Rooms need updating

Beachfront is the way to go. Great long shallow water. Perfect beach nice balcony.

Rooms are a bit dated. Our bathroom needed upgrade.

Everything was good the, the beach was very nice.

Are room had a lot of moisturize, things were getting wet if it sat out to long. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming.

The check in staff, "Andre," was exceptionally kind. Thank you~

No coffee in the morning (all out) in the lobby and cold breakfast.

Eating out establishments across a busy street. There is no way to cross safely.

Breakfast was really bad. They have packed breakfast with minimal choices and quantity. A hotel like this should provide a continental breakfast with a decent area to sit down and eat.

The front desk task were not very welcoming of guests. They looked indifferent and not helpful. They hardly spoke to us. They gave a feeling that we are bothering them when we asked questions. It was not a pleasant experience. There were small ants crawling in the bathroom. Not good for a hotel that is located in such a fine location and on the beach.

No parking on our side of the hotel at night. This needs to be monitored. The rooms need to be remodeled . Thought it was overpriced for the over all stay.

I liked that it is beachfront and has a pretty nice beach.

Its definitely not worth the price. First when we arrived we gave our order for breakfast for the next morning, well we got totally different breakfast. Then the fridge was making a constant pretty annoying noise (like water dripping - thats the best I could describe it) so we turned it off and had no fridge because otherwise we couldn’t sleep with the noise. Then we got a pretty big leak in the bathroom from the bedroom above us and they just told us to wait it out until it dries (no towels given to clean it, no cleaning done at all from their side, nothing but “wait until the bathroom upstairs dries and the leak will eventually stop”). The price tag is DEFINITELY not worth it!

Hotel was clean. I loved the beach and beach chairs. Also, the view from our room was great!

I wish they had a hot breakfast in a dining area with a waffle maker!

The beach was nice.

I paid almost $400 for this room that was like a last minute add on to the resort. It felt like being in a walk in closet with a bathroom. The view was of the other side of the resort. Not A price I would’ve paid had I known the room was so subpar. The breakfast that we chose was a frozen sausage breakfast sandwich. Pathetic.

Staff was was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beach.

The breakfast box arrived fresh, on time. It was a very good option for a hotel that does not have a kitchen. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Excellent beach amenities.

There needs to be a safe way for pedestrians to cross the busy road without walking a mile to the nearest light. The town should make some adjustments as it continues to grow. The hotels are on the beach side of the road and mini golf, go Karting, and restaurants are on the other side, with no safe place to cross!

We had beach gnats in our room when we first checked in. Had to call and have someone come in and remove but it still was not pleasant.

I enjoyed the convenience of having resteraunts and excursions within minutes of the hotel. I also enjoyed the beautiful view from our room.

I didnt like the check in time. I would really like an earlier check in time.

Location was good

To be completely transparent, I never realized the term “resort” could be used so loosely. I was a Disney Vacation Club member for 20 years, and when I think of a resort, I think of the accommodations at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Based on the price I paid, I expected something closer to that level of quality. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I’m not saying this is a bad place to stay, but I do believe it is significantly overpriced for what it offers. It appears to be a former Days Inn, and I believe the old Days Inn room number placards are still on the doors. It felt much more like a renovated motel than a true resort. On my first day, I contacted the front desk about several concerns. The biggest issue was the outdoor deck. I paid extra for a room with a deck, but it was completely unusable because it was covered in insects and spider webs. It was honestly unpleasant. I reported it immediately, and the front desk acknowledged they were aware of the issue and said they had already informed management. Despite that, nothing was ever done during my stay. No one attempted to clean the deck, so I ended up paying for an amenity I couldn’t use. The boxed breakfast was average at best. The “fresh fruit” that was advertised was disappointing. The oranges were so soft and mushy that they were inedible, which did not meet my expectation of fresh fruit. If this had been priced like a typical motel, I probably wouldn’t have been disappointed. However, it was priced as a resort, and in my opinion, it falls well short of what most travelers would reasonably expect from a property described and priced that way. I hope management addresses these issues because the property has potential, but at its current price point, it simply doesn’t deliver the value I expected.

Beach was very clean along with the beach chairs. Hot tub and pool area clean. Room was comfortable and clean. Loved having our breakfast delivered each day!

Our towel bar in the bathroom came apart when we took a towel off. I did report it to the front desk. Did not effect our stay.

One of the beds was so sunken in, couldn’t sleep on it.

The location is great. The beachfront is very nice it’s easy to get to all of Traverse City and the airport from this hotel. The staff were very available and attentive and had everything we needed. The pool area and hot tub were very nice.

The only negative is that the breakfast is done by delivering 1 of 5 guest selected boxes of food to your room rather than a buffet style breakfast. These were okay but offered no flexibility to those with dietary restrictions and isn’t as nice as real plates with flatware.

The main advantage of the hotel is its location. Room was spacious

It seems that that the management is trying to cut costs. Showe towel had big hole, mirror at bathroom worn out, no dining room for breakfast, got a box with some staff. Not very apetizing and arrived to our room 30 minute late and after repeated phones to front desk. There are 3 buildings but none has signs so we had to wander around in order to locate our.

This hotel is great for kids. It is directly on the beach. Breakfast is delivered to your room each morning at the requested time. Coffee in the room and in the lobby. They were very accommodating to requests and very friendly.

1. Best overall facilities and total experience over the course of our 7 day/6 venue trip. My wife's favorite place. 2. Balcony opened to the beach, which was only ~60 yds. to the water. Even had an excellent sunset view. 3. Staff seemed very well prepared and organized. 4. Solid accessibility options. 5. Full set of room amenities... even guest laundry.

1. something out of their control: the construction and traffic on the main drag can make it difficult to exit -- especially when turning left (Eastbound). 2. minor point: breakfast options. While room delivery is nice, there's limited set of available options and that may not work well for young families.

It is an older property. For us the beds were not very comfortable. The bathtub feels like it leans down hill

The location was great being right on the water. We had the first floor which had a doorway that goes out onto a patio, and a nice beach area. The hotel was very clean, everyone very friendly. We used the hot tub/pool. In the morning they will drop off a boxed continental breakfast for you. Coffee stand in the lobby, it’s was great visit!

Being an indoor pool and cannot be warmed from the sun, the pool temperature could be higher to make it more comfortable.

The cold breakfast was adequate. The room was wonderful. It was spacious and I loved the bed.The view of the bay and beach were exceptional.

The room was good size

The empty beer cans laying around the pool area, the intoxicated adults ignoring their children in the pool, the extremely loud and obnoxious unsupervised children that were being very dangerous in the pool area by running and jumping almost on top of my son in the water. The screaming unsupervised children running through the halls at 11pm.

Pretty view, clean hotel. Comfy bed

I could hear the guest next to me, talking the whole night, just having conversation not yelling, but super thin walls. Up till 1am or so. The breakfast was very sad. I wish hotels did hot breakfasts in a room still, like before Covid.

Stayed there every year for the last 10 years or so.

The room had some minor cosmetic blemishes but overall clean and comfortable. The boxed breakfast was convenient with several options delivered right to your door, but miss a hot breakfast.

The staff were very courteous and friendly. This was a great family place to stay. Our room had a king and queen room first floor on the beach and it was adequate sized so our family didn’t feel like we were tripping over each other. The breakfast boxes were great- just what we eat at home. It was nice to be able to have them right there in the beach.

It would be great if you coordinated with several restaurants in the area for lunch and dinner delivery. We used door dash Qdoba and it took an hour and a half. We chose the room for the beach and didn’t want to leave it.

Breakfast wasn’t my favorite. My family and I like breakfast buffet or hot breakfast. Other then that everything was great.

Beach setting and rentals close by. Bed was excellent and shower awesome. No smoking.

The chairs in the room were dingy need a good steam clean. The sofa when sat on sinks down and made wooooooof sound. Someone snuck a pet in room 602 and they didn’t bother to hide it. Barked and wined because of fireworks.

Could not understand the most of t he staff

Quiet, pleasant staff, nice view.

Dirty grout and mold in the bathroom. Though supposedly a smoke free facility the room smelled like cigarette smoke and some scent to cover it up.

Our room was on the first floor and the lake side, so I could walk out onto the beach plus see the lake at all times. It was beautiful.

Right on the beach located near food. Had an indoor pool that was a plus, since it rained when we were there.

Older and price we booked through booking.com. Thought it was a different hotel. Did not check other hotels but all had vacancy signs.

My main negative was the woman at the front desk. Did not greet us, I had to say hello first, and she was as cold as I've had a front desk treat me. It continued with the poor attitude while we waited for room to be ready. In the morning when asking to replace the empty coffee, the response was with attitude and unfriendliness. It's too bad, the hotel was nice to stay at but the hotel had zero hospitality...not ok with me!
