I loved the food 😋 , it was lovely , i love loove love the staff they were exceptional... the rooms cool , clean (wish a strong drink was in the fridge).. the entertainment was good (crystal was interactive n big up our girl nelly . She was welcoming,kind n lovely) oh and the chef jaden (he gave us an Italian food it was to die for . Trust me I'd dine at the Italian restaurant n dawn the lady worked with it was lovely she was kind n gave us a great fine dining experience.. the front desk dont remember her name but it start with a I with pretty hair ,she was awesome. The security team (rasta n short man- they to were great 👍) the brown cooly guy at bar . AWESOME... Its a lot of good oh Randy he disnt pass without saying Goodmorning r goodnight. I cant remember everyone but i didnt expect that it would have been so great. Oh I loved that the pool was open all night so we could chill after all dinner wen the entertainment end. I also loved the peace and quiet we got.

The menu was kinda bland some nights. The stairs were rough for me but i managed. Not really much bellman to assist with bags up the three flights . The young man that work at the pool bar was like he wasnt happy to be at work or he was having a bad day well days cuz his face and attitude was off. The days are kinda boring so maybe some entertainment in the day , dance off , pool activities etc . My sisters room ac wasnt low enough they couldnt adjust it ,couldn't bother to go down the stairs just to tell them that.

The employees are all exceptionally polite. The location is great with the nice beach across the street.

Why is it that check in time is 3 but persons had to wait up to 2 hours for room availability when they had a reservation? Stating that the rooms aren't ready. That was poor welcoming from the start. Pool was dirty. Parking space extremely poor and it's obvious the security allows non guests to park. I was called to move my car while getting ready for bed after being told I can park there. The persons working in the chukka area were not welcoming barely even smiled. Felt as if I was bothering them. The pool side lifeguard was nice though. There were cobwebs under the chairs in the room and dirt in the corners and sides. I could not wait to leave. Some staff at the front desk need another round of customer service training.

Good selection of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Over all my family and I had an enjoyable few nights stay at Deja Hotel, before leaving for the Airport. We will recommend to friends and family.

Ein total gutes Hotel für die 3*** was wir sonst so in Jamaica erlebt haben, waren wir positiv überrascht, hatte eigentlich 4**** verdient. Das man den kostenpflichtigen Strand gegenüber nutzen kann top. Essen auch absolut ok.

Schön wäre, wenn man noch Liegen im Preis dabei hätte am Strand. Das mit dem Pool geht leider gar nicht Keine Dusche dort, somit springen alle verschwitzt rein, der Pool ist eklig. Außerdem hat man trotz Getränke Karte, am Pool nicht alle Getränke bekommen Die Bar ist furchtbar, es stank dort, viel zu laut und zu dunkel. Wir haben dort nur Getränke geholt und sind aufs Zimmer gegangen.

We spent 3 days at Deja and let me tell you the staff was so welcoming, food great and the housekeeping team had our room smelling and feeling like home , thumbs up to bartenders and to the wonderful security guards who kept us feeling safe .TY

Shower head needed to be replaced in the bathroom was leaking onto the floor the lighting is very gloomy and dim in the bedrooms as well. The bed was okay, but the mattress could be a little bit more softer, but the room was very clean and had a nice Courtyard area.

I didn’t like that children room was not clean after a day of our stay . You know children can be messy but I understand though, maybe the staff didn’t get around to do it.

The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Despite these issues, the location was absolutely beautiful and was by far the best part of our stay. I appreciate the staff’s efforts in trying to resolve our room issue promptly.

Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by several issues. The first room we were assigned had an air conditioner that wasn’t working properly, and the bottom pipe in the shower came loose and fell, hitting my daughter on her foot. We also found false eyelashes left behind from a previous guest, which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room. After calling the front desk and expressing our concerns, we were moved to another room around 1:30 a.m. The second room was cleaner, and the air conditioner worked much better. However, we still found false eyelashes stuck to the shower wall. In addition, the bathroom was very dated and could definitely benefit from renovations. The food was also disappointing. Most of it wasn’t prepared to my liking. The beef was not cooked tender enough and the beef soup lacked flavor. Another downside was that several of the common areas throughout the resort did not have air conditioning as a result it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The cleanliness, maintenance, and dining experience need significant improvement. I would definitely return if these issues are addressed. Otherwise, I would not consider staying here again.

Great location, great atmosphere. Room was spacious. Got all our requests for extra blankets and towels. The ambience was great especially because of the staff from the front desk staff to the cleaners. We especially enjoy Nelly the entertainment coordinator. She was amazing friendly, played and interacted with us whenever she saw us. She has great customer service even though she almost won us on Ludo game lol. We had a blast.

This hotel was great very small from hotels we usually stay at. My family had a great time at the beach which was across the street and the small pool. The last night (Saturday)I love ❤️ the activity and the entertainment group. The staff were 5stars and entertainment as well.They needed more food options as the buffet was the only great food option and pool stand that does not stay open long night. Overall great location to party,staff was very friendly and can't stop praising the entertainment team that every night made the hotel enjoyable. Family trip successfully 2026

Tuve una excelente experiencia en Deja Resort en Montego Bay. Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación, ya que está muy cerca del aeropuerto y justo frente a la playa Doctor's Cave, una de las más hermosas de la zona. El personal fue muy amable y siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudar. El proceso de check-in fue rápido y me hicieron sentir bienvenida desde el primer momento. La habitación era cómoda, limpia y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La comida fue variada y de buena calidad, con opciones para diferentes gustos. También disfruté mucho del ambiente del hotel, que era tranquilo, seguro y perfecto tanto para descansar como para conocer otros viajeros. Otro aspecto que valoro es que se puede caminar fácilmente a restaurantes, tiendas de recuerdos y otros lugares de interés en Montego Bay, lo que hace muy cómodo explorar la ciudad sin necesidad de transporte. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme en Deja Resort y lo recomendaría a quienes busquen una excelente relación entre calidad, ubicación y precio para disfrutar de unas vacaciones en Jamaica.

En general tuve una buena experiencia, pero hubo algunos aspectos que podrían mejorar. En ocasiones el Wi-Fi era inestable, especialmente en la habitación. Aunque la comida era buena, después de varios días el menú se volvió un poco repetitivo y me habría gustado encontrar más variedad. También noté que algunas áreas del hotel podrían beneficiarse de una renovación para verse más modernas. Además, en ciertos momentos se escuchaba ruido proveniente de la calle o de las actividades cercanas, lo que podía afectar un poco el descanso. A pesar de estos detalles, considero que son aspectos menores en comparación con la excelente ubicación, la atención del personal y la experiencia general que ofrece el hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Deja Resort. The location is excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special mention goes to Shane at the front desk for his professionalism, as well as the security team who were always attentive and assisted guests safely across the road. I also appreciated the support from the luggage handlers, Andre and Omar, who were efficient and courteous. The restaurant staff, including Brandon, Lennie, Racquel, and Marie, provided great service, and the food was both delicious and authentically prepared. The entertainment, led by Loretta, added a lively and enjoyable atmosphere to the stay. Most of all, I would like to commend the manager, Dahlia Walker, who ensured the hotel ran smoothly and was always approachable with a listening ear. On the downside, the Italian restaurant did not meet expectations, as the food was disappointing. Additionally, beach towels tended to run out quickly, which was inconvenient at times. Overall, a very pleasant stay, I will definitely book this hotel again.

My partner and I both agreed that all was well except the food. There wasn't much to choose from and the taste wasn't very great.

I stayed here for a total of 8 nights, the first night being the day of my arrival in Jamaica, and then I returned 3 days later for a week. I'm telling you, after the first day's welcome and hospitality, we couldn't wait to come back. I really do have to commend this hotel as having stayed at multiple hotels across Jamaica, big and small, I have definitely found my place now. I've got a good few people to mention, so hold on, from Shane and Reshaun and Imani on the front desk to Brandon, Marie, and Sattia in the main dining room, to Omar and Andre who helped us with our luggage and OJ and Lennie in the bar. Everyone gave exemplary service and was very authentic and definitely appeared to enjoy their work, which is always a good thing. I would like to give an extra special commendation Dahlia, who recognised without fuss my disability and ensured i was never at a disadvantage. Her warmth, genuine and kind consideration was heartfelt and helped to make me feel truly comfortable at this little haven. The food is amazing, there was not one day where we were disappointed with the choices or the taste of anything that was served. Let me not forget Dexter, who went the extra mile and prepared an ache dish for my friend who is vegetarian. Nothing was ever too much trouble. You will not be disappointed with the evening entertainment here, where the gregarious Loretta held charge and coordinated all different types of activities and encouraged people to participate. Done to the lovely gentleman at security who stopped the traffic to get us across the road to the beach. If there are any faults they were small things which i took up at the time and they were resolved. I will most definitely come back here, and i cannot recommend it enough. Soon come!!!

First time at the Deja Resort Hotel and it was an amazing trip. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, helpful. We want to give a big shout to Leonard, Marvin the big bad chef ,Rashawna, Nellie,Corey,Kevon,Shane, Manager Dahlia Wright, Life guard,Vibes master Loretta and all the Front Desk Agents.The food was great and the entertainment was top tier all the guests was friendly. We went to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with our family. We had been at Jamaica for our Honeymoon and now we wanted to celebrate with our family. Had an amazing time and the staff were very accommodating. We loved how the Chefs would accommodate to our unique needs. And the manager was so kind in making our celebration extra special.

Las cocinas estaban un poco sucias, la manipulación de alimentos fue un poco mala.

La ubicación del hotel, la atención de los trabajadores. Aunque no hablan español, hacían su mayor esfuerzo por entendernos. Las habitaciones las asean todos los días y el snack muy rico. Mejor dicho, excelente!!!

The stairs to the room although it's not a big hotel with a lot of floors. However, after a long day out feet gets tired, the having to climb the stairs to the room is very exhausting.

We had the best week at Deja resort! All hotel staff were accommodating and kind. It is a home from home. We travelled as a family of 4 with children and we all had a very pleasant stay. The food was authentic, the room was clean and spacious with a great balcony view of Doctor’s cave beach and everyday we would get assisted across the busy road with free beach access. The all inclusive options were good and the location of the hotel on the ‘hip strip’ is perfect. Do not hesitate to book Deja resort if you’re staying in Montego Bay and want an authentic Jamaican experience! We will definitely be back 🇯🇲

Well I rated my stay 3stars however other things made my stay pleasant. I will highlight the positive. My room was spacious and clean, through it took almost 3 hours after I arrived to get into my room (which is why I only gave 3stars) . Once settled in I went to the dinning room which was nice. The food for the most part very good. You can tell they can burn in the kitchen. Service made Every meal pleasant, there's a few names I remember due to the fact each day they not just greeted me, they put me at my preferred table. Granted I had to wait however the willingness to do it was awesome. Ms. Crystal, Ms. Vanessa, Mr. Dexter(chef) Donavan and Mrs. Anna(I think that was her name) I kept calling her Mother lol. They were Awesome and if I'm ever to come back they would be the largest reason why. For your ride service I suggest you call Chin or Chris on whatsapp(876-452-1354)(876-855-8803), so thoughtful and funny, will get you wherever you are looking to go. For the most part good stay, beach right across the street, be careful crossing because cars are coming all the time.

Spent 4 nights here on a solo trip, I enjoyed it! The location is directly across the street from the beach, which is perfect. The courtyard is beautiful and a great place to sit and read. The room was cozy, house keeping staff were wonderful. The pool is beautiful, though there were empty cups everywhere for hours that were not picked up. I booked my own excursions using trip advisor, but they can help you book activities if you need assistance. Drivers from the excursions that I booked were easily able to pick me up from the resort. The food was as to be expected from an all-inclusive resort; the dining staff were very friendly. Front desk staff were very friendly. My issue, leading to 4 stars, is with the transportation provided by the resort. I attempted to set up transportation from the airport using the “chat” feature on hotels.com; I received a response, affirming that transportation could be provided, but once I sent my flight details I never received a response and was not picked up at the airport. I took a local taxi (which was fine, same price), but this caused some mild anxiety upon my arrival. While I was checking in, I was told that I did not need to schedule departure transport and that I could be taken to the airport “whenever.” An hour after I checked in, I received an email confirming that I had been picked up from the airport, which I had not been (I haven’t checked, but I’m hoping I wasn’t charged lol). The morning that I checked out, I spoke to the younger transportation driver, asking for transport to the airport at 10:30am, and he agreed. The younger driver, Elijah, who also assisted with booking activities, was super friendly and helpful. I arrived to the lobby at 10:24am, and was told by the gruff older transportation driver that there would be no airport transport until 11am. Again mildly anxious about being late, I sat in the lobby waiting; at 11am we got up to get in the van, the man demanded that I get a “paper” from the front desk for the transport, while I naively assumed I would just pay him in cash. I was anxiously trying to get this “paper” (just turned out to be a receipt) from the front desk, which took at least 5 minutes because reception kept stepping away to answer the phone (they were doing their job, I don’t hold it against them! Was just super anxious because I didn’t want the van to leave without me). Anyways, getting transportation felt like it took an act of congress, but other than that my experience was great. Some things to keep in mind/I was not aware of before going: The beach is only open until 5:30pm. There is a card in your check-in envelope, you redeem if at the office at the resort for a beach towel. If you don’t return the towel/get the card back, it is a $30 charge. Not an issue, but the beach across the street is heavily monitored by staff. The downtown area has some famous bars and small local shops, but you have navigate the intense male locals to explore. Again, not an issue, just something to be aware of for solo female travelers. If you’re anxious, be mindful of the transportation concerns. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, I enjoyed my stay here, and would definitely come back. Jamaica was a lot of fun, would recommend this place if you’re a solo traveler!

The name suggests it’s a resort and it’s not. It’s a small hotel on the busy main road through Montego Bay (the strip). The pool is small and the water was cloudy most of our stay. It needed proper treatment to clear the water. Proper glasses are a premium in the downstairs bar. Who wants to drink out of plastic in the evenings. The seating areas on level 1 and 2 are in a poor way. The rooms are not clean. The pillow cases at times were grey not white and the pillows were past their sell by date. Food was basic and repetitive. Limited salad and fruit available. I will not return

Rates between a 2 and a 3. Best part is the service - everyone is friendly and helpful. Room was clean but very dated. Bed was okay, pillows okay. Food was buffet style and also okay. The not so good? Do not get a first floor room - super noisy. The AC was barely functional and the common area outdoors so hope you like humidity. The only thing truly awful was the gym - a small dark room with two broken treadmills and a rack of dumbbells.

La ubicación es buena, está frente a la playa Doctor´s Cave y tienes acceso gratis por quedarte en el hotel (aunque si quieres cama de playa o sombrilla, tienes que pagar aparte).

El hotel en si no tienen áreas suficientemente cómodas como para quedarte a pasar el dia, la piscina es pequeña y con 5-6 camas de playa para todo el hotel. Ambos bares son pequeños y incómodos. El servicio del restaurante es terriblemente lento, tienes que esperar entre 15-20 minutos para que te sienten en una mesa porque el restaurante está subdimensionado para la capacidad del hotel. El gimnasio es minúsculo, de las dos máquinas corredoras sólo funcionaba una, a parte de las dos máquinas habian algunas pesas y un saco de box y no tenía aire acondicionado El restaurante italiano, fue terriblemente malo, muy muy malo, no vale la pena hacer la reserva. El hotel no ofrece la posibilidad de alquilar kayak o paddle para usar en la playa.

The food was generally very tasty. Beverages were very good, as well. The room was very quiet and comfortable.

Two minor complaints. The evening entertainment was a bit brief and what was advertised did not always occur. The other thing was the onsite Italian restaurant was a bit disappointing in the flavour of the food.

Overall good stay. They seem to put a lot into cleanliness. Friendly staff. Did not know what to expect before coming, I guess I expected more of an updated, higher end, more luxurious resort. The thing that I did not expect or like were the black CATS on the property hanging around outside the main restaurant area. One reason I booked the resort was because of the NO PET policy. Deja should do something about that.

Based on reviews we booked this hotel. It is more like a 2 star at best. Food is boring and very little choice of salad or fruit. The rooms are basic. The overall decor of the hotel is dated. Tea and coffee in the room is basic. The room fridge does not keep anything cold. Service in the restaurant is not very quick. The staff are nice and friendly. The bedding is grey especially the pillowcases and the pillows are so old they give no support. A/c in the room is not very efficient. If you don’t have the room windows open during the day the room will smell and the bedding will be damp on your return to the room. There is very little to do in the area so the hotel is the only place to be apart from the private beach opposite which is lovely. There are no real restaurants nearby for a change of food. The company has just celebrated 10 years of this hotel. Things need to change is they are to survive another 10

Quartos limpos e confortáveis. Infraestrutura completa do hotel, piscina, jacuzzi, opções de comida e drinks tudo maravilhoso! Em frente a Doctor’s cave (praia paga, mas com entrada gratuita para os hóspedes do resort) que é maravilhosa! Ainda é perto de várias lojinhas e restaurantes e uma dica extra: não deixe de ir na Sunset Public Beach, é uma praia pequena e charmosa frequentada pela população local, imperdível pra quem quer vivenciar a cultura jamaicana raiz!

Único ponto a melhorar seria oferecer serviço de bar do próprio hotel na beira da praia! Mas seria um detalhe apenas, porque a experiência deste hotel foi ótima!

All of the very friendly staff looked after from start to finish. The attentive staff have high energy and very willing please. Some of the views over to the beach are stunning. Though I don't eat meat there was plenty at every mealtime to satisfy my needs and I never went hungry.

We stayed for 3 nights earlier this month. The hotel is good value for money. We stayed in room 92 a suite, was huge, very clean and 2 large double beds, modern bathroom and a terrace with seating at the front. The hotel is a good 3 star, pool area is small but never crowded. Enjoyed the table tennis and pool table. Majority of the staff were polite and friendly. Shout out to Andre who bought our bags to the room and gave us a warm welcome, Ron on security at night who always had time for a chat and sat with me whilst I awaited our food delivery and Dexter on the omelette bar at breakfast who started the day with a smile and his energy was infectious. The beach opposite the hotel doctors cove is STUNNING and as a guest you get free access just ask reception for a ticket and your beach towels. The hotel is perfectly located on the busy hip strip and is a 5 mins airport transfer. As a vegetarian I struggled a bit with the evening meals and ordered in a couple of nights but if you are a meat eater and enjoy local cuisine you will be happy. I would recommend as a good value get what you pay for hotel in a central location

The manager went beyond, out of her way to insure that my stay was very comfortable. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Anyone looking for authentic Jamaica food a wide selection is served on their buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I had a fantastic stay at Deja Resort! The front desk staff were welcoming, housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the entertainment team made the experience fun and lively. The food was consistently great, and a special thank you to Mikesha from the food and beverage team for her kindness and exceptional service. Huge shoutout as well to Donavan Kenny and Kevon at the bar—they were outstanding, friendly, and truly elevated the experience. The security staff were professional and reassuring throughout. Overall, amazing service across the board. I would definitely return and highly recommend!

It’s on the strip, so lots of traffic; staff weren’t very friendly ( best staff was the crossing guard); cosmetic issues in the bathroom; cracks in the deck, didn’t seem safe; construction on the property until around 9 pm.

Amazing stay at Deja Resort! Just steps from Doctor's Cave Beach - crystal clear water, calm, and perfect for relaxing. The resort has a laid-back, peaceful vibe. It's small, more personal, and great for unwinding. Rooms were clean, staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious and fresh with a great mix of Jamaican and international options. Went with my two kids as a single mom. We all felt comfortable and had a great time. We would definitely return! Tip: Wednesdays get very busy on the Hip Strip due to cruise ships. The beach fills up super early.

Very nice place. Clean rooms and friendly staff, stopped by the grill and bar and played a fun game with the other guests, with little to no noise, for the price you get a lot of value!a very homely atmosphere, I would recommend!

Neat little resort, right on the hip strip of Montego Bay and across the street from Doctors Cave Beach. The staff is awesome for the most part, the resort is kept clean, the food is always fresh and tasty - you get to sample the authentic Jamaican experience! The traffic, the honks, the sirens are constant. As a Deja guest, you have free access to Doctors Cave Beach, but no chairs and no umbrella - unless you dish out a whopping $21 US per day for 2 chairs and an umbrella. As we walked on the strip, we were stopped by merchants and locals constantly (weed, shopping, taxi, etc…) but never in a threatening or agressive way. Shout out to Chevelle, Marjorie, Dextar, Trevor and all the ladies that catered to our cappuccino requests every day, RESPECT 💜❤️🫶🏻
