The reception staff was amazing really friendly. A gentleman.

When i arrived back late from a party there was no parking available due to a wedding at the hotel. I had to park in a nearby street. I had paid to park and was assured there would be space available.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely distressing. My son and I became trapped in the lift. When I pressed the emergency button, the call appeared to connect to the hotel’s booking system, where I was asked to press a number for reservations instead of immediately being connected to emergency assistance. My son suffered a panic attack as a result of the situation. He was unable to sleep for the entire night and, the following day, was so affected that he struggled with his grammar school entrance test. This was an extremely frightening experience for both of us, and the way the emergency call was handled made an already serious situation even more distressing. I strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here carefully considers the hotel’s emergency arrangements and how guests are supported if they become trapped in a lift. For us, this was one of the worst hotel-booking decisions we have made.

Location and staff in restaurant were amazing.

We arrived and were told to wait to book in and then 8 other people came in and they were dealt with first!

Rude staff - met with a lady called Fathima when I arrived and she was very rude - trying to be difficult and saying no early check in was against unless you paid £10 per hour which I found unusual as normally they give you the room without charge if it’s ready. I found her very rude throughout the conversation. When I tried to enter my reg to park my car she barked at me and told me to stop and wait until she allowed me. Not a nice person. When I was leaving I asked the gentleman at desk if there was any form of express check out or if I could just leave me key on the desk as there was a queue and I was in a hurry, he said well what else would you have to to in a condescending way. When I was waiting for the room we decided to have a coffee in the bar - I waited 30 mins for my coffee to arrive and it still hadn’t so I had to complain and they finally brought me my coffees. All in all bad/very rude staff but a nice hotel.

1. There was no phone in the room to call room service - 237. I did report it to the receptionist. 2. No vegetarian options for breakfast. 3. Paid the cost to up grade my room, and ended up with a queen. 4. Not value for money.

The place is clean. Rooms Exceptional. Staff are friendly. Overall i liked the pkace. Will definetely recommend it.

Good variety of food for adults. Everything was fresh and hot. The cutlery and glasses were generally clean. The staff were very friendly and polite.

Would be good if breakfast ended later at 11am instead of 10am. Would have been nice to see more variety for children,such as Cheerios, bagels or fresh strawberries. The odd plate or cup/mug were stained with food.

The entrance was welcoming and the rooms were really nice The manager Mohammed was excellent and really helpful.

The sink didn’t drain properly and shower gel hadn’t been refilled and so was empty

The room has a shower the size of a phone box. I could barely get in let alone turn around. I notified staff to this and was told the showers on the mezzanine floor are small and reserved for small people. This is unacceptable as I paid in full and should have been given a decent room irrespective of my size. I have stayed here on previous occasions and do not have this issue. For that price, I could have stayed elsewhere. Also, the parking is advertised as free but it is not as you have to pay that separately per night.

Amazing hotel the late breakfast time til 11am and late checkout til 12pm was highly appreciated as we checked in late. The hotel itself looks amazing! The giant chess and pool table were a huge hit with the kids. Beds were really comfortable and rooms a good size we had a double room with 2 double beds. Which was perfect for a family of 4. Will definitely be coming back here.

The only thing I can fault is there was a strong smell of urine around the toilet in our room but it wasn't enough to ruin my experience.

My room wasn’t ready until 3:30pm and staff were still making the bed when we finally got in the room.

Room air con was not working. A small portable air con machine was provided but was too small for the size of the room so not very effective. This was a particular problem given the excessive heat at the time of our stay. The air con unit was also loud and had to be turned off so we could sleep. None of us slept due to the heat and noise from outside. My daughter had the pull out sofa bed and the mattress was comparable to sleeping on plastic bottles. I advised staff of our experience in the morning at checkout and was offered appologies and a coffee which we didn't accept as we were late leaving due to the long wait to checkout while staff dealt with a phone call. Having stayed at several Hilton hotels we expected better. We should have saved money by booking a local budget hotel instead.

The hotel was ideally situated for an overnight stay. This was my second time of booking and found it more friendly than the last visit. As a single woman visiting, it was important that I felt safe and secure. From the receptionist, room service, bar and restaurant staff and even a maintenance man, the service was outstanding.

Air conditioners would have been ideal, but the electric fans that were provided were acceptable.

Everything was perfect. What a great location near the 107 bus to northern line tube if you're coming from the north to visit London

The property was clean and well looked after, I would like to thank Balazs. His service and hospitality was truly exceptional, and of all the hotels I’ve used. I’ve never experienced service like what Balazs provided. Nothing was too much trouble, he really did go above and beyond. He is a credit to the DoubleTree By Hilton.

I had a fantastic stay at DoubleTree by Hilton. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcome, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. A special thank you to Balazs, who went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, always happy to help with a smile. His exceptional customer service really stood out and made a big difference to my overall experience. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, and the hotel itself was clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Every member of staff I encountered was welcoming, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to Balazs and the whole team for such a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend DoubleTree by Hilton and look forward to returning in the future.

We left a football shirt behind by mistake and have messaged and called the hotel to see if we can pay them postage to send it back but we cannot get hold of anybody. We also received a parking fine even though we paid the £5 on check in and we’re only parked there during our check in and out times. And lastly, we didn’t get our arrival cookies even though the people in front of us and to the side of us did.

No air conditioning- gave us a room with cool air flowing system or something like that - temp outside about 27+ v hot inside however room cool air flowing system worked v noisy- but stopped during the night - hot sweaty night- did not sleep great opened window but was sleeping on the A1!! No air con (website isn't clear) room was absolutely awful heat wise. One fan between three wasn't ok and windows that hardly opened. Didn't sleep. No cookies on arrival. Was very expensive for what you actually got.

Our room was right above what seemed to be a generator - it was quite noisy

Handy to get to straight off the A1. Some of the staff were very helpful. Nice to have and onsite gym for guests. The second room I had was very nice. Breakfast has a good spread

The first room i was placed in, the corridor smelt of cigarettes. It was next to a plant room and so I had the a tapping noise all night. The shower door had been broken off so they had simply replaced it with a curtain. This meant that the curtain stuck to you whilst showering as it was so small making for a very unpleasant experience. The hotel doesn't appear to have AC even though it is advertised as having. There are instead, fans in the room to blow the hot air around. You had to pay extra to pay for parking at the hotel even if you were a guest at the hotel. There was food under my table at breakfast from the night before

Didn’t have air conditioning in our room but had a fan provided.

Location was perfect for where our function was being held. Even though it is right next to A1(M) we didn’t hear it as our room was at the back

The only downside to our stay was that our room was not serviced on the Saturday. Access to room was not till afternoon as we were getting ready but when we came back early evening it hadn’t been done. On Sunday we were in room all morning again getting ready so room couldn’t be serviced then. When we left for function I had to say to reception that room needed done.

No hot drinks from Bar after 10pm. In fact first stay were told they clean down at 10pm, this trip machine cleaned down by 9.45pm and no interest from bar staff to accomodate by starting up again.

It was like a sauna and when I asked the lady if there’s anything she could do, she simply said sorry out of errands. We live in England, not Africa.

Nous n’avons pas du tout apprécié la prise en charge. La dame à la réception était particulièrement froide, tout comme le reste du personnel qui ne prend même pas la peine de dire bonjour le matin (à l’exception du réceptionniste de nuit, qui était adorable). Lors de de notre check in, nous avions pourtant pris soin de contacter l’hôtel via Booking afin d’obtenir des chambres côte à côte avec mes parents âgés, et avons réservé  une chambre avec deux lits doubles. À notre arrivée, on nous attribue des chambres inadaptées, puis on nous informe que les seules chambres correspondantes sont au 2ᵉ étage. Pourquoi cela n’a-t-il pas été anticipé ? Nous avons dû faire plusieurs allers-retours avec mes parents, marcher inutilement jusqu’à une première chambre incorrecte, puis remonter au 2ᵉ étage. Un check-in chaotique et très mal organisé. De plus, plusieurs équipements ne fonctionnaient pas : pas de climatisation et un coffre-fort défectueux (réparé seulement la veille de notre départ). Les chambres sont vraiment loin de la réception il faut marcher ( pas adapté au personne âgées )
