I stayed here two years before, so I knew what to expect. This time round I had a nice isolated room that wasn't directly above the Pub (whilst two years ago my room was directly above the Pub, and wasn't easy sleeping with the noise outside). But this time my sleep was better as my room was fairly isolated. Tom the Manager is a very pleasant chatty chap, and happy to help (not that I needed any).

The only downside, which I unfortunately didn't get to mention to the Manager when I checked out, but the toilet seat wasn't very secure and didn't stay up when one needed to use it (plus the sink had seen better days). But other than that, nothing much to say on a negative sense.

The location. The tv options were good in the room. Toilets & shower rooms were ok. Shower gel & shampoo provided.

The lead wasn't long enough to fit the kettle. The beds weren't that comfortable. There was a small bed bug in one of the beds. Cleanliness could have been better in the room.

Good location plenty parking space easy to find and Friendly staff. Had facilities good decent bathroom very quiet on a night.

No view from window just a brick wall and extractor fan with pipe hanging out off window couldn't reach to close them.

excellent location, parking facilities, portable aircon facilities, friendly and very accommodating staff, easy to book, value for money, walking distance of food, shops, elstree studios, supermarket, library, shopping outlet.

room was small without room for a chair or desk so was unable to work in the room. however, the beds were very comfortable, the aircon was a godsend and the local library was within walking distance with free workspace facilities.

A little a bit annoying to not have drinkable tap water but that’s okay we had two bottles and refilled once a day by the staff a d in sure if you’d ask them they give you some whenever. It is quite far from central London which is a bit time consuming for transportation.

The gentleman at the front desk is super lovely so friendly and welcoming, rooms are extremely clean great room for the price bathroom was exceptionally clean

Was a little bit dated and the hallways had a weird smell, beds are extremely unsteady and squeaky but good for one night

The convenience and location is good for us for where we needed to be. Tom was fantastic in welcoming us second time round. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome once again. He went above and beyond to help us even with places to visit and eat. We would stay again and recommend.

Friendly welcome from Tom. A budget hotel - rooms are small but immaculate in cleanliness, better than many chain hotels. Good value: it's not the Ritz but it does exactly what it says on the tin!

loved it! worth the price and staff was lovely, clean facilities there was a fridge and a fan and tea and coffee facilities and biscuits too! i would definitely stay here again !

We were woken very early by a delivery after a late night but that was the only thing we could moan about Everything else was fine if you have mobility issues there are steps to climb to rooms beaware

The room was comfortable,clean,well decorated,had air conditioning,coffee and tea making facilities ,booking the accommodation is really good value,the owner/manager was polite and helpfull,the property is very close to the shops,eating places and only 10 mins walk to bus and rail ststion.This was our third visit and we will be returning again.Overall i would highly recommend

The manager for the hotel Tom was an absolute gem. Super helpful and friendly. I was there for 3 night and its definitely value for money- esp if you are travelling alone. 10-12 mts walk to the tube station.

Clean and comfy. Basic accommodation, very clean and shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs right outside your door. The manager's customer service was outstanding, very helpful and kind man.

Too small for me but I have a bad back. A bit worn down and old but did the job for a stay at a festival. Could.do with blackout curtains.

Mattress was by far the worst I have ever slept on which is kind of the point of a hotel room. Tap in bathroom moved all over the place, window was hard to close once opened and not sure the carpet in the hallway/stairs has ever been cleaned. The parking i was asked to pay for was such an awkward angle that I had to scrape my alloys to fit it in resulting in a £400 repair now needed.

Second stay here. Due to being so close to my son’s hospital and they changed my room closer to reception due to him having an air boot. Can not fault my stay staff and cleanliness of the hotel 10/10

Such a lovely stay. I’ve stayed there twice now and it has become my second home when I’m in this area. The staff are so lovely, kind and incredibly helpful (Bebo in particular is an absolute star)! Always a wonderful stay :)
