Ramada by Wyndham Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Prepaid via booking.com, they asked for my card on arrival and asked why. Response was for holding and no amounts will be taken unless a which I accept, but they then immediately got a notification from my bank saying they had tried to take the room rate from my account.

Atleast there should be a water bottle, there was no shampoo in the bathroom, floor mat was too dirty

Het is een degelijk hotel, waar je niet de hoofdprijs voor betaald. De goede frequente shuttle service is echt onmisbaar wat mij betreft. Als je meer tijd hebt loop je even Badhoevedorp binnen voor koffie of om wat te eten.

Gewoon fijn voorafgaand aan een vlucht de volgende dag.

Great place to stay just a short distance from the airport. The shuttle makes it super easy to get to and from the airport and then a short train ride to central. The facilities were lovely and breakfast buffet was ah-mazing!

Would be nice to have a shade or a covering of some sorts over the benches outside. It was raining and all of us were huddled on the stairs.

I liked the location, the cleanliness and the staff was welcoming and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike

Ligging t.o.v. luchthaven Schiphol is gunstig. Ontbijt was goed. Personeel is (klant)vriendelijk, niks hierop aan te merken.

Minpunt is wel het onderhoud van het hotel: kamer rook muffig, losse plinten, uitgeleefde tapijtvloer, interieur ziet er oud en doorgeleefd uit. Had iets meer verwacht van een 4 sterren hotel en voor de prijs die we betaald hebben.

Restaurant is great, love the buffet dinner. Staff was friendly. Changed our room promptly when our heating control not working

The proximity to the airport and the shutttle available at a decent price

Ac stopped working in the middle of the time. Dint get any sleep as we also had to wake up early for our flights. There were two pumps of diluted shower gel and barely any hand wash. No fridge which was not okay considering we paid 180 euros for the night. We ordered the burger from the restaurant and they used a processed frozen patty which tasted very artificial.

The room was clean and spacious. There was tea, coffee and kettle in the room. Bed was comfortable. There was a lot of storage space. Toilet was spotless and was equipped with generous amount of toiletries. Tap water was drinkable.

It’s not as close to the airport as one would prefer & shuttle bus only runs every half hour - be a lot more convenient if it ran every 15 mins.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was great for doing some work and of course relaxing after a long day. The hotel has a system whereby if you do not have room cleaning done you recieve a 5€ voucher for use in the hotel, I liked this a lot. The hotel was quite and generally easy to use as a base to get to Leiden and Amsterdam where I had work arrangements.

The wait time for check-in was quite long (around 15 minutes) and some of the features such as tiles in the bathroom were old and broken. The main drawback related to the bus, there are times in the morning and evening when the shuttle bus doesn’t run and in order to travel from hotel to airport there is a fee of 6€.

Aircon did not work in the room. Also the shuttle bus was full before during and after the times i needed for the airport. So had to use Uber

Langere wacht tijden van shuttle Bus meer dan 2uurtjes met slechte weer wachten wij. Ibis Shuttle bus heb ik.4× keer zien rijden en andere hotel shuttle bus ook maar van jullie hotel bus kwam paar uurtjes later.Geen idee ook smorgens dat wij reservering moeten maken om naar schipol gebracht moeten worden.Wij moeten €35,00 betalen rit naar schipol airport.Jammer wij hadden paar keer hotels genomen en shuttle bus was gratis opgalen en gebracht worden.Jammer dat ik slecht ervaring hebt.

Alarm ging af om 2.45am tot 5.45am, ging oog dicht gedaan, vals alarm bleek al snel. Personeel kreeg Alarm niet uit !!!

The hotel lift was on bad condition. The smell coming goff from the carpet was disgusting.

Der Preis war sehr gut,nicht übertrieben teuer für diese Lage.Im Hotel war sehr ruhig wenn man bedenkt wie nahe es am Flughafen Schiphol liegt.

Eigentlich gibt es aus meiner Sicht nichts zu bemängeln.

Very bad experience, if you arrive late at night they won’t let you check in and say they are fully booked. They will send you somewhere else for one night and say you have to come back. They will make you wait hours like you just came to Amsterdam to sleep in hotel rooms. They will refuse to accommodate your whole night stay at a different hotel, and they expect you to wait until they have rooms available, where you can be waiting for hours.

Es gab um 2uhr nachts einen Alarm mit Lautsprecherdurchsage was durchgehend lief bis nach 5uhr morgens. Wir haben unsere Zimmer verlassen und haben die halbe Nacht an der Rezeption verbracht. Nachdem Polizei und Feuerwehr anrückte,konnte man uns erst morgens Entwarnung geben, es handelte sich um einen technischen Defekt!Meine Kinder und ich haben in der Nacht gar nicht Schlaf können. Ich verlange eine Entschädigung .

De locatie was goed te bereiken met auto. We hebben geen ontbijt gedan bij hotel.

We zaten 3 hoog direct bij de lift de deur klapt zo hard dicht waar je door moet naar lift dat was wel vervelend.

De luchthaven ligt op ongeveer 5 minuten rijden met de auto. Het hotel heeft een mooi uitzicht en is verrassend rustig. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze spreken vooral Engels, meer dan Nederlands. Ik zou dit hotel vooral aanraden als je dicht bij de luchthaven wilt verblijven, maar toch op zoek bent naar een rustige en comfortabele plek.

Wat ons iets tegenviel, was dat er in de directe omgeving weinig eetgelegenheden zijn. Ook is parkeren betaald, wat wel iets is om rekening mee te houden.

AC didn't work during heat wave

The rooms were big and plenty of room to relax. It was a quiet hotel, you couldn’t hear people coming and going which was a plus and even though close to the airport no aircraft noise either.

Lifts were very slow and had to wait a while when busy. Also 24 hour shop for snacks could have been better, drink selection great but food selection not so much.

Staff at the reception requested a separate invoice for different services and a company name on the invoice, but it was not possible to do it. After 15 minutes spent explaining, I gave up and left the location.

The hotel is good if you want to stay away from the city center and close to the Schiphol airport.

Staff helpful

AC was not working in a lot of rooms. There was a large que complaint about it but staff said they can not do anything. In intense heat we couldn't sleep. Worst thing is that hotel staff knew exactly which rooms had AC malfunction.

We didn't eat breakfast. We were out to early to get to the airport.

It was to difficult to get into Amsterdam and return. The shuttle at the airport stops a 2pm. Sight seeing time is then limited. You didn't charge us to get to the hotel but charged us to get back to the airport on your shuttle. If the shuttle was free to the train station and longer hours sight seeing would be easier for your visitors.

The room was very large, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom, although it is close to the airport, you don‘t hear anything from it.

It takes an hour to get to Amsterdam by public transport, but that's also fine, as the bus stop is very close by.

Unfortunately we arrived for the shuttle bus exactly when was a break time . So we had to wait 50 minutes for the Hotel transportation

Booked 3 rooms for short stay family vacation. We stayed during the 'heat wave' so were grateful for the AC. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Lot of choices at breakfast. Staff was friendly enough. Pay to park beside the hotel. Location was convenient to our planned activities.

We had previously stayed at this same hotel but there were a lot more guests present in the lobby this time. Still a good stay but I am not a crowd person. As far as the rooms, the bathtub drained extremely slow in one room and the bathroom door opened a bit awkward in another. No exhaust fan and no washcloths. The elevator was slow; we waited a long time for it a couple time then decided to take the stairs, when we did use it, it made a lot of noise.
