Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Staff pleasant and helpful. Good sized clean room and water in shower really hot. Very good choice at breakfast. Central location convenient for cafes and shops. Car park adjacent to hotel free between 5 pm and 9 am so leaving the car all day only costs 6 euros. Enjoyed sitting out on the terrace with a glass in hand and watching the boats passing on the river.
Hall carpet outside lift on second floor marked but not a major issue.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Great river view from our room and the bar! Parked our motorbike on the pavement in front of the hotel for free.
Bar food was probably microwaved but it was OK, the room was OK but no kettle to make tea or coffee although not a deal breaker, but for a chain hotel it would have made a difference. When we checked in I paid on arrival as requested, I was given the room key card. We had taken all our luggage to our room and tried the key card, alas it didn't work, I went back to the reception and asked the lady if she could reset it, to be told it doesn't work and she had forgot to say. From hereon in every time we wanted to go to our room we had to ask someone to let us in (Obviously could not give us the master key to keep) really not ideal when you just want to pop to your room for anything and te staff were busy so we had to wait.

Well that’s the first and last time I’ll ever book an Ibis Hotel. First impressions matter.. We arrive, I say ‘Bonjour, checking in…’ Graceless snap back from the young man ‘No check in until 3’, no hello, no welcome, no smile - nothing. We could leave our bags, but had to ask it was not offered. Luckily the town is very pretty to wonder around in while you wait for the unwelcoming hotel to let you in (it’s not cheap, just seems that way). Note there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room although the listing makes you think there are (available upstairs). They don’t answer questions via booking.com while you’re staying there. We stupidly paid extra for a river view but our room was under the terrace so we got table and chair dragging noises still at 22:45

the whole hotel needs a bit of TLC from lift, bedroom corridor to bedroom especially shower all needs an upgrade. Accor are now being challenged by for example Hampton by Hilton and need to up their game for the price. Also location not reallyin the town but good 10 minute walk outside!

La chambre située en rez-de-chaussée, à même le trottoir, avec personnes passant devant notre fenêtre ou qui fument devant l'hôtel donc nous ne pouvions même pas ouvrir le rideau occultant pour préserver notre intimité et surtout très bruyant avec les conversations devant notre fenêtre.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Easy to locate, 2nd stay. Pleasant reception staff and staff throughout my stay. Parked motorcycle 🏍 outside front of hotel entrance. Room was spacious, situated on ground floor. Powerful shower 🚿. Bed 🛌 was really comfortable. Nice breakfast & easy check out.
Room could do with a refresh, along with bathroom 🚻, becoming a little tired in places. Ear plugs were provided & I found out the reason, the odd bit of traffic passing but more concerning was noisy people talking & shouting at 1am & 3am! As my window 🪟 was left open for fresh air, they received a few choice English words which seemed to have done the trick! Not necessarily to do with the hotel but they may have been guests returning.

W pokoju nie działała karta magnetyczna w drzwiach ( podobno od kilku dni) , za każdym razem pani z recepcji chodziła z nami otwierać nam drzwi do pokoju co było irytujące. Poinformowała nas że ma tylko 1 klucz więc nie może nam go dać! Na drugi dzień z panem z recepcji nie było tego problemu. Poza tym w łazience była zepsuta suszarka do włosów i uchwyt na prysznic. Słaby wybór na śniadanie oraz niesmaczna kawa.

Helaas geen koffie/thee faciliteiten op de kamer. Vers fruit bij het ontbijt.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Die Lage des Hotels sowie die Terrasse, das Frühstück und die Lounge/Bar waren sehr gut. In unmittelbarer Nähe stehen viele kostengünstige Parkplätze zur Verfügung.
Die Badezimmer sind langsam ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

We were taken aback at the state of the inside of this hotel! The entrance reception area was not clean, the reception toilet smelt of urine and no toilet paper, walls and doors had mark's on them, stains on carpets. We could see directly behind the bar while waiting in reception and there were towels on the floor moping up water under a fridge.The room we were given on the ground floor was so dark! again there were marks on the walls and doors, the bathroom was old and dated. We complained and were given a room over looking the river which was bright and of course better but again everything else was the same as the first room.

The staff wasn’t very welcoming, the room was dark and very dated and had a bit of a stale smell to it. Breakfast was very average I wouldn’t recommend.

The windows are not sound proof and you can here everything from the outside, cars, people talking, phone ringing...

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Chyba tylko dobra lokalizqcja ratuje ten obiekt. Na plus śniadania, które były dość przyzwoite jak na hotel tej klasy. Było coś na ciepło, były warzywa i owoce, a nawet pomarańcze i wyciskarka do robienia świeżego soku.
Obiekt jest dość zapuszczony. Od wejscia widac mocno zabrudzone wykładziny w korytarzach, a trudno o to zeby poprawic pierwsze złe wrażenie. To sieciowy hotel z bardzo podstawową oferta, ale ceni się jak na proponowane warunki jednak dość wysoko. Pokoj dostaliśmy na poziomie minus 1 i bylo to miejsce ciemne i ponure. Na suficie była jakaś wilgotna plama przy czujce alarmowej, pojemnik na mudlo przy umywalce pusty, chyba ktos zapomnial napelnić, a wśrod hotelowych broszur i informatorów wlożona byla karta pocztowa z odrecznie napisanymi pozdrowieniami od personelu tyle, że dla jakichs innych gości. Może zreszta leżala tam od lat? To wszystko drobiazgi i w hotelu da się przenocować. Łazienka i posciel są czyste. To wystarczy zeby sie przespać, pojechac dalej i zapomnieć. Ale to właśnie te drobiazgi decydują o tym, czy dane miejsce wspominasz dobrze czy kiepsko.
