The facility was dirty, we left the very same day we got there within an hour. There were dead bugs around, hair everywhere on the floor, bread crumbs.

Everything is updated, clean and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating.

The breakfast could be improved by simply adding boiled eggs.

Their policy is to clean room every other day which we were not aware of. Our stay was for 2 nights so we were rather taken aback when we got back from a trip and the bed was not made up or garbage emptied etc. The property looks like it’s in the process of being updated. Landscaping needs work.

The breakfast was perfect. Good way to start the day. The location is great. Close to the Main Street for shopping and to the highway.

Lousy coffee with horrible powdered cream! When you have to get up at 5:AM to be somewhere at 6 Am you need to have good coffee. It was horrible! Had to go to Tim Hortons!

There was great space in our room, everything worked and was clean. Very quiet and it was private enough. The bathroom and jetted tub were very clean. Very comfortable stay.

The rooms all fully updated. They are nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast selection. Water pressure was good and lots of hot water.

Bright lights coming in through the window even with the blinds closed. Small mat at front door and with all the snow and slush very difficult to stay on the tiny space, there should be a bigger doormat.

Upon arrival staff were very nice.

The rooms heater was really loud, You could here people in the morning walking in there rooms and woke us up the walls must be extremely thin.

The room was clean, and beautifully renovated. Staff was friendly and courteous. My only issue was that a breakfast buffet was advertised in the pics and the buffet was none existent. Instead they had a cold bag breakfast which contained an apple, granola bar, yogurt, water, and juice box.

When we checked in, there was a funky smell coming from the washroom and after inspection, we noticed there were stains in the bottom of the toilet. We notified reception and they came over to check. She apologized and moved us to another room right away. The quick service was greatly appreciated. The new room was clean, washroom was a bit old and small cracks on the floor, the top lock for the door was broken. The TV only had a few channels but we only needed the place to sleep since we would be out all day so it served it's purpose. Rooms were spacious. Mini fridge was helpful in keeping our drinks cold, microwave we did not use nor the coffee machine. The location was perfect in Bracebridge. We would stay here again.

Advertised continental breakfast- only had a coffee machine. Plumbing was old, mattresses were soft and lumpy. Listers as a hotel- was an old one level motel.

The breakfast was suppost to be a hot breakfast, not a brown bag . Very disappointed. Beds were not comfortable.

Friendly, helpful staff. Newly refurbished room. No handrails for seniors in the shower. The advertised breakfast was a bare minimum effort, but adequate. All in all it was good value for the money.

Convient spot but musky smell and super loud AC. Not great for the price we paid.

I only stayed here bc most other places were booked (last minute trip) and the other options were very expensive. I honestly think even this was way overpriced. The room smelled moldy/old smoke (likely from years ago), had carpet (very unhygienic), the shower curtain was moldy and smelled, and the bedding was also stained with no real comforter (a sheet, sone sort of thin maybe flanked “blanket” and a thin maybe Duvet cover).

The staff are lovely and helpful! However, we were in the wing that has yet to be renovated and it was very outdated - so wasn’t worth the value. The breakfast was only a small bag of snacks, as they're in the midst of renovations. Understandable, but we wish we were told ahead of it. On the plus side, the room was clean, good water pressure and the fridge was cold. We got a peek at the newly updated wing, and it looks great! We look forward to staying in the updated rooms.

Property has false advertising. Breakfast in a bag consisting of water , yogurt and granola bar. Room was covered in dog hair upon arrival and had to wait for it to be re cleaned. Air conditioning did not work and it was very hot. Had to request a fan. Beds very soft and uncomfortable. Construction taking place around the property. Travelled with 3 young children. I do not recommend this property. There are others available in the area for around the same price which unfortunately did not have availability. Note this property does not have a pool as advertised on some of their websites and road signs. Also was charged more on my credit card than the quoted price. Beware!

Yes, the rooms appear to have been recently renovated and so were at clean, except for the bathroom where the baseboard heater under the sink was rusted metal, they missed that part I guess?

The room was sparsely furnished, and there definitely was room for a bedside table on the right side, I had to use the floor to put my glasses etc. AND there was also plenty of room in the corner for a chair and a lamp. There was no place to sit down to read except on the beds and one chair at the desk. The other big issue was the television - the remote did not turn the tv on after it was shut off the first time. A lovely receptionist came initially to figure it out and find channels suitable for children, only 1, how would we have known to start in the 700's? We turned it off at bedtime, then in the morning there was no longer a signal. Last point - both sinks had the typical hot/cold flow reversed. Very hot water came out when the handle was turned right for cold water. This was not safe for children. !!!

Don’t judge a book by its cover, they are undergoing renovations. Inside, is all brand new and very clean. The outside is getting a face lift. Perfect location. Reasonable pricing. Visited with two young children.

loved the place. As mentioned regarding breakfast, I do not like that I get it in a paper bag. I was at Calgary in travel lodge, and breakfast was amazing. There was cereal for the kids. This place there was nothing, not even milk, for the coffee.

Room was newly renovated, clean, comfy bed. Quiet. Advertised said continental breakfast included, but it was a bagged breakfast with water, juice, apple, granola bar and yogurt. The continental breakfast wouldn't be available for a few weeks due to renovations.

I didn’t stay there went to the tru Hilton next door it Was so disgusting with ants all over including bed went to wash my face and the odor coming out of sink made me sick I would like a refund as I couldn’t stay there you need to take it off your site until it’s cleaned up the women you checked us in was pleasant but the room I would rate less than 1 I was there 15 minutes

Area was quiet and within walking distance to restaurants and such. Limited staff on site, rooms has a mildew smell as if there was water damage.

That my room card was activated and I didn’t need to return to the office. The hair dryer gave off sparks when I turned it on. The door curtain did not slide, it was left open , not good!!

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant experience.

It was a pleasant stay- just the breakfast part could have been more transparent. We were expecting a complete breakfast as in other Wyndham properties but it was just a takeaway bag. However overall it was a decent stay!

Great time had staff great huge room with one queen one double beds. Room clean smell and very clean. Only complaint small bathroom lots of hot water and great water pressure also note a second sink outside the bathroom. We had an outdoor deck with wooded area very nice touch felt very safe. See lots of work being done to update the rooms and No Hilton has not bought out this Travelodge when trying to book another stay this is what it says. Special mention to Angel very hospitable and kind.

We decided to book because we were on 4 days no power. It was clean, warm, and worked for what we needed. Staff was great for check in and out. Fair price. I read many reviews and was weary but didn’t experience any of the things that were in negative reviews.

I always have a good stay at this Travellodge. It is clean , has everything you need and friendly staff.

The place was gross! I paid a lot of money for it. $194.50 for 1 night!!!!! Same as if I would of stayed a actual hotel. This was a gross, unkempt, Dirty, small Motel room. Washrooms were gross, water splashed all over you when you wash your hands and sink overflowed, shower was gross, toilet was tiny and moved when you sat on it? Couldn't close washroom door. Mini fridge was all rusted. TV didn't have many channels, room was crammed, no breakfast as stated in the reservation, we got a paper bag with an apple, a yogurt, a juice box and granola bar, that was the breakfast. Bed had hair on it. Just all around a rip off!!! The advertising online is totally false! I would have never booked it was advertised correctly. Lady kept $100 deposit for any damages. I cant see how much more damage a person can do to an already disgusting room. Upon checking out I wanted her to check to room so that I don't get charged, don't want any surprises. Feel so ripped off and gross couldn't wait to get home.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. I had some issues with the room but the staff handled very well. The room was very clean as well.
