The hotel was right on the beach in Taormina! The location was great and the staff were tremendous. Also the restaurants were super, especially Blum, and the rooftop bar was cool.

The location is perfect. Very close to the cable car and in the middle of a buityful bay. The pool is nice.

The payment for the hotel is extermly high while the accomodation, fascilities and food are like in a four star hotel or below. The room is small, the lobby is tiny, no bathtub, breakfast is moderate, no Jacuzzi by the pool.

La habitación comodisima (la cama excelente) todo extremadamente limpio y con una terraza espectacular que daba al agua. Es verdad que parece más un resort que un hotel de playa pero es un poco lo que propone Taormina. Todos los empleados súper amables y disponibles cuando los necesitamos.

Me parece que el desayuno puede estar un poco mejor con más variedad de frutas y quesos y fiambres. Para ser un hotel 5 estrellas siento que estaba super bien pero que podría ser un poco más afilado.

The hotel was recently renovated and it looks great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Behind the hotel there is a rail line and trains passing regularly are making a big noise. The doors to the terrace not closing properly leaving almost two centimeters gap from the doorframe therefore the wind and noise are getting in the rooms!!!!! The room private pool is not assuring any privacy!!!

Hotel położony jest w malowniczej zatoczce, widok z tarasu zniewalający, więc miejsce jest rzeczywiście na 100% piękne. Sam hotel zadbany, pokoje luksusowe, wygodne łóżka, biel pościeli nieskazitelna, w łazienkach szlafroki, kapcie, kosmetyki - wszystko czego mogą potrzebować goście hotelu.

Cena za dobę jest dość wysoka, więc byliśmy zaskoczeni, że podczas checkoutu zaproponowano nam dodatkowo dopłacić za obsługę ok. 100€, niby napiwki za 3 doby. Koktajle takie jak spritz kosztują 23€, a przy wymeldowaniu się policzyli nam +15% za przyniesienie🙄. Zauważyliśmy również, że w pokojach bez napiwków nie zmieniają ręczników, a za parking policzono 40€ za dobę, chociaż wszędzie pisano, że cena jest 35€. Śniadania ogólnie są bardzo słabe jak na taki luksusowy hotel, w którym doba kosztuje średnio 500€. W żadnym hotelu takiego poziomu nie widziałam na śniadaniach osobnego meni by za większy wybór jajęcznicy czy kanapek trzeba było dopłacać po 20€ lub nawet więcej.

A marvelous and enchanting stay. Everything about the hotel was really outstanding. The views and convenience make it a logical place for a memorable visit to Sicily. I wish we could give 10 stars. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the location is phenomenal—but what makes it truly special are the people. The entire staff is so lovely and welcoming and kind that we were sad to leave them. Joe the concierge repeatedly went above and beyond to help us. He even called our airline multiple times to help us sort out an issue. We felt looked after and taken care of in a way we have never experienced before—Every five star hotel should have a concierge like Joe!!! Rosana and Nadia did an astounding job keeping our room sparkling clean and were delightful to chat with—I wish I could take them home with me!! In fact, the entire hotel was immaculate. I saw people washing door frames, smoke detectors, even emergency lights. The entire bar staff—Carmen, Grazia, Giuseppe, Saso, and Vicky—were so sweet and delightful that we went back every single night. Carmen whipped up a cocktail on the spot based on my preferences that was the best I’ve ever had. Aurora, Elena, Federica, Flavia, Katerina, and Mari are all so kind, cheerful, and helpful. And of course Domizia and Esmeralda at the spa are wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic stay—we look forward to seeing you all again soon! Ci vediamo presto!

Beautiful, amazing, heart warming from start to finish! 🫶🫶🫶 We love our time here at this Beautiful, stunning, hotel in Taormina very much and we already talking about coming back with our little one soon. The hotel, the location is unbeatable as it located right near the cable car that will take you to the Taormina town in minutes. There's a plenty of restaurants near by within walking distance that you can walk to or to Isla Bella Island. The hotel located in the middle of the beautiful cove of the ocean, so I dont think any room you get will be a bad room. The hotel renovation was tasteful, beautiful, soft Italian chic w luxury touch everywhere. And now the best part...the People 🫶👍👌👏 that work there, the staffs, the concierge, restaurants staffs, everyone was beautiful, friendly, and eager to help, they make you feel right at home without too overbearing. I also have the pleasure of meeting beautiful Karina, who is the concierge at the time I was there, she was sooo nice, genuinely happy & extremely helpful and accommodating on everything we asked....restaurants recommendations, tips and little things like hour of operation to the theater in Taormina or helping us change our reservation, she always do it with a smile, genuineness and without hesitation. With this kind of assistance and care, we feel total at ease that we can trust the people to enhance our stay even better (Taormina is another beautiful experience that will deserve separate review) As business owner, entrepreneurs, we can truly say, your business rely on the people you have on the ground, and this place got it righ!!! They have good people taking care of things! I read so many reviews of other hotels before deciding on this one, and am so glad I did! It was truly memorable & beautiful time for our anniversary, thank you for making that happen. The restaurant Amonia, on the terrace in the hotel was beautiful, amazing food and the whole evening vibe with the lighting, piano playing (that piano player was very good!) set up the most romantic vibe, looking out to the beautiful view in front of you! (I wish I could share that video I took) Anyhow, its too much to write, you just have to experience it yourself! Amazing, best time of all!!! decided to stay at mazzaro sea Palace after a good friend of mine, who visited in May, highly recommended it — and I’m so glad I listened! From the moment I arrived, I could see why he spoke so fondly of it. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located for exploring Taormina — everything is within easy reach, yet it still feels peaceful and relaxing. The property has been recently renovated, and it shows: elegant décor, attention to detail, and a lovely balance between modern comfort and Sicilian charm. A special mention goes to the reception team, who were always welcoming, professional, and ready to help with anything I needed. My room was absolutely immaculate, well maintained, and extremely comfortable — you can really tell how much care goes into keeping everything just right. Overall, Mazzaro sea Palace exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be coming back — and now I’ll be the one recommending it to my friends!

Excellent hotel, staff were so professional and polite. The rooms were exceptionally clean. Franco and Giovanni could not do enough for us when we were around the pool. Fantastic location with amazing views over the bay. Within easy walk of the cable cars which took us straight up to the town centre. Would not hesitate to book again and the final touch of the hand made gift made it that little bit extra special.

It’s very difficult to find a hotel that has so many positive aspects all together. A part from the stunning location and the fantastic seaside , what makes this place so spacial is for sure the staff. Professionality combined with a lovely and warm attitude towards the client. I was here last year and was pleasantly surprised to find a completely renovated Sea Palace! The new look is so breathtaking, the room is refined and recalls the colours of the sea! All the staff, especially housekeepers managers, were so friendly, cheerful and always ready to help us. we left a piece of our heart here and I think it has be come a regular stop for our holidays. The rooms were very comfortable with lovely bathrooms & comfortable beds. The breakfast terrace and bar area were gorgeous. The views were spectacular and the beach was in the sun in the morning. It was a great location. The staff were amazing especially the Concierge, Karina, who was so helpful when organising trips & excursions. The bar staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were so well looked after which made the holiday so special.

Best hotel experience Exceptional service and treatment of all the staff, specially the concierge Karina. The hotel is rich in details, thru the decoration, smell and amenities. The location js perfect on the best beach in taormina, with the only little stretch of sand of the beach. Plus, it is right next to the cable car that goes up town.

From the services to the accommodations, this hotel is truly a 5 star and is a treat for anyone who can get there. The rooms are beautiful, the views are amazing, but what really stands out is the staff and service. Always friendly and willing to help you out. It is not a stuffy friendliness but kind and natural friendliness where they are always there to help out when needed.

Truly memorable stay at this magnificent resort. We were 3 couples traveling to Taormina for the first time. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted at reception and could tell we were in for a special experience. Our rooms were exquisitely and smartly designed with views off the terrace that captured the beauty of the setting and the sea. Our breakfast buffet offered an impressive and delicious array of choices with the added bonus of the vista. All the staff are extremely professional, polite and warm. Of particular note, we must recognize Karina, the concierge, who understood us and enhanced our stay with excellent suggestions for drinks and dinner. We also want to give a shout out to Carmen and Zazo for bringing energy and fun to the bar. Thank you MSP for showing us a terrific time in Taormina. Me and my sister recently (September 2025) enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Sicily, staying at the beautiful Mazzaró Sea Palace in Taormina. From the moment me and my sister we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure both my sister and I felt truly looked after. The hotel itself was impeccable, spotless, elegant, and catered perfectly to all our needs. A special mention must go to Carmen, the Bar Manager, she really made our holiday unforgettable. She was warm, genuine, and such a wonderful person, her kindness and hospitality stood out above all. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taormina, and I look forward to returning. Special thanks to the staff, Carmen, Ciccio, Nico, Viki, Franco, Claudio, Federica, Gerardo, Jo, Domizia, Wissal (Wissy) and of course others that have not been mentioned, thank you for making our memorable.

This could be a little long, because I want to recognize specific staff members, so for folks reading for information on the hotel (without me going on about specifics!) Location: For a 5* beach vacation in Taormina, this is the place to go. A beautiful private beach with more sunbeds than guests, competent and helpful lifeguard staff, table service from the bar and shower facilities in the pool area should you wish to avail. It’s a shingle beach but fairly fine, so no problem to walk on and lovely to swim at Food: Incredible. Both restaurants are spectacular, worth every penny Rooms: gorgeous. We took to returning to our room from the beach after lunch most days to finish the day on our balcony, it was that nice! Service: out of this world. The staff were so efficient and thoughtful, but it didn’t feel like they were “always watching”, if that makes sense. I’ve not experienced such high quality service in such a warm and assured way before - nothing we asked for was an imposition, and most of the time we didn’t even have to ask, the staff offered first! Value: This depends on whether you read “value” as “I didn’t spend much and felt like I got a lot” or “I got everything I paid for and more besides”. Mazzaro Sea Palace is the latter. The cost is as expected for a 5* hotel, but we received a 6* experience in my opinion, which is huge value for money I feel. Okay, stop reading here if you just wanted the lowdown on the hotel to make a decision, you have everything you need for that!). I’m aware that often the leaders that decide on company culture etc will read these types of reviews. In case that’s happening now, I want to get specific on what was especially good in the service we received: - Weeks before we arrived, Elisabetta in guest relations reached out to us to provide information on what we could book in advance. When I responded, Gerardo and Gioacchino from the concierge team arranged multiple bookings for restaurants, excursions and transfers, all before we had left home. I have not encountered this type of proactivity in a guest relations team before and it really sets this hotel apart in terms of service - Elisabetta and Karina taking the time to introduce themselves at our first breakfast was a lovely way to break the ice and make it clear who and where we could go with questions or requests. Having a WhatsApp account for the concierge team was a great touch, and I really appreciated the confirmations and directions shared in this way - the concierge team (Gioacchino and Karina looked after us but the whole team is excellent) continued to arrange anything we needed during our stay and made excellent recommendations for restaurants and other things to do - the front desk team was wonderful, so happy to help with anything we needed (Federica sticks out in my mind, but honestly anyone we spoke with was so very helpful and fun to talk to, the entire team is excellent) -The entire restaurant, bar and lifeguard team were so helpful and pleasant to deal with, we really did feel so well looked after our entire stay. I’ve definitely forgotten some folks but Francisco, Elena, Flora, Jessica, Nino, Giovanni and Senuri at the restaurant, Nicolas at the bar and Giovanni on the lifeguard team stick out in my mind as especially helpful and pleasant to talk to - but I’ve definitely forgotten some other folks that helped us in the restaurant or on the beach. They all made us feel so welcome and were so endlessly helpful and fun, honestly they made the vacation what it was - The housekeeping team are the most efficient, thorough and pleasant team ever. We were floored at the detailed approach they took with the room, and they were all so lovely to speak to any time we saw each other -Maintenance helped us with our safe (we’re super dumb) and were so kind and efficient in fixing what we’d done! Again, a job like maintenance wouldn’t strike you as a customer service role, but this team treated it like one The team is incredibly talented and I hope that the hotel continues to provide an atmosphere and culture to retain and grow this team. A flawless experience all round!

We, my two adult sons and I stayed for four nights at the Mazzaro Sea Palace…what a wonderful time we had. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms, the setting, the public spaces, the beach…But it’s the people working there that make it so very special! Delilah, Carmen, Mattia, Gabrielle, Lusiana and Elaina are just a few of the amazing staff…there are many more fabulous people, I’m sorry to not remember all their names…I highly recommend the hotel, breakfast is amazing, the bar is great, dining on the terrace is lovely, and relaxing on the beach is divine!

What a beautiful hotel - tremendous situation ( for the sea and the town via the very close cable car), lovely room, very good restaurant, excellent facilities but most significantly, exceptionally attentive and pleasant staff. Perhaps the best sea front hotel we’ve ever been to.

Everything was amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. The hotel even prepared a welcome note and small dessert to share because they found out we were on our honeymoon. Every detail was magnificent, from the recently-renovated room, to the food, and especially the setting right on the Mazzaro Bay with private beach loungers and umbrellas. The service was exceptional at all times, the staff were so helpful, and the on-site restaurant, Armonia, was our best meal of the vacation (we returned twice)! We couldn't recommend this hotel enough and can't wait to be back!

Amazing location, setting, and view. Breakfast was insane. Room was well designed, modern and well appointed. Service A+. We had them do our laundry and they did a great job but we had to take out a mortgage to pay for it.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Immediately welcomed at front when dropped off and escorted inside to front desk where you are checked in. Very kind and helpful staff. Communication was not an issue as they spoke clear English. Arrived early, room was not ready, however they were able to place our bags in a temporary room in order to freshen up and change. Hung out at the beach and were able to eat, drink, relax and use all other ammenities while waiting for room. Notified via text when room was ready. Very nice room with amazing view from balcony terrace. Room turnover multiple times a day. Beach club and Amarè restaurant were top notch with wonderful and attentive service Amazing stay, will definitely return, and highly recommend

Mazzarò Sea Palace is a very special place. From the moment of arrival to the sadness of departure the staff could not do enough for us. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a magnificent balcony where we could read to the sound of the sea. The food was delicious. The gym had everything needed for a good workout with water, fruit, health bars and even towels in the fridge to help cool down. The hotel’s greatest asset is the staff, all of whom work together to make this hotel a warm, welcoming haven.

Mazzaro Sea Palace was simply magnificent. From the warm welcome to the beautiful views, the exquisite rooms, the hospitality of the staff…it was perfect. Started our day beachside after we landed early morning. They kept our luggage and we relaxed (slept) listening to the gentle waves of the sea. The view from our room was breathtaking. Beach and pool were equally enjoyable and refreshing. Breakfast was delicious with a wide array of food choices, as well as local flavors to try. At night the sounds of the piano player singing while we had a night cap overlooking the stillness of the sea was so peaceful. What we did not anticipate was the proximity to the cable car which took us nightly to Taormina city center where there was abundant shopping, eating and beautiful sites. We cannot say enough about Mazzaro Sea Palace. Meeting a couple from England who say they come back year after year to Mazzaro Sea Palace, I can see why. We will be back. The service and attention to detail we got at the Mazzarò Sea Palace was beyond our expectations. Dalila , Joe and come to think about it all the people at the front desk and concierge services made us feel like we were special, important guests and wanted. Never forgetting what we did yesterday and what we were doing today and what will we be doing tomorrow. Beside helping planning our trips they solved every problem we had along the way, we felt like babies enveloped with love and care. Rather exceptional coming from people we didn’t know prior to our stay. I would like to take the opportunity to thank everybody at the hotel who made it so special from the doormen to waiters to maids we couldn’t have had a better service, rare indeed.

Property was beautiful and staff very helpful. Close to the funicular up to Taormina's center. We tipped the whole trip but realized in the end that the hotel takes a significant amount out for employees.

An amazing stay at Mazzarò Sea Palace, perfect location in the Bay Area with a short walk to the cable car. A particular mention to Franco and Giovanni the life guards/beach staff who were amazing and so attentive throughout the day! Thank you, you made the difference!

I've been to Sicily four times and every trip was wonderful but this hotel is by far our favorite! Everything from the food, the room, the views, the location. All get a 10. But what sets this place even further apart from the rest is the service. The people. The most lovely, accommodating and kind staff. They do everything to make you feel like you're having the experience of a lifetime but with all of the comforts of home. Frederica, Karina, Gerardo and the rest of the staff are now family! They treated us with such care and kindness. We are going to miss this place. We can't wait to come back to Mazzaro Sea Palace.

After extensive research and having visited Taormina previously, I chose Mazzarò Sea Palace for our honeymoon, staying 5 nights in Sicily. I had booked through Citi Travel, opting for their concierge services to secure the In-Suite Pool Sea Room, which has a private balcony pool overlooking the water. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I learned that due to a mismatch between Citi’s booking partner and the hotel, the room type confirmed was completely different. After months of planning an international wedding and honeymoon, this was devastating, especially after a long day of travel and little sleep. And here’s where Mazzarò Sea Palace truly distinguished itself. The hotel manager, Delilah, along with her incredible team - Martina, Gioachhino, and Gerardo, immediately stepped in with empathy and urgency. They didn’t treat this as an “inconvenience” (as the booking agencies did), but as something that mattered deeply. Their commitment to making our stay unforgettable went far beyond what was expected. From complete help of moving our bags numerous times, genuine conversations, and small to big acts of kindness; they transformed what began as a low point into one of the most meaningful parts of our trip. By the end, I didn’t just feel like a guest, I honestly felt like I had formed friendships. Leaving was bittersweet, and I can say with certainty that I’ll be back soon, not just for the beauty of Taormina but specifically for the warmth and hospitality of Delilah and her team. Mazzarò Sea Palace is more than a luxury hotel with breathtaking views, it’s a place where you are welcomed every minute with genuinity and kindness, and feel like you're already at home. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Sicily, and I’m grateful to have chosen it for such a special moment in my life.

My travel agent suggested this hotel and I'm so happy she did. It was an amazing stay, rooms were very clean, modern and so comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.
