Clean and quiet
.
I was not told when I checked in that there was no water at the time. That was a huge inconvenience. I was surprised they no longer provided complimentary breakfast. I did read later that the health dept. may have shut that down. My kitchen faucet was broken. The cabinet under the kitchen sink was falling off and the fridge made a noise every time it was running. I was very dissatisfied with how run down the place was as I have stayed here in the past more than once. I will say my bed sheets and towels seemed clean.
location and room size, Not t many good tings that i can think of. Front desk employees were fine to interact.
during the time of reserving wasn't mentioned about the parking fee and was extra charged when we arrived, and breakfast wasn't included.
I come here every time I work in California. It’s my go to for a place to stay
Location was convenient
Was not expecting to pay for parking at the hotel . Kitchen appliances didn't work garbage disposal didn't work room smelled like mold every time you walked into it
The room is very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a dishwasher which we really depend on a lot. The laundry is available for free and there always was a machine available for use throughout our stay, so convenient! The desk is wide enough for two people and the chairs are proper office chairs. They even provide frequent enough housekeeping. It is a great place to stay for work and a longer stay. It felt pretty much like being at home!
The wall is not as thick as I thought, so you might sometimes hear noises from your neighbors. I was not bothered at all, but I guess some people might find it disturbing.
Location
I got two rooms, both rooms had terrible smell, I think that I never experienced in my life. im genius3 @ booking.com That’s mean I traveled everywhere. Again, but I have never experienced something like this even in two stars Hotel.
Front desk staff allowed me to check in immediately upon my very early am arrival. Housekeeping was efficient. Easy to park. Great location.
No breakfast due to kitchen renovation. No kitchen equipment until I asked for these.
No breakfast. Booking was for 2 nights but when I checked in I was given room keys for only one night. Had to contact mgmt. to get into the room.
- Nice and clean - Very good location - The room is pretty cosy - Have a very big parking lot
Hard to connect to the front desk, call them so many times, no one picks up the phone!
I stayed here early June for one of my best friend's wedding. It was the best option I had if I wanted to be close to her house to help with wedding set up and it was only a short drive to the venue. I don't stay at hotels often so I was a bit naive to the rate at the time of booking and in retrospect I wish I had read more reviews of the hotel chain in general because it seems like a lot of people have had similar experiences to mine. I agree with other reviewers that I'm sure it's not the fault of the hotel staff that they are short staffed and aren't providing the best quality customer service because of that but I did find it serverely lacking anytime I had interacted with anyone and I'm not a high maintenance person. In fact I would love to have come and stayed and only interacted minimally with the staff and I probably wouldn't even feel the need to write this review. Upon check in, I had to wait at the front desk for a beat before check in, which is no issue for me but it did set the tone a bit for this kind of disorganized unattentive quality to the hotel. It honestly did feel like a bit of a catfish because the room rates weren't exactly cheap and it looked like a nice place to stay online but that was my mistake for not doing further reasearch. When I got to the room I had to try a few different methods to get the key card to work and even questioned if I should check with the front desk, when I entered the room I turned on the first switch in the door and it flickered to turn on. As a woman staying alone I also noticed that the door didn't close on it's own so I had to be sure that it was fully pressed in for it to shut coming into the room and when leaving. There were little things around the room too, like laminant coming off of the kitchenette counter that I had passing thoughts about like "I wonder if I should take pictures of this as proof that it was already like this when I arrived" but I'm a trusting person so I figured there wouldn't be any issue. I didn't take pictures and I was also much more consumed with celebrating my friend's wedding and making sure that went well than this hotel being a little bit skanky. I was set to check out the day after the wedding and I had been saying to everyone how I had payed for this late check out since it was an enhancement offered on the website when you book the reservation, maybe it was my mistake for not checking again at check in that I had the enhamcememt applied to my reservation but like I said, I'm trusting and put too much faith in this hotel that theh were actually this organized. The front desk called me to ask about my checkout time and I told them I had paid for the late check out and they asked me what time that was at as if they didn't know what I was talking about. I left my key card at the front desk when I left as it says to do on the sleeve thinking that this was the proper check out method. A few days after returning home I noticed two pending charges from the hotel for almist the same amount of money, one around $623 (the amount that I was quoted originally) and one for around $671. I thought that maybe the charges would change and that maybe one of them was with the deposit or something but given my prior experience with this establishment I knew that I should watch them. Sure enough they both posted and I called the hotel manager the moment I noticed that they had posted. Btw, anytime I had called this hotel it takes a very long time for anyone to get the phone, you have to sit and wait for it to ring and ring and ring until someone actually picks up. I explained the charges to the hotel manager and he tells me that they both hadn't checked me out of the hotel and that the $671 charge was supposed to be a $67 charge for the late checkout which was the $45 charge plus tax. I did the math on my original bill later and the regular tax was only about 11% so I don't know how the tax on this late check out went up so much but I thought "whatever, at least I won't be paying double for my stay" The hotel manager said that he would send an adjusted invoice to my email and I said "Thank you for your help" and trusted that he would. I did get an email after our pbone call and I opened it thinking it would be the invoice he mentioned. It wasn't. It was a survey about how my stay went. I thought it was just one of those automated ones and the email I was waiting for would come later. I'm a patient person so I waited for it to come and it never did. I waited three business days because that seemed apropriate. It hasn't come and now I'm trying to dispute it with my credit card company instead. Wish me luck, we'll see how it goes! Overall I would not reccomend anyone to stay here and I certainly wouldn't again. If I ever need to stay somewhere that this seems like the only option I'll look for an Airbnb first.
Ubicacion
La actitud de servicio del personal NO fue calida durante el check in. La Gerencia del hotel tiene que trabajar mas de cerca en la actitud y experiencia positiva para el huésped
Great location
-
The room was spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the size and placement of the table, and there were good lighting options and plenty of plugs. It was also very quiet. The location was convenient and the entrance was great for pickups and dropoffs. The refrigerator was big. Parking was available.
The housekeeping staff missed a day of cleaning and we had to request it at the front desk. Upon arrival and for 4 days the kitchen had no dishrag, hand towel, scouring pad, or frying pan. There were only two of each eating utensil and plates, no coffee mugs, no extras, no serving dishes. I suspect the items were probably available but housekeeping was remiss in checking kitchen supplies. The toaster only worked occasionally and one of the two electric burners didn’t work well.
Good location for events in Campbell and Los Gatos
No dining or market options. No amenities
Location The kitchenette was set up nice, clean.
Lack of amenities ie, no Continental breakfast. They did miss vacuuming a toenail up next to the side table.
Executive suite was spacious. King bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good. Kitchen was basic but clean.
A/C is living room had no bedroom outlet. We travel with a small fan that helped as did opening a window since night was cool. Otherwise too stuffy. Furnishings are date and cloth items are dusty, esp curtains. Light fixtures are old with inconvenient switches. Kitchen could use a toaster.
The picture look nice but this hotel is very dated and in a sketchy neighborhood. The staff was nice but was unable to help. The pillows smell like BO. Was advertised as free breakfast but there was no breakfast-probably shut down by health department. I had to leave this hotel after 1 night (I had booked it for 4). I paid through Expedia in advance (over $1400) and I was unable to get a refund for the last 3 days after contacting Expedia and the hotel several times. I recommend -do not stay here and never pay for rooms in advance w Expedia.
The location
The dog barking all night and the throw up stains in the hall and least of all no discount on the room even though water was off from 8 -3
TV was intermittant due to loose coax cable. Kitchen had no silverware and no other utensils. Phone did not work. Shower/tub drained very very slow and had about 2 inches of water waiting to drain.
Size of the room was great, location was close to everything we needed, room was clean.
There was no body wash in the room. When I called down to the front desk the worker didn't know where the refills were, but said he would look. When we checked out after 9 the next morning we still had no soap. I mentioned this at checkout and was told that a note had been left for the cleaning people. The front desk should have bars of soap for cases like this. It makes it very difficult to wash without soap so no one in our party of 4 felt clean. We were in a grand suite and the living and dining areas were dark even with all the lights on. More lights needed!
bed was very comfortable
price
Booking.com showed this site had breakfast. It did not. No daily cleaning but could request daily towel changes. Had to put trash in hall for it to be emptied. Kitchen supplies not sufficient for 2 people. We used this hotel last year and the property and service were not as good as it was last year. Last year there was breakfast, daily cleaning and free laundry pods.

Die furchtbaren Bettdecken
We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. While we where there we had bug bites but thought they were fleas. I didnt think much of it but in our new apartment the biting continued. It lasted for 4 months with intensely itchy bites that made us miserable. It was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had and I'm totally scarred from it. The hotel was also dirty and gross as well. We had actually booked 17 days but left after 10 and would have left sooner if we'd had other options. I spoke to the manager after many times about the bites to try to figure out what they were and what to do about it. He promised to compensate me and help with pest control, but he never did. It was a nightmare and I'm really glad it's finally over, but it was hell. If anyone has any answers for me or had a similar experience, please email me at metalsaddict@gmail.com.
Not worth the 1 night stay of $325.18 as the Inn is "tired and worn out", inside the extended stay. Not conducive to a clean place. Staff Not really showing a welcome attitude. Assign posted advising the Health Dept has a "closed food facility" thereby not providing a breakfast or coffee. I have owned and operated 2 businesses and would not operate this Inn as was visually presented. The property website makes the Inn look inviting...enormous disappointment. Would never stay or recommend this particular outdated Inn.

My over all stay was very nice. Elexcellent customer service.
Nothings everything was perfect. I had a Happy Face
I have stayed here before. This visit was disappointing. The only positive I can thinkof to mention is that the room, and the bedding and towels, appeared clean.
There was a dark red sign on the entry door announcing that food service at the hotel was closed by the health department. I couldn't tell whether the sign was official or a joke, but if it was a joke, it wasn't funny. No continental breakfast. The mattress on the bed was lumpy and uneven. there was a trough down the center. The hide-a-bed sofa was too uncomfortable to sit on. The wood edge of the desk was badly scarred. There was no regular coffee in the room, only decaf. There was no bar soap or lotion in the bathroom.
The location was close to the place I was visiting. Parking was available.
The fire alarm went off at 4:30 AM. I asked for a compensation, because it disturbed my sleep. The person at the front desk told me to call the manager, who would not be in until 2 PM. When I called, I was told they were not giving any compensation and my concerns were rudely dismissed. In additional, the fan in the bathroom was not working and one of the lights in the kitchenette was burned out. They also had discontinued the Continental Breakfast. A fact of which I was unaware. The unhelpful staff and general disrepair of the facilities are what prompted my unfavorable review.
I've stayed at Larkspur Landing many times before. Never disappointed. This location is more like a motel. Booking included breakfast, when I called downstairs to find out what time breakfast was available I was informed they were remodeling and didn't have a kitchen to serve breakfast. I was changed to a different room because the 1st one had wet carpet. When i checked out the young lady said I'd receive my confirmation receipt via email. 2 days later i called hotel because I hadn't received it. I spoke to the manager who happened to have answered the phone. Ge asked about my stay. I shared my concerns and he of course apologized. He also offered to refund me for 1 night's stay. I asked him if he needed my card info, he replied no and started he'd send a revised billing showing my credit. I waited for over a week, called back got his voicemail and explained I was still charged the original amount. As of this review I haven't heard fron him or received the credit he offered. They should be ashamed to use the company name with the nastiness and lack of service they have. Ill continue to utilize the other locations but never again will i stay here or recommend anyone else to go.
The check in person was very friendly and my daughter stayed the weekend before I did and she was able to bring her pets
There was no cover space for smoking also there could of been more tv channels
Clean and comfortable rooms. Service was friendly and accommodating.
The bed was comfortable.
The 1st problem was I booked, including breakfast. Upon arrival, there was a sign saying no food. We called the front desk and was told they were remodeling and didn't have a kitchen. The 1st room we were assigned was nasty. I stepped on the carpet, and it was sticky and wet. 2nd room was better, but the tub had a few chips inside and dirt around caulking. Walls in room paper thin. We could hear the TV next door and the people above us walking around. I've stayed at other Larkspur Landing locations and have always had a cleaner experience. This location was more like a motel experience.
Place needs a make over. Paint chipping all over. Carpets need to be replaced, king bed in our room left a spring mark on my hip. Red noticed from health department that kitchen was closed and no food to be served. Parking was great. Place close to shopping and HWY
The hotel met our needs. Shopping and dining eitgin
The owner and staff were very accommodating. Ride was quite nice and I would definitely recommend it for business individuals that commute. Full kitchen too.
Easy, friendly, check in and check out. Good location. Quiet, clean room.
Main area carpeting is beyond filthy. Only one of two elevators were working. No hot water in kitchenette. Some room lights did not function. No safe in rooms. Internet did not work. Staff was very friendly.
Outside of hotel lends you to believe that it is fully upgraded. This is not the case. Furniture in rooms is clearly late 90’s lol. Kitchen counters looked to be upgraded fairly recently but refrigerator was painted black and paint was chipping off and door was dented. Had a hard time getting into the room as the door had been kicked in before and the lock on door jam was still damaged and a very large fence hinge had been added to the door. There was no continental breakfast as stated on website and they ran out of regular coffee…only had decaf
I didn't like anything... Bed bug infested and no refund policy... Rooms smelled carpet tore up staff in friendly and rude... They gave me room away after I paid for a week stay... Never will return ever...
There’s nobody there every time you check out
The front desk clerk seemed inconvenienced to check us in. She practically threw the key across counter to us. There Is a sign on the door that said food discontinued by the health department; which was not mentioned to us when when we checked in. When we checked out, the new front desk person said it was because the breakfast room was being renovated. We were not told that when we checked in. The hotel seems very worn. Carpets are dingy and dirty and it's very dark inside. All the lights are very dim. The room was very big and it was clean. But again very dark.
If you are staying here because of breakfast, pick elsewhere as they don’t offer it even though the website says they do. The stay was nice, staff were friendly and the room was adequate. An overall good value and a great location.
The room smelled really ….. bad and there were ants in the bathroom. Spider web across the kitchen. There was a chair in the room that was really ….. scary. Service was great but hotel was just not maintained. Also it said free breakfast but there was no breakfast or coffee when I checked the first morning.
The courtins were falling down. The windows were so dirty you couldn't see outside, there were no light drapes so I could open the heavy ones and not be seen. The coffe maker didn't have a pitcher to make coffe. Everything else was ok.
I picked a hotel that had free breakfast because we have 4 kids and really appreciate the convenience. Checked in at 6pm to find out they won’t be serving anything for breakfast- not even coffee! 3rd story windows opened all the way and had no screen(probably a violation of CA code and unsafe for the kids). Many areas in poor repair.
Room has no connections to charge phones. Fruit flies in the room - probably killed a dozen of them. Windows (overlooking noisy street) very dirty. “Continental breakfast” - not being offered - dining area “under construction.” Booked a “room with breakfast” but front desk said bc booked thru Expedia they wouldn’t knock $ off the price for not having breakfast as promised. VERY noisy full-size refrigerator in the room - without earplugs would have been impossible to sleep.
The room was clean and the kitchen was nice to have. However, lots of trash in the cans in the hallways that wasnt cleaned up. Only 1 working elevator. However my biggest issue is that I left behind my airpods and did all the foot work they requested, including buying a shipping label and paying for a pickup to have them returned, however "the airpods are missing now." I was supposed to hear from the manger about a resolution, which hasnt happened, its been weeks now.
The property is very outdated. Everything from the entryway to the guest rooms need a major refreshing or remodeling.
No coffee or breakfast even though it’s in the description. Not informed of the change at check in. No compensation offered for reduced service. Very tired room. Kitchenette had no paper towels or dish towels. Door was difficult to open and close. Only one elevator working. Very nice staff.
The room was beat up -- It should have been a King bed but was NOT. The barking dogs and everyone putting their trash in the hall each morning. Just seemed cheap and unsafe. All the staff was great! Kind, helpful, and present. Just a bad environment the team made much better.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Very nice Hotel.
I saw the advertisement they are an extended stay Hotel. I just did not expect to see the amenities (dishwasher, stove top, roomy refridgerator etc.).
The room was clean and comfortable. Good location and staff.
We booked a room through "Booking.com" from July 17 to July 19 and were charged $414.26. This included the security deposit of $150.00 the staff said I would be refunded in 7 days on my credit card. I never received it and I'm still waiting! 😡
In town for a medical appointment and enjoyed the spacious room that we had.
Nice quiet neighborhood. Good breakfast. Nice staff.
I was home visiting friends, and Larkspur Landing would be a convenient location to everything. I remember when this place was built, always thought it looked like a very nice place to stay. Everybody who works there is nice, friendly and helpful, and I have only good things to say about them. However, it is clear that no updates, upgrades or remodels have been done since this hotel was first opened. Everything is dated, old and looks very used. Signs of repair, especially in the bathroom. Broken curtain rods, valances, stove knobs and kitchen cabinets. I was very disappointed. Perhaps the owners are struggling and not able to do the needed work. I am afraid I will not be using this place in any future visits.
Arrived to check in only to be advised there had been some kind of property damage and my room was no longer available and that I should have been contacted by Expedia about a new room. I was contacted by email after 5:00pm and asked to contact them and I didn’t even see the email until the following morning. Poor and untimely communication.
Look, you get what you pay for The bed is comfy, the staff are lovely, I wouldn’t stay again, but thats just my personal preference But in this area, and this price, its fine
The property is nice and it just needs to be renovated and the water pipes to be cleaned up.
Staff 10/10
We left the hotel shortly after we checked in. The first room we had smelled like cigarettes. We asked to change to a different room
Eggs looked unappetizing. They were sitting in water bacon wasn’t good other food options were fine
The front desk people are very cheerful and helpful!
There was no attendant when we arrived at 4:30pm, waited 15 minutes, not very friendly. Room was in bad shape, broken drapes, broken door, AC did not work and the fridge was super loud (last legs) condiments and coffee not set up in the room. The nicest person was one of the staff I did not get his name and the lady in charge of breakfast Saturday-though they cleaned up early.
Refused paid for room, gave my booked confirmed room away stated had to move hotels. eventually gave me lesser room with no amenities or included breakfast. Was stated that room would be comp'ed and not charged but Expedia owes me refund!
Breakfast not fresh and has only 3 choices we don't eat pork, we ask if any meat choice Management shrugged our complains and we had to eat outside the hotel. Hotel room carpet disgusting. Third bed on the sofa broken.
The carpet of public space is dirty, the breakfast is poor.
It was nice for the price. Clean beds, no bugs, comfortable big rooms.
We found cockroaches in our room twice. Had to ask for trash removal and fresh towels several times. Dishwasher smelled awful. Key cards had to be reset every other day. TV had multiple issues. Room above us leaked into our bathroom.
Second stay, nothing unique compared to say extended stay america, but was a good stay overall. Last night the front desk had no additional towels though, so that sucked, had to call to get the desk clerk to come out, despite trying tog et there attention from the lobby. Not in a rude way, but I could hear the phone ringing, and they were like 20 feet away in managers office. The fridge in the room ABSOLUTELY needs maintenance, it makes an unbearable loud noise when running, clearly no intended, and the only suggestion was to, and I quote "Just unplug it." This was irksome, as I did have perishables that needed preserving, so I had to unplug it each night, and plug it back in to keep the items chilled. Advertises netflix, but have to use own account, not awful, just annoying with no HBO or similar service. I would still recommend that hotel, particularly if you prefer to prepare ones own food.
Good
Always great customer service. Friendly, accommodating and a good value.
Unprofessional staff and a disappointing experience. I arrived around 11:30 PM after a long day of travel, only to be told that the King Suite I had reserved — their largest room — was no longer available and that I’d be downgraded to a studio. The receptionist's solution? She said she could offer me a second room for free, but only if I had another guest. It was just me and my service dog, so that offer made no sense. I calmly asked if they were offering a discount for the downgrade — a completely reasonable question. That’s when things went sideways. The receptionist became combative, rude, and completely unprofessional. She repeated several times that I was being recorded, which I was happy about. Hopeful they would see her horrific behavior. After being harassed over and over I decided to cancel my 5-night stay and leave. I’ve never experienced a front desk interaction this hostile, especially over such a simple, polite inquiry. I won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to think twice before booking.
The fact no one cleans your room daily, however didn’t know they did this every 3 days, but it’s cool, we had a great visit!!
The room was a great size for our family but would not recommend. The carpets were dirty; didn't look vacuumed in days, shampoo was not stocked, only left 2 towels for the max 6 guests we had and there seemed to be a lot of questionable activity going on. We would not recommend for families with kids.
I would stay there again
Thank you for. making accommodations for us to get ready for a wedding, it was much appreciated
Well located property. Could use more kitchen utensils but you can easily cook simple meals or eat out nearby.
Close to Campbell community center
the sheer curtain was torn. A little ghetto
Such a big place !! Staff was so nice .. although the sofa bed definitely needs new cushioning … quiet calming clean place ! Would definitely stay there again .
Rooms have some stale odor almost urine smell
The property is located in an easily accessed location, close to freeways and local amenities. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable.
Breakfast was okay. It could improve. The staff who takes care of the morning breakfast was not friendly & has attitude problem. She was grouchy. Looks like to me that She doesn’t enjoy her work. Choices of food for breakfast are very limited. Room was old & needs a lot of improvements.
