★★★★★ Five stars for customer service! Thank you, Pedro! We’ve stayed here before and have always enjoyed the clean rooms, comfy beds, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. This time, we made a last-minute, non-refundable booking and were almost there when we heard there was a forest fire on the outskirts of our hometown, Summerland. We had to turn around and get home. I spoke with Pedro at the front desk, and he kindly offered to speak with his manager and do his best to help. Shortly afterwards, we were fully refunded for our stay. Not all hotels are this accommodating, and I really wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the kindness and understanding. It meant a lot during a stressful situation. Thank you, Pedro! 🙏❤️

Room was clean enough

Elevator was scary slow, bar next door was out of control, heard people yelling at 11pm, 1245 and then homeless fighting at 545am. Very scary for my daughter.

Район расположения отеля,вокруг много бездомных. И прям под парковкой где отель предлагает осталять машину тоже живут бездомные, мы очень переживали за автомобиль. Также чистота ковролинов в номере и плитки в санузле оставляет желать лучшего. Кондиционер в номере работает очень плохо и когда ты ставишь его на максимальную мощность он очень гудит, спать не возможно. Пришлось выбирать между духотой и шумом

It took a while to get service, but extra coffee and an iron was delivered.

Be prepared to spent $20 a day for parking, it was not readily explained how to get to the parking area for the hotel in the Pier Parkade nor that the fee was daily and not a one time expense. I was also disappointed with there only being 2 caffeine coffees in the room despite booking for 3 people.

Location was perfect as we where travelling for the world Cup ,Near Skytrain verry convenient

The neighborhood is under development with a lot of homeless people in the streets ,hotel was overpriced .

How clean and comfortable it the room was.

There is no parking, when you check in you disturb the bus stop outside. The search for public parking was such a struggle.

Decently priced. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very nice and professional. Definitely smelled clean even though the wear and tear makes it look rough. That was reassuring.

Room was tired. Needs new carpets, new mattress, wall repairs, paint, shower head.

After a number of reviews the hotel still has not cleaned up its mold or done any upgrades. We probably will not be returning.

Bed was comfortable.

Building being old is not an excuse for lack of cleanliness. Our room had several stains on the carpet, ripped shower curtain, dirty windows etc.

Location was convenient for my needs. But it is in town and there was a typical contingent of homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks. I didn't mind, but I'm sure some would Nice, strong water pressure in the shower.

You are limited to on street parking or a lot across the street which costs extra $$ The room had a lingering aroma about it as if the carpet had been recently replaced and not adequately aired out. So it was a little chemical smelling. If it is new carpet, it should fade.

It is better to stay on waterside of hotel. The back has skytrain station behind it. It is not too bad for noise, if your were a light sleeper it may be hard to rest.

Amazing staff and service. Very prompt communication and helped me with any questions I had. The rooms where very clean. And I love the vibe! The lounge on our floor was so cute! I had issues with the shower running cold even with only the hot water on but the gentleman at the front desk when I checked out appreciated the feedback as that is an issue they thought they recently fixed. The only down side to this place is the parking.

The only down side to this place is the parking. There is none out front. I had to pay $7.50 for two hours in the angle parking so I can bring my stuff up to the room. Then $18 for the parking pass for the night and half day across the street a bit. And there where no trollys to help carry the luggage up so it took me a few trips to get it all to the room. This is why its 4 stars and not 5.

Location is great. Near the quay, restaurants and transit. Definitely an old building but beds were comfortable and room was clean. Slightly run down but perfectly fine for the price and location.

Air con is old and noisy

I loved the location, being so close to a sky train stations and the iconic quay were important to me. The place was cute with a good layout. The place was also very quiet, I wasn't able to hear neighbours through the walls!

I didn't like how cold it was by the window at night with the air conditioner being installed the way it was, but the thermostat was easy to adjust. I also didn't account for how close to the train the hotel was, light sleepers will likely struggle with the train and emergency service sirens at night.

Nice, spacious room. Clean, everything you need. Pub is allocated and very convenient for having dinner.

The rooms towards the back are just facing the skytrain station and in the morning hours it's getting noisy.

TV could of had more channels

Location was really convenient, staff was very nice and helpful. You can tell that many improvements have been made to the rooms (furniture, fixtures). Water pressure was great.

As it is a heritage building we found it to be not very soundproof (sky train and pier are right there). If you are sensitive to sounds at night this might not be the best choice. No parking included in price, parking is in a lot across the street.

The location was close to where we had an appointment. The staff were excellent and super helpful.

No offloading area. Beds horribly uncomfortable. Room was too hot, could not control heat - was very uncomfortable.

Bad sound proofing. The people who stayed next door and some other families were hanging out, chatting and laughing very loudly in the common area after 9, and continue to make a lot of noise in the room until close to 11. We knocked on the wall to give them a warning and they bang the wall back. You can also hear all the traffic or drunk people from the street. Just be aware if you do plan to stay here and want to get a good night rest.

Location and proximity to skytrain.

Air con not efficient enough and rather old. More coat hangers required. Replace small soaps in plastic with bigger plunge bottles for general use and refillable. Carpets threadbare in places.

A little tired as a property with partially threadbare carpets but that’s almost endearing for an older building.

Location and staff are excellent but keep in mind this is a 2 star hotel in a busy noisy location. The rooms are slightly tired but very well equipped with fridge and microwave. Next door to Columbia sky train, pubs, eateries and convenience shops.

Exceptional front desk service. The staff were incredibly friendly, responsive, and always ready to help. Any request was handled immediately and with genuine care. Easily one of the best hotel service experiences I’ve had. Highly appreciated!

As soon as I park front of the hotel there is a big fight people they try to go to liquor store and I couldn’t park there. I had to leave

The carpets were old and dirty. They would definitely need to be replaced. Also, the room was a bit cold and there was no way to turn off the ceiling fan. Also, they didn’t provide a toothpaste. It’s a cheap but extremely useful and necessary item, so I’m wondering if they could add this to the stuff they put in the bathroom.

The restaurant next door was very inviting and had lovely employees that make you feel comfortable

The Met is in a perfect location. Very close to the Sky Train station, several restaurants, and the beautiful pier. I will definitely be returning for another visit!

I have no negatives to speak of. My experience was great during my stay and it was amazing to wake up each morning with the beautiful view of the river. Thank you for having an excellent hotel with affordable prices, I shall be back.

Its easy to locate

Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom not clean. Staff can be friendlier.

Close to sky train and road network, it saved me a lot of time moving around. Bar next door was ideal for getting a late breakfast or a tipple in the evening. Parking across the street was spacious.

Room temperature as hot and controllers did not work. I had to put the ac on to combat the heat.

The bed was very comfortable. The front desk service was good.

The hairdryer did not work. The walls could do with a paint. There was a musty, horrible smell in the room.

The noise from the nearby bar and the SkyTrain station. The walls are thick, but the window doesn't cut off the noise at all. The room could have used a bit more cleaning, as there was some small personal items left around the sink from a previous guest.

That's a two stars budget hotel. No breakfast offered, but the rooms are large and there is a coffee machines with capsules acaluable in the room. Also the hals between the rooms have pleasent seatting places to them.

No breakfast offer at all, it's only nect door to s pub. Also, electricit6 sockets are hidden beneth the desk and probably below the night lamp counter,. I couldnt find it.

Room was huge two beds & plenty of space to move. Located next to Columbia Skytrain station for good public transport. Microwave provided to heat food from supermarkets, take outs etc. Had a physical key to lock room which is unusual but fun. Didn't eat in the attached pub. Coffee maker in room with selection of pods.

Room backed onto Skytrain so some noise - wasn't too loud. No hot water for 1 morning due to furnace breakdown but was fixed for next day.

Tiles were falling off shower walls, carpet was very old and didn’t appear to be clean. Shower head didn’t have a shower type spray, window mounted AC unit was very noisy all night. Was exactly the same when I stayed there 2 months ago, but location is what I needed

Nous n’avions qu’une nuit à passer avant notre retour en France. Le rapport qualité/prix était très correct.

Ce quartier de Vancouver n’a pas beaucoup d’intérêt. Il n’y a qu’une minuscule réception, pas de possibilité d’un petit-déjeuner.

It's located near SkyTrain for easy Access. Well kept facilities. The building has interesting history as well.
