We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Castilla Alicante. Our room was great, with a lovely view over the pool and the sea in the distance. We also had a beautiful, spacious terrace, which we really enjoyed. Comfy beds too! The room was cleaned every day and everything was kept very clean throughout our stay. The staff at reception were always extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent – just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach, with plenty of local cafés and restaurants nearby. The tram stops are also only a short walk away, making it very easy to get into the centre of Alicante or travel further along the coast to places like Benidorm and Altea. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely choose Hotel Castilla again when visiting Alicante!

Na večeru bol výber iba z dvoch jedál, iba mäso a ryba vo forme menu, očakávali sme švédske stoly. Jedlo bolo nedochutené a polosurové, hamburger bol strašný, viď.foto. Stále vypadávala wifi a kazili sa výťahy. Na izbe dva dni nedoplnili toaletný papier a chýbala kefa na toaletu. Klimatizáciu sme cítili minimálne, aj keď bola nastavená na najvyššom stupni. Na všetkom šetrili.

Szép kívül, belül a szálloda. Közel a part és a busz, villamos. Hangulatos, nagyméretü, tiszta medence, napozóágyakkal. Nagy erkély. A vacsora 3 fogásos, menüválasztásos, a séf kitűnő.

Kettő lift volt, ebből csak egy üzemelt. Sokat kellett várni, ezért inkább a lépcsőt használtuk. 3. emeleten voltunk, nem jelentett nekünk gondot, de 8 emeletes az épület.

Unfortunately, only one elevator was in operation during our stay. We were staying on the 8th floor, and we often had to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive or for it to become empty enough for us to use it. The hotel does not have bicycles available for rent, even though bicycle rental is listed as one of the services offered. We were disappointed by this, as we had specifically counted on being able to rent bicycles during our stay.

Ter feito esta reserva há cerca de 10 meses e terem colocado num quarto traseiras do 1 andar. Para entrar para a cama tinha que entrar por cima dela à frente porque de ambos os lados não havia espaço. Pedi para mudar de quarto e disseram que não era possível porque estavam cheios e não era verdade. Tive 03 noites

Long delays waiting for the lift as one was broken. Not there fault I'm sure. It was out of order for 4 days up until we left and it was so hot so stairs walking was fine but hard in the heat. It was just a small thing. Otherwise I absolutely love and it won't stop me from returning again next year

The hotel is close to the night clubs so there is noisy even after midnight. We had very bad experience with the elevator. We got stuck in the elevator. We rang the alarm many times but nobody came. After ten minutes, I rang the bell again and nervously asked for help. The receptionist arrived, opened the doors of the elevator—which was stuck between the first and second floors—and told us to jump out. We asked him if it was safe. He said he didn't know, but he had to call a repairman. Since it was a Saturday, no one came—not even on Sunday. I would have expected the hotel staff member to at least apologize for the unpleasant experience, but that didn't happen. So my feelings are confused after that.

The hotel is one of my favourites, been here many times, it has a great reception staff, easy check in, and the hotel is very close to the beach, walking distance of about 40meters. There is great amenities around the hotel and things to do. The room is good size, balcony and clean bathroom. the facilities are top notch. The location is near bus and Tram stops to get into city centre or El Campello if you want. A great hotel simply put - you wont be disapponted

El baño es todo nuevo. La decoración de la habitación está bien. La cama, si el colchón estuviera bien es muy grande y espaciosa.

El ascensor tarda bastante en venir. El colchón de la cama está un poco en mal estado. Te levantas con dolor de espalda. En el baño parece que está el vecino de la habitación de al lado. Y las camareras de habitación son muy ruidosas, entiendo que tienen que hacer la limpieza, pero los clientes del hotel no tienen por qué madrugar, estamos de vacaciones.

Nice place, close to the beach. Every day was cleaning. Very helpful stuff. I liked the shower so much, and the bed was very comfortable.

Too noisy till 3 a.m, a lot of bars in the surround. The bacon more than small/room for 1 person. Not enough spanish restaurants close to the hotel, just more international fast food options, many restaurants were closed on Monday/Thuesday. A little bit far from the downtown, the public transport options could be better.

Parking excesivamente caro. Me parece lamentable que cobren por usar la caja de seguridad de la habitación. Desayuno también caro para lo que ofrece.

Location is amazing very near to beach. Bus stop is right at the gate to go main centre or Benidorm. Tram station is also very near to hotel. There is also a supermarket nearby where you will get all the stuff. Room is big and comfortable. Big balcony and we had some view for sea as well. Pool is clean and good.

Excellent location, close to the beach and within a short walk to see the Cirque du Soleil. Also an excellent vegetarian restaurant within ten minutes walk. Couldn’t park in the hotel but found a space very close by even in August!

La cercanía a la playa es lo mejor que tiene, por lo demás las instalaciones bien pero muy básicas. La media pensión, es menú, no buffet, elegir entre dos primeros y dos segundos. La comida muy buena, pero poco donde elegir. La piscina bien, la zona de tumbonas pequeña, por suerte no había mucha gente.

El personal en general me pareció seco y distante, excepto algún recepcionista. Nos tocaron unos vecinos de habitación italianos muy ruidosos a horas de descanso (siesta y noche). Viajo con mi hija de 7 años y a la 1, 2 o 3 de la mañana entrando y saliendo de la habitación y en la terraza fumando y hablando en tono muy elevado.

La ubicacion es muy buena. Cerca de la playa y de la zona de locales (chiringuitos, restaurantes, etc.) El desayuno es tipo buffet. No esta mal, pero los hay mejores. La piscina esta bien aunque es algo pequeña. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento

En la rejilla de aire de la habitacion, faltaba la pieza (filtro) que va por dentro y que evita por ejemplo, que se vea el interior. Mi pareja estuvo con miedo todos los dias de que entrara algun "bicho" ademas de quejarse por mal olor. He de reconocer que no vimos ningun "bicho" y que el mal olor fue durante el primer dia solamente, quizás debido a estar mucho tiempo cerrada la habitacion. El precio algo caro para el hotel que es pero, imagino que las circunstancias (finales de julio, mucha gente en San Juan...) disparan el precio

Good location

The hotel was very uptight re: food, facilities, pool. And the pool doesn’t open til 10am and closes at 9pm. You can’t hang around the pool and enjoy a late night drink.

J’ai passé un séjour vraiment excellent dans cet hôtel ! Tout était parfait du début à la fin. La chambre était très propre, agréable et bien entretenue, on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Un énorme merci également à l’accueil, et particulièrement au monsieur qui parlait français : il était adorable, très gentil, accueillant et vraiment à l’écoute. Ça fait énormément plaisir d’avoir quelqu’un avec qui on peut échanger facilement. Je recommande cet hôtel à 100 % ! Une très belle expérience à Alicante, je reviendrai sans hésiter. ❤️

La pensión completa no es bufet solo tienes dos primeros y dos segundos para elegir en la comida y cena. Con razón no había casi nadie

Ubicación; habitación mobiliario renovado; todo muy limpio y cómoda. La piscina con hamacas muy bien la disfrutamos casi todos los días: muy bien comunicado con el centro autobús y tranvía paran justo frente al hotel y el personal de recepción amable servicial y atento.

El desayuno baja la puntuación de este hotel, la fruta escasa de variedad y la tienes que coger entera y pelarla, escasas opciones de bollería, no merece la pena no recomiendo el desayuno. Otra pega es no tener una neverita en la habitación para poder tener agua fría o fruta. Y otro detalle nadie nos advirtió por seguridad la ventana de la terraza no se puede abrir desde fuera nos quedamos encerrados y tuvimos que llamar a recepción para que nos abrieran para poder entrar en la habitación, nunca salir a la terraza sin el móvil!

Tuvimos un problema en la entrada porque la señora de la recepción no le dejó subir la bicicleta a la habitación a mi marido. Es una bicicleta de 5000e. Mi marido se enfado y ella no entendió que necesitábamos estar tranquilos y que la bicicleta estuviera bajo nuestra custodia. Al día siguiente otro chico muy amable si nos dejó subir la bicicleta porque lo entendió perfectamente. La tranquilidad del cliente en primordial. No vamos a un hotel a sufrir por algo que se resuelve de una forma tan sencilla. La comunidad ciclista es muy grande y lo sucedido le puede hacer perder al hotel muchos clientes. Si algún día volvemos lo dejaremos muy claro antes de ir. La señora de la recepción muy poco empatica con la circunstancia. Muy mal por ella y muy bien por su compañero. El si nos hizo disfrutar tranquilamente de nuestro 5 días de vacaciones. El hotel está muy bien, el personal en general es atento, está limpio y buena ubicación junto al mar. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca y tiendas. Pero si son ciclistas llamen antes.

Well placed hotel (5 min walk to the beach), quiet area, has a lot of stores around, plus the a wide variety of restaurants. Very nice staff, clean room, excellent beds. The cleaning staff was there each day. Overall it was a wonderful stay, and I would return happily. Also the TRAM station is close to reach Alicante Center to visit, or Benidorm for the aqua and nature parks.

Two things I would comment: There was a lot of sound from the neighbor rooms, especially in our bathroom from the adjacent bathroom. But luckily the guests there were ok, so we didn't had any issues. And the second point is the breakfast. Even if the food was good and plenty, it lacked diversity. Each day it was the same breakfast, and to be honest I would have appreciated it to be a little more... Spanish :). It would have been nice to have some churros, some pincho tortilla, some local sweets. Even if the omlette / eggs were nicely done, and the assortments of cheese and meat was good, it lacked a local flavor.

Frühstück typisch spanisch mit einer Auswahl wo jeder was findet leider keine Milch verfügbar. Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich Check-In war früher möglich schönes 3 Sterne Hotel in der Nähe vom Strand. In der Nähe eroski City Supermarkt und ein spanischer Gemüse und obsthändler. Parkplätze rundherum am Hotel umsonst ( parking publico) und an den Stränden auch umsonst man muss aber früh morgens nach einem Parkplatz suchen ab mittags wird es schwieriger . Strandpromenade sehr sehr schön breiter Strand Restaurants und Bars sehr viel zu finden

Zimmer könnte ein bisschen besser geputzt werden aber ich war nur eine Nacht dort mich hat es nicht gestört

Grande chambre très propre. Hôtel situé à 150 m de la plage et proche de nombreux restaurants. Agréable balcon, vue mer...à travers les hautes tours... Bon petit déjeuner. Parking relativement facile dans la rue. Jolie piscine avec transats et parasols.

Le manque d'amabilite du personnel. Le tarif exhorbitant, 230 euros la nuit pour un service minimaliste ! L'ascenseur pas très sécurisant...

Die Lage war sehr schön, nah an dem wunderschönen Strand und zu den Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ausgesprochen gut, war allerdings tatsächlich das Essen am Abend. Es gab ein Menü mit einer Auswahl von zwei Speisen. Der Koch muss wirklich sehr gelobt werden. Außergewöhnlich gut.

Es ist sehr einfach ausgestattet. Der Blick von den Terrassen führt auf Häuser man hat keinen Weitblick. Es war alles so, wie man es von einem drei Sterne Hotel erwarten kann.
