⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fabulous – A Beautiful Experience! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Leela Kovalam. From the moment we arrived, everything felt beautiful, peaceful and luxurious. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the Arabian Sea, beautiful surroundings and such a relaxing atmosphere. The resort was very well maintained, clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The hospitality really made a difference — we felt looked after and genuinely enjoyed our time there. The views were definitely one of the highlights for me. Waking up surrounded by the sea, greenery and the sound of the waves was just magical. The pool and resort grounds were gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to relax and switch off. The food was also lovely, with plenty of choice and a beautiful setting to enjoy it in. Overall, The Leela Kovalam gave us exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for in Kerala — beautiful scenery, excellent hospitality, comfort and a true luxury resort feeling. I would happily stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it. A fabulous and memorable stay! ❤️🌴🌊

I absolutely loved the location and the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The whole resort felt beautiful, peaceful, clean and luxurious. The grounds were very well maintained, the pool area was gorgeous, and the sound and view of the sea made it incredibly relaxing. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the overall hospitality was excellent. It was exactly the kind of beautiful Kerala resort experience I was looking for. 🌴🌊❤️

Our stay at The Leela Kovalam was a mixed experience. We booked two Club Suites to celebrate our Dad’s 75th birthday, but arrived to find name cards belonging to other guests in our rooms, which was very disappointing and made us feel the rooms had been reassigned at the last minute. When asked why the name cards didn’t have our name they didn't feel the need to explain. The service was also below expectations, our room cards werent working and we had to get it changed twice. Rahul, the butler assigned to both the club suites seemed eager to finish his shift and leave without ensuring our requests were taken care of. I mean why would you assign a butler if they are not going to be of any help? Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was our birthday dinner at Tides. We had asked for a buggy to take 6 of us and a guest from the event that evening climbed into our buggy and the staff didnt say anything. When we told that we were going for dinner and the buggy only has space for us 6, they didnt care. The dinner was a disaster as my son became seriously unwell with vomiting and a stomach bug that night, and we struggled to get assistance when we needed it. Thankfully, we had homeo medication with us which helped and he didn't get hospitalised. On the positive side, the Club rooms and food at the Club Café were excellent, and the spa was outstanding. The spa team were warm, attentive and took wonderful care of us. Also the birthday cake they arranged during dinner was perfect. Had it not been for our son falling ill, and the service being mediocre, the stay could have been a better experience. Sadly, that experience overshadowed what otherwise had many positives. When we pay so much for a resort such as yours we expected an exceptional service and experience. Unfortunately, we wont be back!

We had a fantastic seven-star experience at The Leela Kovalam, a Raviz Hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, and spectacularly located on a hilltop overlooking the Arabian Sea. The views and overall ambience made the stay truly special. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food and the wonderful team of chefs. We are vegetarians and prefer food without onion and garlic, and the chefs went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences. They personally asked us what we would like to have and were happy to prepare dishes for us even when they were not part of the buffet menu. Their warmth, patience and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel genuinely cared for. A very special mention to Executive Chef Shaik, along with Chef Shubhadev, Junior Chef Jamal, and Kennedy, who took such great care of us during our meals. Every one of them contributed to making our stay memorable. It was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we would definitely love to come back again. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

Don't go during Onam as there is a lot of crowd from outside who come for lunch and celebrations and it is difficult for the staff to also control them

Location and facilities are great, staffs are great. To name few who looked after us in the finest way, Sriram our butler, Ajith the manager and rest of them especially the cafe team been extremely helpful and accomadating us to their best of their abilities. Only thing they could improve is running morning buffet service, even though leela as employed hughe manpower they under utilised with lack of coordination between them, more training and support need for brilliant staffs who wants to provide best for their guests and this could enable better structure and maybe food wasteage can be minimal. But overall it was excellent experience.

I stayed at this beautiful property for nine days while receiving treatment at the Ayurveda clinic, and my experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The location itself is breathtaking. Being right on the coast, I could open my window or balcony door and hear the beautiful sound of the ocean. The property offers every luxury you could imagine, and the entire facility is exceptionally well maintained, clean, peaceful, and comfortable. The Ayurveda clinic was an incredible part of my stay. The doctors, therapists, spa staff, and entire team were caring, kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. The doctors checked on me three times a day to make sure I was doing well and taking my medications as prescribed. I especially want to mention my yoga instructor. She helped me tremendously on my journey of learning yoga. She was incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging, and I am very grateful for everything she taught me. The food and kitchen experience also deserve special recognition. Ayurvedic Chef Isaac was amazing. Every day, he personally discussed my breakfast, lunch, and dinner with me and adjusted my meals according to my preferences while still following my Ayurvedic program. His personal attention made the experience even more special. This was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. I am extremely grateful to everyone who took care of me and made my stay so special. I am already looking forward to coming back soon!

We’ve been fortunate to stay at some wonderful properties, but The Leela Kovalam truly stood out for us. Set beautifully on a cliff, the property offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. We stayed in a Club Room, and the direct sea view from the first floor was simply spectacular. The Sea View Villas are equally beautiful, with a large lawn in front, while the Club Rooms offer a more direct, unobstructed sea view. Buggy service is available throughout the huge property, making it easy to get around. What really made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality. A special mention to Mr. Jamshad, Duty Manager, who was extremely helpful and constantly ensured we were comfortable. Sachin Butler, deserves a special mention for helping my elderly mother with the stairs on several occasions. The team even arranged access to the service lift for her when climbing stairs became difficult—such thoughtfulness truly touched us. Our housekeeping team, Sunil and Sonia, were also wonderful and took great care of us throughout our stay. For families travelling with elderly parents, one small point to note: the Sea View Villas have 2–3 steps inside the room leading to the washroom, so a Club Room may be a better choice for anyone who finds stairs difficult. The infinity pool was excellent, with stunning sea views. The beach was beautifully clean and well maintained, with washrooms, drinking water and staff assistance available, which made the beach experience even more comfortable. The restaurant staff were good, though they seemed slightly overworked with multiple groups at the property. The food was very nice and we enjoyed our meals. Overall, The Leela Kovalam is definitely a property we would recommend experiencing at least once. Beautiful location, breathtaking views and, most importantly, genuinely warm hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return. ❤️ The added convenience—the Thiruvananthapuram Airport is just about 30 minutes away. We stayed at The Leela Kovalam in early August 2026, spending two nights in a Club Room and one night in a Club Suite. From the moment we arrived, the experience was truly outstanding. If you are planning to stay here, I would strongly recommend booking the Club section. It genuinely feels like a hotel within a hotel, offering a wonderful combination of exclusivity, personalized service and some of the best views on the property. A special mention must go to our personal butler, Sanjana, who was exceptional. Her attention to detail was remarkable. She constantly anticipated our needs and offered solutions even before we had to ask. We were travelling with our infant daughter, and Sanjana was wonderful with her, including helping us with our little one during meals so that we could actually relax and enjoy our time together. Her warmth, professionalism and genuine care made a huge difference to our stay. The food and restaurant service were equally impressive. The quality and taste of the food were excellent. Kudos to Chef Rajesh and the wonderful café team — Aman, Pinky, Harshit, Nikhil, Rowen, Arijit and Prince — for their excellent service and hospitality. Our rooms were spotless and maintained in excellent condition. Many thanks to the housekeeping team, especially Vij, Sunil and Sarthak, for keeping everything so well maintained. The property is absolutely enormous — you need golf carts to get around! 😄 A special mention to Anup, who was helpful and even went out of his way to take some wonderful photographs of us at the sunset viewpoint. The sheer size of the property means there is plenty to explore over multiple days. But honestly, the Club section views are so spectacular that you may not even feel like leaving your room. The balcony of the Club Rooms is an experience in itself — endless ocean views, the breeze and the sound of waves create an incredibly peaceful setting. It is easily one of the biggest highlights of the stay. Another special mention to Aji, the Club Section Manager, who does an excellent job of ensuring everything runs smoothly while respecting the privacy of guests. At checkout, he surprised us with a beautiful parting gift — a reproduction of a Raja Ravi Varma painting — which was a thoughtful and memorable touch. Overall, The Leela Kovalam delivered exactly what you hope for from a luxury resort: beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, excellent food, personalized service and genuine attention to detail. We have stayed at several luxury properties, but this experience genuinely stood out. A huge thank you to the entire Leela Kovalam team for making our family vacation so special. Very spacious and clean room with a welcoming smell. Amenities were high quality as well. Grounds and location are also excellent.

Swimming pool was nice but quite cold. We just stayed in another hotel in Varkala where the pool was definitely temperature controlled and warm. So it was a bit disappointing that this Leela one did not seem to be. Food and spa services are quite expensive. While I would expect it to be more than outside, the money spent for the value is too high.

Had a wonderful stay at Leela Raviz. The hospitality was excellent, but the most enjoyable part was the beautiful ambience and the breathtaking sea view from the cliff top. A truly peaceful and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable honeymoon stay at The Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel. The location is absolutely stunning—hearing the sound of the sea from the hotel was incredibly peaceful, and the scenic views created such a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the Royal Club Suite, which was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Our room overlooked the sea, and the view was excellent. It was cleaned every day, and all the amenities, including the towels and shower facilities, were perfect. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our honeymoon memorable. A special thank-you to Sunil, our room caretaker, as well as Sonia and Chinnu. They always greeted us with smiling faces and made us feel very welcome. During breakfast, the chef even came out personally to ask whether we were enjoying the food and invited us to try one of his special dishes that was not on the menu. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. The food throughout our stay was amazing. I highly recommend the beachside dinner at The Terrace, especially their momos—they were outstanding. From the beautiful atmosphere and excellent rooms to the delicious food and exceptional service, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return to The Leela in the future.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble—they were always smiling, kind, and happy to help with anything we needed. The restaurant staff and bar staff were exceptional, providing outstanding service and making every meal a wonderful experience. The housekeeping team were incredible, keeping our room spotless every day and making sure we had fresh towels, toiletries, toothbrushes, combs, and everything else we could possibly need. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, but it’s the amazing people who truly make this place unforgettable. Their genuine care, attention to detail, and outstanding hospitality made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We had a birthday party arranged at the Terrace restaurant. The food buffet was awesome with nice spread and delicious Menu. They had live music for ambience added with the breath taking view of ocean. The staffs were courteous. One thing missed wat the property tour they couldn't arrange due to rush. Big shout out to Preetha who helped arranging meeting and Azad who shared the spread beforehand. Also to the staff at restaurant who provided great assistance.

We spent 3 days at Leela with our family. My father's 70th b'day. Leela made the occasion feel special with the warmest hospitality. Gayathri who was our butler was kind, smiling and available. My wife spent a wonderful week at The Leela Kovalam. We are regulars with the Leela Group and were not disappointed with our stay. The hotel was located with a fantastic view of the Arabian Sea and was luxurious. The staff were attentive and the service was friendly and professional from Rahul our butler to Saurab and Aman at The Cafe and our driver Robin. The food was delicious. The tours and spa kept us occupied. It felt like home.

We had our 30th year MBBS batch get-together at The Leela Raviz Kovalam for 2days in July, last weekend !!! 140 of us, friends +family, gathered - and it's one of the most cherished memories now.. 😍 Classy, unmatched ambience !!! One of the best beach side resorts of India. The grand convention centre and side by side food arrangements made our cultural programmes and dinner + lunch seamless... 100% usage of quality time. Excellent services. Staff were very professional and courteous, assisting us, organising team, with all the necessary finer details.. Our contact person with the resort - Ms Preetha Sasi, has been always attentive to us, and helpful with the planning and execution. Food - top notch ! The chef accommodated all our demands, and the cuisine and spread was top notch.

We went there for a weekend gateway as a couple. The first surprise for us was when they gave us a special upgrade to the club ocean view room. We got a personal assistant for us - Sagar. He made our stay so comfortable and helped us explore the whole property. He even spoke to us in Punjabi which made us feel at home. The club had its own cafe with amazing chefs who would customize dishes at your request. The infinity pool was truly merging with the sea. We could see and even hear the sea constantly from our balcony in the room. The breakfast was an amazing spread. Every spot in the property has its own beauty and the pictures are out of this world. Each and every staff always had a smile on their face. The final surprise was a beautiful painting they gifted us. We would definitely want to come back for a longer stay.

I stayed at different beach resorts or hotels but this one The Leela Kovalam is different league. We had our company event here and all of us stayed at the Club rooms for 3 nights and had the event in convention centre. The club rooms were very nice with all amenities and a balcony offering breathtaking view of the sea and offering an uninstructed view of Sunset. Would like thank few of the Leela staff, who really took care of us and our requests. Butlers Sanjana and Sriram, Uday from Laundry, Chefs Thambi, Abijai, Saibjan. Special thanks to the General Manager of the property for making a courtesy visit to meet us. We all had a wonderful time here

We had a wonderful stay at Leela Kovalam. The hotel, its location, the staff and the overall upkeep of the property was a welcome sight and experience for our family! My kids were celebrating their birthday and the staff made it extra special by helping us arrange a surprise! Huge shout out to Sajin the tennis activity coach who showed up twice (once early in the morning) to play tennis with me and then coach my children. He was kind and very encouraging. It was just an intriguing experience playing tennis next to the famous royal Kovalam palace (which is inside the Leela) and swimming at the beautifully maintained pool. The dinner at beach and breakfast buffet were a great value addition for us! Will never forget this vacation thanks to the people at Leela

During check out I informed reception about cashew from mini bar to charge to bill. However, the reception called after check out when I was on my way to airport for a missing beer in mini bar. Even after clarifying that I haven’t taken beer, the person didn’t believe and kept repeating. I asked him to charge my card and closed the call. This was an unpleasant experience.

It was an amazing location with very friendly staff. The staff made the stay memorable because they were super helpful navigating the property and made sure we get the best out of our stay. The stay was made especially memorable by Mr. Govind, Mr. Akash Sahoo, Mr. Priyan, also all the buggy drivers. Excellent food at the restaurant The Terrace, including buffet breakfast and dinner. Swift service by all the staff members. Sky bar was also a great location to spend an evening at.

Perched on a stunning rock cliff overlooking the Arabian Sea, this 70-acre luxury resort offers breathtaking views of kerala serene beauty and huge infinity pools, excellent restaurants, and vast number of amenities. What truly sets the resort apart is its exceptional hospitality. Every staff member greets guests with a smile and makes them feel genuinely welcomed. Despite running at full occupancy during the monsoon season, the restaurant team managed everything seamlessly and ensured a wonderful dining experience.
