The location is perfect. On the beach. Nice balcony to watch the waves and sunset. The bed was comfortable. Happy Hour was very nice! The front desk was informative and friendly.

We loved the proximity to downtown TC. The rooms were clean, and the staff was great. Continental break was good too.

There could be more lighting in the family suite.

Had issues with the internet. I work from home and couldn't do my work becuz the internet kept saying unavailable. Other than that everything was good.

Property was clean and staff very freindly. It was right on the lake and had plenty if seating

They offered a $10.99 breakfast buffet. They said the gal called in sick saturday and sunday. Understandable. The complementary breakfast they offered was just bad, horrible unacceptable. Only problem is the buffet was in a room we ate in and there could have not been to offer on the buffet that they didnt offer for free. Personally i will not stay here again. Note the staff were all great and friendly amd the place clean.

What i liked was the convenient location of the resort, it was close to downtown so easy access to restaurants,bars,shops, and things to do there. It was also rite on the beach so acces to that whatever day I wanted to get some sun or take a swim was a breeze,(depending on weather of course). I also like that housekeeping does it's duty everyday and will come tighty up the room if need be,and the staff members I had encounters with were friendly.

I am not sure if it was thrown away by accident mistaken by garbage, or it just disappeared from my room, but the bag for one of my sunglasses 😎 is no were to be found now that I am home and have unpacked and double checked everything. I am 100% positive I had it with me when arriving to hotel, and had left it on top of dressers were TV is mounted on to dresser wall. I dont like being that person,and I know it's just a bag for sunglasses, but its the principal of respecting people's property that belong to them. Don't think ill ever see that bag again, and I dont think I missed placed it.

Pulizia camera e della colazione da rivedere(bicchieri marchiati di rossetto. Non aiuta una struttura obsoleta, usurata. Serve una completa ristrutturazione . Balcone vista mare eccezionale peccato che aveva la sedia rotta e che il balcone non era stato pulito. Capisco la presenza dei gabbiani , ma la camera inclusi i balconi vanno consegnati puliti, poi la natura farà il suo corso. C’è un ristorante sicuramente comodo in struttura, sicuramente sarà stato ottimo , ma non ho avuto il coraggio di cenare per indubbio igiene della struttura. In generale non ci tornerò, non ha senso spendere tutti quei soldi per una struttura così obsoleta e non pulita.

Very run down and the key cards never worked. The bar on the property and very trashy.

The staff sucked, there was a charge for everything, nothing convinced about the location.

I loved everything but the breakfast could have been better and the servant.

Great Beach, Great view from 4th floor room with balcony. Staff was very helpful after leaving my Air Pods in my swim trunks in the room. After a few days of checking in with them they were found and shipped to my house.

Price, But is was a summer weekend on the beach in Traverse so it is expected but still pricey for two night stay.

The room was nice, clean and quiet. We were right on a busy road with planes flying over and we didn't hear any of it from the room. I loved that it was right on the beach and we had a balcony. It was a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. To have to pay extra for it, it was not much different than a free continental breakfast at other places.

Staff very friendly and over accommodating…. Loved everything about our first trip here. Will be sharing this Wonderful experience with all our friends

We loved the restaurant on site and found all staff very pleasant & helpful.

We had a first floor walkout. The moment we walked in, we could feel the room was very "soggy". Everything felt damp. We could not rectify this at all. We did not sleep well. When the air ran, it was cold and instantly got humid when it stopped running. It was very 2uncomfortable.

The hotel is very old and the carpet in the hallways and rooms has never been replaced and it smells. The WIFI service in the room was weak in the front room and almost non-existent in the second room. TV in one of the two rooms did not work and channel lineup was minimal in the second and since the WIFI was weak I could not watch YouTube TV on my laptop. The microwave did not work. Only one of the stove top burners worked. There were no spoons in the silverware drawer and only two knives and two forks. Finally, the staff was not professionally dressed or groomed and not very friendly.

The beachside view and the staff were great.

Property is showing its age. The bathroom floor was sticky and the sheets felt like there was sand in them. They used to offer free breakfast and now have a paid buffet if similar items that were in their free breakfast. The restaurant food wasn’t as good as our last stay, either. Had food memories from previous stays; dunno if we’ll return again.

For the price of the room, we were surprised that breakfast was not included. We also would have liked a gym. Additionally, the hotel seemed a little shabby and in need of updating. The condition of the hotel and the location would have been adequate if the price had been more reasonable; however, I will not stay here again unless the price is considerably lower.

I loved the beach! It was clean and it was nice they had enough chairs for anyone who wanted one.

The location. Right on the beach, 10 mins from downtown. Plenty of shopping/restaurants near by.

Bathroom shower had black stuff all over the caulk (hopefully it isn't black mold) so it gave it a dirty vibe, like why wouldnt u make it not look like that? Also our toilet kept not working. We'd have to keep fixing the chain inside the top of the toilet so it would flush, which was annoying.

We were a bit disappointed that the continental breakfast is not offered throughout the summer. We are just a muffin and juice crew, so paying for a breakfast buffet,even at a slightly discounted price, was not a value for us.

Our room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the beach, gorgeous Sandy Beach. It was great swimming right out front. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Right on the East Traverse Bay, the location of this hotel is perfect for beach walks, swimming, etc. And it’s just a few steps away from parasailing and rentals for kayaks and jet skis! Friendly and helpful staff.

The balcony is a bit small and not well cleaned, and the bed is pretty hard.

Breakfast not included. Outdated rooms. Had a smell to our room. The AC unit hits directly on you when in bed and it was horrible. Couldn’t keep on much because it hits you directly and you freeze. So has to turn off and then you sweat so hot.

Colleen has been such a pleasure. She did over and above. The restaurant is great. I dream of that shrimp bucket. Yum

Parkshore has the best beach in my opinion. My partner walked every morning along the beach past every other hotel and we agreed Parkshore has the cleanest biggest and most accessible for guests. We enjoyed the luxury of the Bar and Restaurant. We always enjoy the food and special options. We will be back.

Check out was a bit of confussion. My only advice would be to check out with an actual person and get a receipt. It seemed out stay was extended with be notified or prior conversation. Luckily, we went distance leave our keys in the drop box and leave. It would have been a mess to qork out hours away.

Room location, first floor on the water and room layout. The patio was a good size and included two lounges, two chairs, and a table.

The television was difficult to operate. The swimming pool was too cold to use and the hot tub had weak jets.

I didn't have any issues or need anything from the staff. The room was as expected. The location was good, there were plenty of stores very close for food and goods. The pool was decent (the first 2 days it was really cold, but the last 2 days it was really nice and not cold.

I didn't like the pool being cold. The breakfast didn't look very good, so we didn't eat there. The hotel seemed a bit dated but really not bad. Oh, and the water in the shower left our skin feeling slimy that wouldn't rinse off, not sure what that was about though.

Our room keys reset both days we were there and we had to go to the front desk to get them reactivated and also the WiFi didn’t seem to work. Not my favorite pillows to sleep o.n.

Great view and room location decent too

Great location for visiting Traverse City - not directly in the main part of the city so it was quieter and less hectic. Within driving distance of Sleeping Bear Dunes which is a must see. Our room had a lake/beach view with balcony which we enjoyed greatly. The room was very comfortable and clean. Most of the staff were very friendly. Entire hotel is right on the beach with chairs provided. Shower and water pressure is great! Attached restaurant was nice for a rainy evening when we didn’t want to get out in the rain. Coffee and hot tea available in lobby all day and the coffee was actually drinkable (unlike a lot of hotel coffee)! Overall a great 4 night stay!

A little outdated and could use a refresh in the main lobby and hallways. Breakfast could have a little more effort.

Everything was amazing. The staff was so nice. Everything was clean and fairly updated. Smart TV was a major plus. I loved having beach access, literally just steps to the beach. Free breakfast was actually really good, banana bread was so yummy. The restaurant/bar is also really good, the bartenders were great. Fairly close to attractions and restaurants.

I wish they had bigger pillows, especially for the king sized beds. I would bring my own next time. The indoor pool was a little cold for my liking but it was semi chilly outside. My remote for the TV didn’t work but the staff replaced it, they’re very helpful.

The stain curtains has to go. The only table to eat on, was very unstable. If they would fix the table, put new curtains up, and even maybe add a few extra dishes for cooking and prepping, it would be a good place to stay at. I would recommend them putting a table on the deck too. Maybe also cleaning the deck area a little more. A lot of cobwebs.

I liked the location of the hotel.

The bathroom floor was sticky, the pillows in the king size bed were very small. The mattress was very uncomfortable.

We loved the location and how easy it was to take little children there. The Beach, indoor pool and close by playground were all big hits, not to mention the ice cream truck near the playground.

On the lake, and had a restaurant and bar on premises. Complimentary Coffee and breakfast available. Star was friendly and helpful, nice reception upon arriving to have a warm greeting.

Very comfortable bed, clean.

Our handicap accessible room was a long way from the entrance. The bathroom was inadequate for ADA standards. The commode was low, however, there was a grab bar. The shower was a walk-in, but NO grab bars. Very dangerous for those of us with balance issues. The view was atrocious. We had this same room last year, with a view of some equipment and a tar roof of some kind.

The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in! I went to bed at about midnight and was wide awake by 4:30am in severe pain...

The pool has no lights and the last few stays doesn't look very clean. It's not very inviting or fresh at all without being lit. Also, the last stay they closed the kitchen early after we called and asked what time (12a) and left our event early to be able to get something to eat and they were closed by 11:30.

The bed was not comfortable. The TV would randomly turn on during the day and at night.

We stay here at least once a year and have never been disappointed. Rooms are clean .. bed is comfortable. Food downstairs in the bar/restaurant is delicious…I especially like the pizza.

The hot tub was colder then the pool and the pool was cold i ended up leaveing and got a diffrent room i got the room becouse my son wanted for him and a friend or 2 to go swimming and hot tub and there was no gym
