Location was good. The bed was comfortable.

We had water leaking through the ceiling and had to move rooms. The TV in the second room didn't work. Someone was supposed to come to investigate and didn't. No towels in the second room. We had to ask. Several fittings were broken and needed repair, including the lock to the door and the spout in the bath. It was coming off the wall. We only had three pillows for a double bed and no extra blankets were provided.

Good location, staff were friendly.

Wifi would be hit or miss in our room. Pool was down for renovations. And the shower tub spout was just hanging on by a thread. We then got moved to another room which we were hopeful would be better, one with a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi tub wasn’t working and they couldn’t get it to work either. :( Super sad to of spent a rainy weekend in PEI with the hotel conditions.

I liked to location, it was nice to get out and walk with the dogs up the side streets. The other guests were very happy to see animals and frequently stopped us. Breakfast was great!

On the first night we received a call from the front desk that we would need to do something with our dog as our neighbour complained about barking. The barking was from across the hall, and I was upset that the staff didnt come to verify that, instead just called us with the complaint.

Other than the Indian restaurant next-door, there is nothing positive to say about this hotel.

There was honestly nothing redeeming I can say about this hotel. The staff seemed as if I was bothering them, when I asked if they could fix the tv and wifi there was no solution so I went without. The breakfast was in edible served in a very damp basement with outlets that would not work to try to plug anything into. The room was definitely not cleaned this century. There were noticeable hairs throughout the bathroom. The plug for the tub was left to rust on the side of the tub. They offered one towel for each person however you could buy new towels for $25. And when laying in the bed, you could noticeably see that the ceiling was peeling and falling down around you. When I tried to bring these concerns or issues up to the manager, he refused to return a telephone call nor answer a call, even though the staff at the front desk who I was noticeably bothering with my concerns about my stay stated that he would call me that day.

Old building smells like mold, no fan in bathroom, no hot water for half a day, bed was hard and full of springs, only one ice machine have to go outside and into another building to access. The main office and breakfast area is in a separate building. Fruit would be nice The second building is like an old hotel/motel and it isn't no holiday inn. If you want a cheapish place to crash for a night it's fine.

Location in Summerside was great, and the price for that time of year was reasonable

Parking wasn’t great, had to park a long ways from main entrance, and then on top, the elevator wasn’t working and we had to carry our luggage up stairs. Was extremely loud up until almost midnight, but then we were able to get sleep. Sounded like a lot of kids near by and people arguing.

The area

Shower didn't work; air conditioner was 2 settings: hot or freeze; free breakfast wasn't accessible due to too many people waiting in line -full every 15 mins we tried and had to go elsewhere; every movement made on the bed, it cracked and scraped. Old metal beds on concrete tile floors. No updates in the facility since it opened but the prices keep rising. You had to even pay for an extra tax -beautification tax. For what the owners pocket? Unfortunately it was the only available hotel in the area and the price was ludicrous for what it was.

The location was good. Parking was full. I got the last spot.

1. The room was a 2 double beds that was NOT even close to be worth $ 342.00 for 3 senior men. 2. We were supposed to have a cot in our room but that room had no room to put a cot in , room # 321 , so we slept 2 in one bed , not what we planned on or expected. Very disappointed. 3. The breakfast was very underwhelming to say the least.

Staff; cleanliness; ability to open the door/ it was so stuck I had to use a lot of shoulder strength to open and close the door.

Elevator broke down on our second day had to use the stairs. Bath tub needed recoating old.

To much noises can be heard from the another room’s. We get power shortages in our room in many times. The tv turn on by itself like the room was haunted.

Although parking was included there wasn't enough fornthebjotel so you hade parking spots all around the hotel in back om the side in front of the long term rental rooms so it was hard to find a spot in the evening when everyone was returning back to the hotel. The rooms were updated but the work was done poorly and it showed. The room was not that clean, dirt and marks on the walls, the shower wasn't too clean with mold kn the grout... the elevator was slow and very small and old looked like someone tried to hide the peeling paneling with old framing... the overall feel of the hotel well that it was understaffed and they couldn't keep up with the cleaning or renovations needed. Also the free internet didn't work. The TV was app based using wifi which didn't work so no wifi in my room for our phones or tablets and no wifi on the tv either. In a town that closes around 9 pm made for early nights...

The shower curtain smelt really musty and needs javex or replaced. We cleaned the vents in the air conditioner and they were dirty.

The bed was very comfortable and the location was great. Breakfast included.

In general the room needed maintenance/ updating especially the washroom. Luckily the staff brought us a fridge after we told them there wasn't one in the room.

Right on the center of town, horrible parking, hotel has apartments also being rented with lint term tenants and cluttered parking area, this hotel is next to a bar and very loud

At least in the middle of the night I was able to get the room even though my ordered room wasn’t available

Unfortunately the room I booked wasn’t available therefore I had to switch the single bed three rooms and cost me more than I was quoted for.

Beds were comfortable. Room is updated and clean. There was a grab bar in the bathtub. Lots of space in the room. Large windows that was close to the street at eye level had a great picture of a lighthouse with a sunset. A very nice touch. We enjoyed the Indian restaurant right next door.

Air conditioner is very close to the bed making one bed very cold. There was no soap in the soap container by the sink. The bath did not drain well during the shower. The bathtub was very slippery and dangerous.

Die Lüftung im Bad war so laut, dass man sich im Zimmer nicht mehr unterhalten konnte, geschweige denn nachts mit Licht im Bad auf Toilette konnte ohne alle zu wecken. Die Dusche haben wir aus hygienischen Gründen lieber nicht genutzt. Beim Frühstück war dann der Orangensaft-Automat „out of Order“ und für die Massen an Menschen das „Buffett“ viel zu eng aufgebaut

When checking in there was no one at the front desk, sign said to dial 0. did but no one answered. Waited 5 minutes and redialed, this time someone answered. The bed nearest the window was very noisy, every time you sat in it or moved in it, there was a sound like a lid of a metal bin slamming shut.

Put me in a substandard room with a queen bed . I corrected front desk but they didn't corrected it until I was put in the wrong room. They lied when they corrected thier mistake. They said they had a cancelation and put me in the room I booked.

smallest bathroom i have ever seen. it's an older hotel that was been freshened up....somewhat. thr noise was awfull...doors banging all the time and we were right next to the elevator that made a banging sound all the time. the breakfast also was disappointing..if you didn't get there early it will be picked over. a bit disappointing for the price you pay. also the picture of the exterior on the website is a generic picture...not one of this hotel.

C’était propre comme chambre

Chambre mal insonorisée. C’est propre mais pas rénové. On attend tout dans la chambre venant du couloir et de la chambre adjacente même avec une conversation jugée normale. Autre chose surprenante: la base du lit est en métal et à chaque que l’on s’assoie ou on se relève on attend un « dong » assez puissant. Jamais vu une base métallique pour un lit.

It was noisy and in a sketchy part of Summerside. I didn’t feel safe. The beds were terrible and the metal stands they were on made noise every time I moved.😡

Breakfast was fine and what I expected. The beds were noisy, made with metal bases so everytime you moved they sounded like you were beating on a sheet of tin.

The elevator was too fast in closing the door. My husband has mobility challenges and he was caught in the closing door a couple of times.

L’odeur de la chambre, le calorifère tout déglingué, la propreté de l’entrée. Heureusement on nous a assigné une autre chambre. Mais malgré qu’il y ait 2 lits, seulement une chaise de bureau. Il serait agréable d’avoir une petite table avec 2 chaises et/ou un fauteuil.

It is in a good location and the beds are comfortable.

Don’t let the photos fool you. This place is falling apart. Broken fixtures in the room, subpar breakfast and a general lack of upkeep. It feels more like a budget motel but with hotel prices. Save your money and book elsewhere in PEI.

Front desk staff were helpful - though they were never at the desk - they just sort of appeared from some back room.

The requested room was not available - King room. instead a double queen room was substituted which was unfortunate as we really wanted the King bed. The room was FREEZING when we checked in - felt like it wasn't heated at all so it took quite awhile to warm up (like next morning). There were broken tiles in the washroom wall near the vaniety. Felt like we got moved into a more convenient location for staff reasons.

The stay was highly disappointing and did not meet basic expectations for comfort or maintenance. The room had poor lighting throughout, making it feel dull and unwelcoming. The ceiling appeared poorly maintained, giving an overall neglected and unclean impression. The washroom was one of the major concerns, as there was a persistent unpleasant smell that made it uncomfortable to use. The bathtub was not properly functional due to the absence of a water stopper, which made it inconvenient and frustrating. Additionally, the bathroom setup was poorly designed—switching on the light automatically activated a very loud exhaust fan, which was disruptive and annoying, especially during nighttime use. The property facilities also need significant improvement. The elevator was unreliable and did not close properly at times, which raised concerns about safety and usability. On top of that, the vending machine was not working correctly and did not accept coins, adding further inconvenience. Overall, the experience reflected a lack of proper maintenance, attention to detail, and basic guest comfort. Significant improvements are needed in cleanliness, equipment functionality, and overall upkeep to meet acceptable hospitality standards.

The room was ok…definitely recently renovated…the water took forever to get hot, the floor was extremely dirty and the rest of the hotel seemed run down…it was a bit pricey for what I got! Won’t be choosing this one again!

The frame for the matresse was really noisy. The heat pump was working 5mins , stop and never work again. No chairs on the balcony and wet so we can’t sit anywhere.

The breakfast was terrible.I had a bagel and cup of tea.The orange juice machine was out of order.There was no fresh fruit,the room was very hot ,wondering if the heat was on instead of air.It was a very cheap breakfast,pretty pathetic.The elevator was broken and I had to walk my blind mother down a huge flight of stairs to get to the breakfast station.We did not go for breakfast the next day,got up and left early and had a lovely breakfast at a cafe.

I did not like that our reservation was booked for 4,we had 2 facecloths and 2 towels,had to ask for more.The bathroom was dirty,black hair on the floor,the bathtub was dirty and soap scum on the tiles.There was no light where the tub was so if you did have a shower with the curtain closed it would have been very dark.None of us used the shower.It looked like some renovations had been started in the bathroom but not completed.We did not realize the beds were metal frames,every time someone got up in the night you would be woken up by a loud clang.Very disturbing.There was only 1 reception person who actually had a pleasant personality and would speak and smile.The rest of the staff felt like robots,almost if you asked something you were bothering them.Have been in many Days Inn across Canada and the USA and this one was the worse.Will not use Days Inn again.Our ocean view was nonexistent,there was a blind on the window with a picture of the ocean.If Days Inn in Canada is being taken over with IndoCanadians I suggest an inservice on customer service as I can see a lot of people will look elsewhere for lodging.I looked forward to my vacation for months and felt very disappointed with the service.

The furniture in the room was poor shape. Falling apart. Dirty stained chair cushion for desk. Bathroom tub didn't drain well at all. You had to shut off the shower to let the tub drain so it didn't overflow. Doors to rooms had no closing arm on them so they didn't slam. Same with doors too stairwell

Falls information on the web.you said on your website there is a swimming pool at the facility but there is nothing. That's actually the reason why we booked on your hotel to relax a little and bit.thats why it's so disappointing

See below. There was a terrible smell coming out of the drain in my bathroom. I made a note for the housekeeping staff and indicated that a combination of baking soda and vinegar might help or just cleaning out that drain.

Adequate. The eggs were rubbery. If you add cornstarch and water to a scrambled egg it’ll be much creamier.

After a long drive to get to PEI, we just needed to crash and eat. This property had the most comfortable beds and pillows! We slept very well, no street moise either. It also shares its parking lot with an Indian restaurant House of Spice that blew me away with their Chicken Karahi. My wife is pakistani and I’m white and even she said it was the best she’s ever had. Bonus food for the win. Next time we are in PEI we will most definitely stay there again.

The blind on the window was cute with its photo of local scenery.

The bed frame is metal and the skirt is made of such light weight material that every time you move on the bed it makes a "popping" sound, much like when you squeeze a pop can only much louder, waking you and very annoying! The internet was poor, almost to the point of unusable. The TV service is through an internet streaming service, difficult to use, and periodically buffering. My room was immediately outside a very bright street light, even with the cute blackout blind enough light came in around the edges to light up the room all night. Finally parking was tight, when I arrived I got the second last parking spot that was quite tight for a pickup truck.
