Very comfortable and large rooms in a well kept hotel. We enjoyed that it was possible to have breakfast outside. Surrounded by a safe and green area. There is a nice little pool.

Dogs everywhere. If they could keep all dogs at the lowest floor I would appreciate it. I do not like to be in a room where dogs were in there.

I booked this hotel due to the high review scores but have immediately regretted my decision. The room is very uncomfortable and I'm not sure how people could have possibly been happy with their stay; everything from the bed to the couch is not good quality, and the layout and decor makes absolutely no sense. To make matters worse the lighting in the room is very dim and there's barely any natural light due to a small window. I'm seriously considering just leaving early and staying somewhere else because I have no idea how I'll get a good night's sleep here during my vacation. I will never make the mistake again of staying at an Ayres.

friendly staff, good size room. easy check-in checkout. had both fridge and microwave. comfortable stay. breakfast selection had sausage, potatoes, pancakes, bagels, strawberry yogurt, cereal, fruit everyday free cookies at front desk mid day had convenient self serve snacks ready for purchase

thin walls, Can hear hallway and other people in their rooms. beds sunk a little but slept ok large roach outside near car drop-off area near front at night.

We really enjoyed how clean everything was and the really good breakfast.

We didn't love the banging noise that kept occurring around 8am every morning. I don't know if it was other guests in their rooms or the cleaning staff, but that was a bit jarring to hear. Not sure what would generate such disruptive noises or why people can't be considerate of neighboring rooms.

The rooms and public areas are beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast was good. Parking easy and plentiful.

It's a bit more expensive in this area than most other parts of Southern California. Also, the breakfast area is small and gets very crowded and noisy on weekends.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice pool area, great breakfast. Good location for visiting family in Lareda Ranch.

Restaurant on site was so-so, but the hotel is near some great restaurants only a 10 minute walk away.

​I experienced an appalling level of service and a complete failure of duty of care from Booking.com regarding my stay at Ayres Suites Mission Viejo. ​I proactively modified my check-in date through support (confirmed by agent Gaurav S.). However, Booking.com’s system failed to charge the additional room rate difference to my valid credit card on file. Instead of alerting me to their processing error, they unilaterally cancelled my reservation without notice while I was on a flight to Los Angeles, citing an "unpaid balance." ​When I arrived at the property, the hotel turned me away, stating nothing could be done. Booking.com support did not offer a "remedy" until 9:39 PM—hours after I was already stranded and forced to pay out-of-pocket for a last-minute room at a completely different hotel. ​To make matters worse, after ignoring my messages for a week, customer service is now refusing to waive the cancellation fees, attempting to blame "hotel policy" for a cancellation caused entirely by their own billing glitch. ​I am currently initiating a formal fraud/chargeback dispute with my bank to get my money back. Do not trust this platform with your travel plans; their system errors will leave you stranded on the street with zero immediate support.

This is become my favorite hotel to stay at due to the Hotel always being well kept, the rooms are always clean to the top, and it's a nice quiet hotel. The staff knows you and are very professional, polite and knowledgeable of their duties. Although I'm not here on an everyday stay, as I come and go with days in between due to a repiping in the rental home I am in, the front desk staff knows me and my situation. Kelly has been awesome. I am looking forward to returning to this hotel for my own personal usage even after my rental is repaired and I have moved out of it and return to visit my family. Thank you for the great stays!!

Room was super clean. Had plentiful amount of towels. The hotel gives you a nice supply of coffee and the small coffee pot to make it in. Has a microwave and refrigerator. I found my sofa to be comfortable to sit on. Sink has a nice area that allows you to place all your items including curling irons and blow dryers that you need to get ready with. This was my third stay within a month as my house is getting new water pipes put in. I found this particular room that I stayed in and was a great location. There wasn't a lot of excessive noise or door slamming that you hear in a lot of hotels. I've been very impressed with this hotel.

The sheets are very firm. Their crispness started to wear down the skin on my elbow, making it sore, while I was using the mouse with my computer. I had to grab one of my t-shirts and put it underneath or else I was afraid it was going to start to bleed.

Room was good and clean. Had a beautiful view.

Due to the day of week, a Friday, the hotel was extremely noisy. I believe there was possibly a wedding going on the next day as I saw somebody with flowers. There was lots of slamming of doors that could be heard throughout the night. Also my room number 309 seem to be across the way from a laundry area. I kept hearing the slamming of doors that sounded like they were washer dryer throughout the very late of the evening. It was very disturbing even with the TV on. Because I was close to the elevator you could hear everybody talking in the hallways.

We love Ayres hotels. The rooms are so nice and comfortable. The staff are so friendly. The breakfast is great too.

Nosy a/c, shower water output in room 323 went out about 1 foot. Disabled bench is at back of shower. How is that supposed to work?

Pool area, room size, above average soundproofing for other rooms, cookies in the evening at front desk, generally clean and well-maintained building and gruonds. the desk clerk manager was EXCELLENT -- she really knows her technical stuff about the hotel and radiated a suprerlative attitude of actually caring to assist a customer statying at the hotel.

of the 7 desk clerks spoken to only 3 really seemd to know what "hospitality" meant as a profession. the other 4 gave an air of irritation over our questions and concerns. the fitness room didn't have enough towels for all 5 days of our stay.
