- Welcoming & Clean: The entire hotel and our room were absolutely spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly. - Comfortable Accommodations: The room was spacious and featured a very comfortable bed, built in wardrobes, complemented by high-quality toiletries. - Prime Location: Centrally and conveniently located in the heart of Baden-Baden. - Parking: parts of the garage had large enough spots to accommodate bigger or wider cars, and maneuvering a low-clearance vehicle was hassle-free.

- The minibar in our room could have been colder. - It's worth noting that the parking facility is essentially a public garage. While this wasn't a major issue, the spots nearest the hotel elevator were already taken or quite narrow, meaning we had to park further away.

The location was fantastic. Our room had a view of the castle on the hill. The indoor pool, spa and saunas were lovely. A great place to explore Baden Baden. Such a beautiful town really worth visiting. If you like sweets and chocolate there are some amazing patisseries and chocolate shops just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Valet parking was very helpful.

De locatie en het personeel.

De grootte van het zwembad, en de bizarre prijs voor het ontbijt. De grootte van het zwembad en het buitenverblijf (slechts plek voor een paar mensen, terwijl het een zeer groot hotel is). Daarnaast is de prijs van het ontbijt ronduit belachelijk. Bij het uitchecken moesten we voor twee ochtenden even € 156 afrekenen. Met alle respect, maar dit is echt buitenproportioneel. Toen we dit aangaven kregen we terug dat het de normale prijs is. Nou, wij vinden het vrij bizar. De parking ernaast kost overigens € 30 per dag. Goed om rekening mee te houden. Overigens wordt er ook € 50 per nacht aan borg gevraagd. Al met al een teleurstellend verblijf.

It was a lovely hotel and the spa facilities were excellent. It was conveniently located and the room was well appointed and the bed comfortable.

Wir haben ein Upgrade erhalten und hatten das Penthouse. Ein absoluter Traum. Können wir nur empfehlen. Dort oben zu frühstücken ist ein echt unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Eine Gehminute vom Casino Baden Baden entfernt und das Personal, sowie Ausstattung fantastisch. Wir kommen wieder, auch ohne Penthouse. :)

I particularly appreciated the excellent location, the quality and variety of the breakfast, the generous size of the room, and how quiet and peaceful the room was.

Hotel & facilities: Some areas lacked the level of service and attention to detail expected from a five-star property. The gym equipment was not fully functional, and there was no comfortable outdoor area for guests to relax. Room: The pillows were not particularly comfortable and the pillowcases did not fit properly. The bathroom shower allowed water to spill onto the floor, and there were no convenient power outlets in the bathroom. The room would also benefit from warmer, more ambient lighting to create a more refined and welcoming atmosphere. There was no in-room dining menu available. Breakfast: Although the breakfast itself was good, the service could have been more attentive and efficient. Spa & pool: The pool was not heated, which was disappointing. The spa appeared understaffed, resulting in some amenities not being replenished and some areas not being maintained to the expected standard. The yoga room is beautiful, but there was no clear information regarding classes or schedules. In-room dining: I found the additional charge for in-room dining disappointing, particularly without a menu readily available in the room. Overall, these are relatively small details individually, but together they affected the overall impression and made the experience feel closer to a four-star (superior ?) hotel than a true five-star property.

Die Lage

Der Frühstücksbereich war für den Zeitraum wo wir da waren zu klein. Die Atmosphäre nicht dem Hotel entsprechend. Es gab nur einen Kaffeeautomaten der auch vom Personal mitbenutzt wurde obwohl es angeblich noch einen in der Küche gab.( lange Wartezeiten mit Stau) Das Reinigen und Nachfüllen konnte nur von wenigen Mitarbeitern durchgeführt werden. Es fehlten des öfteren Gläser für Latte, selbst auf meinem Hinweis wurden keine mehr gebracht.Es kam der Kommentar ,das die Gläser in der Spühlmaschine sind. Die Brötchen waren wir Gummi. Das Fitnessstudio kommt auf den Bildern größer rüber als ist.Der Multitrainer kaputt. Das man auch die normale Parkgebühr bezahlen finde ich auch nicht gut. Das geht in anderen Hotels anders ( z.B. anstatt 30€/ Tag nur 20€

The fact that we paid so much money We have to pay for parking which was 80euros for 2 nights. I think its a bit too much. Some places guest do not have to pay.

Любимый отель в Баден -Бадене, очень комфортно, чисто, есть все что нужно для 5 звезд. Очень внимательный персонал. Завтраки отличные, разнообразные, качество на высшем уровне. Кровати и подушки удобные. Хотелось бы отметить отдельно работу горничных, очень качественно убирают номера . Отель очень красивый, много фотозон)

***** Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt ***** Begonnen beim überaus freundlichen Checkin. Freundlich und zuvorkommendes Personal in allen Bereichen. Gepflegtes sauberes Haus und schöne ruhige Zimmer. ( 416 & 418 ) Das absolute Highlight: Der Geburtstagsgruss des Hauses: Kleines Törtchen und eine Flasche Prosecco. Tolle Geste !!! Auch der Spa Bereich sowie das Schwimmbad. Sauber, gepflegt und schön angelegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet liess auch keine Wünsche offen. Auch dort wie überall aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir waren zum ersten mal hier aber garantiert nicht das letze mal. 5*+ voll und ganz verdient. Bis bald....

The hotel is 4 star at the best not 5 star. Which 5star hotel could not provide a firm pillow for two? The breakfast was very minimal and we waited half an hour for a egg Benedict, weak service

Un hôtel très confortable et un personnel très agréable. Idéalement situé au centre ville dans un environnement calme et verdoyant.

Nous voyageons avec 2 motos et interdiction de se garer dans le parking souterrain situé sous l’hôtel et pas de parking moto à proximité.

It was a great experience overall. The room was quite nice, the restaurant was excellent and the spa is fully equiped and in good condition. It's in the center of the city so an excellent location to explore the beautiful city of baden-baden

The bathroom was in need of some maintenance, e.g. the shower head holder was broken and the shower head selector didn't work so both the top and movable shower heads would turn on simultaneously. The parking lot is not managed by the hotel and there's a hefty 30€ per day fee. Room lighting is done via table lamps and a floor lamp which makes it a bit awkward to get to them to switch them on when the room is dark.

The location

The hotel is not as good as it used to be and is now has somewhat dated decor. Most staff were excellent, but one in particular was quite rude. As there was inadequate room in the breakfast room, the hotel used the adjacent bar as an overflow. It was totally unsuitable, as the tables were far too small and the arm chairs far too low.

- la chambre finalement etait jolie - le complexe spa / piscine - l’hôtel est bien placé.

- le service est catastrophique. Pas bonjour, pas au revoir, pas de service spontané. Des “moment” dès qu’on ose demander quoique ce soit. Les employés se disputent devant vous à l’accueil, au restaurant, du coup vous patientez… - la chambre fournie n’était pas du tout la bonne. Il a fallu 45 minutes d’allers retours pour finalement avoir une chambre à peu près conforme à la description… Nous avons dû faire une croix sur le grand lit. - la télé ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons fini par nous rendre compte que le câble satellite etait débranché. - pas de wifi dans la chambre, nous avons fini par nous rendre compte le jour du départ que la box clignotait en rouge. - personne ne vous sert au petit déjeuner pendant que d’autres clients semblent être choyés. Est-ce que c’est parce que nous sommes Français ? - l’ascenseur est sale… Nous voyageons beaucoup, partout et pas seulement dans des hôtels 5*. Nous notons tous les hotels de façon honnête et respectueuse et nous considérons les choses depuis l’angle positif. Croyez moi, cet hôtel n’est pas recommandable. La seule personne qui a été à la hauteur est le responsable du spa, il a été charmant et il a fait son travail tel qu’il doit être fait dans un hôtel 5* Sup !

I enjoyed my stay at Maison Messmer, especially because of the cleanliness, location, and the staff’s genuine desire to make their guests happy and comfortable. Thank you to Mr. Jonas, who was always there to help us and answer our questions with kindness, patience. I would also like to express appreciation to Mrs. Gabrielle Gass 🌹, in the restaurant at breakfast time, who greeted us every morning with her beautiful smile. She moved gracefully from table to table like a butterfly, always incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. She truly has a wonderful sense of hospitality and is an exceptional member of staff.

I went to breakfast twice during my stay, unfortunately, on Monday 10 August most of the staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly toward us. They would go to other guests’ tables and ask what they would like to drink, but unfortunately, no one came to our table to ask us. , when we came to the outdoor breakfast area, one of the staff members, with Asian features, asked us to sit inside even though several tables were available outside. However, I made it clear that I preferred to sit outdoors. The only exception was Gabrielle Gass, who was consistently kind, welcoming, and fair in the way she treated us and all the other guests, without any discrimination.

La situation est exceptionnelle. L’hôtel est d’un standing exceptionnel. Chaque détail est soigné. Les chiens sont acceptés et traités avec bienveillance. Le spa est également très bien conçu.

Great location; walkable to the center of the city. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking right at the hotel is very convenient as well. Rooms are comfortable, a bit dated, but well maintained. Good quality breakfast with plenty of options.

Neben der Tatsache, dass ich (wie leider in vielen Hotels üblich) bis heute keine ordentliche Rechnung erhalten habe (ich habe bereits bei der Buchung die Firma angegeben, habe auf dem Check-In Formular im Hotel die Rechnungsadresse hinterlegt und bekomme bei Abreise eine Rechnung auf meinen Namen), wurde meine Kreditkarte mehrfach doppelt belastet, obwohl ich die Rezeption darauf hingewiesen hatte, dass ich über booking.com das meiste bereits belastet bekommen habe. Somit habe ich eine Rechnung über 820 Euro und fast 1500 Euro Belastung meiner Karte (nicht vorgemerkt - belastet!).

Situated very close to the casino and the spa park, our comfortable room on one of the upper floors offered a picturesque view of the surrounding area. The staff (attentive, highly professional from the start, and genuinely personable) helped make our stay very pleasant, whether at reception, during breakfast, or whenever we had questions. We appreciated the tasteful décor and the spacious, classically styled breakfast rooms, which conveyed an authentic sense of the location’s blend of the new and the historic. We felt truly well looked after, thanks to the exceptionally high-quality, extensive selection and outstanding service. The hotel's spa area also features a pool and bar that are well worth experiencing—not just for use, but simply to see; the décor and scale exceeded our expectations.

Ein sehr schönes, stilvolles, elegantes und luxuriöses Hotel an bester Lage. Das Essen war sehr köstlich, die Zimmer sehr schön und der Spa sehr angenehm.

Eigentlich hat mir alles gefallen, nur das Personal am Empfang dürfte besser geschult sein. Wir bekamen nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten beim einchecken ein Zimmer, das bereits vergeben war. Die Begegnung an der Zimmertür war ziemlich peinlich. Aber ansonsten war das Personal sehr nett.
