Clean, quiet, good location

The step into the bathroom, could be dodgy in the dark, quite a small tv and a poor tea tray

Well located - we were going to Elstree Studios. Plenty of parking (small hotel car park, huge public car park adjacent - available for a very reasonable charge). Breakfast was good (had gluten free options), bar/food available which was great Staff friendly and helpful. Had good nights sleep

Room was clean and very quiet, breakfast was very good with a good selection and staff were very good at keeping the buffet topped up. Bed was very comfortable and had a good nights sleep.

Smaller towels in the bathroom would be nice as using a large towel to have a wash is not very convenient.

Hotel car park small but larger car park available alongside. Check in easy with helpful staff. Room compact but clean and well maintained. Even though on ground floor, room was quiet due to good double glazing. Thick curtains kept morning light out. En-suite good. Convenient for Elstree studio entrance.

No power sockets near bed. There was a double socket with USBs in corner. Five inch step up in to en-suite; potential trip hazard. TV a bit small by today's standard

Location is good for easy access to Wembley (via Stanmore underground station). Good facilities, great location

The room we had smelled strongly of cigarette smoked.

The pillows were too hard for me. I didnt see the egg boiling station till i went to the brew machine after i had eaten my breakfast. I would have liked fresh cucumber and tomato to be available with the ham and cheese.

I loved that the property was in a location that we were able to get to both of our destinations within 20 mins.

The only thing I can think of was that there was a lot of traffic due to the temporary traffic lights outside of the hotel, which wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

Twin beds were a little neat and the bathroom door needed some welly to close! Car park is very small and could have been better lit when returning late at night.

Patricia is very kind and sweet, and does impeccable work. She always had the thoughtfulness to keep my room clean and tidy. Thanks to her, after studying and coming back to find my room clean and ready, it brought me peace and tranquility. Overall, the reception staff are very friendly and always willing to help at any time. I don’t remember the name of the young man from india how wear black glasses, but he worked at night shift until 7 am. My phone battery was low and he kindly offered to help me charge it, since I had forgotten to bring an adapter. Thanks to him I was able to set an alarm and wake up early for class the next day. overall great time.

Wasn’t shown how to get to the room. There was a fight during the night but I had no way to contact reception. I couldn’t leave my room to go to reception as I had a young child sleeping

Very good location for the film and TV Studios. Staff are helpful and friendly, special shout out to Patricia in House Keeping for spotlessly clean and well serviced rooms. Good value if you can get a deal. £3 per night parking is much cheaper than the other hotel car parks in Borehamwood and parking is plentiful. I can recommend the Pizzas!

Wir suchten einen Zwischenstop nahe London um auf dem Weg nach Wales. Das IBIS hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. In der Highstreet gab es einige Restaurants, TESCO, ALDI, LIDL und eine Haltestelle des Vorortszugs nach London Zentrum. Wir wollten die LDN City Maut fürs Zentrum umfahren. Betten und Bad waren geräumig und sauber, das Personal freundlich und zwei E-Ladesäulen direkt vor dem Eingang. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Borehamwood ist ansonsten nicht der Nabel der Welt, die Elstree Filmstudios sind im Ort. ansonsten nichts zu meckern.

Room was clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was great. Location was perfect for our needs and the price was top notch!

The key card process was a little old and we did have trouble opening the door. We had to get the card looked at by staff but didnt bother us too much

Had a lovely stay at this Ibis. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated everything we needed, including looking after our luggage, which made our trip so much easier. A special thank you to Sharon and Apple for their outstanding hospitality—they were both so kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and great value. We'd definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff, clean hotel and tasty food especially breakfast.

The location was perfect for our needs we were visiting for the weekend taking our son to see some of the sights of London and finishing with a trip to Warner bros studios Harry Potter tour. The hotel was easy to find and get to with limited parking but alternative additional parking available adjacent to the hotel. The walk from the hotel to the train station we used to get into London central was about 15-20 mins taking in the local high street passing plenty of good and varied eateries along the way. Trains to London were approx every 15 mins and took around 20mins and arrived in at St Pancras so it was easy to travel onwards to explore the city. The staff in particular Sharon and Steven were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and were a pleasure to meet and have a chat with. The trip to Warner Bros studios was about 25-30 mins by car so again a great base for our visit. We will definitely come stay here again and hope Sharon and Steve will still be there for a lovely welcome again.

Great service; Stevan was a receptionist, Concierge, barista, and fulfilled many other roles single-handedly with excellent skill. All the staff where great. Highly recommend! Thanks for making this stay great!

I liked the room and the fact that it had aircon, it was clean and tidy and the housekeepers were fantastic.

I didn't like the fact that there was no fridge in the room. I have never stayed at a hotel where there is not fridge provided, especially as the weather the whole time was really hot and we couldn't store any drinks that we bought from the supermarket to keep cool.

Check in was a good experience and team were helpful when needed. Very standard hotel offering - just paying for the amenity and not expecting not much.

Pricing per night was not consistent and where the pricing was more than £55 per night, this did not represent good value for money Some of the clientele drinking in the entrance area were a bit rough

I stay at this Ibis location three to five nights a week for business, the location is ideal as close to road and rail networks and just a short walk into a vibrant town centre with plenty of shops, bars and resteraunts. The hotels atmosphere is relaxed which is helped by the attentive staff, who can't do enough for you. Alexandra, Lim, Tharun and Resul are just a few of the great staff that make you feel welcome and looked after. Rooms are basic but exceptionally clean, the cleaners do a great job, it's an excellent base. I've stayed here for 12 weeks now with only one week at another hotel in between (bloody Wimbledon) but I gladly came back. Short 17 minute train ride to central London via the local train station is handy. In terms of value it's probably the cheapest hotel in the area, however that doesn't diminish the experience.

Great, attentive and helpful staff, functional rooms and good breakfast. We also had a nice dinner. So, overall a good stay for a couple of days while visiting the Harry Potter Studio Tour.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and the service provided is excellent. Apple, Vikas and Baslar are absolutely brilliant, They make you feel very welcome and their customer service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble and you always get service with a smile. Keep up the great work and IBIS are lucky to have such great staff!! Your a credit to the company.

The hotel is in a good location close to bus and train links. The high street is close by with a variety of shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and the towels in the bathroom are full size! I was visiting during July and the weather was very hot. I was pleased to find that the room has AC and the temperature was very comfortable. The room overlooked the main road and at times you can hear the traffic. The staff are friendly and helpful. I booked online, in advance and the rate was very good. I often choose to stay at the Ibis as it is good value for money and has all that I need when I visit.

Patricia kept the room so clean and made it highly hospitable. It was a very pleasant experience. Good job !!

Nice enough Hotel. Very corporate and samey. Water pressure low meaning not very good shower but room and en suite all nice. Rooms with odd numbers eg 315 317 etc back on to the A1 and are noisy. Extra charge for parking but that seems to be normal for Borehamwood

Accessible room beds not suitable for accessible room - mattress slip, bathroom handrail too close to red emergency pull cord. Guests suitcases and clothing left strewn across the hall for 24 hours. Guests left trainers outside their room doors in the hallway.

On arrival one room smelled of urine. The room was changed without comment but incident should not have happened in the first place.

The hotel is on the outskirts of London near Elstree Studios. You can catch the Thameslink Train from Elstree & Borehamwood station, which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel into King's Cross & St Pancras International in around 30/40 minutes (ticket costs around £12, so cheaper possibly buying a day ticket for around £16 so you can access all public transport in London for the day). There is a small car park available at the hotel (costing £3 a night - register your vehicle registration at reception) however, there is a large leisure centre car park opposite which the hotel car provide a voucher for (free on evenings and Sundays?). Staff members were really friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and stylish.
