in the evening. The wait staff in the restaurant were uninterested in ensuring customers were made to feel welcome. We were not impressed with the service after experiencing exceptional service in our travels through Italy.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful with directions and reservations for dinner. The rooftop patio was lovely and we enjoyed evening drinks with lovely view. The bed and bedding was comfortable and hotel was quiet for great night's sleep.. We loved our stay and highly recommended.

We highly recommend this beautiful hotel for your stay in Venice. The service is excellent and the staff is super friendly. The room is spacious and comfortable and the bathroom is huge! The location is close to restaurants, shopping, and very close to the taxi service so you don't have to travel far with luggage.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéalement situé. Proche du Rialto, de la place Saint Marc. Soit au centre de Venise. A la descente du Traghetto, vous êtes, à peine, à 200 mètres de l'hôtel ce qui n'est pas négligeable si vous transportez des valises.

I did extensive research because I wanted to be in a wonderful location as I had never been to venice before. This hotel got amazing reviews, and the location could not be beat so I thought I would give it a try. It was wonderful! It is right off the grand canal by the rioto bridge, which is tourist central. There is a little grocery store around the corner.Many, many restaurants and walking distance to absolutely everything, including the wonderful st marks square. My advice is take a gondola ride between 5 and 7. When the crowds are lower and the weather is fabulous. Restaurants are almost all identical menu selections. Go to la piazza restaurant. It is fabulous! Get superior room. Would stay here again!!!

This is the second time we've visited and we love the place, the roof top bar is incredible. The person that truly makes this place what it is, is a gentleman called Filippo - he is an incredible host and have made us want to come back here every time we visit. We're both British and Filippo can speak multiple languages, so has made us and everyone that has visited here tonight feel very welcome.

Wonderful hotel! The beautiful rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful in assisting us with our needs. The roof top Bar is super nice in the evening with the lights, heaters if needed, and light music. We also found the morning breakfast to have plenty of light options.

Hotel La Commedia in Venice was absolutely wonderful! The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and in a perfect location. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. It’s conveniently located within walking distance to St. Mark’s Square and not far from the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge, making it easy to explore Venice. We also loved how easy it was to get to from the water taxi. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!
