Overpriced menu for the quality of food in room service

I had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel. The reception staff and the manager were very helpful, polite, and always willing to assist, which I really appreciated.

Unfortunately, my checkout experience was disappointing because of a receptionist named Raja. During my refund process, I felt he tried to prevent the refund from being returned even after the situation had been clarified. I found his behavior rude and unprofessional, and it left a very negative impression at the end of my stay.

The room size was decent. location was also good.

The bathroom was too small and the drainage was not ok. The whole water was stagnant on the floor as well as the wash basin. not the quality expected from hilton.

Decent spread of breakfast (sausage tasted bad, though), friedly and caring staff (except 1 or 2 not-so-trained well staff for a 5 star hotel), clean, decent sized pool, good restaurant for dinner.

☹️ rooms are extremely noisy. Partly due to the filtering pump buzzing. A nightmare. Could not sleep at night. Thanks to the manager, last night the pump and any probable other device were deactivated and we could sleep one night over 3.

I was in Thiruvananthapuram with my mom and kids and had a two day stay at Hilton. As an international tourist when i choose Hilton my expectation is that I get a consistent experience due to HILTON brand. Here is my experience in Kerala. The front desk staff was very accommodating, especially Akhil, he realized our situation as we were early for checkin and had a senior citizen with us. he provided us the rooms we booked ahead of time. The food was ok but not so great. The service in the food section was chaotic. I believe there was shortage of staff in the food service section . Also, I had booked with breakfast included in booking.com, but when I was there they informed me that it was not the case and was charged for it.

Went for sushi and chef Binod came over and explained our options and we had some very nice options that day. Good suggestion of Himachi for sashimi turned out to be an excellent choice. We had a nice outing. Good ambience, friendly staff and good food.

The property itself is getting old. There is a damp, musty smell throughout the property, and we also found bed bugs on the beds. Overall, it is a good property with great potential, but the owners/investors should prioritize maintenance and refurbishment as soon as possible.

We had some issues with the newly painted and polishing works done in the room. The smell was bit overpowering.

Excellent food served at restaurant , Biryani and kebabs were awesome , would like to appreciate chef - Mohd Azad for hospitality and service. He is a amazing chef .Also would like to thanks entire team for excellent service
