The hotel is in a great location on Isola Bella beach and offers a good breakfast, restaurant and a conveniente parking. However, the standout feature is the service; all the staff members , Diego, Irene, Martina, Salvatore you rock!!! are extremely friendly and competent, and above all, they genuinely care about the guest. They are pro-active and comitted to do the extra mile. Best ever!!!🙌

Le seul aspect positif de notre séjour est l’admirable attitude du personnel destinée à compenser l’état de l’établissement.

Il serait très long de faire la liste des griefs que l’on peut exprimer après un séjour dans un établissement 5 étoiles qui n’est en fait qu’un village de vacances . Des photos sur l’état de notre chambre sont à votre disposition. Pour mémoire une chambre/ bungalow au prix de 1000€ ne valant pas plus de 250 €….Une salle de bains sans âge , un lavabo qui n’évacue pas l’eau, une douche sans diffuseur, avec un seul plafonnier. Je m’interroge sur l’évaluation de cet établissement par les professionnels.

Otel denizin hemen önünde, ısobella koyunun en güzel yerindeydi. Plaj ve şezlonglar çok konforlu, deniz havluları tertemizdi. Plaj barındaki garsonların hizmetinden de çok memnun kaldık. Odalar tertemizdi. Kahvalti cesitliligi ve lezzeti mukemmeldi. Otelin konumu şehir merkezine de çok yakındı, teleferikle yukarıya çıkıp her yere rahatça ulaşabildik. Ayrıca personel çok ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü, Giarda’ya da ayrica cok tesekkur ederiz. Kısaca Taormina’ya tekrar gelirsek kalacagımız tek otel burası olurdu. Pahalı olduğunu düşünmüştük gelmeden önce ama verdiğimiz paraya sonuna kadar değdi gerçekten. Şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum :)

It was a beautiful location right on Isola Bella beach. The staff were so nice and accommodating. We switched our room because it wasn’t the one we booked so Carla upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi at no extra charge.

This was hands down, the best holiday we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cherished and completely at home. What truly sets La Plage Resort apart is the genuinely authentic service from the warm, meaningful conversations to the sincere effort from every team member to ensure our stay was flawless. The location is unbeatable, nestled right on the beach directly facing the stunning Isola Bella. I rarely swim but the resort offers a beautiful beach with private access that made it irresistible. Every day at 6:00 AM, my wife and I would take an early morning swim and watch the sunrise together. It was a truly special and therapeutic experience that we will always treasure. On top of that, everything was handled with incredible care, whether it was curating wonderful local experiences or arranging seamless transfers. We were visiting to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday, and the team made it a milestone she will cherish forever. The thoughtful touches throughout her special day were exceptional, from the sweet birthday greeting and personal cake with candles at breakfast, to balloons delivered to our room, and, of course, a very generous room upgrade. Having traveled extensively throughout Italy, we can confidently say this is by far our favorite place. We are already looking forward to returning soon. A special, heartfelt thank you to Salvatore, Irene, Diego, Giada, Carla, Francesco, Elena, and both Fabios for making our stay so remarkable!

We had a wonderful stay at La Plage Resort while celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The location is stunning, the atmosphere is very special, and the whole team made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Salvatore, who helped us organize our anniversary celebration. His personal involvement, attention to detail and willingness to help with absolutely everything made the evening truly unforgettable. Thank you to Salvatore and the entire team for making such an important occasion so special for us. We are leaving Taormina with beautiful memories and would happily return.

The view was beautiful, and some members of staff were cooperative and clearly trying their best despite appearing to work under considerable pressure. However, this level of helpfulness was not consistent across the team.

I strongly urge travellers—especially solo travellers—to think very carefully before booking La Plage Resort. Despite its advertised five-star status, this was the worst and most disturbing hotel experience I have ever had. I am a Booking.com Genius Level 3 traveller with a long and impeccable booking history. I am accustomed to international hospitality standards, and what I experienced at this property was completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. Their conduct turned what should have been an enjoyable conclusion to my holiday into an extremely distressing experience. Instead of enjoying my remaining time in Sicily, I found myself counting the hours until I could leave the resort—and ultimately leave Italy. The room felt extremely dated and poorly maintained. The ventilation was inadequate, and the cleaning appeared superficial rather than thorough, leaving the space feeling stale, neglected and uncomfortable. The overall atmosphere of the room felt noticeably low and depressing, which inevitably affected my mood and sense of well-being as a guest. I also found insects in the curtains, ants and spiders around the tables and cups. The following day, I discovered a thick spiderweb covered in accumulated dust and dirt near the furniture. I documented all of these conditions with photographs and videos. The resort is also located directly beside a railway line, and the repeated noise throughout the night was extremely disruptive. My room faced a dilapidated, apparently abandoned structure immediately beside the property, leaving the balcony feeling exposed and raising serious security concerns for me as a woman travelling alone. The restaurant was equally disappointing. Flies repeatedly landed on the food while the doors were left open, and the restaurant floor was visibly dirty. Even basic five-star service was absent: drinking water was not replenished in the room unless I called to request it.

Ho trascorso una vacanza splendida al La Plage Resort e mi sono trovata davvero benissimo sotto ogni aspetto. La camera era stupenda, molto curata e accogliente, e tutto lo staff è sempre stato gentilissimo, disponibile e attento. Anche il cibo è stato ottimo: la colazione era buonissima, con tanta scelta e prodotti di qualità. Abbiamo provato anche il ristorante dell’hotel per cena e abbiamo mangiato splendidamente. Un altro grande punto di forza è sicuramente la spiaggia: abbiamo sempre trovato posto e avere tutto così comodo e ben organizzato ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. È stata davvero una vacanza bellissima e un’esperienza che ricorderò con piacere!

Everything was excellent — from the comfort and beauty of our room to the exceptional service and attention from the entire team. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional and genuinely caring, making us feel very special throughout our stay. The location is simply breathtaking. Waking up surrounded by such beautiful scenery and having the crystal-clear Sicilian sea just steps away was unforgettable. The beach and the sea are absolutely stunning, and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful, elegant and very special. Our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable, the service was impeccable, and every detail was taken care of with great attention. A special thank you to Daniele and the entire team for their warmth, kindness and hospitality. La Plage Resort is one of those places you leave already thinking about when you can come back. Ci hanno dato la camera in anticipo l’orario di checkin e permesso un late checkout per farci rientrare dopo una giornata di mare in tranquillità. L’accesso alla spiaggia è vicinissimo alle camere e lo rende un plus incredibile con vista fantastica su isola bella. Al ristorante Idda abbiamo mangiato divinamente, il pesce era freschissimo. Ci torneremo sicuro

The private beach location here is truly unbeatable, once you visit other spots around Taormina, you completely understand why "Plage" is in the hotel's name! :) The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone from reception to the beach club team and housekeeping was incredibly polite, welcoming, and happy to help. We stayed for breakfast-only to explore local restaurants, and it offered a good variety with decent quality.

A very minor detail, but the Aperol spritz at the beach club could have been a bit stronger considering the price point :)

We had a wonderful stay at La Plage Resort. The location directly by Isola Bella is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Our room was lovely, the food was delicious, and the entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. A very special thank to Martina, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She organized wonderful activities for us, helped us with all our requests, and made sure that we had a truly memorable experience. The entire team made us feel very welcome and well cared for. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at La Plage Resort. The location next to the beautiful Isola Bella is perfect, and the hotel has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well organized. A special thank to Martina, who made our stay even more enjoyable. She organized wonderful activities for us, helped us with reservations and transportation, and was always available whenever we needed anything. We also had an excellent massage at the spa—it was incredibly relaxing and one of the highlights of our stay. The whole team was friendly and professional, and we would happily recommend this hotel. We had such a lovely stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and every member of the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They even surprised me with a small birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful and special touch. When we were leaving, they also gave us little gifts, which made our stay even more memorable. We had a wonderful 4 night stay at La Plage. The staff were excellent - incredibly helpful, friendly and so sweet to our 10 month old daughter. The location is stunning, and the direct access to the beach with dedicated loungers was so so great. It was easy to take the funicular up to Taormina to sightsee or go for dinner.

A wonderful stay at La Plage Resort. We would especially like to highlight the extraordinary service from the entire staff, particularly the reception team and, above all, Irene, who was absolutely lovely and always made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms, which we had are charming little cottages each with its garden and jacuzzi have breathtaking views of the sea and Isola Bella. The access to Taormina is very easy by cable car, although we would recommend taking a taxi for greater comfort. If you are three people, the price is practically the same, and it is definitely worth it. The breakfast was excellent, and we also had lunch at the hotel one day, which we thoroughly enjoyed as well. A special mention must also go to the beach staff. They are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need and that you are comfortable. We had a truly wonderful few days and would like to sincerely thank the entire La Plage Resort team for making our stay so special. We hope to come back someday!

The staff were excellent, great service, super helpful, friendly and quick to respond to every need. It was an excellent location too, right on the beach, and the beach club staff very attentive. Great views from the rooms, and the hot tub was a definite bonus.

The rooms inside needed some updating in order to be truly 5 star, but they were clean, comfortable and excellent value for money.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful and this was the real highlight of our stay and the location was perfect being in isobella with wonderful beachfront and view on isola bella and able to go to taormina town very easily

Our stay at La Plage Resort was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning, with a beautiful private beach and breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding coastline. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Taormina. What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the staff. Every person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and attentive. They genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. The combination of the amazing beach, spectacular views, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality made our stay truly special. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend La Plage Resort!

I noticed this hotel while travelling through Sicily one autumn. Then we came to stay here and to visit Isola Bella(a wonderful and mysterious island just in walking distance). We liked breakfasts here. They are served on a terrace open-air,so fresh ,stunning view and delicious food. The service is nice. We booked a bungalow. It was a bit dark and congested. Right in front of the bed there is a bathroom door,and it is transparent. To spend lots of time out in the beach and travelling around the island may be it’s fine. I wouldn’t choose this bungalow again. There is a hotel area. It might be better and brighter. There is a pebble beach and the water is crystal clear. It’s pretty cool.

The worst beach club ever. Everything was dirty, old and the staff members didn’t seem to care or do their job. For less price there are other beach clubs those are way better. Those provide 5star experience, La plage has got to be a joke. The sunbeds are old and uncomfortable, located as if we were directly on the street. We asked for water right when we arrived and waited !!!1 hour!!! At that point we had to go ourselves to the bar. It was the same w everything we asked for. When we went to get lunch we were told that they don’t have any tables available (they did) and after stating that it’s not okay that we are guests and they don’t have enough tables which they don’t mention while reserving the beach clubs. Only after 20 minute arguing they gave us the table. The service was again super long and bad. The food was horrible. They use frozen fish. The place itself was dirty and old. When we were discussing of how bad the beach club is, the waiter told us he understands our language as if we’re some teenagers that he wanted to “give a lesson” I told him that I can tell him in every language I speak that this beach club is horrible and it’s not something we’re hiding. Later some ladies (from guest relation I guess) came over to check on us but it was already 4pm and there was no sense on giving us “free drinks” especially that we had our unused tickets. We do not recommend this place. There are other beach clubs like Nuova Soiaggia Paradiso and Tao beach those are 100x times better.

We booked Sun beds at La Plage Beach Club Resort, Taormina for the day through the spiagge.it booking page. We had a wonderful day on Isola Bella beach. The booking included the sun-beds, towels, 2 waters and two drinks. We also had a nice lunch at the beach restaurant. We arranged our own transfers from the cruise port in Messina (allow for an hour each way). The staff was lovely and the atmosphere was very nice and relaxed.

Our room specifically was basic and dark with one window with no natural light. Our fault for booking that room though

La Plage is an exceptional resort. We were welcomed by an upgrade of our room, which was a sea view room with a nice terrace, comfortable bed and exceptionally clean room. The staff are very welcoming and no issue seems to be a problem for them. Parking facilities are good and quite spacious for Isola Bella. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and terrace overlooking the sea. The beach is within the resort's facilities. One of the best resorts we have been to and will definitely be back.

some extra items at breakfast such as omlettes, french toast etc need to be paid for, maybe they can be included in the price.

It was a brilliant stay in a wonderful Hotel. The hotel is newly renovated and has a great location right on the seafront, with a private beach and parking, just a five-minute walk from the funicular that goes to the city center. I'd especially like to mention the all hotel staff ❤️ friendly, young, and always ready to help, and they booked us from the best restaurants in town. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Taormina!
